Born in 1620, Laurent Kinsdale, an orphan at ten and a vampire at twenty five, goes against all his sire has taught him, when, on an impulse, he turns his lover, Graham Symonds. Graham does not take the turning well, his anger towards the man he’s loved for four years knows no bounds. After he commits unconscionable acts directed at destroying Laurent, he disappears for a century and a half.

In 1820, Laurent meets Sebastian FitzHugh. The two men have common sexual interests, each other, despite the fact that Sebastian doesn’t know about Laurent’s vampirism. Their lives are disrupted by the re-emergence of Graham, who insinuates himself in the middle of their idyll and forces Laurent to make a gut-wrenching decision that could tear his and Sebastian’s world apart. Does he care for Sebastian enough to let him go or will he repeat the mistakes of his past?

It must have been quite harrowing to be a gay male in the 1800s, especially since social pressure to marry was so strong. Add to that complication, the fact that Sebastian’s lover is immortal and jaded by centuries of one night stands, and I’m pretty sure you will understand the dilemma he faces in Love Immortal. Ms. Addams combines vampires and smoking hot manlove in this historical romance, sure to keep the reader turning pages far into the night.

The characters in this book were well written and I was able to sympathize with their emotions and actions. At first I was ready to give a verbal smack down to Laurent for his cavalier attitude toward love, but soon changed my mind as the plot progressed and more of his reasoning was revealed. Sebastian, the submissive character, was endearing and made me want to bundle him up in a warm blanket and give him lots of comfort food. The ability to bring out the anger and protectiveness in me seems to be Ms. Addams specialty, and I appreciated her effort as it enhanced the realism of the story.

Love Immortal is definitely not your mama’s romance book; it’s better. Women that have experienced repeated failures using in vitro fertilization, because of very poor growth and development of buy tadalafil canada the immune system during the early years of life. Contrary to most historical romances I have read, this book left no doubt as to what was going on in the bed. The love scenes were extremely detailed, and frankly, hotter than Georgia in August. There were tender scenes as well, with heart-warming dialogue. Both hot and sweet were perfectly balanced and served to demonstrate the bond between these two men. I laughed out loud at the 19th century version of the pickup line: “Mayhap I could offer you refreshment away from our current surroundings?”

I enjoyed the pace of this storyline as it covers many years, but manages to go in almost slow motion in exactly the right places. The plot was a striking comparison of the difference between the destinies of two men who made two very different choices. I’ve always toyed with the concept of “doing it all over again” and the author did a very good job of pointing out that a single choice can change the future in both good and grievously bad ways.

The forced seduction, and violence tags were both added due to the terrible acts the villain commits. Please note this story contains graphic BDSM scenes and rough sex. The story ended rather abruptly, but adequately summed up the drama climaxing right before The End. There were a few grammatical and spelling errors, but they did not detract too much from the flow of the book.

If you are searching for an authentic-feeling historical novel, filled with angst, lost love, and second chances then you will enjoy reading this book. The first in the Mysterious Moonlight series, I look forward to reading more of Ms. Addams works. I’ll end this review with my favorite quote from Love Immortal: “It has been too long since I last saw you. I’ve thought of little but seeing you again.”

I enjoyed reading about Jack’s exploits in trying to meet someone. When the online dating doesn’t help him he tries out for a softball team. There he meets Richard, an older gay man who becomes Jack’s mentor in the gay world. Richards take him to the Gentleman’s Club for him to see the joys of being gay. Once they get to the club Jack gets the shock of a lifetime when he discovers the main attraction is no other than Alex.

The characters in this story were well developed and very believable. Both these men have their own insecurities and uncertainties when it comes to relationships. The author built this story to where you were always questioning will they get together. The character of Richard was an excellent addition to this story. He may have had a small part but without his help neither one of these men would have got to play out there fantasy. Then there was the club itself, who wouldn’t want to go to a place and be able to live out there most desired fantasy.

I’m a fan of Gale Stanley’s work. Her characters are always very believable. You become invested in their lives and want to see them get their happy ending. She also leaves the conflict unresolved until the end, which has you constantly guessing what will happen next. If you’re looking for a good hearted romance with hard-headed characters, this is the story for you.

When Temp and the other demons from the Anything Goes Club go to rescue the captives from the Halfers, evil minions of hell, he discovers a small, gorgeous man that instantly captivates him. When he lifts the smaller man in his arms, everything feels… perfect, and Temp will do anything to protect Reid.

But Reid is a survivor, barely hanging on after being horribly abused and drained of blood. When the large demon unknowingly offers him more than he bargained for, Reid takes the opportunity to drink life giving blood back into his body, too far gone to know he is binding them together for all eternity.

Temp is shocked when he discovers his offer to give Reid whatever he needs created a mating bond to the alluring vampire. Is it something they can both live with after all they’ve been through? Or did they just ruin each other’s eternity?

I am always amazed by the capability of the soul to endure seemingly impossible trials and still be able to let love in. Lust and Vamp, the second of Joyee Flynn’s Anything Goes series, deals with the healing that takes place between tragedy and happily ever after.

Temp and Reid face many challenges that threaten their existence together, but never compromises their love for each other. This unconditional love is one of my favorite themes in romance stories. The protagonists get together at the very beginning of the book so that the reader has a front row seat to their blooming love.

Ms. Flynn is uniquely clever in her creation of exhilarating and erotic scenes. Temp and Reid are physically breathtaking and their dialogue is flirtatious and seductive. I loved that each steamy encounter was different. Before a decade, only old men were noted to be facing the impotence issue but nowadays even the young men in twenties and thirties are noted to be facing the hard-on attaining problems.Tremendous rise is being noted in the occurrence of the impotence in men. purchasing cialis online This herb cheap viagra levitra is sought after by those men who produce wafer-thin and watery semen and ejaculate prematurely which sours the pleasure of sex and leaves the female partner unsatisfied and dispirited and therefore sexual life becomes gloomy and dull. There are two pfizer viagra 50mg common types of chronic pancreatitis: alcoholic and biliary. Sometimes their lovemaking was sweet and tender while other times the heat level set the pages ablaze.

These men are positively perfect for each other and will endear themselves to you well before the end of the book. Their willingness to sacrifice their own well being to protect their other half is impressive. Temp, the dominant character, breaks free from the typical distant and moody alpha portrayal to show a surprising capacity for devotion to his mate. Likewise, Reid, in the submissive role rises above the cliche by showing an inner strength that was quite admirable.

I have included a Forced Seduction tag with this review due to the recounting of events by one of the main characters. It is in no way used by the author to describe the relationship between Temp and Reid. While the story is written in first person from Temp’s perspective, I felt that Reid’s emotions were effectively represented. I would recommend reading the first book in this series, Lust and Fae, in order to understand events in the beginning of this book.

Lust and Vamp was a charming tale with strong characters, and authentic emotions. I heartily recommend this romance to you because I find myself craving the next book in this series more than my next chocolate fix. Kudos to Joyee Flynn for authoring yet another remarkable story. I’ll end with my favorite quote from the book: “My life is an open book to you, my mate,” I replied… “Anything I do you can know about, everything I have is yours, and all of me belongs to you.”

In the next installment of the Wolf Harem series, Ryder and Luc are desperately trying to help in the aftermath of the bombing. They call on pack leaders for help and resources to aide Spencer and Dean. While Luc focuses on helping their men, Ryder works on the cover up, to hide every possible detail which could potentially reveal their true identities to the human police. As they work through the situation and fear losing the two men they love, there’s one mystery they must solve, who hates them enough to send a bomb intended for murder?

What could possibly be hotter than four gorgeous guys in one big bed? Why five gorgeous guys of course! Joyee Flynn turns up the heat with the third book in her Wolf Harem series. Let me tell you why Dying Assassin is a must read for m/m menage fans…

I truly anticipate reading Joyee Flynn’s series because she continues the love story of the couples introduced in all of the previous books. It begins with Spencer and Ryder, then continues with each book to change their relationship by adding a new man. These kind of relationships seem impossible until you learn more about the men and the circumstances that bring them together. The protagonists in this book are all so unique that they each bring something special to complete “harem”. Each scene was designed to illustrate the love these men have for each other. I was touched by the dedication of all the members of this little family to make their partners happy by self sacrifice and thoughtfulness. By the end of the book you’ll be able to see that losing any one member of their group would devastate them and their special bond.

Another singular feature in shifter books is the bond between mates. Ms. Flynn manages to maintain the faithfulness in each mate while adding a new companion to the union. The scenes she creates are incredibly imaginative and leave the reader with a clear picture of what is happening. Just because of its affordable unica-web.com online cialis prices. The benefit of taking the generic anti-impotence medication is that it offers the same potency as the original medication cialis 5mg tablets marketed by Pfizer to treat their erectile dysfunction. Here a viagra sans prescription unica-web.com small pellet sized medicine is inserted into urethra. When these men get together in bed, a plane, and other random flat surfaces, the fireworks are almost overwhelming. These boys should come with their own “Smoking Hot” warning label.

This is book includes violence from outside forces. I can appreciate a story that allows the good guys to struggle just enough to refine their personalities. This refinement is evident as each person must deal with their own battles, and stand ready to unite with their lovers to face their foes. The protectiveness shown for their mates made me smile on several occasions.

This book does end with a cliffhanger, but it does not in any way endanger the partnership of the harem. I’ve added a BDSM tag to this review but it is not a strong element in the book and is, in my opinion, very light in nature. I strongly suggest reading the first two books in this series before continuing to Dying Assassin. This book is written in first person, and includes two different perspectives. Do not be concerned by this as the change in perspective makes perfect sense and really adds to the understanding of the story.

I highly suggest you read the Wolf Harem series, especially Dying Assassin as it is my favorite so far. There were moments that I laughed so hard I had to find my place again. I think you’ll really enjoy this book and recommend picking it up today. I’ll end with my favorite quote from the book: “Well, we can’t have you upset, baby.” I chuckled, taking his hand. “You’re the one who feeds me.”

Being in the wrong place at the wrong time is not always a bad thing?

Noah Anderson is odd and he knows it. He has a strong obsessive compulsive disorder that keeps him organized but distances him from the world around him. He doesn’t have any friends, family, or even a lover. He’s never had a lover.

When he finds himself in the wrong place at the right time, Noah discovers that the dangers posed by having sex for the first time pale in comparison to having sex with the assassin that comes to kill him, even if it means his life.

Gage Tynan is a killer. It’s what he’s always been. And he excelled at his job until he jumped into the car of a passing motorist when his latest mission goes wrong. The man driving is so odd that Gage suspects he might have been sent to harm him. Gage has no idea that the little man that asks him to take his cat will change his life in ways he has no clue of.

Gage is dragged into a world of shifters and exiled kings, one where his strength will be called upon to keep Noah safe from the pride soldiers sent to keep him from taking the throne.

I’m not sure I’ve ever encountered a more unlikely couple than Gage and Noah in The Cat’s Meow. It came as a complete and welcome surprise to find myself so caught up with their courtship and romance. Ms. Glenn proves with this book that true love and adversity are often the very things needed to unleash the hidden potential in a person.

As is often the case, the story begins with an intense sexual attraction between the protagonists. It is only outside of the bed that Noah and Gage are at odds. Noah’s character was obsessive to the extreme, quiet and withdrawn…resigned. I remember thinking that this guy seemed almost like an alien who had read a how-to guide on being human. Gage, the ultimate man’s man is seemingly heartless and jaded. While polar opposites, their growing love for each other makes them the perfect team.

Ms. Glenn has a way of changing the mood within just a couple of sentences. For instance, I was deeply touched by the tender words spoken at the beginning of a page, only to be caught completely off guard by a hysterical comment in the following paragraph. By the end of the same page a fan was needed due to the heat created by her descriptive wording.

It’s so much fun when a book takes tradition and turns it upside down. You’ll find that the expected climax is almost secondary to the real struggle in this tale. This concept is displayed in many of her books, where the solution to the real problem was there all the time, the characters just needed to grow as people before the answer became clear. Others surrounding the couple prove to Gage and Noah that they are not alone, and need to learn they can trust and rely on others.

This is one of my favorite books that Ms. Glenn has written. It’s really amazing how she creates totally new worlds with each of her series titles. I look forward to more books in this series. Many other fascinating characters are introduced which served only to whet my appetite for more. If you enjoy a fast paced, original romance, with witty banter and steamy love scenes, this is absolutely the book for you. I’ll end with my favorite quote from the book: “Whatever we have together, wherever we are, that will be our home.”

As a warrior of his race, Yuri Stanalovic has always completed each assignment as expected, regardless of his needs or feelings. So, when tasked with a mission requiring his special gift, Yuri immediately accepts and heads out to France. The Grand Duc Dominic Reynard Courtland Aldrich spent most of his life in the best boarding schools in England preparing to fill the role of heir to the throne. After his parents were murdered as a child, Dominic lived a lonely life, without love. Spending most of his life heeding the council of his parent’s advisors, Dominic began to lose his true self. When Yuri discovers the life of the Grand Duc is in his hands, he wants nothing more than to keep Dominic safe. But can love prevail when it has been denied for a lifetime?

There’s just not a whole lot to do sexually that Joyee Flynn does not have in this book. The scenes are smoking hot, so if you enjoy adventurous rendezvous, this book will not disappoint.

Love’s Denial is the third in the Warrior Camp series of books. The book is full of “sex god” level vampires. What I like most about Ms. Flynn’s books is that they include characters from her previous books. If you fall in love with the couple or group in the first book, you don’t have to say goodbye, as their happily ever after continues.

Yuri is the first to be introduced in this tale. While he’s the typical alpha male, his longing for something more than one night stands is obvious. Dominique is a complicated submissive since he’s royalty and totally in the closet. The M/M genre of books is overflowing with characters who follow the pattern of dominant, masculine male meets submissive, sensitive almost “damsel in distress” male. Joyee Flynn is fantastic about blurring these lines by creating realistic, developed personalities who are both dominant and sensitive; submissive and masculine.

Attention to detail is paramount in importance to me as it lends legitimacy to any story. This is Joyee Flynn’s strong suit. You’ll find that she explains the “gifts” her vampires possess in amazing detail. She even goes so far as to include a flight schedule with times in different countries, and I checked: she got it right.

If you’ve read her previous books in this series, you’ll be glad to find that Alexander, Dimitri, Matteo, and Nate are active participants in this book. Keep in mind that this is a book about warriors, and as such, includes combat and violence. It is my opinion that the action helps move the book along, and is not secondary to the love scenes. There are several different types of sex scenes in this book from rough, voyeuristic encounters, to tender lovemaking. All are amazingly detailed which makes sense with this particular author.

I am giving this book four cherries only because I am comparing it to her other works. Love’s Denial is a fast paced, intensely erotic book that will get your heart pumping. This is a must read for any M/M enthusiast but I do recommend reading the first two in the series before indulging in this book. I’ll close with my favorite quote from the book: “I’m not an easy man…but I promise to give you every part of me if you’ll keep my heart safe.”

Nail polish, makeup, hair extensions, cute little skirts, a new life in a new city…what else is a guy to do when someone is trying to kill him?
Nicholas Rylander watched his best friend get murdered and now he’s in hiding…as a woman. He’s had hair extensions put in, acrylic nails applied, and a custom bra fitted to give him breasts. He’s even moved across the country and found an apartment as Nicky, a hot girl in a short skirt.

Nicky’s only problem? He’s met the man of his dreams and Seth thinks he’s a girl. Telling Seth the truth could get them both killed but if he doesn’t Nicky could lose the best thing that ever happened to him.

There’s absolutely nothing better to me than being challenged by the ideas presented in a book. Stormy Glenn’s My Girl goes beyond the typical boy meets boy, to explore social norms and the reasons behind them. The lovely surprise is that this book is also smoldering, sexy, and in places, an outright hilarious read.

In the beginning of the book, Nicky is introduced as a beautiful woman. Seth, a confirmed gay man, finds himself captivated by the very lovely, very female Nicky. I imagined it would be quite difficult to suddenly be attracted to a woman for Seth. Ms. Glenn fleshes this emotion out in such detail, that I now know exactly how that would feel. I eagerly anticipated the moment where the main character realizes that he’s made a huge mistake, and finds himself in the unenviable position of having to plead for a second chance. I wanted to hand Seth his head on Nicky’s behalf, but soon found myself rooting for them both to have their happily ever after.

The real meat of this tale revolves around the fact that a man and a woman enjoy greater freedom to express their affection for each other in public, than their same-sex counterparts. In fact, they exhibit the same kind of capacity in the treatment of the ailment. viagra 100mg price Be attentive to each other- continue reading my drugshop purchase levitra online Ignoring what your partner says may lead to distraction and distances. I love how Ms. Glenn uses the characters, and their different perspectives, to explore the ideas of injustice and social boundaries. Nicky and Seth must both evaluate how they feel about their roles, especially Nicky who must cross the line, and pretend to be something he’s not. You’ll find the detail is superb, and was obviously well researched.

Let’s not forget the steamy scenes that keep me coming back like an addict for more of Stormy Glenn’s books. Talk about heart pumping, shock to the system, “wish you had some of that” sex. If you’re looking for a book that produces longing like this, get this book…today. Ms. Glenn’s ability to weave an intensely compelling situation with levity is refreshing. It definitely added to the development of Seth and Nicky’s relationship to be able to laugh during their lovemaking.

This book had just the right amount of heat, wit, and brain percolation time. There’s plenty of action to keep the reader turning the pages to see what happens next. I’m giving this book a rating of 4.5 cherries only because I’ve read many of Stormy Glenn’s books, and use those as comparison. I’m happy to recommend this book to you, I know you’ll enjoy it. As this is my first review with this site, I’ll begin a tradition by closing with my favorite line in the book: “If it makes you feel any better, I’d hold hands with you no matter where or how we looked….and I don’t care what anyone says about it.”

Ben, an American art professor on a painting sabbatical in the south of France, rents a room in an isolated village to avoid the tourist crush. There he meets his landlady’s brother, the sensitive and childlike loner Jean-Yves, whom the locals consider simple minded because he is “different”. Ben makes him his principal model and undertakes to build his self-confidence and prepare him to fend for himself.

Jean-Yves has never had a friend before. As they grow closer, Ben comes to realize the extent of the young mans emotional needs, and his total dependence and unbridled devotion frighten him. Has he taken on more responsibility than he can handle? Should he allow himself to fall in love with Jean-Yves when he knows their relationship must end when his sabbatical is over?

If you’re in the mood for a long, leisurely, creative and cultural journey through France and Italy in the company of two beautiful men, then P’tit Cadeau is the novel for you. One of the strongest elements about this book was the depth of immersion into both France and the life of the artist. French phrases are sprinkled liberally throughout, some translated, some relying on context to get their meaning across. Plenty of time is spent describing Ben’s artistic processes, how he sees a landscape or model or other subject that he wants to capture, effects of light and other environmental factors, deciding on the composition of the drawing or painting, materials to be used. Jean-Yves is most definitely not feeble minded, nor really childlike — he just hasn’t had the chance, under his sister’s suspicious and watchful eye, to spread his wings and be his own person. True, he is quite a bit younger than Ben and looks even younger than he is, but he has a rich inner life that, with Ben’s friendship and influence, finally has a chance to flourish. Because the story is told in first person from Ben’s point of view, we don’t get to experience Jean-Yves’ thoughts and feelings directly, only through the filter of Ben’s perspective.

For me, the downside of this novel and the reason I gave it 3.5 cherries is that it gets so meandering in the long middle that it starts to bog down. Some of the scenes don’t seem to either advance the plot or reveal character, they seem to exist purely for the purpose of more local color, and at times Ben’s reservations about a relationship with Jean-Yves seem overly repetitive. One can always skim those parts, though, because the novel covers a lot of ground, in terms of miles, years, and character growth (especially that of Jean-Yves), and is definitely satisfying. Don’t be thrown by the title or the reference to hustlers; while a few gay male prostitutes do show up in the story, they aren’t a big part of it.

Overall, P’tit Cadeau is an enjoyable, insightful novel that transports the reader easily and is the next best thing to a private romantic European artists’ retreat.

Mal soon comes to realize he’s never thought about the question; just assumed that organized religion is speaking God’s word.

The religious debate takes up a good portion of the story and tries to offer the viewpoint that someone can be spiritual and still gay; that homosexuality is not a sin. The fact that a guardian angel, presumably with the most belief in God, never even thought about this question is a bit suspect. Mal feels too innocent, too naïve in a lot of the scenes. He’s new to the ways of humans and often blunders his way through things as well. He has a very formal way of speaking that makes for an awkward, somewhat difficult reading experience. This is meant to convey Mal’s thought process but tends to make for a disjointed story.

The romance between Bran and Mal is nice but I think the religious and intellectual debate overshadow the story. Combined with the writing style, this may not appeal to everyone. There are several sweet romantic elements and a definite happy ending – with miracles even – and the story does a really good job of offering a different, fresh take on the angel/human theme. I’m very curious to see what the author does next.

Their budding relationship takes a hit when Nick loses his job. Kyle suggests that Nick apply to be a chauffeur for his uncle’s company. All seems to be going well until Kyle’s uncle suspects Kyle is gay. He gives Kyle an ultimatum: either get his act together and live a straight life or be gay and move out and lose his job and home.

This story had a very unexpected ending that I never saw coming. The uncle, who I thought was pure evil, had a method to his madness so to speak. The one problem I found in the story was at times I felt the characters point of view was unclear. It jumps between the two characters quite a bit. I was still able to follow along and it didn’t deter me from reading or enjoying the story.

Overall I liked this book and would recommend it. This is definitely a heartwarming love story between two men who have been knocked down by life but never let it keep them down. I found myself rooting for these two to have their happy ending. Serena Yates is an excellent author and wrote a very touching love story.
