Men are only good for one thing.

Sydney Chase may have sworn off relationships—but she still has needs. So she heads to the Panther’s Lair in search of sex: no strings, no emotions. The club owner, dark, mysterious Raimond Decoudreau, is exactly what she’s looking for—his French accent alone makes her hot. Fortunately, his mouth has other sinful talents, as well…

After just one night with Sydney, Raimond knows she’s his. And when the time is right, when she loves him in return, he’ll reveal his deepest secret. For now, he’ll enjoy pleasuring her in the most intimate of ways.

But when Sydney’s life is threatened, Raimond’s instincts take control, and she gets a glimpse at the beast within…

Danger lies in the strangest places. So does pleasure. But only if you enter into The Panther’s Lair. Enter at your own risk.

This is my first book by Esmerelda Bishop, but doggone it was hot. Whew. I felt like I was right there with Syd and Rai and I loved every minute. For a little story, there is a lot going on. This is one book, I read, but reread to make sure I hadn’t missed something.

Sydney is a damaged woman. She wants meaningless sex to prove she’s not broken or incapable of having a good time. She wants to prove she can be with a man without getting her heart involved. Psychological problems put extra commander levitra http://respitecaresa.org/32nd-anniversary-fall-luncheon-honoring-rick-cavender/ pressure on heart. Final point here is there presently exist various jobs out there lowest cost levitra for anyone interested in venturing inside the Wind Farm Jobs industry. I liked the idea. She’s trying to get past her past and her crazy ex-boyfriend. Noble thought. My only issue with her was her wishy-washy nature at times. She wants to love, but she’s not sure. Fine, but make a decision.

Raimond is interesting. He’s a shifter who doesn’t want to reveal his talents. I liked the concept of not showing his cards too early. It’s not unique, but Ms. Bishop writes it in a fresh way that made me want to keep reading. And I liked Rai’s overtly alpha tendencies. He’s not backing down to anyone. Still, there were times when I thought he gave into his fear a bit more than necessary.

Even then, it wasn’t enough to hinder the story. I enjoyed reading about Rai and Syd and wanted to know what was going on with Syd’s brother and best friend.

If you want a white hot story that will leave you wriggling in your seat and begging for more, then you need to read The Panther’s Lair. I give this book 3.5 cherries.

For Sonia, winning the Valentine’s Singles Cruise is an opportunity to escape her fantasies about Chase and find a real man to fulfill them. Evan brings her screaming orgasms, inventive sex and a new appreciation of every erotic zone in her body. After just two nights with him, there isn’t a part of her he hasn’t licked, penetrated or tormented to fulfillment.

As the relationship builds and the sex grows hotter, she finds herself pushing away memories of Chase. But on the third night of the cruise, the night of Valentine’s Day, Evan has a major surprise for Sonia—and her life is about to turn upside down.

Sonia Caffey’s been fantasizing about her boss, CEO Chase Malone for as long as she can remember. As the story opens, an office party is about to begin, but she’s reluctant to attend. However, it’s Chase who talks her into joining the fun.

Sonia’s surprised to learn that she’s won a Valentine’s Day cruise aboard Masquerade Lines. This isn’t just any cruise, but one where the guests wear masks to keep their identities a secret.

Shortly after the ship sets sail, she meets two men, Mark and Trent, who both seem very interested in her. But it’s at her assigned table that she meets a man named Evan whose cologne reminds her of Chase. The question is, can he make her forget all about Chase?

This book is a fun read. It’s a fast-paced, hot story. I really liked Sonia because she’s not the perfect woman we read about in many books. She’s your average, every day girl who most of us can identify with – a working girl who just happens to be in love with her boss, but feels he’s out of her league. However, it seems that fate is handing her a chance to have her happily ever after.

When Sonia won the prize for the cruise and stepped on board, I really wanted her to fall in love with someone who could love her back, but in the back of my mind I was also hoping Chase would realize what a great person she was and pursue her. As the book progressed and she met Evan, I guessed where the story was going and I think that’s maybe what spoiled it somewhat for me. However, having said that, maybe the authors intended us to figure out just what was happening so we could cheer just that much louder for Sonia. The dialogue is very natural sounding and the pacing just right for this short read that will have you smiling all the way to the last page.

Jonah Ballard has seven days to find a way to stop the possession trying to consume him or resign himself to preternaturally induced madness. His twin brother, Elijah, has no intention of letting that happen. Their father’s legacy has doomed them from a young age, but the brothers will have to trust each other as never before if they’re going to survive.

A chance meeting with emotionally ravaged Laurel Butler might provide the brothers part of the solution that they’ve been searching for. In the next seven days they have convince Laurel to take them into her bed, the first step toward the beginning of the end of their curse.

As the hours rush by, both old and newly formed wounds threaten to break the bond the trio is only now starting to forge. For how can a woman who has nothing to live for, who toys with death on a daily basis, and who doesn’t know how to save herself, save them?

Sometimes, you’ll come across a story that has an amazing premise that you can’t wait to read. Such was the case for me with Interdependence. Dee Carney writes incredible characters, and I couldn’t wait to delve into this world in which light battles dark and a woman is the only salvation for two brothers who are doomed in her absence.

When we meet Laurel, she’s in a bad place in her life — emotionally and financially. So when she meets Elijah, who offers to buy her a hot meal, she eventually caves. His offer for a job follows shortly after and she finds herself driving to his home with his business card, unsure and uncertain. Shortly thereafter she meets Jonah, Elijah’s twin, and after being shown around and told her duties, she quickly settles in. What she isn’t aware of is the darkness that Jonah struggles against, a power so consuming that soon he will lose all control. Elijah has managed to work out what he believes is a plan to save his brother, which involves Laurel, but he’s not sure of the part she will play — or how to go about banishing the darkness using her presence. Together, they begin revealing more and more about each other and, in the process, unravel the mystery.

The beginning of this story got me hook, line, and sinker. I was curious about Laurel and these two men who continued to struggle against this mysterious force. All are complex and the way they open themselves to one another is timed extremely well, so that there is a necessary and believable amount of growth. That is why it makes you keep up browse this buy cialis brand all night long. Is it fair? From a coaching viagra cipla india standpoint, probably not. Unfortunately, as the story progressed, this steady pace began to shift and their feelings came on so quickly that I wasn’t entirely certain I believed them. Not to mention, the light/dark forces were partially versus fully explained, leading to moments of confusion regarding the source of the darkness and what will ultimately occur when it takes over.

Another issue is that while Interdependence is technically PNR/Fantasy, the heroes are, for the most part, normal men. Elijah’s ability to perceive emotion could be construed as something paranormal (as could his brothers darkness), but not to the effect that say shifter stories are in relation to falling in love with a mate or partner over the course of a few days. While the bond Laurel, Elijah, and Jonah form is understandable, those deeper emotions they all proclaim to feel (including Laurel) seemed a trifle rushed as a result. There was also another element that I’m hesitant to reveal as it could be construed as spoiler, but suffice it to say that Laurel is a woman who deals with her inner torment and pain in a very dangerous and dark manner, yet, I felt that it was slightly out of place as it’s mentioned, used as a catalyst for possible tension (although it is used as a tool to bring two of the characters closer together, which is only fair to mention), but is forgotten by the story’s conclusion.

There are great things to be said about Interdependence, however. Ms. Carney has a very distinctive voice that I enjoy very much, and her ability to lure the reader into her worlds allows them to feel as if they are experiencing the story versus reading it. Her descriptions are vivid, and her dialogue is always witty (one memorable scene with Laurel, Jonah, and a sharp object, had me laughing aloud). The writing is spot-on, which is always important, and the pace doesn’t relent from start to finish, so there is no desire to put the story away and return to it later.

I enjoyed the emotional interactions between Elijah and Jonah, as well as those which occur as Elijah, Jonas, and Laurel create a tentative balance. There is a lot of heart here, especially as they face a future in which the fall of one brother will bring about the destruction of the other. As Elijah and Jonas continue fighting the good fight, you’ll cheer for them, cry for them, and when things take the downward turn you know has to happen, you’ll rally for them. That is always a fundamental part of an engaging and entertaining story, and Interdependence delivers.

Fans of unique paranormal erotic romance are sure to enjoy Interdependence. There is enough sizzle to keep you hot around the collar and enough mystery to keep you reading to find out what happens next. If you’re searching for a steamy ménage, this is just the ticket.

Aric thinks he’s losing his mind when a lioness appears in an alleyway to defend him from some thugs—when she turns into a gorgeous woman, he’s even more confused. Before he can even ask her name, though, she disappears.

That night, the gorgeous woman shows up at his apartment and tells him that he’s her mate—the man meant to stay with her for all eternity. The passion blazes between them, but they have to make a choice—for them to be together, Aric has to accept immortality and Menhit must agree to leave her home in the immortal realm, never to return.

When Egyptian goddess Menhit – who also happens to be a gorgeous shape shifter – saves bicycle messenger Aric from two attackers in a back alley, it’s only a matter of time before these two discover amazing passion together. Though Aric doesn’t realize it at first, Menhit knows they are destined to be soulmates. Later that night, she comes to his apartment, where they share the first of many incredible days and nights together. The intimacy between them is well drawn and naturally developed. Though Menhit is perhaps a little too quick to claim Aric as her mate, based on nothing more than a feeling, I was glad to see that the author did allow these characters’ feelings to grow so that a forever-relationship doesn’t feel rushed or forced.

The scenes where Aric introduces Menhit to modern-day conveniences like the TV and telephone were both humorous and believable, and we get to see him in his everyday job as well. I was given a small packet or I can call it a sachet of Kamagra Oral Jelly and I guess it is tadalafil 25mg also testament that too much of anything is not necessarily a good thing. There aren’t too many secondary characters, but they are believable as well. The bike messenger job does pose unanticipated danger, though, as someone is trying to hurt or maybe even kill Aric. Thankfully, Menhit’s sixth sense saves him more than once, which adds a charming element to the story, where heroine saves hero instead of the other way around. The conflict in this story, though, is a little undeveloped and not entirely convincing. It’s pretty obvious from the start who wants Aric out of the way, and even the black moment of the story isn’t as climactic as it could have been.

Aside from this, the passion between these two central characters is what drives the story. When both realize they cannot live without the other, the conclusion to Love’s Fiery Arrow is sweet and satisfying – and a little bit hot as well!

He will have his heir, one way or another. Marianne’s grandfather charges his stable master with the task, and Marianne is bound to her bed every third night to await the burly man.

Michael Ainsworth is no stud horse, and Baron Thurlow’s task is too ghastly to consider. But Michael longs for a glimpse of the pretty girl who used to cling to the paddock fence to watch the horses. When he finds her terrified and unwilling, his honor demands he protect her—despite the heartbreaking knowledge the viscountess can never love a lowly servant.

Marianne is caught in a compromising situation with another woman. Her husband, Viscount Cobham, is livid and sends her off to stay with her grandfather, Baron Thurlow. He was my favorite character in the book; maybe because all the other characters besides Marianne were villains in the story and you hope for a happy ending for these two people because they really deserve it. And I always enjoy a book where the two main characters have past history.

On the positive side, the characters were well drawn, the dialogue natural sounding for the time and setting…however, and here’s what spoiled the story for me: In giving them their happily ever after ending, I felt the author tried to tie up all the loose ends too quickly. I would have liked to have seen one problem resolved and then more story where you worry about the next hurdle they have to overcome. I don’t want to give away any of the final scenes, but the way the problems were resolved seemed contrived. Maybe Claiming Lady Marianne should have been a longer story. One in which Marianne and Michael used their own means and skills to get their perfect and happy ending. However, if you enjoy erotic romances set in the Regency period, this is worth a read.

This anthology is jam packed with paranormal activity. From ghosts to vampires and shifters, to other things I can’t really explain, this story has something for any paranormal lover.

All of these stories had a nice plot and explosive sexual encounters. I was actually impressed on how much of a plot the authors were able to incorporate into the short stories. Whether it just be a strong romantic plot or a plot with an equally strong subplot these authors really did a great job making these erotic stories and not just sex scenes. With five different stories in this story anthology that is not a small feat.

Nisha had no idea of the power she wielded, but when she found out about them she was more than eager to test the theory on Slade and Bennet. The one thing that I did find uncomfortable was the fact that Slade and Bennet were brothers. I am usually all for a threesome, but this was the first I’ve read with siblings being the partners. Although they did not touch each other sexually the fact that they both were sleeping with the same woman at the same time was a bit uncomfortable. I did enjoy the power that Nisha wielded over the two men. I have heard plenty of times that woman can control the worlds with the power we hold between our legs, but Nisha brought it to a whole new level.

Catching Adan by Michelle Hasker

This story was a nice quick read. Rayna was deeply in love with her best friend Adan and did not know how to tell him, but could not hold back her feelings any longer. What she didn’t know was that Adan harbored a deep secret that would change her mind and her heart. I have always believed that friends sometimes make the best lovers so this story hit home for me.

Special Training by Selena Illyria

With a mentor like Viktor how could any girl concentrate? Although Michelle was supposed to be training, all she really wanted was a little bedroom practice time with vampire mentor, Viktor. One thing that I would like to have seen done differently was, in the beginning the fantasy Michelle had about Viktor is the same exact thing he did. She wanted him to spank her. Although short, this story was detailed and intriguing. Alain is a shifter that all of Tanama’s people fear. Unlike the others, though, Tanama does not fear the longarou, and instead sets a plan in motion to seduce him. What she doesn’t realize is that it will take little persuasion for him to accept the invitation and to also give her more than she has ever imagined.

Sweetby B.J. McCall

This story is so sweet I was glad it was a short story because I wasn’t sure my heart could take any more. Poor Bayle did not know what to do with herself after her husband passsed away. He was taken from her so quickly and so young her heart would not allow her to let him go. When she gets trapped at work after an earthquake the only thing she can do is think about how she would not be in that predicament had it not been for him leaving her. Except he has not completely left, because her heart cries out for him so loudly he is unable to move on. I would recommend you have a tissue with you when reading this story because you will be brought to tears.

Deep Feeling by Kira Stone

Since all of the other stories were M/F this M/M story was a nice surprising end to this anthology. Since the story is about a god and a vampire you knew it was going to be fun. Shane accidently found himself at the bottom of the ocean only to be rescued by Agoue. Agoue assumed Shane was a sacrifice sent to him and once he saw Shane, he had every intention of not only accepting his sacrifice but keeping him around for a long time. Since they both had a higher tolerance for pain than humans the sex got wild, crazy and oh so spicy. What a great ending.

Because of the various author’s abilities to incorporate good plots with some interesting characters in such short stories I rate this anthology a 3.5.

This book is a very intense read and, at times, seemed a little drawn out for me. I liked the fire that Amanda begins with, but she seems to quickly lose it every time the men use sex on her. I wished that she would stand up for herself more than she does. Amanda always starts out fighting, but always ends up giving in to whatever the men want to do to her. Amanda quickly loses herself to her hormones every time a brother is near and she knows it, yet never really fights it. It was nice to see how Amanda wins over each brother but when you add in the many other characters and scenarios in this story, it begins to get tedious and overwhelming.

That said, Amanda can be a smart and spirited woman who fights for what she wants. I enjoyed the love that forms between all the brothers and Amanda. Each brother holds a special place in Amanda’s heart and it was nice to see that she holds a special place in each of theirs as well. Cody, Knox and Jace are all hot and wonderful in their own way, but I would have to say that Jace with his sweetness and caring is my favorite brother. I liked seeing the bond that the brothers have be put to the test and see that it stands up, showing that their family bond is a strong one.

Some of the secondary characters like Cindy and Tony caught my eye as well while reading this story, and I would enjoy finding out more about their relationship. If you enjoy an intense erotic read than this may be the book for you.

Olav is the healer sent from Kylie’s dimension to help her recover her energy. He is strong but gentle, and has been in love with Kylie for a while. It takes both men to restore Kylie to health, and Dalton is at first uncomfortable with the other man in the picture, but soon realizes to have Kylie, he will accept Olav as well.

This story had promise, but I was not sure where it was headed at times. The sex was hot and heavy, but there seemed to be less emphasis on finding the woman than on how many times they could make Kylie orgasm. Then, near the end of this, a new element was added with little warning. A new enemy is introduced and is also seeking the same woman, so the story becomes a different one altogether.

I really did enjoy these characters and so can only hope that this story continues, as this installment ends without a real resolution to the search, although Kylie, Dalton and Olav do resolve their issues and form a trio to continue the search. I would say that these need to be read in order to thoroughly enjoy the story and grasp the full idea behind it.

Move over vibrator, Angel’s found herself a real man—a tall, sinfully handsome Texan who won’t stop buzzing at her command. Then again, the Italian baker her father hired has an evil edge that might fulfill her darker desires.

Tanner came to New York City to find a woman angelic enough to bring home and marry, yet wild enough to accept his wicked needs in the bedroom. Angel may be a virgin but her eyes flare at the sight of a rope, and she loves following commands. If the odd vibrator with a bunny riding shotgun was his only competition, he’d have no problem getting her on a plane to Texas. But her meddling father, an Italian stallion and Angel’s need to give up control might be more than he can handle.

Tanner has come to New York City to find himself a woman to marry. A woman who can take his wild side and love him all the more for it. During his stay he bumps into Angel. Is she the woman Tanner is looking for? Before he even starts, Tanner must deal with Angel’s father and the young man he has brought back from Italy to seduce her. Will Tanner’s love be enough to save Angel from her Hell?

This is a story about finding love and trust when you least expect it. I enjoyed Tanner, the hero of this story, but I found it hard to connect with the heroine, Angel. Tanner is a strong and honorable man who ends up giving more than he thought he would when he goes to New York. Angel came off as a very naive and simple woman. At times I just wanted to shake her and try to get her to understand. Everyone around her plays her including her father and his Italian baker Antonio. Even after she realizes this, she lets the using continue. Angel has a problem understanding and facing her desires and the way she deals with it puts her in danger. The tentative bond that she and Tanner begin to have is stretched to the limit.

I enjoyed reading about the love that Tanner has for Angel. He gives Angel his whole heart and shows her he can satisfy her desires. A word of caution: this book has some intense scenes that some readers may find offensive. Angel is taken farther than she should by Antonio and his friend. Angel’s reaction and reasoning may take some readers aback as well. I found her a bit too naïve for my taste.

Tanner’s Angel was well written and it’s clear the author has talent, even when I had some problems with the story itself. Doreen Orsini is quite a good writer and I would love to read another book by her to see if it would be more to my liking.
