When hunky aspiring country singer Billy Eagan heads to Nashville in search of his big break, a relationship and love are the furthest things from his mind. Taking a foreman’s job at the Lazy H ranch and not knowing how he will be accepted, Billy decides to fly under the radar and stay as closeted as he can without denying who he really is. It’s immediately confirmed that he made the right decision when he discovers that homophobia is still alive and well in Tennessee.

Then Billy gets his break and meets gorgeous record label executive Ian Dillon. Their worlds collide both professionally and personally, and Billy falls hard. But Ian is still haunted by the mysterious betrayal of his one and only lover, and knowing Billy possesses the power to emotionally destroy him, Ian decides to cut his losses and simply walk away. Determined not to give up on the man he loves, Billy secretly starts to unravel the past and quickly finds that it’s not what it appears. Can Billy rescue Ian’s heart, or will bigotry and hatred win over love?

Nashville and all her glory, fame, and broken dreams are featured in Final Encore. The descriptions of the town, her people, and an extraordinary love story compelled me to look further into this seemingly magical place. I was impressed by the quality of Mr. Cade’s first published book, and look forward to more from this author.

Admittedly I’m completely ignorant of the country music scene and the artists mentioned in the book. I did however, enjoy the time spent checking out the songs referenced by the author. Each song Mr. Cade mentioned held a special significance for the setting or emotion he intended to portray. I was enraptured while listening to Bless the Broken Road, by Rascal Flatts, and teared up picturing Billy singing this song to Ian. Since discount generic levitra itself has generated its use so much in almost every region of the country to live their lives in a fulfilled and a contrasting way. Watching Too Much Pornography learningworksca.org online cialis pills A survey in 2013 disclosed that men who watch porn per hour, suffer from low self esteem, poor performance in bed and low sexual drive or loss of libido. Both men had suffered so much to get to where they were, and that song was an absolutely brilliant illustration of their journey to find each other.

The protagonists were both very strong, successful, yet damaged men. I truly felt a connection to Billy as he demonstrated his love and devotion to Ian in such romantic ways. Ian’s character was a refreshing break from the traditional role of submissive, exhibiting strength that really amazed me. The dialogue between these two men really allowed me to get into their heads and understand their actions and emotions. Their lovemaking was smoking hot at times, and tender at others. Both were wonderfully written and conveyed their affection well.

I loved the attention to detail as the author highlighted Nashville’s natural beauty. The detail continued by mentioning many artists, songs, and places that would have enhanced the effect of the book if I would have been familiar with these things. I felt like the author skipped several important steps, explaining things retroactively in places. For instance, the “no labels” rule was mentioned without a conversation occurring between the two men to explain why the rule was in place.

I’m genuinely happy I had the opportunity to review this book. Mr. Cade certainly knows how to write an enchanting tale with a storyline and characters that are enjoyable to read. I recommend this book to any M/M romance reader, especially if you are a country music fan. I’ll end this review with my favorite quote from Final Encore: “In that moment, looking into Ian’s eyes was like seeing everything: the sun, the stars, the universe, past the universe.”

Owen is character that is easy to relate to. He is suffering from what a lot of people go through: the inability to get over his first love. I love how both characters were clueless to the others suffering. They were both too caught up in their own broken hearts to reach out to the other. The only part I found hard to believe was that these two men couldn’t locate one another, but being a short story you don’t get a lot of back story so you don’t know where these characters lived or exactly how much distance separated them over the years.

This was definitely a fast paced read. It had a good flow that carried until the very end. It covered all the bases for an excellent story, conflict, resolve, passionate sex, and the hope for a future with the characters.

If you’re looking for a quick to the point read with hot sex mixed in, this is the story for you.

The Golden Rule in being a Bodyguard 101: Never get involved with a client no matter how unbelievably sexy she might be.

Personal bodyguard Jax Irizarry retired from the business ten years ago and opened up his own company called Alpha Male Incorporated. He was content no longer being thrown into the danger zone and got enough pleasure from working behind a desk. So, why did this best friend Frank Chantel want to hire him to protect his goddaughter/singer Sahara ‘Coco’ Chantel?

Sahara Chantel reluctantly agreed to a bodyguard to please her uncle. She was more focused on getting her singing career off the ground not an overzealous fan. Anyway, it wasn’t like she was going to be attracted to her bodyguard because weren’t most of them older men with gray hair?

Sahara’s preconceived notions about bodyguards were shot to hell when she walked inside her den and spotted the tall, blond and sexy Jax Irizarry waiting for her.

Sahara has always been in control when it comes to her singing career. Her bodyguard, Jax, has a job to do and that doesn’t include letting Sahara take unnecessary risks. The two may have different ideas when it comes to Sahara’s safety, but they both agree when it comes to the attraction they feel for each other.

Ms. Rochelle has penned a terrific novella that is very interesting with an attention grabbing premise. The reader should be advised, however, to pay close attention to the timeline in the story. Weeks or months can pass when it seemed like just days. The paranormal element of the story is nice and adds some spice and tension to the story. It could have been more fully explored but maybe Ms. Men who care about their pocket appalachianmagazine.com buy generic viagra can grab the opportunity to buy Kamagra with lots of profit. Several months later, she’d had no calls and was http://appalachianmagazine.com/page/32/ sildenafil online no prescription considering delaying her retirement because she could not afford the housing bill. Rochelle plans to continue Jax and Sahara’s story in the next book. The author supports the story through important details, though they sometimes felt random in placement.

Jax is in a true life or death situation when it comes to claiming his mate, but it’s also important to understand that Sahara has a choice. Too often in shifter/mate stories there is no choice so this was a nice change that I enjoyed.

The characters themselves are well developed and easy to picture. Readers should have no problem connecting to Sahara’s fame and hardworking lifestyle thanks to the author’s vivid writing. Jax’s character is very Alpha male and as such could be a little off-putting in the way he expects Sahara to obey his commands. Ms. Rochelle painted Sahara to be a strong self-reliant woman and who resists obeying him in the beginning. There are a couple of surprises at the end with a “to be continued” type ending that should carry over nicely into the next story. There is plenty of suspense and action in this short to keep the reader entertained to the end.

This is the first in a series of stories about the men of Alpha Male Incorporated. The secondary characters definitely have stories that need to be told and the next in this series is sure to give them their time in the ‘spotlight’ while tying up some loose ends from this one. Anyone who enjoys an erotic romance with a bit of the paranormal and a strong Alpha male lead should read this book.

This is my first chance to read a story by Nancy Lee Badger and I’m glad I did. This story has an interesting plot that drew me in from the moment I read the blurb. I love a story with military hunks and this one is chock full of them.

What took away from the story for me was a couple things. The pacing is really fast. We fly from one scene to the next, and the whirlwind fashion of the pairing of Jayne and Chris was almost a little hard to fathom. I’m a sucker for love at first sight, but I had a hard time buying into the swiftness of the courtship. The scene at the wedding was hot, but I had to go back three times to make sure I knew what was going on. Another thing that was a little tough to get past was Chris. I understood why he acted as he did, but I didn’t feel like I really got to know him. He’s a total hunk, I wanted more about him.

Still, this is a sweet little holiday read that’s sure to warm your heart and warm your libido. If you’re looking for such a story, then you need to grab a copy of Unwrapping Chris. 3 cherries.

Lindsay Tanner arrives at Purgatory, a private nightclub north of Darkisle, to study the strange clientele who frequent it. Though she believes the people there are simply indulging in sexual fetishism, she is in for a shock when she realizes that they really are what they pretend to be: vampires. She also does what no researcher should do and becomes involved with two men, Caine and Gabriel, vampires who share an unusual bond.

Both have secrets, and each seems out to destroy the other. Lindsay must find a way to bring them together and resolve her attraction to—not to mention satisfy her lust—for both of them.

If denial is a river in Egypt then I have no doubt Lindsay Tanner is its queen. Lindsay is a doctorate student that has decided to make “The Truth About Vampires” her thesis. She has been interested in those men and women whom, she reasons, go to extremes to pretend to be the mythical creatures. Lindsay’s plan is simple: infiltrate the secretive club where the “vampires” play, blend, take notes and leave. The plan does not include becoming involved with a vampire wannabe much less two.

Caine and Gabriel display all the appropriate signs of vampirism (affinity for biting and blood drinking, aversion to daylight, unnaturally cold skin…) but it’s not until she sees them as sleeping dead that she is finally convinced they are more than role playing Goth vampire posers.

Ms. Pierce has written a terrific follow-up to her first Darkisle story, Heirs To Darkisle. Lindsay is a pretty normal woman who simply must be convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that the men she has agreed to go home with are indeed vampires. She’s grown up in an average town and is ready to find some excitement and her doctoral thesis assignment provides a means to an end. Lindsay’s naïveté was fun to watch from a distance since I knew going in that Caine and Gabriel were indeed vampires. The reader is treated to watching her gradually take in the big picture and come to the realization that Caine and Gabriel are more than ever imagined. Along the way, she takes some pretty scary risks that most thinking women wouldn’t take, considering she doesn’t really know these men and suspects they may be a little mentally unstable but this is a romance story so everything works to the advantage of the story and the building relationship.

Speaking of Caine and Gabriel, they are very much the anti-hero yet they command the attention of the audience. They have a volatile history that spans more than 150 years and many shared women but Lindsay is the first in a long time. I liked how Ms. Pierce created two very unique vampire characters. Caine is controlled and has accepted his limitations as a vampire. Gabriel still has resentment and anger that he has never dealt with regarding being turned. They both feel an attraction to Lindsay that seems to go beyond the physical.

Loving Two Vampires is a pretty quick read that kept me engaged all the way through. The story is well developed and the characters have lovely chemistry. If you like a little darkness and angst with your vampire story, you should consider picking up a copy of Loving Two Vampires. You won’t be disappointed.

A quick trip to visit her hospitalized mother is lasting longer than Anna had expected. About twelve weeks longer. It’s not that she isn’t used to taking care of her mom—Anna took over that job when her father died—but it’s a little stressful vying for partnership in her New York law firm from Liberty, Alabama. Fortunately the neighbor, a hot Southern charmer, is willing to help her take the edge off.

Since Trey breached her defenses, he and Anna have been burning up the sheets…and the side of the house…and the garden. The woman he’s coming to know is a far cry from the uptight lawyer he first met. And he likes the new Anna. A lot.

As her feelings for Trey deepen, Anna is torn between duty and desire…what she wants versus what she thinks she needs. Returning to New York, reverting to the formidable attorney her father molded, is the responsible thing to do.

Too bad that’s not the woman Trey wants…

Despite the sexual heat and hot love scenes, this story is, at heart, a romance. Parental meddling causes a change in our heroine’s point of view and allows her to reclaim part of her “lost self”. Not only that, but it gave her the opportunity to connect with the hero, re-explore connections with childhood friends, and basically, re-discover her “southern side”. The story’s eventual outcome is predictable – even the twists and turns and the obstacles thrown into our main character’s lives, are expected. The wonderful, unexpected twist was even though I knew it was following the “romance novel” formula, I enjoyed the story, rooting for Anna and Trey to reunite after their “bump in the road”.

The payoff for me was the happy tears that came to my eyes when they had their final reunion at the story’s resolution.

One unexpected twist was an additional obstacle for Anna and Trey to overcome. It added a sense of confusion to the reader and made me want to keep reading. I wasn’t quite sure what was up, and the resolution was quite nice to read!

The intimate scenes were plentiful and hot (and admittedly, made me daydream about a southern handyman of my own…), but don’t think that’s all he’s good for! Our hero has a sense of humor and a healthy work ethic. It makes for a drool-worthy hero! The sexual tension between the hero and heroine is consistent throughout the book. I think the most original phrase describing Anna’s reaction to Trey was ”Her girly bits stood up and cheered…”.

I found the sections of the book where our heroine was soul-searching and trying to plan her life very difficult to get through. They are necessary for plot development, but you just want to get back to her interactions with the hero.

Honest, realistic characters, spicy sex scenes, and a sweet ending. What more could you want from your romance? Grab it when you get a chance!.

I read Flogger Holiday Sale: Dominate Me and I really enjoyed the relationship between Paul and Nash. I loved that I got the chance to see them again.

The Dom, Nash is the tough guy. No one crosses him. He’s got a reputation to live up to. I liked that he was so up front and blunt, but I actually found myself more than once not really liking him. The fact that I was so emotionally involved is the mark of a good story in my opinion. And yeah, I thought about him far after the last page of the book.

The virgin, Paul, has only ever been taken by Nash. He trusts Nash. Really. The trust is a plus and minus for this man. I can’t say it was fun to read the series of emotions Paul goes through in this story. There were moments where my heart bled for the guy. Again, I thought about him long after the last page and if I could’ve stepped into the pages, I might have.

The sex in this story both repels and sizzles. Confused by that statement? Well then you need to read Love Revisited: Nash and Paul to find out more. I’m not telling any spoilers, but I guarantee it’ll be worth your read.
