Psychologist Victor Mascari and his partner, spa-owner Derek Jameson, have been together eight years, but their relationship is still evolving. Derek distrusts monogamy because of his parents’ messy divorce, but as marriage equality advances, Victor’s doubts about their open relationship are growing. He doesn’t necessarily want a legal union, but he’s increasingly concerned about how others view them.

When Victor comes home to find Derek with another new conquest, he’s annoyed… at first. As he gets to know Antonio, Victor discovers the young man is intelligent, self-assured, and charming. This time, it’s Victor who is intrigued by someone else and Derek who thinks Victor’s interest is crossing the lines they’ve agreed on. If Victor wants to keep Derek, he’ll have to let Antonio go.

A committed relationship between three men—all very different in age and background—is enough of a challenge, and then the horrifying secrets of Antonio’s abusive past emerge.

Long-time couple Victor and Derek like to keep things fresh and exciting in their partnership. Their open relationship hasn’t ever been an issue between them until Antonio. Now Victor is looking at things in a different light and questions arise. Will Antonio be the death of Victor and Derek’s relationship or will the couple evolve yet again into something more?

Of the two, Victor Mascari was the one I related to best. He’s a psychologist and more reserved than his younger partner, Derek. He’s content to be in a committed, monogamous relationship although he allows Derek his fun, too. The choices Victor makes and the heartaches he goes through were real for me. I’m not sure I’d be able to man up in the way that he did at times.

Derek Jameson, on the other hand, is outgoing, adventurous, and always on the lookout for his next conquest. Although he often shared these temporary partners with Victor, he didn’t always include him, either. That bit bothered me somewhat, partially because Victor is at a fundraiser when it happens at the beginning of the book. It rubbed me the wrong way that Derek was home while Victor was at something that was important to him.

Antonio is an enigma. Although Derek brought him home, he knows nothing about him, and Antonio’s not offering any information up. I really liked Antonio from the beginning, even if his backstory and current situation was a bit far-fetched. I can get past things like that, however, if the character is relatable to me.

One thing that really bothered me about this story was that Derek, the one that had not just suggested, but insisted, on an open relationship, suddenly becomes jealous over Victor’s attraction to Antonio. This seemed out of character to me for many reasons, but mostly because he’d been putting Victor into the same situation repeatedly and Victor never said a word about it.

All in all, Expanded Hearts is an enjoyable, steaming hot ménage. Well-written and engaging, I enjoyed seeing Victor and Derek not only work through their issues, but also help Antonio through his problems as well. I’d love to see where the three of them are now and how far they’ve come since we left off.

With things heating up between Jack and Lucky all over London from public restrooms to five-star hotels, Jack lures the wild assassin into their sensual web. This is either gonna be the beginnings of a spicy, feisty threesome… or a triple homicide.

Jack’s having a tough time. He’s been “promoted” into a new assignment with the most violent criminals. His lover, Lucky, is on the other side of the world and has been for almost a year. And then Jack’s shot. Nothing seems to be working out for him. Forced into some R and R he heads to London to try and sort things out with Lucky. Can they both manage to stay safe long enough to reignite their relationship?

This is a smoking hot, steamily sexy story. While the predominant relationship is between Lucky and Jack, through a funny and somewhat complicated series of events they indulge in two different threesomes during this short story. I found this to be quite fast-paced, which I found surprisingly enjoyable. Like a speeding train, events unfold one after another like dominoes falling. I thought this was both excellent and difficult. I liked it because needing to know what happened next kept me turning the pages, completely addicted. The only real down side to this was I felt a little like I just couldn’t catch my breath and enjoy each moment.

Lucky and Jack’s relationship has a few rough patches in this story. I was quite nervous for them in a few places but was delighted that things always got resolved – usually with a lot of very hot sex! One thing I really loved was how the author somehow managed to make something that sounds absolutely insane not just actually occur, but make sense. I can’t imagine any other situation where a specific threesome could occur. Somehow Lucky and Jack (and clearly the author!) make the absurd completely possible and damn hot at the same time.

A fun, fast romp, this is an awesome short story and one I enjoyed.

Going out alone was Griffin Bower’s first mistake. Accepting a drink from a stranger was his second. Can they keep Griffin safe while he heals? Will he agree to mate with both men? Will Doctor Pain show up looking for his missing pet?

After escaping his kidnapper, Griffin allows his roommate and best friend Teddy to call his brother, Roane, for help. Roane is a shifter and a member of Team Paladin and knows they can protect Teddy and Griffin. Twist and Jack have been in a committed relationship for five years, but when Griffin walks through the door of their bar, both men are instantly attracted. Can Griffin be exactly what they’ve both been searching for?

I found this to be a really interesting short story. As one would guess, Doctor Pain is not all about happiness, rainbows and glitter, and I was surprised – but pleased – that the author didn’t shy away from showing the reader exactly how nasty Doctor Pain is. While I don’t feel that the more gorey and torture-ish scenes were wallowed in or glorified, neither were they ignored or tucked away. We see Doctor Pain harming others in short doses and I personally feel it adds to the sense of very real danger that Griffin and anyone associated with him is in. Readers should be aware that a few of the scenes are graphic – though I personally don’t feel they are any more graphic than a regular paperback thriller would be nowadays. For readers wanting some spicy romance and not a thriller, this might sour them on the mood so I feel it worth highlighting.

I really enjoyed the many characters in this story. Jack, Griffin and Twist were all complicated, multi-layered characters that I found a joy to read about and watch grow together. There’s plenty of supporting characters, from Teddy, Roane and other members of the shifter Team Paladin. And all the while Doctor Pain hovered around the edges of the story, an interesting – and creepy – villain. While Griffin didn’t jump immediately into bed with Twist and Jack, I was surprised that a mere day after escaping a week of torture Griffin was willing to cuddle, lean on and become vulnerable with two strangers. From a plot point of view it was explained quite thoroughly, but it just didn’t feel realistic to me and I needed to suspend my disbelief and just push through that. Since I was enjoying most other aspects of the story this wasn’t hard, but I don’t feel all readers will swallow that very sudden change quite so easily. I was impressed that other signs (nightmares, body-shyness etc) were all part of the trauma Griffin showed – these all struck me as far more believable. After a week of being in each other’s company I could understand Griffin relaxing and trusting the team – so the initial/immediate trust with Jack and Twist was a small bump in an otherwise interesting progression of the story.

The sex and “we’re shifters” talk was well paced. I also liked seeing the overall story arc (that of the small town being bought by the team and bringing it back to life piece by piece) move forward. I was a little disappointed that the plot felt not only predictable but also there was a part of the ending clearly left hanging. I’m hopeful it will be picked up (with Teddy and Dallas) in the next book, but it did leave this story feeling somewhat unfinished to my mind. I also had a chuckle about a man called Teddy mating a Bear-shifter – even if that pun isn’t intended it made me laugh!

A good story and one I can easily recommend.

Beau thought Aaron was dead to him… Imagine his surprise when his former lover slinks into his tattoo shop.

Eight months ago, vampire Beaudelaire Delacourte had it all. As a tattoo artist, he used his special ink and spells to permanently tattoo other immortals and spent countless hours feeding and indulging in BDSM with his human lover, Aaron. Then he asked to turn Aaron so his lover could join him permanently, but Aaron refused, not willing to give up his humanity. Since then, Beau has kept his head down and stayed in his shop, only interacting with his clients who all come for his special brand of ink.

While cost cialis viagra is manufactured by a huge pharmaceutical company who invests a large amount upon research and developmental of their products and also on the marketing. But the experience is richer, more thoughtful, gentle to meet order cialis the requirements of the woman. When Aaron shows up on his doorstep, half-dead and apologizing, Beau is shocked to learn that his boy was turned at the local vampire club by Stephan, another vampire. Not only was Aaron turned, but his chest was torn open, his fangs were broken and he was left in an alley to die. Spurred by the need to see Beau one last time, Aaron has been hiding in an abandoned building until he found the strength to make it to Beau’s shop.

Beau takes his boy in again, promising that Aaron will earn his place back in Beau’s bed, and vowing that he will take revenge on Stephan. Unbeknownst to Beau, Aaron is only the first in a long line of humans who Stephan has created then turned out to fend for themselves. As Beau discovers that this is only one of the old rules that Stephan has broken, he and Aaron are drawn into a web of intrigue that can only end in someone’s death.

Beau and Aaron had broken up when Beau offered his lover immortality and Aaron refused. That was months ago, and when Aaron stumbled back into Beau’s tattoo parlour, Beau was shocked. Not only had Aaron been viciously changed, but Aaron’s fangs had been broken and the man cast aside and left for dead. Can Beau reclaim his ex lover and can the two men find their way back to each other?

I found this a fresh take on the more traditional style of vampires. While much of the world and mythology is similar to the normal style everyone knows, I loved how the book itself focused strongly on Aaron learning the ropes of vampirism. Beau takes on the role of mentor and it was interesting to effectively learn alongside Aaron. Elements of the BDSM lifestyle were closely woven in with more common vampire lore – feeding and avoiding sunlight/lasers etc. And I was delighted by the slightly rough edge Beau had. No sparkly vampires or lacy, flouncy silk shirts here!

At a few points early in the book I worried that Aaron was slightly too dependent upon Beau. While I loved how Mr Michael explained very thoroughly how weak, young and new Aaron was – so this dependency really made sense and was completely logical, Aaron’s level of reliance on Beau was deeply submissive. I have to admit though I really enjoyed watching Aaron flourish and grow strong – not just as a vampire, but also as a man and in his relationship with Beau. The pacing was near perfect for me. Slow, gradual and both men needed to work hard and earn it all. This made the whole story a real delight to me and one I know I will thoroughly enjoy reading many times to come.

This is the first of a series, and I really enjoyed the paranormal world Mr Michael has created. There were a number of very strong secondary characters who I presume will be showcased in future books. Aaron and Beau’s relationship was primary throughout the entire book and while they did find a semi-regular human man to feed from (Geoff – I dearly hope his book is one of the upcoming ones) and the feeding was fairly sexual (the M/M/M listed above) this is not a traditional ménage or a committed part to Aaron and Beau’s relationship. Aaron and Beau care for Geoff, enjoy him and feed from him, but they’re not a threesome in a relationship way. Personally, I’m hoping this leaves the door open for Geoff’s own story. Similarly – I’d love to read a story about Beau’s two siblings.

A new and lovely look on the traditional vampire story. I really enjoyed this and am eagerly awaiting new stories in this series. Highly Recommended.

Don’t miss out on these fantasies come true.

Wow. I really loved this book! With four main plots threading delicately together this has plenty going on. It’s a testament to Mr. Michael’s writing skills though that no couple/group gets either overlooked or dwelled on too long. I found the pacing of both the story and the relationships between the couples/groups to be amazing.

Guard, Damien and James run a small island resort for a very select clientele – they allow their clients a safe and welcoming environment where their deepest sexual fantasies can come true. The three men have also been in a ménage relationship until James was hurt. I loved how even though they, themselves aren’t their own clients – their fantasy of getting back together and starting fresh was also clearly one of the longer-term plot arcs. Guard and James are the first characters we’re introduced to – setting up the various fantasies that are about to take place – and I was immediately drawn into their story, curious at the threesome breaking up but also eager for their reunion since it’s so obvious their love is still strong.

There is effectively three proper short stories going on in this book – as well as Guard, Damien and James as a peripheral storyline. Thor and Benji explore a fantasy of body modifications (piercings and tattoos) as well as aspects of the BDSM lifestyle, then Alan and Roman explore voyeurism – Alan submitting while Roman watches – and finally Quinn and Pierce explore Quinn’s medical fantasies together.

While I don’t personally feel there was any “forced seduction” in these fantasties, in a few places the story was being told from the Dom’s perspective. In two instances the Dom/sub pairings were brand new – only having known each other for their time on the island/resort – so the reluctance shown by the subs could potentially be construed as “forced seduction”. There was always safewords though, and never any play rough enough that I felt bordered on abuse – but there is a very fine line between being truly forcing someone and one partner being reluctant in a safe scene. Personally – I feel with the safewords and genuine care shown between all the partners this shouldn’t be on the wrong side of that line, but some of the scenes are quite heavy/emotional and without knowing for a fact the sub is loving every second (ie being told from their point of view) I felt this was worth mentioning. Readers should also know that there is a knife play scene (sensations from the knife – not playing with the blood or full-on harm occurring), and a few medical examination style scenes (sounds, enemas and the like).

All up while there is plenty of fantasy-come-to-life scenes that might push various buttons, I found everything was written in good taste and as sensually as any more regular kinky, erotic story. I particularly enjoyed the characters and loved the different dynamics between couples both brand new and more established. While there might be triggers or parts of scenes that some readers might not find too erotic, I feel this is an excellent book to showcase some of the rarer kinks in a tasteful and safe environment. And just as the icing on the cake – all the fantasy plotlines were resolved with very happy and satisfied endings. There’s also clear hooks for both the next story and for the continuing relationship between Damien, James and Guard. I really enjoyed this and would strongly recommend it if readers are curious about “non-standard” types of kink. A lovely read.

Marty can’t catch a break. Unable to confess to his neighbor Kevin that it’s Kevin he’s interested in, he ends up using advice to make a move on Jason instead. He moves too slowly, though, and Kevin and Jason end up dating each other, leaving Marty out in the cold.

Everything changes the morning Jason wakes up to find Marty in bed with him and Kevin. Jason wonders whether he’s made a big mistake in committing to Kevin. Marty’s mortified—he’s wanted Jason from afar for ages, but never had the courage to act on it. And Kevin is plotting something naughty that will give all three men what they’ve wanted all along.

When Marty is dumped – again – by a fly-by-lover for being dull and clueless, he decides to really start thinking about his life. He’d never been good at making or keeping friends, and so Marty decides it’s high time he learned how to build proper, lasting relationships. Only problem is, Marty discovers that’s not something that can be learned from a book. So he decides to enlist the help of his neighbor, Kevin. Can they work something out between them?

I found this to be a really lighthearted, fun read that kept me giggling off and on throughout the story. I thought both Marty and Kevin were really sweet guys and watching them interact together – especially right at the start – was just glorious fun. There was an innocence to Marty that had me instantly liking him. While sexually and emotionally competent, Marty came across to me as not just super shy, but so unused to communicating and being more than superficially friendly that I found his attempts at being friends and connecting with Kevin really sweet and fun. And while I found Kevin far more socially adept, his eagerness and willingness to help and befriend Marty lent the story an overall positive vibe and left me thinking of the book as one of those “feel good”, pick-me-up types of reads.

Making this lovely, sweet romance even more fun – Kevin urges Marty to test out his new-found social skills on a guy he’s interested in. While Marty is interested in Kevin, he doesn’t want to lose this new, important friendship, so Marty also becomes friends with Jason. Then when Jason and Kevin meet and become friends, this starts to almost feel like some Shakespearian comedy to me. While the entire tone of the story is light, friendly and flirty, there is so much lust and attraction and friendly laughter floating around I had to chuckle with all the antics going on. I really enjoyed this – finding it almost a comedy of errors and just so much fun to read.

Readers looking for a fun, happy M/M/M Ménage story this is perfect. I loved it and have already started searching out other stories by the author. With some hot – but not too kinky – sex and plenty of parts that had me giggling madly, this is a lovely story that I will happily read again and again. Recommended.

Finally, he comes up with a solution to be there at the dinner table carving up the roast for the family meal and satisfy his lover’s sex-craved dreams. Paul is stuck in Amsterdam on a business trip and is really missing his husband Hamish. Their Easter plans are going down the drain too, and Hamish’s family is serving up a nice side-platter of drama. Paul has some kinky ideas though of how they can rescue their Easter Holidays….

This is a deliciously fun, kinky story. While the story definitely revolves around Paul and Hamish and their relationship, a friendly ex of Paul’s, Ethan, helps create a specific fantasy for both Paul and Hamish. While not a traditional threesome – these are both “one time only” deals – all three men do sexually interact together in two luscious, seriously hot scenes. I also liked how Hamish and Ethan struck up a kind of friendship. Ethan might be Paul’s ex, but they’re friendly and still work together occasionally, so seeing Hamish be accepting of this and get to know Ethan a bit was something I really enjoyed reading. All too often the “jealous of the ex” thing tends to overshadow any chance of common ground or friendship and it was refreshing for me to see Hamish act like a secure, grown man. I also felt this might easily lead into a following story, perhaps revolving around Ethan and I’d really enjoy reading that. I was a little disappointed that the ending seemed sudden – while there wasn’t exactly a cliffhanger I feel fairly certain the story is far from over. Readers who like every loose end tied up might find that frustrating – but it’s an excellent way to ensure people continue to look for the next book!

I really liked how about half way through the story the perspective swapped from Paul to Hamish. This helped me get into both of the men’s heads better and I liked the feeling of understanding both men quite closely. Readers should be aware while written in a fun, light and slightly humorous manner there is a fair bit of kink to the sex between Paul, Hamish and Ethan. There is a fairly serious Puppy Play scene – which I personally found tastefully written and pretty darn hot to read – but might not be a kink all readers will enjoy indulging in. Personally I felt the sex was dealt with really well and readers who are curious about Puppy Play or just kink in general might want to give this short story a try just to see what it’s like.

A fun, sexy story that should had me reaching for a lovely cool drink. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for other kinky stories by these authors.

Zane is dead tired, beaten and stranded in his broken down truck when Butch happens by. With no other options, Zane lets Butch bring him home and patch him up. Despite knowing better, Zane is drawn to Butch and his artist boyfriend, Randy. Can the three men find a way to all fit together?

This is a strongly emotional read, one that I really loved. Zane’s character is at his lowest point and I couldn’t help but instantly fall in love with him. While it’s clear he’s timid, beaten and really down there’s a spark of something strong and great in him and I loved seeing it shine through. I also really loved how Butch seemed to sense it too. And Randy is a delight – I adored Randy instantly. A slightly crazy, brash and absentminded artist and is exactly the kind of glue I could see to hold this random-seeming threesome together.

Reading about these three men find their new rhythm, in a crazy, sunny and jam-packed home was lovely. I loved how they all came together and felt the pace was perfect. Slow enough that I could see all the pieces fall in together and watch them bond and connect, but not slow enough for me to need to skim or hurry forward. This is a romantic, fun read filled with odd characters, laughter and sunshine. I really loved it.

I can strongly recommend this story and feel readers wanting strong characters, fun and frivolity should enjoy it as much as I have. An excellent story.

Elijah could have resented Jayden or even hated him considering how Elijah lost his mother but it was pretty clear that Joshua had raised him well. The author paints a respectful and loving relationship between Joshua and Elijah. I like that she didn’t make Elijah, or Jayden’s, choice in loving other men be the focus of the tension in this book.

Instead, in comes in the form of Cho, well mostly, but only until they realize that three isn’t a crowd. It’s the final piece that allows them all to be together. These men are very candid. A lot more so than most male leads are, in fact. That part felt a little unrealistic but at the same time, it drives me crazy when the main characters don’t talk openly. Maybe because these men are part of a world that’s so full of secrets, they choose to put their feelings out there. One less secret to be kept. Either way, it moved this story along.

The story is told in a present progressive tense. Meaning, the action is happening as we read it. It’s a little odd to read because I never felt like I was there with the characters, like I was always just a step behind him them watching the action. For example: “He is running” “He is fighting”. It’s similar to a first person POV type story except that I wasn’t seeing the action from the eyes of one the characters, it simply played out and I was on the outside rather than feeling like I was part of the story. Not a story killer, just different.

There are some editing issues. Not so many that I was constantly drawn out of the story, more like speed bumps. Slowed the pace for a second but then it picks back up.

The premise of the story is good. It didn’t take long to figure out the mystery but I was vested enough in the relationship between Elijah, Jayden and Cho by that point, I wanted to see how it played out. Cho has a secret that would be beneficial to the case but could possibly be detrimental to the relationship. At least he thinks so. The constant sexual tension that vibrates off the men was pretty hot. Everyone is a little unsure so, when they finally get past the “what if’s” they burned up the sheets.

Though I wasn’t expecting the odd tense the story is told in, I’m glad I took the time to read it and give it a chance. Readers who enjoy a good paranormal should give this one a try.

Living a loveless existence is hard for any shifter, but having DNA spliced with creatures who stand out from the crowd is damn near impossible. Which is why four experimented-on souls decide to break free from the chains that hold them, climb the fences that circle them, and go in search of adventure, passion and most of all, their mates.

But nothing worth having is ever easy, and for Sharkorilla, Pugorilla, Kangorilla and Elephorilla, this is definitely the case. They’ve come to the end of one very long, hard and frustrating road, but now, with the help of men who have big hearts, they must shed their fears, accept their bodies, and be true to the desires that burn within them. The only problem is, will they get away with it?

Kangorilla – Joey has it tough. Not only has he been spliced with a kangaroo and a gorilla, he’s also been brought to the other side of the world. Feeling exploited, desperate and wishing he had love, companionship and acceptance, he takes the risk of leaving the compound in the search of happiness. But will he find it? Or has the person he’s drawn to got other ideas? It certainly seems that way as the temperature goes from boiling hot to downright frosty.

Joey might have escaped the lab with his fellow inmates, but danger still tails them. Taking a quick break in a pub near the moors, Joey is smitten by the bar-keep, Ryder and his equally delicious twin Devon. Sparks fly and what was supposed to be a short stop changes drastically as Joey realizes the importance of the twins and the chance they all could take together.

This is a hilariously fun book and bloody sexy to boot. Sit down, shut everything else out and enjoy this fun, hot short story. I couldn’t help but giggle in many places (bent as a boomerang!) even while Joey, Ryder and Devon started to steam up the pages. Despite the tongue-in-cheek aspect of a Kangaroo/Gorilla spliced human, I think Ms. Harlem has done an excellent job balancing out the cheeky good humour and the steamy romance. While I’m sure the plot is meant to be a bit of a lark, I actually really enjoyed it. There are intricacies and issues with multi-animal splicing that I’d never thought of before, and the author does a brilliant job of bringing those in and still keeping the heat simmering nicely.

I found the sex to be blisteringly hot, but also full of romance and a good, deep connection. There was no question in my mind the three sexy men would move forward in their lives together and share plenty of laughs, fun and adventures. While a part of me wished there’d been many more chapters, this gorgeous short story was deeply satisfying. I was also impressed that while this book is clearly part of a larger story – Joey’s spliced friends who had escaped with him – I thoroughly enjoyed this book as a stand alone. I usually can’t bear to read a middle story in a series, but this one really does stand perfectly well by itself.

A fun, lighthearted and sexy romp of a story I found this delicious and well-balanced both as a hot read and as a romantic story of three men coming together. Highly Recommended.
