Caroline Fleming returns to her hometown and buys the old house that she has loved for years.

It comes with a resident spirit, one Malcolm Hanson, who has been dead for years, and who makes an art form at seduction and lovemaking. He is without scruples, manners, or chivalry in his quest for willing partners, of which there are many.

Caroline’s newfound love for Larry Gardner angers the ghost and sets him out for revenge. Caroline and Larry, along with their friends and a beautiful hooker, find a way to handle Malcolm while learning the secrets of the old house that sits high on a hill overlooking the furious Pacific Coast.

They also learn that sex does not have to be for couples only and that love can be shared in many ways.

Though it begins with the usual unexplainable occurrences, Caroline’s House is not your typical ghost story. Caroline suspects the house is haunted almost from the moment she buys it. Slowly but surely, she discovers how very haunted the spot is and by whom, which leads to her involvement with a jealous ghost lover, Malcolm, a jealous living lover, Larry, and enough ghosts to cause a paranormal researcher paroxysms of glee.

The Oregon coastal town, the big house on the sea cliff, the little diner owned by Caroline’s friend, Georgia, all leap off the page for the reader to devour. Love scenes are rendered with heat and feeling and there is certainly no lack of imagination in the sex or in the explanations for the hauntings.

I did have some difficulty with the dialogue, which was sometimes a bit stilted and could have been rendered less distracting by the use of contractions. Some of the characters had an uneven feel as the novel progressed, matched by the somewhat uneven tone of the book. We begin with some wonderful spider-feet-up-your-back scenes where Caroline sees and hears things she is unable to explain, a tender, thoughtful ghost lover and a leering, overly proud living love interest. About a third of the way in, the mood shifts dramatically as the spine-tingling passages disappear and an atmosphere of more earthly frustration and despair take over. Malcolm deteriorates from a misunderstood rascal to a vindictive, selfish monster while Larry shifts between the strong, understanding hero and something of a drama queen.

Caroline, though, remains true to herself throughout the story. Smart, sensitive and wounded by a recent divorce, she keeps her head in trying and often frightening circumstances, refusing to be run out of her house no matter what any blob of ectoplasm might say about it. The plot clips along at a good pace and Ms. Sims has a gift for description I would encourage her to exploit to its full extent in future works.

Ben joined Silver’s club to meet a mate. As a lone wolf he needs to join a pack to survive. But just when he thinks he found his mate in the elegant Thomas, Dillon a man from his old pack, comes into town to claim Ben for himself. What is a wolf to do? Book Two in the Moon Pack series. m/m and m/m/m sexual situations.

After being shunned at the Great Mating Ceremony of his wolf clan, Ben leaves only to find two men who will are both willing to fight for his love and affection. In a return to the exclusive club run by Silver we were introduced to in the previous book, this next installment features Ben after he left the Alaskan wolf pack he grew up with when the man of his dreams failed to show up to their mating ceremony. Heartbroken, Ben moves to Seattle and to his great delight is claimed as mate to the powerful lieutenant of the Moon pack, Thomas. But a happy ever after is not so easy when Ben’s past love decides to claim Ben as well.

Ben is a likable and very relatable character. He grew up as the only half wolf in his pack and thus was somewhat shunned and labeled an outsider. After his pack manipulates the breakup of Ben and Dillion, Ben is heartbroken but he shows strength and honesty in trying to move on. His heart may linger some on Dillion but he’s not willing to pine for a man who left him and instead turns his heart and affection to Thomas, an older man who claims Ben as his mate.

I met Thomas in the previous book and he came across as a wise but isolated character so it was nice to see him find his mate in this installment. Although his love and connection to Ben are clear, he struggles with accepting a second mate in Dillion. Dillion’s almost melodramatic actions actually fit with the setting and expose his own insecurity and vulnerability.

Together these three men will have an interesting but hotly sexual time working out the exact dynamics of their threesome, but I’m definitely looking forward to future glimpses and hope the relationship between Dillion and Thomas eventually grows to the depths each man have with Ben.

Unfortunately I was not as happy with the scenes involving Anthony and Silver from the previous book. In this sequel, the author has turned Anthony almost into a female caricature complete with flouncing and no sex threats. The superlatives continue with yet another twist to Anthony’s bloodline that is over the top. Additionally the author tried to add a lot of elements into a very short time and again, this would have worked better as a longer story as the thin danger element towards Ben was not needed and ended the book on an overly dramatic note. Additionally there were numerous editorial mistakes in this version that were absent before but enough to detract from reading at times.

For the problems I had, I will say I still enjoyed this book in the series, but not as much as the first. I’m looking forward to finishing the remaining books in the series and the author has a very distinct and engaging voice. Although this is a stand-alone book, I urge readers to read the series in alphabetical order for more depth and better understanding of characters. The connection between the couples grows with each successive book in the series and reading them in order gives a better continuous feel for the men involved. For those that can overlook the problems I found will likely very much enjoy not only this book but also the series itself. The men and sex are scorching hot and although short stories, the author offers dynamic personalities and a quick moving, engrossing progression.

Chyna Marsh surrounds herself with men. Perfect men. Dark, blond, tall, muscled or dimpled, she loves them all. Being a romance writer, she creates perfect men for a living. But when her dashing paper hero steps from between the scorching pages of her latest novel, she thinks the rush of the big city is getting to her and relocates to a slow-moving coastal town.

It’s here that she meets two men. Quinn Grayson is dark and devilishly handsome, but his brother Kirk has a severely scarred face and hides deep in the mansion’s cellar. Even though she has been warned to stay away from him, Chyna is helplessly drawn into the midnight shadows where he lurks.

What is there about this elusive phantom that fascinates her–this sinister silhouette whose glowing eyes burn with hunger when they look at her–this hulking creature she has come to know as–Frankenstein!

In a tale full of jealousy, obsession, and love, the author proves the old adage that beauty is in the eye of the beholder to be true.

In this gothic romance, romance author Chyna moves to a small coastal town and begins having some haunting dreams about a fantasy lover who seems to be a real person. I have to admit that at first I was just as confused as Chyna, but I was intrigued by all that was revealed as things soon become clear. The sildenafil citrate has been the major key substance of Kamagra and viagra buy best . Chyna is intrigued by the Grayson brothers and I couldn’t really blame her. Almost complete opposites, these brothers are both scene-stealers. There’s handsome Quinn who is dark and seems to be keeping something from Chyna and those around him. Then there is the horribly scarred Kirk, a gentle soul who lurks in the shadows as he deals with his emotional and physical scars from an accident that killed his parents. Chyna is drawn to Kirk and longs to make him see his own self-worth and I really enjoyed the relationship that develops. But they definitely have quite a few ups-and-downs and complications that they must deal with.

Throw in a bit of magic, jealousy, and a castle by the sea and you have an interesting gothic romance complete with its own monster, if you want to call Kirk that.

While this gothic romance gets off to an interesting start, it starts to fizzle out toward the end as the story takes some unexpected turns and more events are added. At times it felt a bit too plot heavy as things get dragged out and the author adds in little things that while interesting almost seem a bit much. There is so much happening in the book, some of it a bit unbelievable, that I felt that at times some of the events weighed the story down.

But despite this, I still enjoyed the story and the romance that blossoms between the two unlikely characters. The story kind of reminded me of “Beauty and the Beast” or “The Phantom of the Opera” and I enjoyed that. Just like Kirk, Shadow Lover is definitely intriguing despite its flaws

For countless ages a war has raged on, a war most could not see. Two races have battled for their very existences. In the year 2015 the world is changed. World War III is long passed, but its effects remain. Humans have nearly destroyed the earth; global warming has reached a critical point. The sea is rising and the land is shrinking. Those left of the human race now live side by side with beings long thought to be nonexistent.

Vampires control the cities, ruling regions from one point: Washington DC. The Sanguine Council is in control and answers only to one man: Prince Devon Hart. But rebellion is brewing, and Prince Hart is its most strategic victim.

In the outlying lands there lives another race of creatures: shapeshifters. Their lands are slowly being swallowed by the sea and their only option is to move inward, towards the cities. Led by an ancient being using the name of Vincent Sheridan, the shapeshifters fight for survival against their bloodthirsty neighbors. They need a break, a change in strategy. Their prayers are answered by none other than the usurped Prince of the Vampires himself.

Thrown together in an effort to topple the traitorous Sanguine Council, Vincent and Devon find much more in each other than simply a strong ally. Will their relationship create more trouble than they can handle? Or will Vincent and Devon bring about an end to the war through their love?

This book definitely gives new meaning to the phrase “hot sex” and in more than one way. The obvious connotation certainly applies to the incredibly smoking sex between the two main characters but Vincent himself redefines scorching hot in this entertaining and surprisingly engaging post apocalyptic, futuristic world. If possible, viagra tablets read what the ingredient list has to offer. Sexual disorder has become a leading threat in men; this is because of practicing unhealthy viagra without prescription lifestyle comprises excessive smoking. In the not too distant future, a war is raging against vampires and shape shifters, fighting over the remnants of a burnt and destroyed world. As leaders of their people, Vincent and Devon must work together to bring peace before those hungry for power and domination can kill off unsuitable members of either race.

Vivid phrasing and world building easily creates an appealing and captivating atmosphere where mortals are the endanger species. Devon and Vincent are well characterized, given depth and intensity, drawing me into their world and struggles early and readily. Easily able to suspend disbelief over the fantasy elements of various shape shifters, the author’s imagination kept me wondering at each new twist and the intriguing mystery of Vincent’s true shape was wonderfully drawn and executed. The tension from the vampire rebellion was slightly hurried and finished too quickly, given the preceding action and build up; however that didn’t detract from an enjoyable read.

Some details that did detract, if slightly, were the rather odd and repeated shifts from human to animal form of Vincent’s people, giving the impression of multiple people walking around naked and turning into various animals at the drop of a hat. Additionally, all characters talked in animal form, carrying on full conversations sometimes, which was over the top and stretched the lines of plausible disbelief. I will give a slight warning for anyone who is discomforted by sex scenes involving partial animal forms as they do appear in this book. The scenes are fitting and written with intensity and sizzling heat, increasing the heat level of the book almost exponentially.

Overall, I rather enjoyed reading this short, enjoyable spin through the imaginative and twisted world created in this story. Although some parts of the story were distracting, the flow and pacing of the story worked well giving ease to the reading that added to the pleasure. If you like a futuristic world involving vampires, shape shifters and above all incredibly hot, sexy men, you’ll be sure to enjoy this story. I personally would appreciate another tour in this world with either these two characters or new fiery men.

Life is unpredictable. That sentiment should be tattooed on my forehead — or better yet on my lover’s ass. I’d see it more often.

I’m Alex Layton and I’m a soul familiar. Most people know witches and wizards use familiars to enhance their powers. Soul familiars become not only partners with their chosen magic practitioner but mates for life, and we bond with our partners — heart, body, mind, and soul. I’ve found my soul mate, a sweet, gorgeous, recently deflowered virgin, fledging wizard by the name of Tyler Montgomery. To keep him, I face a challenge, or more precisely, we face a challenge. Magical combat designed to test our bond and its strength. If we pass, we live happily ever after. If we lose… let’s just say I refuse to lose.

Everything’s going to be fine. I just know it will. Right? All we have to deal with is the powerful and practiced duo consisting of a fellow soul familiar and his mate who are gunning for us and one accident of nature soul familiar whose erratic powers are making our spells produce daffodils instead of dragons.

Like I said, life is unpredictable. It helps to gain stronger and bigger erection buy uk viagra during sexual stimulation. But these sildenafil no prescription antidepressants also have reversible effect and these side effects can last for months or years after the manufactured date.

In the second book of the series, we return to the fantasy world of quirky men and magical mishaps. Picking up almost exactly where the previous book left off, Alex and Tyler face another challenge to their new union in the form of a magical contest with harsh results for the defeated. Throw in a young, fumbling new mage named Bobby and there are enough elements to keep the story moving along quickly and easily.

As this is the second in the Soul Familiar series, I can only assume Alex and Tyler were well characterized and developed in the opening book because there is little explanation or character progression for the men in this offering. Told exclusively from the first person point of view of Alex’s, I was left wondering at Tyler’s motivations and his past. Brief references to people and situations without further explanation left me sometimes lost in the fast moving action and quick dialogue of the men.

The addition of Bobby to the mix was another unexplained and little understood element, yet I had the impression all the information was already given to the reader in the first book and therefore unnecessary for this sequel. The ultimate magic challenge Alex and Tyler are supposed to be facing never surfaced but with the way the book picked up and left off, I can only assume a third book will delve more deeply into this part of the book.

While a likable read, this was clearly designed to be read in order of the books and I would recommend reading the first book of the series first. Otherwise you may be as lost as I was with the characters and the quick action of the book. With the easy flow writing and charming quirks of the men with some steamy sex, it’s a fun read and likely to please those who are followers of the series already. Newcomers again, read the first then move on to this one.

Brandon Erikson knows he doesn’t have much chance of finding love. There aren’t a lot of opportunities for a man with a little extra padding around the waist and hectic work hours to find the man of his dreams. That is, until he slips and falls at the jazz festival and discovers that the way to a man’s heart is through sweet treats.

Dr. Nicolas Syranno is tired of dating men who order salad when he takes them out. He wants someone who takes pleasure in life the way he does, someone who isn’t toothpick thin, and someone who understands his crazy work hours as an emergency room doctor.

Both Brandon and Nick are fun, entertaining characters without much angst or depth. There is an aside with a classic homophobic doctor causing problems for not only Nick and Brandon but also others and the storyline makes an easy progression for the storyline, if a bit too easy. The men have instant sparks and immediately move to a serious relationship within hours of their first meeting. While neither man was given much more than a cursory characterization, both personalities were easily shown and lent a light hearted flavor to the story.

Overall this was an entertaining and easy read without much to recommend it as a repeat read, but the sexy chemistry and fun nature of the characters kept me reading until the end. The resolution with the other doctor was a bit too pat, but easily overlooked if you’re in the mood for a light and humorous read without many problems or deep emotions.

With a fledgling catering business to get off the ground, dozens of holiday parties to supply, staff to schedule and cookies to bake, the last thing Nick needs is an eleventh-hour event to cook for on Christmas Eve. The host, a sexy and demanding man named Darren, warns the young chef that he leads an alternative lifestyle, and seems to have more than a professional interest in Nick. Providing refreshment for Darren’s fetish party may prove more work and stress than Nick’s overloaded body can handle, or it may provide just the evening of release that he needs.

Juicy, Melty, Fun to Share is a very appropriate title for this highly erotic and sexually charged short story as all three elements are intricately woven through the story appearing in both food and sex. When Darren rushes in at the last minute to ask Nick to cater Darren’s adult party, Nick can’t help but want to please the dashing older man. Nick’s desire to please leads him in directions he couldn’t imagine at the beginning of the night but will follow his need and curiosity for this striking man.

The author’s clear and distinct voice sets the vivid scene early and it’s very easy to imagine the lush red decorations of the party and the smell and luxury of well-made leather molded to toned bodies. As told exclusively from Nick’s point of view, he goes from unwitting voyeur to interested party and finally willing participant in Darren’s intense and highly sexual games. Although there is little in the way of emotional connection between the two men, their connection is evident as is Nick’s fascination with Darren and his power-play games. Nick is given more depth in this short tale, as it’s easy to identify and understand with Darren sweeping Nick off his feet and dropping him into uncharted territory. However, Darren’s seeming detachment left him flat as a character and their interaction caused some discomfort as clearly Nick was hesitant to which Darren seemed to wave off his concerns with a lack of care and interest. Also this is not a traditional happy ever after story, but more so a brief, highly erotic sexual adventure of Nick’s.

I mostly enjoyed the story with its sexy premise and quirky character of Nick. The author’s unique style and voice was intriguing and left me wanting to read more of her work, especially a longer story with more involved and developed characters. For a quick, sexy read with some titillating BDSM, this book will cover all your desires.

Though the way these three come together is fairly predictable, it’s still a nice story to watch unfold. All have lots of baggage, but in each other’s arms they find not only super-hot loving, but also soul mates for all time. The conflict really takes a back seat in the story, and that was one of my chief complaints. Grace is a wanted woman, stalked by the evil Nakashima. And someone is kidnapping the women of Darah’s world. But none of those conflicts is ever really fleshed out. Instead, there is too much back story, right from the start, and too much narrative in which the author “tells” the story rather than “shows” it.

Ms. McBride is a talented author, and I’ll read more stories by her. But this one fell short of my usual expectations with its slower pace. Still, the detailed settings are well described, along with the multi-cultural, original characters who find their happy ending. In that respect, any reader of “Black Planet: Tiger Eyes” will be pleased.

Clair Williams is on her way to a conference when a huge semi rear-ends her, forcing her car into a steep embankment. Help comes—in more ways than one—from the sexy truck driver himself.

Can Billy afford to pleasure a woman he was hired by her ex-boyfriend to follow? The answer is yes, and he’s ready to fulfill all her needs.

But when Clair finds out the truth about Billy, will she unload him like damaged goods, or is he the help she’s been looking for all her life?

Why won’t a man leave you alone after you have dumped him? That’s Clair’s problem in a nutshell.

Clair Williams is a successful businesswoman who travels from Detroit to Toronto with surprising results. She finally dumped her boyfriend Seth Green and is looking forward to exploring who she is. Clair is afraid of trucks but the story really does not explain why. She is caught in a snowstorm and is afraid of the truck that had been following her very closely. There was a very descriptive accident as the story started that involved Clair. I had several heart stopping moments as I read of what happened. Then a mysterious man appears.

Billy Ray Andrews is more than just a truck driver. With his dark hair and dark eyes, he becomes her savior. What the commercial visually shows is romance, and advertising best price on viagra firms have male behavior down to a minimum. I did like some of the lines that Billy used such as liquor thickens the blood and will offer more protection from the cold.

Unfortunately Billy is also a private investigator who is working for Clair’s ex-boyfriend.

Things moved very quickly in the story once they patched each other up from the accident. I found the whole fixing what hurts to be an exciting adult version of playing doctor. Their relationship progresses rapidly but I had a difficult time believing they were a solid couple when Seth kept popping in to cause problems with both Clair and Billy.

Seth is a mama’s boy who can not let anything leave him. He is the one in charge and must be the one to end any relationship he wants out of. Seth had threats against Billy’s family members and continued to bother Clair to resume their relationship. He was very true to the character he played and I wanted to hear more about him.

Clair states “What more was there to life but great sex and good liquor?” How about more details of a blossoming relationship? I did like how the story played out but I wanted more flesh to Billy and Clair and more of their interactions with each other. Seduction on the 401 has a basic story with lots of hot and heavy sex. I found it worth a look at for all the possibilities that are out on the road.
