Tangled Love is the story of two great estates. The throne has been usurped by James II’s daughter and son-in-law, Mary and William of Orange. In 1693, loyal to his oath of allegiance, ten-year old Richelda’s father must follow James to France.

Before her father leaves, he gives her a ruby ring she will treasure and wear on a chain round her neck. In return, Richelda swears an oath to try to regain their ancestral home, Field House.
Nonetheless, there are several instances where the promoters are buying out viagra canada price the partners and putting the country through yet another agony. Impotence, or erectile cialis in spain dysfunction (ED), is a common problem among most males today. It improves muscular functioning and energy cheap cipla tadalafil levels. And as viagra without prescriptions for the jelly, you just need to believe in yourself and gain back your confidence.
By the age of eighteen, Richelda’s beloved parents are dead. She believes her privileged life is over. At home in dilapidated Belmont House, her only companions are her mother’s old nurse and her devoted dog, Puck. Clad in old clothes, she dreams of elegant dresses, and trusts her childhood friend Dudley, a poor parson’s son, who promised to marry her, but he is not as he seems.

Richelda’s wealthy aunt takes her to London and arranges her marriage to Viscount Chesney, the new owner of Field House. Richelda is torn between love for Dudley and her oath to regain Field House, where it is rumoured there is treasure. If she finds it, Richelda hopes to ease their lives. However, while searching for it, will her life be in danger?

We get to meet Richelda Shaw as a young child, confused by the politics of 1693 England where James II, the real King of England has been overthrown by his daughter Mary and her husband William. This affects her whole life as her father left to go to France to join the real king and left her and her Mother virtually penniless. The one thing that saves the family is the fact that Bellemont Manor is in her mother’s name. We get to learn about the main mission of her life, to regain the ancestral estate of Field House as she promised her father. Another reason she wants to regain Field House is because of the family legend. This legend is a common thread woven through the story of how one of their ancestors, a buccaneer named Sir Nicholas hid a fortune in Field House. The figurehead of Sir Nicholas’s ship whom he called Lady Luck was still placed on the fireplace mantel.

I adore Chesney; his good looks are only matched by his golden heart. He never lies to Richelda. He makes sure that she knows that he not only likes her for her beauty but also her spunk, and care for her friends, including the mongrel of a dog she had in the country. Her feelings for Chesney confuse her as her body responds to his touch and kisses but her brain rebels at each step. When she finds out that he had a mistress, and meets her in person when she calls upon her aunt a line is drawn between them.

I did think there was a little too many unnecessary details. There were some things I thought could have been cut without affecting the story. It could make for some long reading, mostly after Richelda had a fight with Chesney.

This was a wonderful, romantic, action packed novel that shows that you never really know someone until push comes to shove. It also shows that jealousy can make or break a relationship and opening one’s heart up and talking through feelings can keep from relationships breaking, and that being naïve about feelings can get you in a ton of trouble. Love can come to those that wait though and perseverance can break down any wall.

When Reggie sets out to continue his mother’s mission to feed the homeless, he never anticipated how much a chance encounter with an injured man, his small, gaunt dog, Roscoe, and sick, young cat, Cinders, would change the course of his life. With a winter storm approaching, Reggie makes a snap decision and brings the wary trio to his estate home to be cared for and nursed back to health.

Reggie learns the man’s name is Calvin, he was a quartermaster in the army, and he was dishonorably discharged prior to the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”. Taking pity on the man and in need of someone to help him run his mother’s foundation, Reggie offers Calvin a job. With few prospects in sight to find shelter for his small family during the peak of winter, Calvin reluctantly accepts Reggie’s offer on a trial basis, but that it is only one of many trials both men will face.

Eventually, yearnings Reggie and Calvin had buried deep inside begin to fan the nearly extinguished embers of passion in both men. With Calvin drawing emotional support from Roscoe and Cinders, and Reggie discovering an ally in his beloved housekeeper, both men explore their newfound attraction, edging them toward the precipice of an ecstasy neither could have imagined.

Will the discovery of a past connection between the two men’s families be enough to bring them together? Or will sinister, outside forces and an unexpected loss of life shatter the bonds between both families and both men for good?

Reggie Scottsdale is following his mother’s example and helping those that are extremely down on their luck and sleeping on the streets. He noticed a young man with a sign that stated, “I ask not for me, but for them.” On the sign there was a well-drawn picture of a dog’s head and a cat’s head. When he pulled over, he saw a young man with a child’s sleeping bag that was covering a terrier named Roscoe and a little kitten named Cinders. Reggie left, knowing that he had done all that he could do, yet on his way back home he heard his mother’s voice in the back of his head telling him to turn around and take Cretin to a hotel even though he already gave him money.

Yet, when he did go back, he found Cretin laying on the ground with a large bleeding gash on his head, his stuff torn apart and gone, and poor Roscoe and Cinders curled up around him. Reggie knew that there was only one thing that he could do, he gathered all three of them into his car and brought them to a cottage that was on his estate. He made sure that there were vets and doctors were waiting for them. During the cleanup process they learned his true name was Calvin Chadwick.

Calvin is a strong man with a heart of gold who only thought of his pets–or as he calls them that his ‘babies’. The author did a wonderful job of showing how far our army veterans can fall through the cracks as Calvin had been a quartermaster in the Gulf War. He had been able to hold down a few jobs, enough to keep an apartment. Reggie is a man that you can’t help but admire for his self-sacrifice and the ability and want to help those in need.

What brought tears to my eyes is when Reggie finds Calvin’s family. As it turns out his sister Eloise and their mother were living above a bar where she worked along with his brother, Caleb. Reggie was worried about Calvin’s mother’s health as Eloise was vague about it. Poor Calvin was brought to tears and things became intimate when he blurted out how he felt for Reggie. It was sweet when they both opened their scarred hearts and allowed their love and lust overcome them. As it had been a long time for both, it was extra hot. Beware, you might want a fire extinguisher ready! Then a bit of levity when Roscoe and Cinders entered the room and joined them on the bed, and Cinders got to enjoy some caviar. Then a dose of cold water was thrown on the lovely scene.

One of my other favorite moments was while Virginia was yelling at Calvin, Roscoe and Cinders came to his rescue. They ended up jumping on the table making a mess as they slid across the tablecloth and knocking everything over. Roscoe was barking and Cinders was hissing at her, this caused Peabody to pee all over her and making her run from the room.

I absolutely loved this book as it shows how humans can see beyond themselves to help others. Love and devotion given is often repaid twice over. This is a wonderful plot that again shows how our veterans are slipping through the cracks and not getting the support they deserve. We learn that if someone’s given a second chance, they can turn their lives around. I also really enjoyed the connection between Roscoe and Cinders with Calvin, drawing strength from each other. The reader also gets to see how one heart can heal the other after both have been injured from those that they trusted.

Who knew love could be found at the dog park?

Cameron Johnson wants to fall in love. He’d also like the man he’s interested in to like dogs, too. Why? He considers his black Lab, Winston, to be family. If the dog and the guy don’t get along, the deal is off. Except there’s one man who’s caught Cameron’s attention…and he’s got a Collie.

Josh McDowell didn’t start visiting the dog park to find a date. He wanted to exercise his Collie, Dolly. His dog, though, has other ideas. Once she meets Winston, she’s smitten. His owner is rather easy on the eyes, too. Josh gathers his nerve and makes the first move. Cameron is his kind of man—sweet, quiet, smart and a dog person. Their connection is strong, but with Josh’s insecurities and Cameron’s fear of commitment, will it last?

You don’t expect to meet the best thing to happen to you at a dog park. That is what happens to Cameron and Josh, both men who are devoted to their dogs and have been eyeing each other for several months. Nothing may have happened if their dogs, Dolly the collie, and Winston, the black Lab, hadn’t fallen in love with each other and brought their owners closer. Josh gathers his courage and takes Cameron on a date. The sparks between them are hot and fast.

This was a sweet and well-done romance novel. I love the characters and how well developed they are, and their interactions with their dogs is such a major part of the book. If you don’t love their dog, you can’t be with them. It seems like they are made for each other. I enjoyed the intimacy between them, it’s well done hot and sweet at the same time.

There are issues in the relationship just as any other. I did not like the character of Lance, who was Cameron’s ex-boyfriend. The author does a good job of depicting a man who thinks everyone should love him. He knows how to play on Josh’s personal demons.

I like how the author makes each person have some sort of quirk, like Josh is not appreciated at work. He is a tech geek and he worries constantly that this will drive Cameron from him. The author shows how each one will stand up for the other. One of my favorite scenes is when they are at a ball that Josh’s company is hosting and Cameron stands up for him when he is getting flack from other employees. This does make their relationship stronger, it shows them that they can make it through anything, as long as they talk together.

If you love dogs as much as I do, enjoy seeing two men find a special romance, and the baddies getting what they deserve this is a book for you. It was sweet, hot, and perfectly balanced. A great read for a cold winter night.

His kisses make my knees weak, and just one touch makes me dream of forever. He makes me feel… special. Precious. Important. But what would a man like him want with collateral damage? He can have any woman he wants, and probably has. I don’t see a happily-ever-after in our future, no matter how much I might want one.

Viktor: Death and destruction cling to me, blood and violence just a way of life. I didn’t climb my way toward the top of the Bratva by being a saint. I may be gruff and dangerous, take what I want when I want, but when it comes to Cerys, I find that I can’t be harsh with her. She’s gentle. Sweet. An angel. My myshka. She’s the light to my darkness. Now that I have her, I know that I can’t let her go. I’ll make her mine in every way possible. Only one problem. Artur Orlov. I’ll get her back, and if she’s been harmed in any way, I won’t stop until every last man responsible has breathed their last.

Meet Cerys, a blind woman who is abused by her father and who lost her mother. Victor is a high member of the Russian Bratva and Cerys catches his interest. He even gives her a nickname myshka which means mouse. To protect her from another one of his commanders who had been pushing him to marry his daughter, he married Cerys.

Cerys is a strong woman, who has to face the outside world suddenly. She had never gone very far from her home and each experience is new for her. It’s obvious by several experiences that she has trouble in crowds, for example when she was going to get new clothes and had a panic attack. She is surprised at the difference in Victor from when they are home and when they were out in public. Like any of us facing a new situation and the love that develops so quickly, she is unsure if he really wanted her forever or if he would leave her. What she learned about her sexual preferences surprises her. She ends up liking the spanking and even the anal play.

Victor is a tough, hard-hearted man and able to keep himself and Cerys safe. He was attracted to her at first sight and impressed by her bravery, even knowing that her father was a jerk. He When he noticed all the bruises on her and finds out that it was his father’s fault, he even went back to show him that he had ruined a treasure. The poor guy didn’t know how to handle a woman he wanted to keep, and when he gives her jewelry he doesn’t understand why she is not ecstatic. He opens his heart to her, slowly realizing that he loved her even though he thought he was never able to love.

I did think that their relationship was too fast and the fact that they fell in love so quickly was a little crazy. I did enjoy the story, especially being blind myself and reading how she navigates the world. The author does a good job keeping her in character. This is a wonderful love story where a hard man learns that love makes a man stronger than being seen as a man who kept himself apart.

As Lucian is the head of the family and takes his duty to them seriously, he goes to the Bow Street Runners for help. Unfortunately, there’s a dead body and it’s the uncle.

The characters in this novel are well developed and full of colorful personalities. I liked them all. The plot is original and drew me in right away. I enjoyed the wonderful description of the world, the culture, and the colorful characters all around them. I really was surprised at the ending, too. My two favorite characters are older fish wives named Mrs. Gow and her best friend Mrs. Gudge. They are the typical hard-working, hard-drinking, poorer woman who are also merry and loyal to those that are their friends. The banter between them whenever they appear made me laugh.

Will, Maggie, and Lucian’s relationship developed well and I liked how the author treated them throughout the story. More like a pair of brothers, and Maggie, rather than three people who met each other in another way. Their getting close was a treat to read.

There are some obstacles along the way and the ending wasn’t what I expected. I won’t give the ending away, but it made me yearn for the next story for these three. It is a friendship that should not be severed and I hope that there is another book that has them together.

My people are dying out, and if my generation doesn’t find compatible mates soon then my people will become extinct. When I hear of a race called Humans who are capable of breeding with Elorian males, I know we must find some and convince them to mate with single males on Elora.

Remember – if you have a damaged liver avoid viagra overnight canada any form of alcohol! Have you ever think why people of rural areas do not suffer with cialis cost canada such kind of diseases? They are following natural way of elimination as they are using energy, could generally “care less” about how that energy is produced, unless they are participating in a large-scale national or international “mission” related to energy. Their home planet is too far from my own, but a ship of slaves crash-landed on X-2 five hundred years ago and many were of the Human race. It’s there I know I’ll find the females who will save my kind.

It never occurred to me that I would be the first to claim a mate, or that she would have been so horribly abused. Despite her horrific past, my sweet Marcy gives me a chance, and now that she’s mine I will do anything in my power to protect her.

On the Colony of X-2 we meet a young woman named Marcy suffering at the hands of a male named Bruce. Women on the colony are treated as slaves and they have to do anything a male tells them to or face the punishment. Most of the punishments are public so the others would know what would happen to them.

Macy is a strong woman who did her best to survive in a situation that would break most. The horror that all the women were going through would cause anyone to feel anger. When the Elorians find out how the women are in such straits, they find it hard to control their rage. Her courage by taking the chance on leaving with J-Ril is commendable.

The Elite Commander, K-Tan, was on a mission to find these women because his people are facing extinction. When he met Marcy in his room, he wanted her. Their love is sweet and hot at the same time. I enjoyed seeing Marcy finally opening herself to a man and the ability to feel desire. Her trust was hard to earn due to her abuse from other men, and she was still was wary around others. Yet when she became pregnant, K-Tan still decided that he needed to take her home to his planet, as it wasn’t safe at her colony. I was glad when they decided that the rest of the men would take care of the rest of the woman, and that they would not force them to take the Elorians force to mate them.

I loved reading this story, seeing such a sweet relationship develop from a horrible situation. The bond between them is something all men and woman crave, and few find. Great reading.

Things go terribly wrong when Ethan’s jet suffers from mechanical trouble and almost gets killed. She is known for her reckless behavior as in a previous book she had stolen their most guarded spaceship, the Liberty Bell, with help from a robot name Madison. She flew the ship into their enemies, the Crownaxians space to rescue her father and other captured individuals. Most people think of her as a hero but Gen. Knox considers her a reckless and undisciplined young woman. As punishment, she is sent on a mission to the union planet Janar, whose northern continent had suffered extreme storm damaage and needed supplies and medical help. She would be under the command of Capt. Yale Brown who is a close friend and confident for Amy and who is the real captain of the Liberty Bell Her co-pilot is Lt. Ford, who does not take a liking to Amy.

Amy is in interesting and complex character with strengths and faults. She is courageous, well-meaning, and has an ability to take charge when a situation calls for it. She does have trouble with listening to orders and putting herself (and sometimes in others) in danger. She also has trouble like any other teenager, especially in the love department. She has a crush on two boys; Ethan and Cole. She is confused on how to handle those feelings. She also has to deal with the competition between the two.

This is a second book in a series for young adults. It is fast paced and interesting with a heroine that many can relate to. It shows how much friendship and a little crush can affect decision making skills. I did think that the story was a little too long and some of the details could have been left out.

The rest of the characters were incredibly well done and relatable. Yale is a strong character who is a perfect role model for Amy. She shows the girl bravery, comradeship, discipline, and the strength to not give up in any situation. Madison, even being a robot, was unable to understand why the other robots were so devoted to their creator. He was the one that found out Dr. Greenland was going to sell them to the enemy. He had the experience of being free and the friendship of Amy which allowed him to experience feelings the others have not.

Ethan, although not a main character, still plays an important role in the story. Besides being a love interest for Amy, he also is a contrast to her personality; he is more cautious, able to follow orders and is not as strong or experienced in battle as Amy. He does help with fixing up Madison after Yale shot him. He is another great support for her along the journey.

An interesting book for young adults and adults to read. It’ll keep your interest because it is full of action and suspense, but also has parts to teach young adults to handle difficult situations. Although it was the second book in the series you don’t need to read the first to make sense of it. It is rather complex so some may have trouble following along but it is well worth it.

They both have a wonderful support system which shows how the rescue community is a family. This makes Megan’s secret even more incredible. Nathan started to get suspicious when she wore a turtleneck on a hot day and had to take it off because it got dirty. He didn’t want to confront her yet as their relationship was still new.

What made him lose his temper and threaten to file a report against her husband Todd was when he found out her ribs were broken and she’s been raped. It was sweet watching him take care of her without making it obvious as she feels a great deal of shame for letting Todd do this to her. Their romantic relationship started slowly with each one’s respect growing. They also noticed the beauty of each other and she felt safe with Nathan like nobody else. He was understanding about the Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome from her husband’s rape.

I highly recommend this novel as it shows how strength of character and physical makes a show to us all. We also get an inside view of how strong the relationship is between all rescue workers. It also reminds us about how battered women can be anyone and the need for support and understanding is highly required.

Darby: At fifteen, I thought I knew everything. Having been in foster care all my life, not much scared me. I’d already faced monsters parading around as upstanding citizens. But life hadn’t prepared me for a biker who would lure me in, kidnap me, and abuse me for five years. I got Fawn out of it, my precious girl, and a lot of bad memories. Being tossed into a dumpster and left to die wasn’t at the top of my list, but Renegade found me. I’ve never had a man be kind to me or my daughter before — especially not a biker — and I’m not sure what to think. I want to trust him, but I don’t want to give him my heart only to have him turn out like every other man I’ve ever known. It would break me.

Renegade: I lost my family a long time ago, and I vowed I’d never have another. I still have Nikki, my baby sis, and that’s enough. My club is a family, but that’s different. I trust them, and in my own way I love them, but it’s not the same as having a wife and kids. I’ll never go down that path. Then I found Fawn and her mother, Darby, thrown away like unwanted trash. Yeah, Fate’s laughing her ass off right now. They’re in my home, and slowly worming their way under my skin. Hearing their story is enough to make my blood boil and send rage flooding through me. I’ll exact revenge for all they’ve suffered, and then they’ll truly be free, able to move on without fear of being taken again. Except… I might not want to let them go.

Renegade, a member of the Devil’s Boneyard Motorcycle Club, was at the liquor store stacking up on booze when he heard a noise and decided to take a look in case someone was going to rob the store. Instead he finds a filthy young girl who wouldn’t talk but showed him to a dumpster. What he finds shocks him. A young woman, beaten, cut, and unconscious was left in the dumpster to die.

The young woman, Darby, had been kidnapped at the age of 15, raped and became pregnant soon after. Boomer, the leader of the Mayhem Riders Nomads, the man who kidnapped her used the two of them against each other to keep them in line. After being rescued by Renegade, she is confused whether or not to trust him with her and her daughter’s safety.

I enjoyed the plot and as soon as I started reading, I couldn’t stop. It is a sobering reminder of what can happen when someone makes a mistake that can change your life forever. We also get to see the resilience of the young and the protectiveness of a mother’s love. Then there is the fact that, although Renegade couldn’t see himself with a family, after a few hours he can’t imagine his life without them.

The characters were complex with their own issues and hopes. I enjoyed seeing Renegade opening his house and heart to the abused women. One of the cutest moments is watching Fawn, the young girl, run into his arms calling him daddy. Fawn’s trust was easy for him to earn as he was the one who rescued her mom but it was heartbreaking seeing her flinch away from everyone else.

Darby remembered Renegade and his sister, as she had gone to high school with his sister Nikki. She had a crush on him, but knew he was too old for her at the time. She was also impressed at how her daughter was treated, with care and love. Another funny moment was watching Renegade buy them both clothing and other items they would need, completely out of his element as he had no idea what they needed.

This is a book full of harsh truths, hope, and a love that overcomes tragedy. It shows that a family can be made from the worst circumstances and that the past isn’t going to hold back those who want to have a new future.
