After taking a job on a quiet Montana dude ranch, ex-cop Rylan Frederickson finds herself surrounded by unbelievably sexy cowboys. Too bad the one she wants is her boss…and the single dad of a four-year-old. It doesn’t matter anyway, because after a recent tragedy, there’s simply no more room in her heart.

Happiness was shared by both the teacher, a student in her early 20’s, and the learner, viagra australia online http://cute-n-tiny.com/uncategorized/announcement-call-for-posters-i-need-help/ an elderly man in his 70’s. It takes a lot of inner strength and courage to pick yourself up after you hit rock bottom. We have Rylan, a strong woman, momentarily brought down by the loss of her daughter. All the guilt feelings do not allow her inner strength to help her deal with her emotions. The best advice anyone has given is to “just let life happen.”

I could relate to her sense of loss. The author gives us an insight into Rylan’s psyche through her writing and so we are deeply involved in Rylan’s thoughts and feelings. As she slowly begins to come to life again, we also catch glimpses of how much she needs to love someone and have someone reciprocate. She has been so closed off for so long too that it resembles the awakening of a soul after years in a coma.

Cole’s character is every romance reader’s hero come true. I loved that he is so committed to his daughter. She is the most important person in his life in addition to his mother and his brothers. He is starving to have a family complete with a wife, but after being burned by his ex-wife, he has also closed his emotions off and refuses to let his feelings for Rylan grow.

This is a wonderful story of struggle for courage and understanding. It teaches us patience and compassion while weaving a passionate love story between our characters. Definitely recommended!

Clarabelle Buchannon was the town sweetheart, the youngest daughter of the town’s wealthiest, oldest family, and the only woman who’d ever truly caught Logan’s eye. But he was convinced that getting close to her would only endanger her. And that was before she got dragged into the war waging between his family and another. Now he needed to figure out how to protect her from the men pulling lightning from the sky, as well as the curse of knowing his secret; preferably without breaking both of their hearts.

Logan Hawke had always been a little mysterious; always been the living definition of ‘strong, silent type,’ but Clare never expected his silence to get heavier after she learned about the Hawke family legacy. Maybe, if she could just get him to listen, she could make Logan see that they were stronger together; strong enough, even, to survive the storm….

If you cheap levitra also have the same problem of gaining erection during intercourse. It is best known for being the longest enduring ED viagra sildenafil treatment accessible today. It is less time consuming and easy to understand, but few medical textbooks discuss the phenomenon, and the topic rarely crops up during tadalafil 20mg no prescription anatomy courses. Another great advantage of Adderrall or Adderral is that it buy viagra online calms down. How much guilt can one man bear alone?

Logan is not a violent man. He is very conscious of his strength and the responsibility that comes with having the power to literally move mountains. I admire Logan’s modesty. It would be easy for him to flaunt his size and strength over others, but that is definitely not his style. He is truly a gentle giant and I’ve been looking forward to learning more about him ever since I started reading Ms. Wulf’s Elemental Series.

In the previous book, Blown Away, Logan was forced to strike out at an enemy who eventually died from injuries sustained in battle. That death weighs heavily on Logan’s conscience. The fact that he acted in self defense doesn’t make the death any easier to bear. Now his nights are plagued with memories of another loss from his past, a fatality he thinks he could have prevented. Seeking revenge, Logan’s enemies are targeting anyone he cares about, including Clare, the woman he’s always admired from a distance. Clare believes that she and Logan can have a future, but she’s have a hard time convincing Logan. Will Logan open his heart to Clare, or shut her out forever?

When I started reading Rock Steady, I knew Logan was the strong, silent type. I didn’t expect to discover that he is also extremely stubborn. I’m amazed at how much time he spent brooding and blaming himself for events that were very clearly beyond his control. Both Clare and Logan’s brothers tried many times to get him to see reason, but Logan seemed determined wallow in his supposed guilt. I understand that the things Logan has seen and done are very difficult, and I truly feel sorry for him. However, I must admit that after a while I became frustrated with his stubborn refusal to listen to logic.

Logan and Clare make a very cute couple, but I would have liked to see them interact more in this book. It is very clear from the start that they already have feelings for each other. However, they didn’t actually spend very much time together. Logan spends too much time brooding in isolation, and Clare isn’t much better. When she finds herself backed into a corner, she also seems to shut down. I am so relieved that they finally decided to be open with each other. Physically, Clare couldn’t be more different from Logan. Clare reminded me a bit of a delicate butterfly flitting around from place to place, and Logan can literally become rock. However, their hearts are perfectly paired. Their warm and caring personalities make it very easy to picture them together.

Ms. Wulf’s Elemental series continues to delight me. Logan and Clare are very sweet and it is easy to cheer for them in their struggle against their lightening powered enemy. Fans of paranormal romance and happy endings would do well to give Rock Steady, as well as the previous books in the series, a try.

Alice Savage needs an alpha – any alpha – to prevent her pack from being usurped by the lecherous Roscoe. As a last resort, she signs up for the Midnight Liaisons dating service, never expecting that she’d find the alpha she seeks. She certainly didn’t expect Jackson Wilder, a laid back, sexy-as-sin outsider who claims to be an alpha.

But Alice has a problem that most female wolf alphas don’t — she’s a virgin. And the female alpha of a wolf pack always belongs to a male alpha. Luckily for her, Jackson’s utterly gorgeous and willing to take things slow. But is he alpha enough to help her save her pack…or is he too easy-going to be the man she needs?

Just like every medicine is bound to tadalafil cheap india have a negative impact on a man’s sex life. Who ever heard of a happy-go-lucky alpha wolf? I certainly hadn’t which is why I picked this book to read. The dimples deceive. Jackson Wilder is one yummy wolf and he’s not defined by first impressions.

Actually neither is the heroine, Alice. When the book opens, she’s a mess. There’s a sad reason for that but it sets the stage for what comes after. It provides the conflict, the plot motivation and the reason for the romance – werewolf style.

This story is told in Alice’s point of view only. Ms. Sims didn’t drop the ball once and stayed true to the POV. I liked how the author kept on track. She never had Alice mired in either a woe-is-me or anger against the world kind of internal conflict. The heroine acted like a true person – she grieved, messed up and got sloppy, but when a threat rolled around she did the right thing. And when she was presented with a new ‘right thing’ she wasn’t blind or stubborn to the point of stupidity – she met the challenge head on, accepted it, moved forward all while her knees are shaking. I liked that.

Personal growth is apparent. At first, Alice feels like she has to follow tradition. And in some ways she does. But the hero, Jackson, introduces a different way of doing things. Not better, just different. Okay, well maybe a little bit better. And it throws the heroine for a loop. I enjoyed that too because I was able to see how she grew as a person, as a leader and as a future mate. Talk about building up sexual tension! I liked the slow tease of their relationship. Jackson respected Alice and that was quite clear. Eventually, the heroine discovered the many ways and reasons to respect the hero in return. And that freed her to ‘explore’. When it comes to the part when she finally overcomes her shyness to explore, it’s very sexy. But when she lets loose? Now, those scenes were fun and hot. Great writing.

The villain or dramatic element of conflict had the capacity to overshadow the romance and take it to a dark place. The author resisted taking things down that path, of which I’m glad. However, it also made me ambivalent about his character. He’s crude, crass, disgusting and yet … and yet the author didn’t have him stay true to form. That confused me. Was he bad all the way or, redeemable? If he’s truly, possibly, redeemable, only a really naughty and hard as steel alpha female could make him toe the line. And maybe smack him aside the head. And knee him in the southern hemisphere. I didn’t like him and I don’t think the author wanted a reader to, but I’m not so sure. See? Ambivalent.

All in all, this is a fun story. Single Wolf Female is great entertainment. After doing a bit of research, I discovered that this book is part of a series. I never felt lost or that I was missing anything. It was a tidy little novelette all by itself and I enjoyed getting to know Alice and Jackson. Secondary characters do pop in towards the later part of the tale and it was those tiny tidbits Ms. Sims included that whetted my appetite for more. If all her stories are as cute and interesting as this, with just the right balance of plot, conflict and sexy seduction, then I think it’s going to be time well spent when I snag myself some back stories. I’m very glad I read this and would recommend it to other readers of paranormal romances.

How do you solve a 70-year old murder? Especially when it hits close to home.

When a hiker near Ithaca stumbles across an old skeleton buried with a rusty buttonhook and a locket full of pictures, Senior Investigator Frank Conley of the New York State Police knows he’s looking at a tough case. What he doesn’t expect is having to solve his own aunt’s murder.

In 1916, when high-society debutante Libbie Morgan decided to balance her time between Ithaca’s rich-but-dull golden boy and a heart-poundingly handsome farm boy, she unknowingly launched an ever-widening web of deception and jealousy.

With the help of the town historian and an attractive aspiring writer, can he piece together a seventy-year- old mystery and discover how love ended up bleeding in a shallow grave?

Perfectly healthy people almost never die suddenly unless something terrible happens to them. Can a 70 year old skeleton provide enough clues to finally solve the mystery of what happened to a privileged young woman who disappeared in 1916?

Imagine discovering human remains while on a long hike. As soon as I read the heartbreaking description of the skeleton that is discovered in the opening scene I couldn’t wait to find out how the victim died and why she came to be buried in a such a lonely place. My curiosity bubbled over when one of the investigators realizes the deceased is related to him. This detail added a sense of urgency to the plot and gave me sympathy for certain decisions Frank makes later on in the course of his investigation that otherwise could be construed as insensitive.

Despite the fact that they never knew one another I noticed striking personality similarities between Libbie and Frank that I wish the author would have explored in greater detail. Both characters are good looking, intelligent, and charming, but they also tend to be self-absorbed and indifferent to the emotional pain they cause others. Frank begins to show signs of self-awareness as the plot progresses, but realizing how much he has in common with his long-dead aunt would have provided an excellent opportunity for further character development.

What I liked most about this novel was how seamlessly the plot jumped between the last few months of Libbie’s life in 1916 and the investigation of what really happened to her 70 years later. Both time periods provide vital clues about Libbie’s fate and even though they both discuss the same events I was always intrigued by the subtle differences between the memories of the witnesses and what actually occurred.

Love Lies Bleeding kept me guessing until the end. This is a great choice for anyone who likes richly detailed historical mysteries set in the beginning of the 20th century.

A whole lot of drama goin’ on!

I like the work of Linda Warren. It’s like spending time with old friends. Usually these friends have a whole lot more drama than mine do, but that’s why it’s fun to read about them.

A Texas Family is a good read. The characters are interesting and I thought about them long after the book closed. I couldn’t stay up to finish the book and they were with me as I fell asleep. That’s a real feat for an author–to hold my attention even when the book is closed.

There were a few things about this book that ripped me out of the story. At one point the hero and heroine are in the bedroom and the descriptions–while staying with the sweeter side of spicy–didn’t make sense, so I had to read them a couple of times. Another thing that pulled me out of the story was when the characters would be doing two things at one time, ie “pulling the phone out, he made a call”. I couldn’t get past that for a little bit. Granted, these are small things in the story and shouldn’t inhibit all readers. I think I was the exception.

Another thing that got to me with this story, but isn’t a bad thing, were the characters. The lack of trust in this story is astounding. I don’t know how someone didn’t clobber anyone else before it was done. I got emotionally involved with both Carson and Jena and for their collective sakes, I wanted to bop someone on the head. The baddie was bad, and a little nonredeemable. But that made the story interesting. I do like how Ms Warren wrote the ending. Good job!

This isn’t the spiciest book on the spicy scale, but it packs a punch. If you want characters with zip, a story line with plenty of twists and turns, and a great ending, then this might be the book for you.

Worse, if her family finds out she’s single again, her sister’s upcoming wedding will be a disaster. The bride-to-be has a plan, though. A plan that involves an old friend, a pretend relationship…and the probability of ending up in a padded cell. This time for real.

Troy Lanske agreed to the crazy plan only because, when he was a lonely foster child, Camryn was his lifeline. But she isn’t the idealistic girl he remembers. She’s become so jaded that she doesn’t even believe in love anymore.

He sets out to restore her faith in happily-ever-afters, but his plan backfires when the fake relationship begins to feel all too real. Falling for the one woman he can’t have could mean losing more than just his honorary family. He could lose everything.

Tell me, how well do you know that phrase? Maybe someone suggested it be your mantra at some point because words were always being hurled at you? Nit picking, constant nagging, and sometimes a little cruel? Yeah, I know I’ve been there.

So the heroine in this story gets this kind of thing a lot. She’s always being picked on. I don’t know if I’d call it bullying, but it’s still an emotional warfare that she manages to suppress, but it affects her more than many people will ever know. Cam lives in a shell. Bombshell after bombshell, right before her sister’s wedding and having to face her family who also loves to nitpick.

I’ll be honest. I wasn’t set out to like Cam in the beginning. She was kind of cold. I wondered how in the world I was going to connect to this woman. Was I ever surprised when I found a deep connection. It started when Cam went home to her family. Let’s just say I understand why she’s somewhat shut off emotionally. I don’t blame her. Not one bit. I found out exactly why this book title has the word dysfunctional in it.

Let’s talk about Troy, the hero. He’s a man that has a bit of baggage. He’s known Cam and her family for years and is now somehow sucked into her sister’s little scheme to keep the family off Cam’s back. I love stories like these, when it all starts out as pretend and turns completely around to become the real thing. Neither Cam or Troy expect things to escalate the way they do.

I love them together. Friends, who have always seen a little more to the other than they let on to anyone. Troy helps Cam open up, loosen up and he finds a way to her heart. This story is filled with quirky characters and some laugh out loud moments. It’s also high on the emotions, especially when I could relate to situations and feelings, mainly with Cam. She’s one that kind of grows on me. Not everyone may understand her unless they’ve gone through something similar. She’s very hard to read otherwise. And that’s what makes a story so great- understanding a much deeper level with characters. The author has created a believable story with an outcome I hoped would pan out well for Troy and Cam.

If you’re looking for a story that has the potential to tug on your heartstrings and make you laugh as well, I recommend The Dysfunctional Test.

I read a lot of books… very few become “best ever books”. This is one of those.

I have been thinking about what makes it so special for me and I think it is a combination of factors.

First, this is a wonderful romantic story. Arion and Angel (as they have nicknamed each other) are kindred spirits. They have bonded in a spiritual level before even meeting. Their online gaming has elicited a closeness and friendship rarely experienced.

Second, it is the thrill and suspense of the underlying plot line. Angel is running away and running to the only person she can trust. She is scared and destitute. When she decided to run and hide, she had no opportunity to gather her belongings and she had to steal money to pay her fare.

Thirdly, it is the writing. This is a well-written book, with great exposition and character analysis. Using both points of views (Arion and Angel) the author provides us with unique insight into their feelings and character traits.

I am grateful that this author’s next book will continue to broaden the story to encompass other characters from this book. I cannot wait to find out what happens to these secondary characters.

Then, one day, I meet a man. He’s in my club, front and center. He watches me do my routine, and his gaze is full of hunger. Not the kind of desire I’m used to though. It’s something different. Something hotter, deeper, and more possessive. I know who he is; of course I do. Everyone knows who Dawson Kellor is. He’s People Magazine’s Sexiest Man alive. He’s the hottest actor in Hollywood. And then things get complicated.

Sometimes we cannot control what life deals us. The best we can do is try to find our own solutions and keep moving forward.

Our heroine, Grey Amundsen, is facing life by herself after the death of her mother. Her father is a pastor and has very rigid ideas of what Grey should do with her life. Grey is now expected to stay and take care of her father and give up her dreams of going to college and forging a life for herself. Her rebellion to her father’s demands is the typical reaction a young woman would have in exerting her independence. Her father is so rigid he is unable to understand Grey must make her own choices and has given her an ultimatum. She is faced with the decision that she must try to follow her dreams and make a life for herself which will break all ties with her father.

As the story develops, we quickly find out that she is close to destitute and her only choice is to try to stay in college by paying for it with a part time job. One problem… the only job available that she is qualified for is dancing. Yes, as in exotic dancing, stripping in a gentleman’s club. She has never had a boyfriend, never really dated anyone, so for her to take this job goes against all the morals ethics she has been taught. Her internal struggle must be kept secret as she takes on this job to survive.

I was quite taken by Grey’s fortitude and determination to survive. She realizes that she has little choice here but dance in this strip club. She takes this decision in stride and makes some concessions, i.e. she will control how she takes off her clothes on stage, she will give lap dances on the club floor to individual customers, but she will not parade herself half nude and she will not take off her shirt while lap dancing. No, she will be dressed in her costume until the last possible moment. This gives her the appearance of control over her dancing despite the suggestive catcalls and the hands attempting to paw her body.

Grey’s love affair with a famous actor Dawson Kellor is slow burning while she struggles to come to grip with her own sexuality. Dawson is quite a masculine character, but below the entire alpha male outer surface is a tender man full of sensitivity to Grey’s predicament.

I found the book moving and entertaining. As Grey’s life becomes more complicated with her relationship with Dawson and keeping her stripping activities secret, you get to understand her character and her morals and cannot help but empathize with her.
