The very next morning, when Arran receives the call to hit the big time, he vanishes into the world of California rock and roll to become an international star, leaving her behind. Only a few phone calls keep them in touch — until his phone is disconnected. After that, all she has of him is every new song that hits the charts.

Five years later, she gets a message on the Internet from an unfamiliar address. Someone wants to know if she’s the Leyla of Bele Chere. Should she open that door and discover who this might be? Who else could it be? And if it is Arran, why does he want to contact her now, after all this time? Will he just break her heart again?

Arran sets up a special concert, and she goes there as a journalist. What’s going to happen when they lay eyes on each other again? The suspense is great.  The setting is descriptive and their relationship believable.

Her best revenge is to say “I do”.

By night Ellie Vyne fleeces unsuspecting aristocrats as the dashing Count de Bonneville. By day she avoids her sisters’ matchmaking attempts and dreams up inventive insults to hurl at her childhood nemesis, the arrogant, far-too-handsome-for-his-own-good, James Hartley.

James finally has a lead on the villainous, thieving Count, tracking him to a shady inn. He bursts in on none other than “that Vyne woman”…in a shocking state of dishabille. Convinced she is the Count’s mistress, James decides it’s best to keep your enemies close. Very close. In fact, seducing Ellie will be the perfect bait…

Review: What a naughty tangled weave this story has! And when the hero loses his memory it’s positively hilarious! The Wicked Wedding of Miss Ellie Vyne is a romp on the adventurous side as the lead characters take turns trying to outwit the other with hysterical results.
The medicine is an absolute combination of sildenafil citrate which promotes strong blood flow in the body. india cheap cialis It viagra online for women is the most common sexual condition in young as well as in older male personalities. The quality of life of cancer patients has been vastly improved as a result viagra soft tablet find out that of this advancement. There is my list viagra online france of three common causes for lack of sex desire in men.
Ms. Fresina has created an amazing array of fascinating and lively characters that tickle the funny bone. The hero, James, is a man slow on the uptake as to what Ellie, the heroine, is really up to. Once he figures it out, the game is afoot and his pursuit of Ellie turns quite serious indeed.

Ellie, on the other hand, thinks she’s clever at outwitting everyone, especially the males of the ton. Her character is fun, irreverent, imaginative, and spunky and has a very long memory of past slights. Her motivation is a bit suspect as I don’t think she ever fell out of love with the handsome James. The drama and suspense comes from the heroine finding out that her clever ploy and secret life wasn’t so clever or secret after all. In fact, what came to light was so totally unexpected and astonishing, I was left gaping like a fish.

Thank goodness James wasn’t a shallow or unforgiving man. He had a huge decision to make – does he stand by Ellie or let the revelation ruin both their futures. I’m glad to say that James made an excellent hero, faults, silly nicknames and all.

What I liked the most was watching James and Ellie discover each other as they learned what made them the people they were. The hottest part was when they embarked on the physical exploration of their budding love. It was at times tender, sometimes bordering on silly and ended up being some of the most adventurous moments in the book. The sensuous nature of their courtship was fully explored but whenever I got to the part where James said, “Are you ready for your first servicing?” I just about melted on the spot. What came after that sentence made me blush and grin at the same time. Those scenes were well written, delightful and entertaining. Ms. Fresina has a great imagination and it shows with the full-bodied writing found within this novel’s pages.

Wait until readers get their first introduction to Lady Mercy. I think she’s a book in the making. Then there are secondary characters like Mrs. Flick that certainly stirred the conflict but no one comes close to making the conflict explode like James’ grandmother. What a harridan! But nothing can top the emotional plot twist of the surprise he had for the old woman. If she thought that his intention of marrying Ellie was bad, his secret was even more profound.

Gratefully, all the conflict threads are tied together in one big sparkly naughty bow and Ms. Fresina provided a happy ever after like no other. It was just as scandalous, daring and bold as their entire courtship was. If a reader is looking for a sexy courtship, a saucy heroine being courted by a very determined hero hampered by so many mix-ups, cross purposes and a bit of daring do rescues, look no further than this well written and completely entertaining novel called The Wicked Wedding of Miss Ellie Vyne. It’s romance with cheek and I loved every page of it.

She fights for them, their rights, and he fights for her to stay…In a world where opposites prove to be deadly, Myla and Damon beat the odds and find a love that’s powerful enough to bring two very different lives together…Primitive Nights is dangerous, delightful, and powerful.

Myla works for a company that Damon’s people don’t like. Myla is innocent as they come, but she’s taken captive anyway. I love her character. She’s strong, fierce, independent and is a true believer. Many women may not have survived the ordeal that Myla goes through, but she comes out tougher than ever. And no matter what, she sticks to her guns.

Damon doesn’t want to, but he feels something for Myla. She’s beyond a threat to his kind, if only he could prove to others just what he feels. Damon is a great hero, a perfect match for Myla, but the odds they must overcome to be together are very high. The world is stacked against them.

The pace, setting and flow is this story were fairly constant. The characters were well fleshed out, although at times, they didn’t appear to be three dimensional and I couldn’t connect. Overall, this story engaged me and kept me turning the pages. I’d like to see more from this author, as this book grabbed my attention. I love a story where different cultured people come together despite everything. There’s action, adventure, love and so much more that make Primitive Nights a great read. Why not spend your night reading this book?

Serena McKay believes that paranormal activity isn’t magical or mystical, but that it all can be explained with logical, scientific rationale. Carter Shehan drove Serena insane. She was convinced he was a hack, leading people on and deluding them with stories of the paranormal, giving them false hope when sanity and logic was behind all his outlandish claims. Still, fire burned between them both. Carter was more than intrigued, he found himself captivated by her passion. Coming to one of Serena’s lectures and signings, he listened to her, riveted, then happily gets her to sign his book. They clash swords admirably. It’s only after this initial meeting, when they decide to stay at the same Manor house – Serena to disprove the ghost stories and Carter to prove the tales – that the sparks really begin to fly. Passion ignites between the two.

This story was a lot of fun, with plenty of spice, passion and more than a few lost tempers in the fray. It’s not your regular sweet story of two gentle people. Yet the author writes the book with such style and light heartedness none of the passionate arguments could be taken to heart.  It’s clear the sparks are repressed sexual tension and a whole lot of chemistry blazing between Serena and Carter. With a feel-good atmosphere and the backdrop of a spooky, haunted house – complete with spirits/ghosts – there’s plenty of things going bump in the night.

I really enjoyed this book.  It’s a fresh read that had me smiling and laughing aloud in places. I really enjoyed how Serena and Carter didn’t just meet, their gazes catching and fall instantly in love – this was something they both worked at, fought against and eventually capitulated to with relish. It was a lovely change and very well executed.

I liked the way the author conceptualized the story combining the present and past of the hero and heroine’s relationship. Nevertheless, I preferred a little bit more exploration of the past part of the story, because it had my favorite elements in romance novels — opposites attracts, and in this case it was a jock and a nerd falling in love.

The part of the story that takes place in the present started strong and hot and I had significant expectations. Unfortunately later on, when this Big secret occurred, I was a disappointed because of the two things. First, although after the first third of the story it was obvious that this Big secret will occur I was not happy with it. And second, I was disappointed with the way the author dealt with it. It was obvious that the only purpose of the Big secret was just to make a conflict between the hero and heroine in order for them to realize that they care deeply for one another and to reunite again, but this time for good. For me the whole idea of the Big secret was presented in a superficial way.

Regardless of this disappointment, I enjoyed the short time I spent with Reunited. I finished the last page with big smile on my face. For me, in this case that is enough to recommend the story. If you are looking for something light and fast, Reunited is a good choice.

They are called Feral Warriors—an elite band of immortals who can change shape at will. Sworn to rid the world of evil, consumed by sorcery and seduction, their wild natures are primed for release . . .

The newest member of the elite Feral Warriors brotherhood, Fox is eager to prove himself on the frontlines of battle against the Daemons. When paired with the legendary Ilina warrior Melisande, he expects the fierce beauty to quickly fall under the spell of his quite considerable charm. Instead, he finds himself spellbound by a woman who’s his match in every way.

Beneath Melisande’s brittle exterior lies centuries of pain and a violent hatred of all shape-shifters—a hatred that slowly crumbles after she and Fox are caught in a deadly and cunning Mage trap and she glimpses a surprising depth in her far-too-seductive partner. Their survival demands unconditional trust—and their salvation surrender to a wild, untamed love.

Kieran’s dream comes true and he becomes Fox, a man with the drive of a superhero, sexy, smart, and landed with an almost impossible task of fighting true evil. The kicker comes from the fact that all is not as it appears. For this story to have the most impact, a reader would have read a couple of the previous books in the series that dealt with the demise of the previous men known as Fox. Only by having a bit of background will the total impact of the author’s deviousness be completely revealed and understood. It’s a jaw dropper.

However, a lack of night erections is not necessarily indicative of an impending canadian cheap viagra erectile dysfunction; since a large proportion of sexually functional males does not routinely get night erections (wet dreams). If you slovak-republic.org generic viagra pills are unable to maintain an erection during sexual intercourse. While visiting doctor for counseling sessions, the partner can cause erectile dysfunction in men.Erectile dysfunction viagra online http://www.slovak-republic.org/kosice/ in itself is not an aphrodisiac, nor does it treat hormonal imbalances. At first I was thrilled for the hero. Ms. Palmer effectively set up the tone of the story right from the start, but even that doesn’t come close to the mayhem and drama that comes later. Poor Fox. Not only does his dream vocation turn dark and murky but he gets the shock of his life when Melisande, the reluctant heroine, mists in. It’s instant emotional conflict and the chase is on. Thing is, Melisande doesn’t want to be chased. In fact she wants nothing whatsoever to do with him. So what’s a guy to do?

What Fox has to go through to win the trust and love of the very resistant heroine is nothing short of heroism. The process includes tons of action with tight and vivid writing that made me short of breath from heightened adrenaline. Surprises and shocks, twists and turns, lows so dark they were a torment to read and highs so lofty they made me dizzy, all pepper the novel making it a true page flipper.

Melisande is a tortured heroine both figuratively and literally. At points it was hard to read about her journey. It culminated in a stunning reveal that blew me away. Ms. Palmer managed to put my feelings through the wringer as the heroine reeled from the ramifications of the truths of what really happened to her. I never saw it coming and it was a great and effective emotional conflict. I liked her courage, her feistiness, her passion once she let go, and I was impressed with her gut-wrenching choice to apologize. That scene was beautifully written and powerful. In previous books, she wasn’t a very nice person. In A Love Untamed a reader finds out why and I guarantee she is a heroine worth caring about. I ended up liking her a lot.

There are old favorites helping Fox save the day but there are new characters that complicate the plot and conflict. The saddest is what happens to Fox’s friend. I hope somehow he can be saved.

Ms. Palmer also threw in a very interesting hook for another feral warrior’s story that may or may not have closure anytime soon. He may, but only the author knows. What I found so interesting was how the author left it – can he be saved? Did the person he sought really do what I thought, and did it end the way it did as written or is there a new curve in the fight against evil that is just tantalizingly out of reach? Even after reading the book I’m still asking myself these questions. Can you say “auto-buy”??

It’s not all frantic searching and fighting action. There are moments of humor, of clever writing that truly entertains and of course, searing, page steaming passion between Fox and Melisande that made this reader sigh in pleasure. Fox really does know his way around a woman’s body. ::swoon::

A Love Untamed is a sure pleaser for fans of this fantastic and exciting series. The characters have their issues and inner emotional conflicts. Their trials provide the impetus for meeting challenges head on, making this novel intense, entertaining and amazing as they rise above the chaos and deliver justice, swift and true. The best part is the culmination of everything they survived to enjoy their happy ever after. Fox and Melisande’s love was tested in fire in this story and I have every confidence that it will be enduring and strong mostly due to this romance being so well written. It’s a keeper.

With Owen Anabelle enjoys pleasures she never imagined. . . until a scandal from the past resurfaces. Now her rules could mean his family’s ruin. Owen’s searing kisses carry the promise of passion, but how will he react when Anabelle’s most devastating secret is finally revealed?

I simply loved this novel from debut author, Anne Barton. Heartwarming and sweet, this Cinderella-like romance was magical and perfect.

Anabelle Honeycote has been a bad girl. The talented seamstress learned the secrets of the ton by eavesdropping on her gossiping clients. She then used those secrets to blackmail the unsuspecting aristocracy. She desperately needed the money to support her sister and ailing mother. Her scheme was successful …until she made the mistake of tangling with the Duke of Huntford. Caught red-handed, Anabelle makes a deal with the devil to save herself.

Owen Sherbourne , the Duke of Huntsford, turns the tables on the naughty Anabelle. Then, instead of turning her in, he offers her a deal. She will live at his family home while she creates a new wardrobe for his two young sisters. There is more to Anabelle than meets the eye. And Owen inexplicably finds himself attracted to her. He is soon crossing the boundaries of his own honor just to steal a kiss..or a touch.

Anabelle forms a bond with Owen’s sisters. And dreams of a forever with Owen. She helps Owen to understand his sisters. And he becomes her knight in shining armor. Even though they both admit to their feelings, they are bound by the social strictures of society.

This story was not without outside conflict. There was a sordid mystery that surrounds the youngest sister’s affliction. Adding to the conflict was a villainess with designs on the Duke.

I predict great things from this author. Anne Barton will become an author to watch. Her voice is strong and unique. Her writing is reminiscent of historical heavy-hitters such as Julia Quinn, Tessa Dare and Lorraine Heath. Her endearing characters and eloquent writing make her one of the most promising new authors in this genre. When She Was Wicked is a must read for historical fans. Anne Barton earns a five star rating for this debut effort. I can’t wait to read her next book.

Despite the magical backdrop of the Loch Ness, the tall tales surrounding it and the beauty of Scotland, it’s the characters, with issues and problems, hopes, dreams and amazing personalities that really shines through the pages. Readers who love a bit of angst, a lot of characterization and a dollop of fun mixed in with their stories will love this book. Despite the hint of magic and old-world-style storytelling I found myself drawn into the plot but particularly attached to the people and their situations.

The author has put a unique spin on the tale of the Loch Ness monster – the opening chapters explaining exactly how and why Alan and Hyatt find themselves “cursed” and bound by this magical conundrum, but enough mystery is left to weave through the entire story. Michaela is a sympathetic heroine, doing her best to live her life and enjoy herself, doing those things she thought there’d be years to do and keep positive even when life is throwing her a curve ball. While the writing, tone and plot were all really good – it was the richness of the characters and the way they instantly grabbed me and made me keep on turning the pages long past my bedtime that was really the best part of this story.
