Nobody is more surprised than Alan when Tyler returns, but he’s glad. For him, it’s a chance to set things right. Little does he guess he and Tyler will find the missing pieces of themselves in each other. Old rivalries are left in the ashes, passion burns bright, and the possibility for a future together stretches in front of them….

But not everyone in town is glad to see Tyler return….

After years of constant moving around, Tyler has a young son, Abraham, to look after and so he’s decided to return to his hometown and put down some roots. Even though Tyler has some issues with his parents, the pull of his home, the stability and particularly the comfort for his son has Tyler willing to try and make things work. Alan had a desperate crush on Tyler when they were in high school, and seeing his childhood dream walk back into town and his life was both thrilling and terrifying.

I really enjoyed this emotional and well written full length story. Tyler and Abey instantly drew me in and engaged my feelings. It was clear Tyler – and particularly young Abey – were complicated characters with a number of layers and a long, intriguing story behind them. I was mentally settled in for a long read before the first chapter had even finished. I found Alan to be a lot less complicated, but so warm and interesting I really thought it beautifully balanced out a lot of the mystery and more difficult aspects of Tyler and Abey’s situation.

I thought the author kept a good pace throughout the story. While the plot is mostly character-related I thought there were enough smaller threads winding through it to keep things really interesting. I loved watching Tyler and Alan re-learn each other as adults, both with how they’d grown up but also as they’d taken to their own paths and still circled back to the same space again. While there was some small-mindedness in other members of the town I felt this really added to the plot. Overall the pace was smooth enough that I could see Tyler and his family grow, and Tyler and Alan’s relationship begin and flourish, but it wasn’t so fast that I felt it verged on being unrealistic or rushed. Readers who like a story that gives the main couple a chance to settle together, learn and grow with each other and then consummate their relationship should find this story and pace as deeply satisfying as I did.

When the sparks finally fly between Tyler and Alan I found it really lovely. It was well into the story and I thought the timing was very well handled. I found the scenes intimate and erotic but not over the top or so prolific it made the rest of the story feel neglected. I really felt the author did a brilliant job of balancing the small-town feel with realistic characters, a strong cast of secondary support characters and a lovely, slow-blooming relationship between Tyler and Alan.

Well balanced, steamy and very well written, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and will happily read more by this author.

Liam is a werewolf with the ability to change his human guise. He’s always been able to fool others… until he meets David, who not only sees who he really is but how he truly feels. But Liam has a deep craving, something he continually confuses with rage, and this just might drive David away.

David had always known he was different, half Fae, half Werewolf he had never been accepted into the pack and had lost his father at a young age to the distrust and hatred amongst the other wolves. Liam’s special power comes from being able to change his image. While he knows he’s expected to follow certain paths, what he really wants to do is help people and becoming a medic would satisfy that need in him. When David and a bunch of other young werewolves are attacked by vampires Liam is part of the medical team helping them and their attraction is instantaneous.

I found this to be an interesting and somewhat intensely plotted short story. While the vampire-swam attacks isn’t graphically described and is only vaguely mentioned at the beginning of the story, it does include a mention that some of the younger women were being raped and I feel even this vague reference might put off some readers. I also found that the brief summary of David’s history felt a little bit like an info-dump – a lot of history and description in a very short space that I had to catch up on in a rush. After this initial part though, I felt the story eased back into a far more suitable pace and particularly when Liam’s character was introduced I felt the story settled down to be a good and interesting read.

There was quite a bit to this paranormal world that I struggled to catch up on, with vampires, Fey and shape-changers and werewolves and a whole host of various paranormal entities swirling around it wasn’t easy for me to fully grasp how this world worked and interacted with each other. I really enjoyed the chemistry and connection between David and Liam. I was pleased they started out slowly together – particularly since David had been hurt and wasn’t in a very good place emotionally – and Liam was struggling with some pretty serious life decisions.

Watching them interact and open up to each other was lovely. The slower pace of the physical side to their romance also added a bit of realism to the relationship and I felt this was far healthier – for both men – than trying to just push through and become intimate. I thought this was a good indication both of how serious Liam and David were about each other, but also it showed that there was a real, long-term potential to the relationship they were building together. When they consummated their relationship I though the sex was hot and intense and graphic enough that erotica readers should find it explicit enough to suit their tastes.

Intense in places and wonderfully romantic in others, this was a solid short story and a good, quick read.

Kane doesn’t want to rush into things, but they seem meant to be — if they can just get past Kane’s fear of picking the wrong man.

Jessup was a founding member of Club Endless, and while the club had moved forward with the times – and still as amazing now as the day it had opened – Jessup himself was starting to feel tired and in need of a break. It wasn’t until a friend mentioned to Jess how his demeanor changed when talking about one of the waiters, Kane, that Jess realised there was definitely some chemistry burning between them. Can Kane give Jess exactly what he’s searching for?

I found this to be a fun and sexy short story. I was really pleased that Jess and Kane didn’t simply glance at each other and jump into bed. While for such a short length story that sort of quickness is often understandable I really enjoyed getting to know a bit about both Kane and Jess – both their personalities and where they were emotionally right now in their lives. It helped not just set the scene for me but also showed me as the reader why and how they could slot so nicely into each other’s lives and work together as a couple.

I also really enjoyed how – again despite the shortness to the story – I didn’t feel that either Kane nor Jess were cookie cutter types of characters. While not outrageous, both men had backgrounds and distinctive elements to their personality and situation to help them feel to me as if they weren’t just bland or random people filling out the story. This really helped me connect better to them and I found myself quickly emotionally invested in both men and the story itself. The conflict wasn’t anything fresh or unique – but I did like how it was handled and I feel the author did an excellent job of using the scene to add depth to the relationship between Kane and Jess and showcase just how invested and connected the two men had grown with each other in such a short length of time.

I really enjoyed the sex scenes – finding them hot and intense but not too envelope-pushing. Readers used to BDSM should find this hot and enjoyable but still quite standard. I enjoyed the connection and chemistry between Jess and Kane but did get a little tired of them both (Kane in particular) insisting they not move too quickly, then doing just that. While I completely understood where both men were coming from I felt that aspect went on a little longer than was logical – even into the start of their sex scene when it was quite clear they were going to consummate the relationship after the first date.

Hot and sexy, I found this to be a good and fun short story. I really enjoyed the characters and found the relationship between the two men to be interesting and well written.

Short and steamy, this was a lovely quick read. I enjoyed the interplay between Bellah and Dalton and while the plot itself is not particularly novel I liked the connection and emotion that was so obvious between the two main characters. Readers who are looking for a sexy, comfortable and quick story should find this really fits their needs. With a slightly cartoonish villain and no shocks in the way the story unfolds, I found the story really sits on Bellah and Dalton’s characters and the strength of their romance and connection together. I’m not certain the way in which Bellah and Dalton finally admitted – and acted upon – their feelings will be every reader’s cup of tea, some might find it a little unflattering or unrealistic, but I definitely felt that Bellah and Dalton had a strong and long-standing attraction and good chemistry so their progress from professional to intimate wasn’t too much of a stretch for me.

I found myself quickly turning the pages and the sex between Bellah and Dalton was steamy and sensual. With a strong emotional connection between them and a long-simmering need it was wonderful to see them come together and start a more intimate relationship together.

When both she and JD are abducted they’re thrown into a crazy situation and will need to work together to try and escape with their lives.

While I found both Mae and JD’s characters interesting and realistic, the situation they find themselves in was startling and felt somewhat unbelievable. I was a little surprised that they both – Mae in particular – didn’t appear to be overly worried or fearful about their situation. While I can understand people react differently to danger and stress, it made the surreal feeling only stronger when neither of them freaked out very much. I found it strange and jarring to my belief in their story, considering the fact they’d been kidnapped by balaclava-clad men with stun guns and locked in an underground bunker.

Aside from this aspect to the plot, I otherwise found Mae and JD’s characters to be interesting and interact together really well. Mae struck me as a modern, sassy and intelligent woman that I could relate to and JD had a delicious edge of mystery and intrigue that hovered around him from the first few pages. This really helped keep my attention and with the short length of the story I eagerly turned the pages to discover what happened next.

The sex between Mae and JD was hot and felt relatable to. I thought this particular aspect to the story was well paced – fast enough to not feel like an add-on to the end of the story, but not right at the start of their kidnapping which would have felt fake to me. I also enjoyed how Mae and JD had plenty of (admittedly enforced) time together to get to know each other a bit. This helped make their growing relationship feel understandable and to a degree relatable.

Slightly over the top, this fast-paced short story was both interesting and sexy. I feel readers willing to disconnect their brains and just sit back and enjoy the ride should enjoy this and particularly feel a good connection to the two main characters.

When three Special forces guys are sent to their base after a mission goes sideways Rick is surprised when one of them – Becket – seriously turns him on. The two men have enough chemistry to set the place on fire, but can they find their way together?

I really enjoyed this short story. I felt the author did a really good job blending the story so it looked like Rick was doing one thing when actually something completely different was occurring. While the reader should certainly be able to sift out the truth from the impressions fleeting glances and quick looks gives the three new soldiers I found it added an interesting (and for me personally, very different!) element to the story. Usually mis-communications irritate me and I often find them to be illogical, but in this story I found then funny and almost slightly slap-stick the way Becket in particular kept on misinterpreting the situation around Rick and his role in their team. This added a level of humour to the story which isn’t common and I enjoyed it. A part of me wondered if the misconceptions would hamper Rick and Becket being able to trust each other enough to start anything other than a Happy For Now style of relationship, but I was again pleased when Rick discovered what Becket truly thought fairly promptly and they could both deal with the fall out.

Sexy and fun, I found that this was a different style of soldier-based story. The sex was steamy hot and well written, the connection between Rick and Becket real enough I found it believable. While I’m not sure the plot of mis-communication will be every readers cup of tea, I personally enjoyed it and will definitely be keeping an eye out for other stories written by this author. There were a number of strong secondary characters who were given enough time and story that I am hoping they will be featured in subsequent stories.

Sexy and fast paced, this was a good story and one I can recommend.

Jessie couldn’t believe it when she bumped into her old crush, Chase, at the employment office. Even less could she believe the two adorable twin toddler girls Chase had in tow. Chase has been struggling since his sister decided she couldn’t handle being a mother to her one year old twin girls anymore and left them with Chase. He’s determined to do right by his nieces, but he hardly knows anything about caring for two small children, so meeting Jessie again seemed like sweet serendipity.

I found this to be a lovely, sweet and slow-moving romance. I enjoyed how both Chase and Jessie weren’t simplistic characters, but complicated and had a number of different layers. Even though they had grown up together and knew each other well they’d each continued along their own path – Jessie going into the big city to become a lawyer and Chase taking over his family land – and so there was still plenty the two could learn about each other as adults.

I also found a lot of comfort and enjoyment out of the plot. While not fresh or unique in any way, there’s something lovely about reading a well-known type of tale – childhood friends returning home, re-establishing the connection always burning between them, adapting and embracing the circumstances find each other in. Add in some adorable kids and adjusting to life as responsible adults and there was plenty I found to keep me eagerly turning the pages.

I could understand if some readers might be disappointed that there wasn’t anything particularly new or fresh to this story, but I believe that readers interested in a comfortable, well-written and slow paced sweet romance should find plenty here to enjoy. Even the areas of conflict – Jessie hiding a pretty important secret and the drama of inter-family jealousies – were well-worn plots but didn’t have me too concerned as a reader, knowing everything would settle down and come right. I also found the balance between the plot and conflict, and the slow-burning growth of the romance between Jessie and Chase was handled very well by the author and really sold me on how lovely this story as a whole was.

With interesting, complicated characters, a well-known storyline and plenty of interest from the cast of youngsters I found this to be an enjoyable small-town, family-orientated style of full length story and one I really enjoyed. Recommended.

Both Jack and Peter have changed in the past decade, but they’ve only become more compatible, with preferences that complement each other perfectly and chemistry that flares back to life with a speed that amazes them. But Peter fears he’ll drive Jack away as he has so many others, and Jack will have to work hard to earn Peter’s trust.

For a while now Jack has been focused on building up his business and while he has no regrets, he privately can admit to feeling a little lonely. Still, he’s surprised when he says yes and allows his friend, Tide, set up a blind date for Jack with a guy – Peter – who is a friend of Tide’s partner Lance. Both Jack and Peter are shocked when they both get to the restaurant – they dated back in high school and had only broken up because their lives were moving on different paths. Excited to be back in each other’s lives, Jack and Peter are eager to explore the men they’ve both become and see if an old flame can be reignited.

I found this to be a delicious and somewhat sweet full length story. I really loved how realistic the BDSM aspects to both Jack and Peter’s personalities and needs were shown throughout this story. I thought the slow, gradual way they opened to each other helped set a good (and more importantly, realistic) pace to their romance. It didn’t bother me that they were happy to jump into the more intimate side of their relationship early because they’d known each other through high school and that trust and friendship was still present. I thought it added a lot of interest that neither man was the somewhat sweeter and more innocent kid they’d been so that re-learning of each other added to the plot in my opinion. Their more adult tastes and desires – like Peter’s need in the bedroom, or his enjoyment of wearing corsets, or Jack’s hunger to be Dominant – took more time to both explore and for each man to open to the other about. I really enjoyed this realism, but also found it made the pace of the story itself work really well for me. It made me really connect with both men’s characters, but also added a deeper layer of emotion and vulnerability which I enjoyed almost as much as the kink and sexual aspects of the story.

I also really enjoyed how, while much of the story revolved around the sexual and intimate actions between Jack and Peter, there were plenty more “real life” scenes to the story. Jack baking up a childhood treat for himself and Peter, or the two men meeting each other’s dogs – normal, relatable, “easy” scenes that showed me what each man’s character was life outside the bedroom. I found this so refreshing for an intensely erotic story – but also loved seeing that the two men were building a solid, stable relationship which I could so easily identify with. I strongly feel readers who even usually don’t enjoy kinkier stories or elements of BDSM could genuinely enjoy much of this story and would recommend it for readers unsure whether they want to dip a toe into this style of story.

The sex was deliciously explicit and also fairly kinky. While I personally didn’t feel there was anything too hardcore or pushing the envelope it was most certainly flavoured by the BDSM scene. Peter has a number of piercings and enjoys the sensation of being “held” that wearing a corset under his clothes gives him. There’s also plenty of toys and a few scenes of spanking – but I personally felt the clear love and chemistry between the two men lent each of the sex scenes an air more of intimacy and erotic playing – rather than something darker or edgier that BDSM lifestyle stories often portray.

A well rounded, deliciously sexy but still sweetly relatable story – I loved this book. I thoroughly enjoyed Jack and Peter’s characters and firmly believe in both their romance, relationship and compatibility as partners. An excellent story I shall enjoy reading a number of times in the future.

When Chloe and Dominic’s worlds both get torn apart the summer before Chloe starts college they each will need to face some hard truths that they’ve both been denying. Can they resettle their world, together?

I enjoyed this steamy short story. With a lovely slow and detailed beginning, I was pleased that Chloe and Dominic didn’t simply act on their feelings the moment Chloe came of age. There were a number of complications hampering both Chloe and Dominic and obstacles they each needed to overcome before they were clear and in the right place to act on their long-standing attractions. I was also very relieved, personally, that Dominic was clearly shown as being genuinely in love and besotted with Chloe’s aunt – there was no shenanigans or questioning Dominic’s motives and this helped ease me into really enjoying both Dominic’s character and being happy with the way Chloe and Dominic’s relationship grew over time.

While I needed to throw logic out of the window to a degree – too many things clicked perfectly into place at exactly the same time for me to feel it was truly realistic – I don’t feel the author stretched the boundary of realism too far. More importantly, I found the gradual easing of Dominic and Chloe’s relationship from that of family who shared a special connection and into something more to be both well written and tastefully handled. I’m not certain this will be every readers cup of tea, there is no blood-tie between Chloe and Dominic but there is still the family connection and Chloe was young when her (innocent) attraction to Dominic began. Readers looking for something sexy and only slightly taboo should find this suits their tastes.

I was pleased the intimacy didn’t begin until about half way through the short story. Personally I feel a story like this needed the longer build-up, showing and outlining how this wasn’t some kinky fantasy or darker story unfurling, but simply two people who grew over time to love and appreciate each other. And when Chloe and Dominic did finally explore the more physical aspect of their attraction the sex between them was hot and explicit.

Slightly naughty, this is a good and strongly written short story I feel should appeal to many readers.

Can Jerome and Trevor find their way together?

I found this to be a fun and deliciously slow-moving sexy romance. I was pleased the fuller length of the story allowed the author to really show us Trevor and Jerome’s characters – where they were in their lives and what kind of people they were individually – before we watched them connect, click together and start to form their relationship. While at times I felt the pace between them was a little slow, it was also understandable as Trevor in particular was still not in a good place from his recent breakup. I feel the slow burn and gradual build up of the relationship might be a little slow for some readers. While it made the story a lot more realistic to me, and the connection and emotion between the two men was very well drawn, I did at times feel that there was a little too much hesitancy on each man’s side and this allowed small flutters of doubt creep into my mind.

I really enjoyed the men’s characters. They felt well drawn, emotional and realistically complex. I also was pleased that the author didn’t have Trevor hang around and turn his very brief holiday into a longer-term thing right away. That would have been something very easy for the author to do to push the romance between the men, but I feel the book and the plotline was far stronger for giving Jerome and Trevor a bit of space and time. I feel this “away from each other” section on the book was very well handled.

Readers looking for a deeply emotional book should really love this. I enjoyed reading about Trevor and Jerome as they connected with each other, eased each other’s hurts and most importantly learned about one another’s lives. This book is filled with interesting facts about Ireland and Brussels and I feel the author was really deft handling these facts – not info-dumping on the reader but weaving it skillfully into the story. The connection and emotion between the two men is absolutely the highlight for me of the story and goes a long way to making me want to pick up more stories by this author.

A strongly written, lovely full length story this is a great read.
