Women and the sea have been tied together in myth and story from the beginning of time. Tales of women being drawn to the sea or being left on the shore, waiting for their men’s return, have been passed down through the ages.

But what mysteries lie beneath the sparkling placid waters? What power drives the wind and waves crashing against the shore? There is transformation and exaltation—magic—in the ocean and women alike. And both know that while the sea gives, the sea also takes.

Have You Seen This Dragon?

Arbitrance Constable had been missing for over ten years—a short time as Dragons’ lives go, but long enough to cause worry to his family and friends.

At first they thought he might be indulging in the male Dragon’s dual desires for wandering and treasurer hunting—what Dragons rather euphemistically call “questing.” But as the second decade began, Arbitrance’s Companion, Murdan of Overhall, again and again called his mount to no avail. It was unlike Arbitrance to ignore his Companion’s call.

The Constables began to search for him…

The Constables are dragons, and Arbitrance Constable, the father, has gone missing. He hasn’t been seen for ten years, which is a short time for a dragon, but still a matter of concern, especially since he isn’t responding to his companion’s call. Thus begins the search for Arbitrance.

This is the second novel in Don Callander’s Dragon series. The novel begins with a summary of the events in Dragon Companion, so readers will have no trouble starting with this novel. The characters are fully developed, human, elf, and dragon alike and they are a joy to travel with.

The plot is fast-moving with action galore. There is a royal kidnapping and an invasion from the north. The Constable brothers, Retruance and Furbetrance, are aided by Hoarling, the Ice Dragon. Tom, Retruance’s companion, and Mandy, his wife, are in the thick of things, working diligently to foil their enemies.

The world that Callander has created is rich, rewarding, and totally believable. I would love to live in the land of Carolna, if I were as lucky as Tom to be transported there to become the companion of “a fifty-foot, green-and-gold, fire-breathing gentle Dragon named Returance Constable.” Tom saves the day in a variety of ways with his very practical ideas in a land which tends to do everything by magic. Tom is an anomaly in that he is a human in a land of elves, but he is valued and honored for his wisdom and assistance.

The story is intriguing, as well as exciting and fun. It is a real page turner with excellent pacing, lots of twists and turns in the action, and a very satisfactory ending which nonetheless leaves the door open for another book in the series.

Readers of dragon fantasies are sure to enjoy Dragon Rescue. And if you want to treat yourself to exploring the world of Carolna completely, then begin with Dragon Companion, also a great read.

But crazy with bitterness at his past failures, Renschman sets a trap for her, knowing she has no choice but to spring it..

Karen Brown works hard to make her own way in New York, present day, alternate reality, but when her life is threatened after a kidnapping attempt, she must make a decision to stay and be eliminated by a brutal government enforcer, or renounce her citizenship and flee to the land where her mother was born, Roma Nova.

I really enjoyed this novel with its great characters and fast-moving, action filled plot. I was especially intrigued by its alternate world where the European country Roma Nova exists, a neutral but powerful nation founded sixteen centuries ago by Roman exiles. It is a nation run by women and it is here that the few remaining members of Karen’s family reside. Alison Morton has given a real ancient Roman feel to this novel, portraying a world where Latin is still spoken and the land is ruled by the twelve families descended from Roman times. The setting is fully developed and totally believable. Roma Nova seems a wonderful, if very different, place to live and Karen does have to adjust to a totally new way of life. But her grandmother is a very sympathetic person, as well as one of the leading figures of this small nation.

Karen is threatened again by Renschman and she then develops her own inner strengths, taking on a new career, and finding some unique friends along the way. These supporting characters are both interesting and complex, adding another layer of richness to the story. The pacing is excellent with never a dull moment as Karen moves from one adventure to another, learning and growing as she encounters past secrets and present day realities.

Lovers of mystery and suspense as well as lovers of books about alternate realities are sure to enjoy Inceptio. It is a complex and exciting novel with an incredibly rich setting.

Have you ever wondered what secrets antiques would tell if they could speak?

I liked Katy the instant I met her. It isn’t easy to include a great deal of character development in short stories, but I was impressed by how much I learned about her as a result of her impulsive decision to buy the strange, little statue. Her curiosity and perseverance show up almost immediately, and it was really interesting to see how these traits carried her through to the final scene.

The twist at the end solidified my decision to give this piece a 5 star rating. As pleased as I was with the steamy, playful sex scenes, it is Katy’s decision to attempt to lift the curse that makes Sex After Death such a great read. Figuring out what she needs to try next propels the plot forward and gives Katy good reasons to continue working with the statue. While I have no idea what her plans may be, this would make a great series if Ms. Gaines ever decides to revisit this world. If nothing else, I’d love to see the sizzling chemistry between the main characters once again.

What surprised me the most about this tale was how often it made me laugh. The author introduces Katy to such unexpected situations that her reactions to them are as humorous as they are well-suited for the tone of this piece. Sometimes arousal and laughter go well together. This is one of them.

Sex After Death is one of the best short stories I’ve read in 2013. I can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone who loves quirky, funny erotica.

That little book with the Love Spell is back! It is a powerful spell … You write down what you want in a man, you follow the steps in the spell and… Yes! You hit the jackpot! Right?

The main theme running in this book is (besides a HOT romance story) the power of believing in you. Life is meant to be lived honestly and without subterfuge. For those who believe in Fate, the main concern is to recognize the opportunities you are given in life and to seize the day. We sometimes are so wrapped up with the minor aggravations of life that we fail to recognize what is right in front of our eyes. This is how happiness comes knocking and we must be smart enough to recognize it,

Jennifer Probst is the mistress of romance. Her writing style and characters involve us with the magic of romance and our dreams and visions take off in an orgy of fantasies. This story is both romantic and amusing. Even though we are dealing with magic gifts and spells, somehow she makes a believer out of her readers.

Sam and Bob are back, but this time Mikhail is the one who’s falling in love. I really love the way these stories are put together, and I recommend this series be read in order. I enjoy the way that it still predominantly features Sam and Bob from the first book but also focuses on secondary characters from previous books and allow their story to be told.

I loved Mikhail from the moment I met him the first time, he’s a unique mix of supernatural creatures but is always taking care of his friends. Jin won me over from the moment he appeared, he was full of action and definite passion for Mikhail.

This case was very interesting. It has an old style detective novel feel with a sci/fi paranormal twist. I enjoyed getting to discover a new aspect of this rich paranormal world. I highly recommend this story, and all its predecessors.

No sooner does Amanda’s spring break vacation begin than she’s confronted with a series of mysterious events. Will she be able to figure out what has really been happening to the missing books in Charlie’s store?

The most memorable scenes in this story involve Amanda discovering the cultural differences between her hometown in Alberta and London. Everything from clotted cream to the advanced age of certain buildings is new and exciting to her. Amanda’s joyful reactions to the rich histories of the places she visits piqued my interest in learning more about them.

What made the plot even more rewarding was how slowly the mystery of the missing books unfolds. Amanda has to work hard to uncover every single clue, and none of them are easy to piece together. I expected to figure out what was happening much earlier on in the plot than I actually did, and it was quite rewarding to finally come to the correct conclusion.

This is the third book in the series, but I had no issues catching up with the highlights of Amanda’s previous adventures. If anything the tantalizing glimpses of the mysteries she’s attempted to solve in the past made me want to go back and read the first two instalments! Amanda is intelligent, resourceful and plucky, and those traits make reading about her adventures a real pleasure.

Amanda in England: The Missing Novel is a delightful romp through modern-day London. I highly recommend it for readers in late elementary school or for anyone who loves solving playful mysteries that do not reveal their secrets easily.

Where’s the Fine Line… Between darkness and desire Need and oblivion Pain and pleasure A man as talented as Sinner bass guitarist Jace Seymour needs a woman who can beat out his self-doubt… A woman as strong as Mistress V needs a man she can’t always overpower… And in each other’s tight embrace, an escape from harsh reality is always a welcome diversion…

Hot Ticket is Jace’s story in Olivia Cunning’s Sinners on Tour series, showing the inside of a rock band on tour. Ms. Cunning has a deliciously hot world, with rock heroes who each have a vulnerable side, and strong women who love them and can handle the problems inherent in a relationship with said heroes.

It uses actions aesthetic and therapeutically to get goals which are significant to a person and when a person fails to make proper erections it is then the need of these firms comes. cheap generic tadalafil It improves ejaculatory force pills cialis to enjoy enhanced pleasure in the bed. Male sexual confidence plays an super cheap viagra important part for the quality of erections. A man cannot think of having sex with sildenafil 100mg price his woman at any age. Sinners is on tour, and having the time of their lives, along with some very uncomfortable complications. At the bachelor party for lead singer Brian Sinclair, Jace Seymor, bassist for Sinners, newest member of the celebrated band, is captivated by one of the dancers at the club, Aggie Blake. Aggie plays the part of dominatrix in the club, and in real life as well, and Jace needs what she can provide: pain and lots of it. Before they can connect, however, a fight breaks out and the band has to leave. Jace returns as thing calm down, and Aggie gives him her business card and an appointment for the next night. Aggie had noticed him in the club, the man with the face of an innocent and a body made for sin, and although she isn’t looking for a man, he works his way into her life and into her heart. She wants to help him heal the many hurts inside, so he can stop punishing himself, and for the first time in her life, Aggie is willing to give up control to a man. And for the first time in his life, Jace is able to begin to open up and heal the rift in his soul. Can Aggie help Jace overcome the pain from his past? Can Jace convince Aggie to take a chance on him, with all of his baggage? Together can these two wounded souls forge a future with love?

I like this world, my guilty pleasure is rock music, the heavier the better, and the bands that play it. I enjoy these peeks behind the scenes that Ms. Cunning provides, and the intrigue of wondering if she based a specific character on someone real in the business.

Jace Seymor is the strong silent type, with wounds that go deep in his soul. With a tortured past, he needs the release that pain brings him, and feels he needs to be punished. When he meets Aggie, she is the first woman who accepts his kinky side and doesn’t tell him he’s sick for it. As he grows closer to Aggie, he begins to learn more about himself, and slowly is able to see that there are people that really care about him. I like Jace for his sensitive and sweet side, and enjoyed watching as he was able to show it more as he and Aggie grew together.

Aggie Blake has never felt the need for a man in her life, at least until Jace Seymor came along. Something about his blond hair, innocent face and hot body draws out her desires and shatters the walls she keeps up against the world. I like Aggie for her honesty and her no-hold-barred attitude toward life. She is strong and independent, and watching her as she learns that, with the right person, submitting doesn’t mean weakness. She has never had a man like Jace, able to take it all and still respect her as an individual. I liked watching as Jace surprised her, over and over, warming the heart she didn’t know she still had.

This is one of the hottest of the Sinners on Tour books yet, with Aggie and Jace pushing each other’s limits until they both discover just how strong they can be together. These two are not perfect, but they are perfect for each other, and I enjoyed some of the scenes in Aggie’s dungeon as they explored each other’s boundaries. The action, and the sex, is definitely not for the squeamish, and if you aren’t sure about BDSM, this is not the book to read. I do recommend that these be read in a certain order, to get the proper sequence of events from the tour as Ms. Cunning has let it unfold instead of treating this as a standalone read. But be warned, this has one hot rocker with the face of an angel and the body of a sinner, and the woman who whipped him into love.
