This cowboy is looking for more than just an eight-second ride.

Studs in Spurs, Book 2

Mustang Jackson does two things well—ride bulls and love women. So the injury that takes him out of the arena leaves him only one way to make a living. Unfortunately, getting paid to be a stud in front of the camera isn’t as fun as private conquests. When he catches sight of little Sage Beckett, minus the glasses, braces and pigtails he remembers, doing time in his hometown suddenly gets a lot more interesting.

Sage had a crush on Michael long before he started using that ridiculous nickname “Mustang”. Though from what she’s overheard about his string of buckle bunnies, the man more than lives up to it. In the past he always looked right through her. Now that he’s home again, she’s determined to capture and tame this wild stallion, no matter what it takes.

She intends to satisfy her curiosity and move on, but with every touch she’s less sure she’ll ever purge him from her system. Once corralled in her arms, Mustang finds himself thinking that domestication may not be so bad after all.

Except, once she finds out about his side job, she may not stick for the next go-round.

Hot diggity dog, do I love me some cowboys, and no one writes about em’ better than Cat Johnson. After reading her first in the Studs and Spurs series, Unridden, I couldn’t wait to get my fingers on the follow up, Bucked. Slade might have been the guy who got the girl in the first installment, but it’s the too hot to handle bad boy Mustang I wanted to learn more about. You know he’s a ladies’ man that get’s around, but are also aware that deep down, he’s got an enormous heart. Who doesn’t want a sexy cowboy to love?

The beginning of the story lunges at you like a bull out of the chute, with Mustang preparing to tackle the ever deadly bull Ballbreaker. Although he lasts the eight seconds, he breaks his arm in the process, and that means it’s back home to Huntsville, Texas to heal and recoup. When he arrives, he discovers the wisp of a girl who used to lend him an ear waiting to welcome him home. Only now, she’s all woman, and the feelings she inspires are anything but platonic. Sage isn’t the bottle-glasses wearing nerd Mustang remembers, and in an unexpected turn of events, she’s ready to show Mustang a bit of the attention she’s been dying to for years. ESPN.com — purchase generic viagra Extensive coverage will originate from Daytona. The format of education, like online videos, tutorials, forums, etc give a hint of how exactly the online education is more popular and http://www.devensec.com/maps/devens_water_res_map.pdf viagra sans prescription appealing to the new learners. Though the proven core-factor causing ED is hindered or lack of blood circulation to the penile shaft, it helps encourage the creation generico levitra on line Dosage and Prices of new cells that lead to bigger penis. It’s a forbidden attraction that Mustang vows not to partake in, especially when he begins to take jobs in the adult film industry to pay the bills. But desire cannot be denied, and soon, he’s fallen into the arms of a woman he could easily love.

While I did enjoy Bucked, there were portions of the story that could have been made stronger. A majority of the attention is on Mustang, his jobs in the sex business, and his unstable relationship with his father. I understood the need for this, as Mustang is the primary focus and Bucked is a continuation of Unridden. Unfortunately, in the process, Sage becomes a secondary–if not supporting–character. Granted, she is very young at twenty-years old, but her approach to many of the revelations that have kept Mustang distant is rather immediate and unbelievable. I’m not necessarily referring to the jobs on the side he wishes to keep secret, but rather her ready willingness to go along with almost anything to have him. The question becomes – why does she want him so badly? What more is there beyond a physical attraction created by a childhood infatuation?

On a more positive note, this is Mustang’s story, and you get to know a lot more about him. It’s both humorous and humbling to watch this confident man who kills the ladies getting his due from a Dominatrix. No longer is he in control of his life, his body, or his decisions. Sex in this story takes on a whole new meaning, and for someone like Mustang, that makes a lasting impression. Another point of notice is that you also get to spend time with Slade, Jenna, and Chase, which is something I always look forward to. Catching up with beloved characters is like reuniting with old friends – a win, win situation.

Fans of Ms. Johnson’s previous stories will enjoy Bucked, especially if they have a yen for Mustang like I do. The material flows nicely, the continuation is something new and unexpected, and the journey is one worth taking.

Lisa Selvey moved to Necro Bay, just on the outskirts of Chesapeake, Virginia. She moved there because of its reputation for peace and quiet. To free herself of her nightmares. But her nightmares were just beginning. . . Necro Bay was just your average American seaside town. The house she bought a normal home. The handsome man, Jacob Lindan that she met, nothing more than a sexually attractive man that whose touch made her mad with desire. Things nightmarishly changed and made her wonder if she wasn’t going mad. Even worse, it made her wonder if something lurked in the shadows.

Ever wonder if the stuff of dreams could be real? What if those creepy crawlies that hid under the bed when you were a child are real? And what if there’s a twist of romance within the scariness? Then you’d have the story of Lisa and Jacob in Unwitting Sacrifice.

Lisa sees tentacled creatures but thinks she’s hallucinating. The tentacled critters are real and want her as their next queen. The imagination used to write this story is fabulous.

There are times when the uniting between Lisa and Jacob is tender. It’s passionate. Improved sexual stamina- This is what a man needs to be taken on suggested basis, where its regular or daily practice may origin with form of side-effects. cipla tadalafil price Many good people will take advantage of or attack you again, then you can forgive without letting him know that you have done so, or levitra cost of by taking precautionary measures to protect yourself. At one point there is a character that seems almost totally out of place in the story and it takes a couple of reads to figure out how it all fits together.

While you can feel the quiet passion between them, it seems through most of the story the romance is lacking. Jacob wants Lisa because she can see him. She doesn’t understand, but she can see him. I like the scenes when he comes to her in his human form. The scenes are written with tenderness and love. But with that said, there are moments where the love and the romance feel forced and stilted. At times I wasn’t sure Lisa wanted to be in the same room with Jacob.

Sapphire Phelan writes an intriguing and very unique story. If you want a sci-fi tale to fill a cool night, then you need to read Unwitting Sacrifice, but be warned. Once you start it, you can’t put it down. I give this story 3.5 cherries.

Half dressed and going for naked…

Starlight Tyler needs to lose her virginity, as in yesterday. With her mother, a Pinkerton, and a wealthy man she doesn’t love on her tail, there’s only one place to cut their cruel intentions off at the pass—get herself back into the arms of long-lost love Cordero Tate. Pronto.

She never expected to be tripped up by someone else’s past.

Sheriff Cordero Tate is a haunted man on a mission. Come hell or high water, he’ll round up every member of the gang responsible for the deaths of his wife and unborn child…and make damned sure he never puts his heart on the line again. As in never impregnating another woman. One look at Star, though, and all the old feelings come back in a rush. Worse, she’s just as determined to brand him as hers as he is to keep her chaste.

Their exploration of ways around that impasse leads to three nights of unbearable sensual pleasure. Until her past catches up to her…

Ms. Ryan does a top rate job of transporting us to the Wild West. You experience firsthand the heat, the dust, and the old world charm of the time. The dialogue sounded real but the only problem I had and I might be wrong here, words that probably weren’t used in the 1800s were thrown in to some dialogue.

The main thing that stopped me from rating the book higher was–and I know this is meant to be an erotic romance but–I would have preferred a slower build up and more sexual tension between these two before things heated up between them.

Aside from that, the characters are likeable and you find yourself rooting for them to get beyond their issues and find the love building between them. If you want a red hot read, then this one is the one for you.

Kink and taboo are taken to new heights in this riveting story of unbridled lust and its shocking consequences. Come visit the brothel, where uninhibited sex with a shocking difference is offered in a specially constructed scarlet room.

Muriel McBain is the picture of respectability. She is a deacon of the church and an affluent member of the community. No one guesses that beneath her cool, strictly controlled exterior; there rages a repressed passion, which she attempts to satisfy with unusual masturbation methods. When this frustrated, middle-aged spinster falls in love with a much younger man, the consequences threaten to destroy her.

There’s a fine line between Desire and Depravity. You can want something without destroying it. Then again sometimes the only way to really understand what you have is to throw it away. The question is, can you get it back once it’s gone?

Iona Blair is known for her stories that teeter on the edge. This story is one of them. Now I warn you, this story isn’t for the faint of heart. Although there isn’t much that is taboo, there are some instances that will make you stop, think, and wonder. The writing is tight, but there was more than one spot where my interest wandered.

There’s an exotic dancer club and more than one person wants it closed, but not for the same reasons. Heat can act as a buy viagra cheap muscle relaxant, which is very useful in joint conditions such as arthritis. You have Chuck, the jerkish husband who’s addicted to sex, his wife, Doris, who doesn’t have the nerve to stand up to him. You also meet Muriel, the older woman who’s worried about appearances, but she’s attracted to a younger man, Darren. And Darren? He’s a dancer at the club, but he’s not only attracted to Muriel, but to another as well.

There are many plotlines going through this story and they can be hard to keep straight. But the way they come together will have you applauding. You think you know how this story will end, but then Ms. Blair hits you with a powerful ending.

I wasn’t taken by Muriel’s unwavering attraction to Darren. She acted a bit childish up until she met him. She didn’t act at all like I expected, but then it worked for the character. I thought the sex scenes between her and Darren lacked some sensuality, but it built through the story, so that helped.

Chuck turned me off from the beginning. His addiction to sex, to the detriment of his personal relationships, made him not handsome or interesting at all. But I liked how his story ended and how he learned the difference between desire and depravity.

If you want a story that will keep you thinking, then you need to read Desire and Depravity. I give this book 3 cherries.

In 1882, Eliza Walker earned money the only way she could, servicing the men of Johnson County, Wyoming…until Ben Dalton spent a night in her bed and made promises of a future. But he’s been gone three long months and her fear of abandonment weighs heavy on her heart. This time when he returns, she’ll seduce him with her feminine wiles to get him to stay?

The one you love seems to want you, but how can you be sure? He comes around, but he leaves you wondering. His words are soft and sensual, but before you can find heaven with him, he’s gone. What’s a girl to do? Become Heaven Sent Sin.

The premise of the story is simple. She needs money to survive. While using her talents to live in the late 19th century, Eliza finds the one man she wants in her bed for all times. He just isn’t ready to settle down with her.

Now I like the idea of the story – she wants to snag the man she loves, but he’s not ready to settle down. Eliza and Ben share a very special bond. You want to see them succeed at love. This is a short read, but it sizzles. Ben and Eliza share a passionate love. Although there were times when I wanted to conk him on the head for his decisions, I also wanted to shout at Eliza for acting so helpless. I like a strong heroine, but she came across as a tad too needy for my taste.

I felt the ending left a bit to be desired, but it closes the story nicely. Hayes writes a story that flows well and keeps the reader’s attention throughout. The love scenes are sensual yet hot. On the whole, a fun read.

What does a tree have to do with an erotic male/male romance? Plenty. I liked how the authors entwined sweet love and the dangers of the occult into a story that kept me in my seat until far after the last page.

There came a few times when I wanted to slug Alan for his decisions, but you have to take them in context. One man wants acceptance, while the other doesn’t know how to give it. Sometimes the best lessons in life are those learned because you got knocked on your buns. Intrigued?

Then you need to read Oshun’s Fall by Kendra Mei Chailyn.

Lots of times, we find out that what we need and what we want are two separate things. In this story, Ms Chailyn shows that even the mighty Goddesses must fall occasionally in order to realize what it’s like to be a human. Although I wished for this story to be longer in order to fully realize the characters, I like that it’s a quick read, packed with heat.

Oshun is a love goddess. She puts people together and hopes for the best. In the real world, throwing people into situations they can’t handle doesn’t always work out for the best. Through the beginning of the story, Oshun comes across as snobby. She does that she does for herpleasure. I like how she grew through the story. By the last page, I found myself rooting for her. Still, I wish there was a little more substance in the story—a fuller glimpse into her life and what made her so full of herself.

Then again, I liken it to meeting someone and thinking he’s a pauper, only to find out he’s the owner of a mega-corporation.

You can’t deny the attraction between Lutha and Oshun. From their first meeting, you see glimpses that passion lies beneath the lust. I like Ms. Chailyn’s storytelling in this respect. You felt the passion before the characters did and you knew it was real.

The consummation scenes are well written and definitely reflect the love and desire Aaron and Nathan have for one another. The author also does a nice job showing all the ways that male-male love can be interrupted: by society’s judgment, by one’s own self-doubt, even by other lovers that one meets along the way. So when these two characters finally get to be together in the end, it’s a victory the reader can savor along with them.

Unfortunately, this story is rather narrative-heavy, and there’s a lot of backstory and meticulous filling in of details by the author. I would have preferred to have the story of Aaron and Nathan unfold in real time as much as possible. So much is told through flashback and characters’ memories that I think the plot loses its impact.

Then, when Will witnesses what really happens during one of Lee’s fugues, he knows it’s much worse than Lee thinks. He’s shifter sick, and must embrace his heritage as a shifter of an unknown type, and learn to live as a Wild Thing. Or he will die… possibly in the jaws of his lover.

Geologist and paleontologist Dr Lee Porter returns to the land left him by his Aunt. All of his life, Lee has suffered what he calls fugue states, where he loses minutes or hours of time, and often seems to awaken in strange places, having no memory of what he did to get there.

In another part of the park a coyote is dying. The coyote, who tells us his name is Will, drags himself away from his pack, so he can be alone in death.
