Hank wants a wife, a family, and he wants it all with Sally. Will she be able to handle his proposal?

Sally and Hank hadn’t been close in high school – but Sally knew exactly who the handsome man was, friendly to a fault Hank had been one of the few men who never teased or hurt her. While Sally hadn’t missed him, exactly, when he moved to the city her life had been full of him now he’d moved back home and opened up a bakery directly opposite her own. Can both their businesses – and hearts – survive the close contact?

This is a fun and steamy short story that I feel will appeal to a wide range of readers. I was a little disappointed that the conflict aspect of the story felt quite forced to me. Far from Hank and Sally’s businesses being in competition with each other Hank had gone to great lengths to ensure his bakery didn’t in any way encroach on Sally’s business or clients – indeed he was up front right at the start in admitting he’d even hired a professional to assess how he could open his bakery and not be a negative impact on Sally’s shop or create division with her clients. I was pretty puzzled therefore when Sally seemed to feel as if Hank was trying to nudge her out and steal her clients. Sally herself admitted that she’d not lost profit or sales as yet and virtually the first words Hank said to her was how he’d hired a consultant to ensure this conflict didn’t happen before he even opened his business. So Sally’s continued annoyance and feelings of being hard done by just felt a bit over the top to me, personally.

I was pretty pleased though how Hank managed to take this odd insistence of Sally’s to feel annoyed and put out in his stride. I really got the feeling Hank is the sort of guy no one could stay mad with for long, and I was pleased he managed to turn Sally’s attitude around just by being friendly, nice and determined. When Sally finally allowed herself to admit just how attracted to Hank she was – and always had been – the relationship finally began to flourish and feel a bit more realistic to me. Once Sally and Hank finally got on the same page and their relationship progressed I really felt the rest of the story just clicked into place for me and was really enjoyable.

With two modern and complex characters and some seriously steamy sex this was a good and quick read.

Randy knows Bertha is usually completely calm and collected, but he’s not initially worried. When Bertha contacts him and beg for help he’s drawn into his most bizarre case yet.

While this is part of a series I haven’t read any of the previous installments and can happily say this book truly stands well alone. I adored catching all the puns and various mangled references (a cat called Schrodinger, for example) and this coupled with the hard-boiled edge of Randy’s voice mingled really well so the story didn’t feel too noir or edgy, but also not just a light and fluffy comedy story either. I thought the author did an amazing job balancing these two and I found myself both deeply embroiled in the mystery aspect to the plot while laughing at the references I caught and enjoying the lighter tone equally well.

Readers looking for a humorous mystery that doesn’t take itself too seriously but still has a solid plot, a wealth of interesting and varied magical characters and an astonishingly well-detailed world should find this story a delight. The pace moves quickly at times and I found myself needing to go back and read more carefully in a few places as the author manages to put a number of clever references and witty ripostes in a very short space of words. It’s easy to overlook small details like this and I’m certain this book will only grow deeper and more complicated in a wonderful way upon further re-reads. This is exactly the sort of book where even on the third or fourth re-read you can catch extra hints, tips and clues and be delighted all over again at the cleverness of the author and characters.

Hopefully she can learn fast enough not to start a war, destroy their whole belief system, and learn to date a pair of centaurs, because it looks like there is no returning home.

Kiara was enjoying her parachuting course in Cambodia – right up until the moment some unusually high winds had her instructor bailing out on her, literally, cutting the cord tethering them together and leaving Kiara to fend for herself as she tried to navigate her descent down a mountain and back onto green, safe, firm land. When Kiara lands in a tree, for a moment she’s beyond grateful simply to be alive. An accident has Kiara not only warmly embraced into a clan of Centaur’s, but hailed as their savior and Goddess. When Zeethan and Xaylu are given to Kiara can the three of them make this new arrangement work?

I really enjoyed this sexy short story. While the concept of the story was pretty out there – Kiara parachuting into a group of Centaur’s and staying amongst them as a goddess – I soon realised that both the characters and the blossoming threesome romance between Kiara, Zeethan and Xaylu was both relatable and interesting. I loved the fresh take on this paranormal romance and while a fair bit of my brain needed to be disconnected to suspend my disbelief, the story and enjoyment I got from this made it well worth it.

I was particularly pleased that Zeethan and Xaylu already had a well established, seemingly long-term committed relationship before Kiara came along. This helped me find the speed with which the threesome formed feel a lot more believable and I could also understand why since the basis of the relationship was already solid and well-proved adding Kiara into the mix didn’t rock the boat too much. I laughed a bit at how Kiara managed to integrate with the other female Centaurs – never in a million years would I have guessed that aspect to the plot so I found it not only humorous, but also incredibly unique and interesting.

With an interesting plot and some relatable and cool paranormal characters this was a fun and fresh story that I really enjoyed.

This is a fast paced steamily erotic story. I really enjoyed both Mario and Heather’s characters almost immediately and found myself quite emotionally invested in both of them and their slowly blossoming relationship. I was really pleased the author spent a bit of time showing us what Heather and Mario were like before they jumped into bed together – this helped them feel more realistic but also let me grow attached to them and become invested in their romance. While Mario was a little cookie cutter as a character, the over-protective, masculine persona never really grows old with me and I really enjoyed how Heather was a lot more unique. Her talents lay in costume design and being a beginner seamstress and I loved how refreshing and different this was.

The sex between Mario and Heather is explicit and steamy. I was pleased though that there was a good balance between the sex and growing romance between the two main characters and the plot of Heather being in danger and trying to change her life around. I felt both aspects to the story got an equal and strong showing in the story and this helped keep the tension high but also kept the story feeling like it moved along at a good pace.

Sexy and strongly plotted, I enjoyed this interesting erotic story.

Cordelia was a writer and a changeling and is determined not to fall under Taylor’s spell. Can the two neighbors find their way onto middle – and safe – ground together?

Both Taylor and Cordelia were layered and complicated characters so I was really pleased the author spent time letting us as readers really get to know them both before anything more intimate grew between them. While it was clear Taylor and Cordelia would end up together in bed and the antagonistic relationship between them would quickly sweeten and grow deep – the fact this didn’t happen instantly was fantastic. It helped the whole situation feel more realistic to me, but also let me really believe something more than a fling was growing between them.

I also enjoyed how the more we learned about both Taylor and Cordelia the more complex they each became. I was pleased Cordelia explained much of her back story – though I personally found it slowed the pace of the story somewhat. The added tension and conflict was welcome, but I feel having Cordelia explain and re-live those memories so shortly before finally becoming intimate with Taylor felt a little jarring when I first read it.

With two unique and really interesting characters this paranormal story was fresh and completely different from anything I’ve previously read. I enjoyed the emotional connection Taylor and Cordelia built up between them and the sex was smoking hot and deliciously explicit. A great, quick read I feel should appeal to plenty of readers.

Gigi Jenson, an up-and-coming Broadway star, finds herself in Willow Springs, Vermont, for the summer as director of their first annual community revue. This sleepy town is worlds away from her vibrant and beloved New York City, but the experience she’ll gain will be invaluable to her career.
Jason Simmons has lived in Willow Springs his entire life. Working several jobs while writing music, he yearns for a contract to record his songs. The one chance he had to make it in Nashville he blew due to stage fright.
When Jason volunteers to help Gigi with the revue, sparks ignite but their dreams are taking them in different directions. Could their love for each other guide them to the same path?

Gigi decides a change of pace is needed when she struggles to find her dreams in New York City. Taking a position to direct a community review in a tiny village in Vermont might have been a bigger change of pace than she’d reckoned with. Jason had blown his one chance at the big time – but in his own way he was happy with his small village and his regular slot singing and playing at the local pub. He has no intention of signing up for Gigi’s revue, but when Gigi’s strict rules and stricter suits set a few people on edge he can’t help himself and tries to give her advice on how to fit in with their small town better.

I found it a really odd experience to not really like Gigi’s character from fairly early on in this story. Sure, she’s a modern, upwardly mobile and sassy-as-heck New York lady – but her culture shock at arriving in a small country town in rural Vermont had me seriously struggling to find her appealing. I’m not sure why Gigi accepted a job in such a small town without at least Googling her new, albeit temporary, home. It was surprising to me, therefore, just how strong Gigi’s shock and disappointment was at there being no museums, no boutiques or nightlife or anything Gigi considered absolutely essential. The strength of her dislike of the small village didn’t make me chuckle and empathise with her, on the contrary her attitude and faint disdain made Gigi come across to me as snobby and a little bit bitchy – so it was a hard beginning to what ended up thankfully being such a warm and enjoyable story.
However, medications like online viagra prescriptions , viagra, kamagra etc. are very effective in treating such disease. I was exceedingly grateful, when Gigi managed to swallow her arrogance, lower her lofty New York expectations and relax, letting the small village and all the local characters charm her. I enjoyed the story – and Gigi herself – a lot more when she wasn’t comparing every little thing unfavourably to her regular life in one of the world’s largest, richest and busiest cities and simply enjoyed this time and small town as it was.

In stark contrast to my slow-growing-warmth towards Gigi – I totally loved Jason’s character almost immediately. While he didn’t fall in insta-lust with Gigi – for which I was completely grateful – his attraction to her was quick and he tried to stifle it, knowing she was a Big City girl and was only passing through. I adored how even though Jason was attracted to Gigi he kept his feeling to himself, and offered her advice and help on how to better integrate with the other people in town and make the revue a success. I normally wouldn’t want a hero and main character to hide his feelings in this way – but Gigi absolutely wasn’t ready for any kind of emotional connection or relationship for quite a way into the story and Jason deserved so much better than she could have initially given him. This made his growing attraction and his keeping it to himself completely acceptable and even commendable to my mind.

While the plot of the community revue was solid right throughout the novel, there was also the really strong plots surrounding both Jason and Gigi’s careers. This book was exceptionally well plotted and I loved how the author wove all these parts together throughout the whole story. Gigi is about to make her big break on Broadway and Jason finds himself finally ready to reach for and embrace his music career. I was glad Gigi was completely up front from the beginning with her priorities and plans – she didn’t lead Jason on or give him false hope that she had any desire to stay in this small town, but while I loved this brutal honesty from a plot perspective it dimmed my attraction and attachment to the relationship growing between Gigi and Jason.

I found it hard to invest in them as a couple when it was so clear Gigi had her eyes firmly on her career and progressing as far as she could as fast as possible and while I believed she truly cared for Jason she wanted her career first and foremost and not him. I have to give Gigi major kudos for knowing her own mind and not lying or deceiving Jason – intentionally or not – but I really struggled to get on board with Jason and Gigi as a couple and couldn’t feel overly enthusiastic about their romance when there was so clearly an “expiration date” on it and Gigi always had one foot out the door. Without giving anything too much away this story does have a solid Happily Ever After ending and the romance between Gigi and Jason gets sorted out and full closure – but much of this happens in the final few pages. While all the answers were given and the explanations were there – I truly felt the relationship between Gigi and Jason was merely “fixed” so it gave a Happy Ever After and it didn’t *feel* as if their problems and blockages were resolved. Because of this I feel strongly that some readers will struggle with the romance aspect to this story just like I did. Without time and exposure to how and why Gigi and Jason made their relationship work and how they got there it was difficult to believe in it – just being told “this happened and now they’re all right” didn’t cut it for me, personally.

The plot, the characters and the small town were all well written and well handled to my mind – but for a romance story I feel that in a number of ways the actual romance between Gigi and Jason just didn’t work for me and that was a shame since I enjoyed much of the rest of the story.

Realistic – often brutally so – and with a few well-paced and well-written plots this is an interesting full length story. Readers looking for an intense emotional and romantic connection might not find this story fully satisfies them, but readers who enjoy small-town stories with many interesting characters and a tight plot should find themselves enjoying this story.

To their surprise and pleasure, once they get started these guys “work” well together. Very much so. Maybe a little too much so. Aren’t things like this supposed to be hard? Sometimes, sure. But in this case, the answer to all their questions is three.

Geoff, Ross and Aurelien are all medical students and with enormous exams coming up the three men desperately need some well earned R & R. While they only know each other in passing, none of them can find a reason to knock back Aurelien when he suggests they get a little action – together as a threesome. None of them could have guessed just how well Aurelien’s suggestion would work, but sometimes it takes three.

This is a fun and seriously smoking hot erotic story. I thought the author took just the right amount of time – letting the reader see Ross, Geoff and Aurelien interact together as regular guys before they all hit the sheets and started burning them down. I adored Ross’s character and loved that his enormous brain had some deliciously hidden depths. I also really enjoyed Aurelien’s character and enjoyed how clearly he seemed to see both Geoff and Ross and was fearless in leading the three of them together down a twisty and sexy garden path together. Geoff in many ways was a good vehicle for the reader, trying to catch up and go with the flow but needing to have the situation explained and help get to know all three men’s characters. So this balance really worked for me and I found myself enjoying the story immensely.

Once the sexual shenanigans start these three men really steam up the page. I enjoyed not just the sex but how the three guys took their time getting to explore and learn how they fit together. Usually it seems that the threesome stories I read at least two of the partners know each other or have a long-standing friendship/relationship so I found it refreshing and enjoyable to see how three near-strangers could forge an equal and intense relationship in a fairly short period of time. I was particularly pleased that Aurelien and Geoff made a concentrated effort to include Ross in their ménage – since Ross had a tendency to get distracted and his character could have easily been lost or overlooked, which I strongly feel would have been a pity and disservice to him.

Readers looking for a quick read with three vibrant and interesting characters and a whole bunch of smoking hot ménage sex should find this short story very satisfying.

That’s not the life Piper wants and she hopes she can keep everything together long enough to get out of town. When she’s rescued from a horrid situation by Colonel she’s grateful, but understandably cautious. Can Colonel convince her that they belong together?

This is a hot and sexy quick read. I enjoyed Piper’s character – wanting more than just to be painted in the same brush as her family but unsure how to break out of the mould when she was stuck in such a small town with narrow minds. I was really impressed that Colonel didn’t feel the need to intimidate or coerce Piper in any way.

I’m often not a fan of MC stories because I feel they flirt just a little too close to the darker side of erotic stories but this one really appealed to me. Colonel respected Piper and was intrigued by her – wanted to get to know her and while he didn’t appear to want anything lasting for quite some time into the story, he also didn’t simply want to have sex and then ditch her. I really feel the author did a good job balancing the harder edges of a realistic MC romance with the softer and more respectful aspects of an erotic story.

I also really enjoyed Piper’s perspective – yearning for more than her small town and gossiping neighbors could give her, but still showing loyalty and caring to her mother and sister. In many ways this book ticked a lot of good boxes for me and I thoroughly enjoyed the story simply for what it was – the story of two independent people attracted to each other and slowly learning how to forge a relationship between them when things were complicated. I felt the ending was a little bit rushed but aside from that this was a wonderful short story with a good balance between Piper and Colonel getting to know each other and circle one another and them consummating their relationship.

Equal parts sexy and emotional this is a good, quick read. Recommended.

While I sometimes wasn’t sure of the romance aspect to the story – I thought this story really shines with all the description and interest from Sarah and Matthew’s job together as Park Rangers. I loved how much small detail and extra information the author managed to pack into this side of the story without making it feel like an info-dump or as if there was just massive amount of research – or experience – thrown in for no reason. I felt the story moved naturally and all the details and descriptions of their work as Rangers kept my interest piqued right throughout the story. I felt this really added complexity and depth to the story as a whole and easily was my favourite part to the whole book.

Watching Sarah and Matthew try to work through their past – and see what kind of future they could potentially have together – was really lovely. A few times I wasn’t sure Sarah would be able to see things maturely or clearly as their history was exceptionally emotional for her, but I was vastly relieved when Sarah and Matthew managed to come together and sort out their happy ending.

Readers looking for an emotional, spicy and well paced romance story with interesting characters and a strong plot should find this book really satisfying.
