The one problem I found in the story was at times I felt the characters point of view was unclear. It jumps between the two characters quite a bit. I was still able to follow along and it didn’t deter me from reading or enjoying the story.

Overall I liked this book and would recommend it. This is definitely a heartwarming love story between two men who have been knocked down by life but never let it keep them down. I found myself rooting for these two to have their happy ending. Serena Yates is an excellent author and wrote a very touching love story.

Even though this story is essentially short and fast paced, the connection between the three principals is palpable. I wanted to see what would happen between Maggie, Van, and Sascha. Yeah, I needed a cool drink by the time I finished the story. Just when I thought they couldn’t do anything else, bam, another twist I didn’t see.

If you want a book that’s heavy on heat, then you need to read Tattoo Dream. It’s guaranteed to singe your screen.

This is a very hot book, filled with as many fantasies as the author could pack in here. I felt a bit overwhelmed at times by all that was going on. I was a bit uncomfortable in a couple of spots, but I did enjoy the happy ever after that Mandy finally found. The writing is brisk and kept me turning pages to see what would happen next. I felt like I was right there with Jonathon trying to see the woman with the dark silky hair.

This story brings the heat. Jonathon is captivated by the woman dancing in the glen. I loved the abandon with which he pursued her. I got to see what it was like to be in his head, processing what he went through. It was different and unique.

When I thought the story would go one way, D.C. Juris took it a totally different way that had me guessing what would happen to Tristan and Jinsu. Kudos. By the way, I loved Agnes. She’s a pip and a welcome giggle in the story.

I did say this was a short story. So there are times when it’s a little thin on details, but rest assured, the story is fantastic as is. Sure, I want to know what’s going to happen next. I’m on the edge of my seat waiting and yes, D.C. Juris, you have a fan for life.

If you want a story that will tug at the heartstrings and make you squirm in your seat, then you need to read The Door Under the Bridge. It’s worth a second, third, and fourth reading.

Vampire Chantel Mathis, aka Karma, is an assassin who always gets her werewolf. Tonight she’s posing as an interior decorator applying for a position at Aubrey Enterprises. Her interviewer and mark is Ren Aubrey, the delectable CEO and owner. Though Ren plays the role of savvy businessman to perfection, Karma knows there’s more there than meets the eye. This werewolf is really an assassin so deadly that the vamps have nicknamed him Slayer.

What Karma doesn’t know is that Ren is exactly her type. Worse, he’s onto her. So the moment he steps into the room, she struggles not only to keep her wits about her, but to keep her distance. It doesn’t help that Ren is every bit as beguiled and perfectly willing for their business relationship to be much more. Will Karma be able to resist Slayer’s many charms? Or will their night of passion turn deadly?

When could sex with a gorgeous man who not only has a perfect body but the stamina of the energizer bunny possibly be bad? How about when he’s a killer of your kind and your next target for assassination. Talk about sleeping with the enemy!

Karma has just about had enough of the rich, shifter Ren Aubrey AKA Slayer. He’s murdered over fifty of her sister assassins and it’s time someone put this dog down. Assassins in Lace: Impressions is a very quick and very graphic story. This tale isn’t for the modest or easily embarrassed. Out of thirty-seven pages, about twenty are filled with detailed sexual content. While I can’t find fault in the author’s writing, I would have liked to see a little more plot. Other than some basic information, I really didn’t get to know the characters very much, particularly Ren. I think some emotions were a little rushed, but in this short of a story, there isn’t a lot of time to delve into character and plot development. Overall, it was a fun read and definitely got my motor running.

For a fast, fun story with lots of hot sex, pick up a copy of Assassins in Lace: Impressions. I guarantee you’ll finish the book with a smile and have a sudden need to go find your main squeeze for a little fun of your own.
