Chaysing Memories feels so personal. I think this is where I congratulate the author. Though the first book was good, this second book was incredible. The writing was exceptional, emotional and descriptive.

Tess doesn’t remember Chayse but her world comes crashing down when she realizes she has lost three weeks of her life. From then on starts a fight where life and happiness is at stake. Chayse is trapped in hell and the only person who can save is the one who does not remember him.

Maybe I am being a little cheesy but this story shows you the power of love and of the mind and how fate has a hand in our lives.

A lot of secrets in her life are unraveled. A myriad of different events occur that will make her much stronger. The plot was well developed and the author made sure the mystery and suspense element of the book stayed through until the end.

I loved every part of this, from the beginning to the end. My heart went out to them every time it felt like they are going to lose each other. But they stayed strong until the end. The ending….I was surprised. I think that’s all I can say without giving something away.

For readers, I would very much recommend they read from book 1 first. l loved the second book. It made me cry and hope for more of this story to come. Those who love an epic love story should check this series out.

It simply wasn’t as much of a focus as I thought it would be. The plot and the climax both were good though it was easy to guess the ending.

The story gives a glimpse of a small town. That’s a setting I love to read. The characters were well developed. I could probably explain every character but I don’t have enough time for that. The writing style of Miss Biggar allows me to understand both sides of this story which is a big plus in my book.

Rebel’s Redemption is the second book in the Wounded Heart series. I have not read the first book in this series but I am going to read it and will keep an eye out for Miss Biggar’s other books. The series can be read as a standalone but to get the most enjoyment I would suggest you to read from the start.

This is a story where a vampire knight, or warrior, meets his chosen mate. However, this story is not as simple as that. They have to go through a mad man to get to their HEA. It has a heroine with a strong sense of humor, and an equally volatile temper and spirit to match the strength of her hero.

A vampire and a human both with haunting pasts that build their present. A read well worth the time.

That being said this story went smoothly and I truly enjoyed it.

Between the plot, the characters and the chemistry between Dy and Summer I almost forgot about the background info. It was that good but in the end it still wasn’t quite complete since there were unanswered questions.

Considering this is the fourth book in this series I think it might be understandable. The questions I had could have been answered in the first three books. Just in case, I would suggest that readers start the series from the beginning.

In my opinion Spell Weaver is a descriptive read that will engage each of the readers in an urban fantasy world that will draw them back to this series time and again.

While Sterling, the high profile journalist has lost so much that he’s willing to do anything in order to save the love of his life when she’s in danger.

There is mystery and suspense in healthy doses for any mystery lovers.

They had lust and desire between them when they first met and I was immediately thinking that the lust would be the point that would bring them together. I was so wrong. I loved the slow developing relationship they had. They had something going for them and between them besides the impossible to ignore lust.

All in all, I think it this is a book for romance lovers and readers looking for damaged heroes and heroines finding their way back to love.

Bree is a sweet and independent girl. I would have loved to know more about how much of a distinct difference there was in Bree emotionally during the five years encompassed in this story.  However, I loved the story and would surely love to read more of this author.

This was a short erotic but sweet read that any romance lover should like.

For me the one thing that makes this whole series or book different than any other book was Riletta and who she really was. Not to say that the book as a whole was not engaging. I multitask a lot, even when I am reading a book. Rare is a book nowadays that could pull me in completely and make me come back again and again. The author did a wonderful job doing that.

However, I have one small problem with the wordings in the whole book. This is a New Adult erotic book. Not a young adult. But every now and then some of the characters would slip into dialogue that reminded me of children or young adults or teenagers. I understand that Phoenix Rising is set at a university and both the main characters are students. But somehow I kept thinking that the way they talked was not in complete synch with the whole story and their characters.

Ms. Carnes did a wonderful job of portraying the different sides of Macen that endeared me to him. At the same time it was touching to see the progress in Riletta with the help of some special characters. I do hope there is a second book in this in the near future. I will be looking out for the latest book. I want to know more about who Riletta is and what she could do.

I enjoyed this story about an alpha with a protective instinct and a shifter who has yet to find her true potential.
