In the era of Disco and bell bottoms, one neighborhood is keeping free love alive, one key at a time.

As a proponent for free love and women’s rights, Shayna is more than happy to attending her friend’s key party even though she has no desire to sample the wares herself. Her plan is to just be there for immoral support. Nothing more, nothing less, or at least that was her intention before she spotted the man she spent one unforgettable night with, her best friend’s brother, Embry.

They only had one night together, but to Embry it was the first of many to come. Despite the wall Shayna had erected between them, Embry has no intention of backing down. It had taken him a long time to get Shayna to see him as a man and not just Edith’s brother and he refused to allow her to put him back in the friend column now.

Despite the differences in their social status and ethnicity, he knows that they are perfect for each other. Now all he has to do is get the stubborn beauty to admit it.

Shayna Hingham is black and in love with her best friend Edith’s brother, Embry, who is white. Embry can’t think of anything better than to have Shayna in his arms, loving her for eternity. The problem is that they live in Maryland in 1978 and interracial dating is still looked upon with distaste. Shayna tries to keep her distance from Embry but every time she gets close to him or even thinks of him her body gets warm and all she can do is remember how he felt touching and loving her the last time they were together. Realizing that there are so many reasons for them not to be together, Shayna tries to make Embry understand that a relationship would only end in hurt.

Embry has been in love with Shayna for as long as he can remember. Their first night together was one that he wants to repeat over and over again. However, he has to convince Shayna that it’s a good idea for them to be together, and to not worry about what others say. He understands that there will be people, maybe some in their own family that will be against them being together, but Embry hopes that his love for her will be enough to sway her to his way of thinking. He is not giving up on her and he will do whatever he can to make her his.

Lena Matthews’ Key Party 2: Brown Sugar explored the world of interracial love in the 1970’s. It was hard for interracial couples to go public because of the hatred they would face which would put their love to the test. There was a part in the book where a waitress refused to serve them because of this, which helped to depict the attitude of that time. I found this story to be informative but enjoyable at the same time. Shayna and Embry were wonderful characters whose interaction or verbal sparring was funny and entertaining. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who would want to take a glimpse at the world of interracial dating in 1978. Things have changed since then, although interracial dating is not completely accepted today, it’s not as frowned upon as it used to be. Key Party 2: Brown Sugar helped this reader spend an enjoyable afternoon getting to know Shayna and Embry and adding Lena Matthews to my list of talented authors.

Sixteen-year-old Malden Montgomery leaves New York City anticipating nothing but boredom when her artist/mother insists she come along on a two week vacation to a family inn in rural Virginia. What Malden doesn’t expect is that the owner’s seventeen-year-old son, Jackson, will be totally to-die-for cute or that her room at the inn will be haunted by a young woman named Emily, who died there in 1865. When Emily somehow begins to communicate with Malden via an Internet chat room, she and Jackson have to find a way to help Emily’s ghost come back home or risk a spirit’s wrath if they choose to leave her lost in the darkness forever.

The Young Adult and Paranormal genre these days can mean anything from mild magical abilities to foes like killer zombies, so I am pleased to report that the novella Ghost Writer is ultimately a believable teen tale.

Malden is a typical (contemporary) teen, being dragged along on a typical mom’s type getaway to a backwoods location. She has no expectations of anything worthy of interest, and less hope of meeting anyone worth meeting. Exactly how bad it will be is brought home when her mom assures her it’ll be like a ‘living history lesson: Civil War era.”

So Jackson, the “To-Die-For bellhop” is a very pleasant surprise, although of course one positive thing isn’t going to change Malden Montgomery’s outlook.

No, it’s Emily – who she is warned about – and Emily’s plea for help that changes Malden’s outlook.

Scenes are set so perfectly; the creepy feeling room, approaching storm and the flickering-lamp type classic ghost references, are offered right alongside more serious analysis (are people truly energy?) I want to call this a ghost story, but it’s the sort that gives you pause. If ghosts could exist…

Believable conversations (and concerns!) keep this story moving right along. Malden has the typical teen electronic attachments, e-chats and whatnot, but that ability to connect at a distance will serve her in a surprising way.

Ghost Writer is an unpredictable story with a nice little mystery wrapped around a sense of empathy – a sense that will try to stretch across centuries. I’d have to call this novella the perfect Halloween present: A real indulgence with no calories!

Eboni Stiles thought Simon Blackcat was a walking, talking mass of perfectly packaged testosterone trouble. She made it a point to stay as far away from him as possible. Especially after that one night, she lost her mind and slept with him.

After she witnessed a murder, Simon’s the only man who can protect her from the danger hunting her. But while hiding out on a mountain top alone with him, who’s going to protect her heart?

An evening with Eboni was not enough for Simon, not even close. So when Eboni’s life was in danger, he was the only man he trusted to protect her. Because those chasing her would have to kill him to get to her, and Blackcat did not die easily.

Eboni Stiles witnessed a murder and now the killer is after her, so she called the only person she knew would come and protect her: Simon Blackcat. The characters of Simon, Eboni, Shanna and his partner, Ross Marshall, were introduced in the first book of the series, White Wedding. Simon and Ross are owners of The Guardian Agency, a business that provides bodyguards, which is how Ross and Eboni’s sister Shanna met. Simon and Eboni had a one night stand and Simon wanted nothing more than to continue seeing Eboni, but she declined. She told him that what they had was just sex; mind blowing, knee shaking sex, but just sex. Simon, who never cared when women left after sex, couldn’t get Eboni out of his mind. He wanted more and that’s why when Eboni called and told him that she needed him, Simon raced to her rescue.

Eboni did want more than one night with Simon but she didn’t want to lose her heart to him so she decided to keep her distance. That all changed since she witnessed a murder, and she knew the killer saw her. She knew she needed Simon. Simon Blackcat was the type of character dreams are made of. He’s tall, dark and handsome. The character was tender when he needed to be and deadly when called for. Eboni’s character was no shrinking violet who constantly needed Simon to reassure her, she was just as tough but vulnerable at the same time. These two characters complimented each other and the other characters in the book helped round out the story.

The story gripped me from the start and immersed me in the lives of these characters so that I became completely invested in them. I got to see what made Simon tick and what demons chased him, and how Eboni helped heal him. Even the villain in the book was interesting, I just wanted to reach right into the page and grab him, shake him a bit then leave him for Simon to dispose of.

As I said this book is part of The Guardian Agency series and can be read as a stand alone, however you would get so much more out of this story if you read the first book White Wedding. By doing that you will understand the dynamics between the characters and when you sit down to read this one you will already be invested. This is an enjoyable book with lots of sexual heat and action, and one I’m sure you will want to read more than once.

Loyalty to her lord compels the Otu woman-warrior Sora to risk her life trying to find her tribe’s hated enemy, the Waban. Her mission: to kill their leader. Instead, she becomes the prisoner of the enemy’s powerful war-leader, Hakan. His mission: to turn the bound woman at his feet into a sex-hungry creature worthy of the powerful man who rules the Waban. But Sora is nothing like the submissive slave-whores he’s accustomed to. Instead, he finds himself pitted against a courageous, if helpless, adversary. No matter how completely he controls her body, the warrior spirit that is part of her heart and soul remains.

As days and nights flow together during the long trek back to Hakan’s village, hatred gives way to a wild attraction neither wants but they can’t fight. Long-held secrets become confidences whispered during frenzied sex. But deeply ingrained loyalty to their leaders compels them to continue to see the other as the enemy until treachery and deceit awaiting them at journey’s end threatens their survival. Will it bring them together or rip them apart?

Beautiful setting, page-turning anticipation, and compelling, strong characters you can’t help but root for. Enemies has all the elements you need for a fantastic escape from day to day life!

I can’t tell you how much I love these characters. Sora, a female Otu Warrior, is strong, courageous, and determined. When she’s captured by a Waban war leader and sworn enemy, Hakan, she must endure his certain torture to avoid being broken and carry out her mission to get to the Waban Elder. While refusing to back down, she seemingly submits, yet never loses focus of her goal, to collect information about the Waban tribe and bring it back to the Otu.

Hakan, although fierce and threatening, is a wonderfully complex character. His inner turmoil – does he treat this captive as just another spoil of war, or give her the respect her warrior status commands – is gripping and enjoyable. From the moment they first meet in battle, Sora stabbing Hakan before Hakan renders Sora unconscious, you can feel the attraction, admiration and respect the two have for each other. They are perfect equals in a world where neither should have one.

I loved how protective Hakan was of his captive, although he knew she was very capable of taking care of herself. The undeniable pairing of these two was done gradually and with perfect intent, every step of their relationship drawing them closer together until there was no question the love they felt, despite their individual senses of duty and obligation to their respective tribes.

Ms. Harper is an expert in her setting. I know little of native culture, but was never lost in the perfect world she has created. The adversarial relationships, differences in language, and even day to day living were so wonderfully laid out that I was not only able to follow the story, I became lost in it. I felt a part of their world, and that takes a very talented writer.

The love scenes were sensual and erotic, but also served to further connect the hero and heroine. Through both points of view we are able to experience Hakan’s struggle with the “spell” this irresistible captive had over him as well as the Sora’s attempt to retain her distance from the man who claimed to own her. Their individual struggles were believable and served to bond them even further, since both understood the other in a way that few could.

The only piece of this wonderful story that was missing was their ultimate expression of love. They each thought it, but never spoke the words to each other. Ms. Harper has such a beautiful use of language for the natives, I was hoping to hear how they each chose to express themselves to the other. In the end, it was an assumption, but we didn’t get to witness the conversation taking place. I missed it, but even without the words, their dedication was unquestionable.

If you like a story that takes you to another time and place, and a love story that leaves you breathlessly rooting for the hero and the heroine both, THIS is definitely a title to pick up!

A Ferrara should never share a bed with a Baracchi—however high the stakes!

Dark-hearted Santino Ferrara has always remembered how long-legged, hot-tempered Fia Baracchi felt in his arms—much to his frustration. Then a million-dollar business deal throws them together, and keeping his distance is no longer an option.

But Fia is living a lie. If it’s ever discovered that her precious little son is Santino’s heir, she’ll be disowned—their families’ feud is legendary! But her real fear? That she can’t forget the scorching memories of her one night with the enemy—and that she still craves more.…

I thought that Cristiano was a tough nut to crack but his brother, Santo has a more challenging situation to deal with in The Forbidden Ferrara as readers are treated to an unusual spin in this engaging romance. You know the old saying, “The grass is always greener on the other side”? In this story it’s the truth and the conflict is compelling and fascinating.

Imagine a woman who yearns for a family life filled with love, affection and unconditional support. What she grew up with was pure dysfunction at its harshest; add in a poisonous feud between that perfect family and her own and readers will find a woman worth reading about. Fia’s strength of character comes through by her determination and focus in breaking the toxic shackles that bind her. She has reasons for her single minded pursuit of her ideal life and it becomes all too clear when both protagonists are together.

The way Santo is written fascinated me. At first, it was all about him; his feelings, his interpretations and how he justified his resulting actions. He feels strongly, passionately and hotly and yet he’s a man to be respected because no matter how livid he became, he remained rational, in control and never struck out in a physically vicious manner. He does have a sharp tongue though. I suppose calling him rational may be giving him too much credit. He’s gobsmacked in this story and watching him transition from 100% business to 100% personal was quite fun. Then the author has him transitioning to seeing the other side of the coin and, being the man he is, he admitted his fallibility – sort of. It’s amazing how men of wealth and power can take a messy situation and iron it out with authority. Oh, to have that kind of chutzpah.

Ms. Morgan allows a reader to be in both Fia and Santo’s heads, and through their internal dialogues I was able to see how their relationship changed from viewing each other as adversaries to accomplices. It wasn’t an easy road to traverse because there are a few presumptions, assumptions and a lot of hard feelings to work through. The author made their emotional conflict believable and relatable. Certainly, the impetus for their forced collaboration was powerful and very dramatic. Yet, for all the heartache, uncertainty and mixed-up communication, their physical attraction could not be denied. That was made very clear to me. Their bodies knew what their minds could not accept. At least, not until all the clutter from that ages old family squabble gets sorted out. How that happens was not only a surprise for me, but a shock to Fia, the heroine. It was one of the nicest surprises in the story and I liked the twist.

It’s not all strife and stress. At times Santo is delightful as a puppy, eager to please and so excited … well, excited puppies have accidents. Over eager men make blunders and gaffs of epic proportions and Santo, the shark of a businessman, gets a ‘goober’ award for some of his choices. He alternates between being wonderful and romantic to being a clueless male. Very fun to watch.

The most romantic element came from making a dream come true. This isn’t a fairy tale so it wasn’t a simple, magical fix. It was messy, volatile and had many ups and downs but the ultimate payoff made reading this story worth every flip of the page. I even enjoyed the brief cameos of Dani, Santo’s sister and his older brother, Cristiano. This book is a standalone read, but since I read the previous one, it was nice to see how the other couple was doing – like a love check-up.

The Forbidden Ferrara once again illustrates why Ms. Morgan is one of my favorite authors. She writes about people that feel, that triumph over seemingly impossible odds, and celebrates the joys of new-found love. It’s a spicy sweet romance with thorns that kept me glued to its pages until the final love-filled moments. It’s an enjoyable read.

He seduces Gianna into allowing one night of passion together.

What she doesn’t know is that Colin is about to sweep her off her feet and make her an astounding proposition. How will this fiercely independent woman decide whether to go with her plans or her heart?

Ms. Zinn has made the handsome Colin an irresistible character, indeed. I felt the angst and tension of Gianna’s looming decision with sympathy. Private Showing is also an energetically scorching tale, filled with the very toys that begin the action.

I loved this description of Colin: “…handsome as they come and hot as a griddle.” That sums up this enthusiastic lover perfectly!

Though a little short on plot, I enjoyed the tale for its simple romantic and erotic flair. I recommend, Private Showing as a very happy little read.

Lydia Webster is stranded in west Texas, waiting tables to earn money to escape Fort Stockton and the clutches of her lecherous boss. Circumstances have brought the professional chef to west Texas and left her high and dry.

Distance means nothing to Chance Carlisle when he recalls the beautiful waitress’s smile and blue eyes. His brother Clayton doesn’t believe in long-distance relationships, even though he is attracted to Lydia, too. Chance offers her a position as their chef, but it’s Lydia herself who he wants. Despite numerous disruptions, the attraction between Lydia and Clayton grows, along with her love for Chance, until passion blazes out of control like a Texas wildfire.

Lydia had longed for life in a small town and loves Divine, but there’s just one catch. Her overprotective big brothers live in Divine, and there’s going to be hell to pay when they find out why she’s there.

“Sometimes it’s best to just jump on in, baby.”

Lydia doesn’t simply give in to the temptation of Chance and Clayton Carlisle, she embraces their love with her whole heart.

Are you in the market for one of those books that’s chock full of sweet “awww” moments? You know the type of book I mean: the ones where the characters don’t drive the reader nuts by spending more time fighting their attraction to one another rather than enjoying the chemistry. The books that don’t expend vast amounts of time on correcting misunderstandings just to tie the characters up into a new emotional pretzel every other chapter. Conflict is fine, even necessary, but some authors wear the reader down with never ending angst. If you prefer the books that steal your breath with their passion and sensual romance, I have a treat for you.

Lydia Webster is determined to live her life by her own rules and make her own way. She loves her “mama-bear” big brothers but they have their lives and she doesn’t want or need for them to interfere in hers. Not to say she’s opposed to all men being helpful or supportive. Take the deliciously sexy, sweet and generous Carlisle twins. More specially, Chance Carlisle. Just when Lydia thinks she’s hit rock bottom, Chance is there to bring her home and surround her with love times two.

Ms. Rainier has the perfect quote to describe the difference in identical twins Chance and Clayton. They are “two totally identical men who were completely different. And Clayton who was her moonlight and passion. Her lover.” See, I bet you just said “aww”. You’re welcome.

The road to Lydia, Chance and Claytons’ HEA isn’t completely without issues. A gold-digger, an old flame and mouthy jerk each put some effort into creating a stumbling block for the lovers. As with all true love stories, these useless individuals are more annoying than actual trouble. Actually, it’s one of Lydia’s big brothers that cause Chance and Clayton any real pain. *Sigh* They never saw it coming.

I could literally go on and on about the clever dialogue, creative plot, the fluid storyline, built in soundtrack (my personal favorite touch by Ms. Rainier) and so on. This book is fulfilling on so many levels. Did I mention these three know how to set the sheets on fire? You aren’t just in the room when things get hot, you’re with them on the bed, the counter, the chaise lounge, the pier…bring a fan. Clothing optional.

Even if this is your first trip to Divine Creek, I have no doubt you’ll enjoy Lydia, Chance and Clayton’s story. There’re several returning characters and some storylines from other books that are brought in but that should only whet your appetite to go find the other books and not preclude your enjoyment of this book.

Author Heather Rainer pens some of my favorite full length ménage romance novels. I know each time I return to visit Divine Creek I’m going to meet and fall in love with a whole new and unique set of men and the woman lucky enough to catch their eye. With each new story I tell myself “this is going to be my favorite grouping” and then Ms. Rainier proves me wrong with a new installment to the series. The hallmark of an excellent storyteller is the ability to create a world where her characters continue to live on after the last page and where her readers beg for an opportunity to visit time and again. Lydia’s Twin Temptation is a fantastic read and not to be missed.

Eight years after being tossed aside by the husband who took her son away, Holly Lang finds herself caught between two lovers—the exotic and dangerous Alexei Markov and the gentle but haunted Dr. Caleb Burke.

A former hit man for the Russian mafia, Alexei has been in witness protection while he testified against the mob. Now that he is done, he will do anything to earn Holly’s love.

Dr. Caleb Burke is a walking contradiction. His love for Holly is obvious, but he keeps her at a distance. Underneath his gruff demeanor is a tortured soul that only Holly can heal.

As their passions burn out of control, Alexei and Caleb discover someone is trying to kill her. The only way to discover the identity of the killer is for all three to face up to the secrets of their past and work together to fight for everything they have found in Bliss.

Dr. Caleb Burke has gone native and the sexiest Russian to ever infiltrate the mob is back in Bliss. Grab your gun, fearless reader, ’cause someone’s gonna die.

Caleb, Holly and Alexei together bring whole a new meaning to “miscommunication”. Alexei is Russian, so I gave him a pass on sentence structure screw-ups. The English language, with all the slang we use, is difficult enough. Alexei has the added issue of trying to talk Caleb through the fear and guilt that haunt him when the sun goes down. I have to give Ms. Oak major kudos for keeping Alexei in character throughout the book. There wasn’t a moment where I felt he slipped in speech or personality.

Alexei’s would-be partner in this trio is Dr. Caleb Burke, bless his heart. Ms. Oak knows how to torture her heroes. Caleb was once an idealistic medical crusader. Since you are a father, you’ll have to be careful not india cheap cialis to mistake a love for fitness with exercise driven by an ED. He’s built walls thicker than the Great Wall of China around his heart and not even the Mongolian hordes would be able to breach them. Surely he’s safe from a simple waitress and an aggravating ex-mob hit-man. It’s the ones you underestimate who can cause the most damage and the perfect healing.

Pop singer Kelly Clarkson has a song out that could have been written for Holly Lang. The lyrics include “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, stand a little taller, doesn’t mean I’m lonely when I’m alone. What doesn’t kill you makes a fighter, footsteps even lighter, doesn’t mean I’m over ’cause you’re gone.” Holly’s ex-husband holds honors in scumbagology. He even admits it. But like the song says, Holly has taken the trials and came out a stronger, more confident woman but she still can’t seem to get Caleb to make a move. Just when her life seems to be heading in the right direction with Caleb and Alexei forming a tentative partnership, in walks a curveball in the form of her son. Nicky’s going to be a fun character to watch.

And because this wouldn’t be a proper Bliss book without a homicide, Ms. Oak has someone gunning for Holly, Alexei or Caleb. The author does an amazing job of building the tension and keeping readers on their toes trying to figure out the intended victim, the shooter and the reason behind the hit. There are several surprises along the way, good and bad, and one poor Bliss resident finally hits rock bottom. It’s going to take a trip to Texas to heal this future hero.

If you’ve never been to Bliss, what are you waiting for? This is a terrific series. I anticipate each new book even more than the last. The residents of Bliss become so familiar; it’s like taking a mini-vacay to visit quirky friends or odd yet lovable family with each new story. Take a break and find Bliss. You’ll never want to leave.

Four men together make a happy home, but what happens when a stray is brought into the mix? Brian and his three bears have somehow made it work all living and loving together. But with Scott and Paul on the road a lot for work, Brian and Jim are left to try to keep everything together. When Scott brings home a lost twink, some of the relationships begin to change. Can this foursome keep it together or is there room to grow?

A Man, A Jersey, and a Tight-End is the sequel to Goldilocks and His Three Bears. I’d highly suggest reading the first book before tackling this sequel as the relationships are established in the first book and this one is actually much deeper and more meaningful. In Goldilocks, the two main couples are established – Paul and Brian, Jim and Scott – while the foursome regularly mix it up and have an open policy for everyone, especially Brian. Now those relationships are tested with real life. This story focuses more on the emotional bonds and how to make such unorthodox couplings really work. It still has the same light, playful touch to the sex scenes but the characters feel deeper and more real this time around. So this drug carries dual advantage for browse this link now tadalafil overnight shipping the Kamagra pills is that they are available at very reasonable cost and provide same quality of results to an affected personality. Also the issues brought up are more intense. Not all of these issues are well handled. Most are glossed over very easily and quickly, more for the plot point of the issue than the actual resolution. The story does try to bring up more in depth issues than the last book. Additionally there are numerous sex scenes, enough to please any fan. There are almost too many but as always Ms. Riley is an excellent writer so this isn’t a bad thing. If anything it keeps the tone playful and light with a lot of rough-housing and enjoyable banter.

This is a pretty successful and entertaining sequel, though it’s not perfect. It would have been nice to see some of these issues really addressed but overall the solid writing and fun characters make for a good story. If you’ve read the first book, definitely pick this one up and if you’re new to the series start now, it’s worth your time.

Meet the Blackthorn Brothers—three unrepentant scoundrels infamous for being mad, bad and perilous to love.

Handsome as the devil and twice as tempting, Robin “Puck” Blackthorn lives for the pleasures of the moment. His only rule—never dally with an innocent woman. But when an encounter at a masquerade ball leaves him coveting the one woman who refuses to succumb to his charms, Puck realizes that some rules were made to be broken….

Scandalized to discover that the masked man with whom she’d shared a dance—and a forbidden embrace—is in fact the ton’s most celebrated rake, Regina Hackett vows to keep her distance. Yet when her cousin vanishes, it is to Puck that Regina must turn. And as they embark on a dangerous journey through London’s darkest alleys, Regina will discover that beneath Puck’s roguish facade lies a man who will stop at nothing to protect her—or to convince her to take a chance on an unrepentant sinner.

A hero named Puck is odd enough but when the playboy and all around society charmer finds the woman of his dreams, the façade drops and the real picture is revealed. Readers are in for a treat because Puck Blackthorn is all man, with a core of granite and iron the bad guys never saw coming.

Ms. Michaels has a winner. I was teased with getting to know Puck in the first book about the Blackthorn brothers in The Taming of the Rake but nothing could have prepared me for the adventures that awaited this happy go lucky guy.

In this installment, I found further hints of the unusual upbringing he and his brothers had. For some reason, as easily as they explained the arrangement and as accepting as they appeared, I don’t think they truly believed all they’ve been told. Certainly Puck says something to the heroine in the final chapters of the story that surprised me. I found him to be a very observant hero. He had to be if he expected to survive the hair raising adventures the heroine swept him into.

Regina is a plucky heroine who made one decision that changed not only her life but left her eyes and brain traumatized for life. She saw something that was so gross and shocking, if the distraction of her cousin disappearing hadn’t happened, I’m not sure how she would have handled the fallout. I think I would have gotten sauced trying to forget. As it is, the heroine’s one accidental interlude with Puck ended up being the best, most wonderful and exciting thing to happen even her wildest romantic fantasies couldn’t have conjured.

One of the characteristic traits the author imbued the hero with was absolutely gorgeous hair. I know it was meant to be sensual and exotic in a way. But all I could picture in my mind was either Fabio tossing his long locks or one of the hair commercials that showcase silky, flowing tresses that shimmer and sway in an alluring manner. If Puck hadn’t turned out to be as gritty and physical as he did, I don’t think I could have forgiven a man having better hair than me. As it is, the hero knew how to play his assets to advantage and it comes in rather handy, even to the point of luring the lusting Regina to do wild and wonderful things with him. I rather enjoyed those scenes because Ms. Michaels wrote them with passion, intensity and with a romantic flair that truly entertained. They were extra spicy and delicious.

The plot movement during this book is frenetic and adventurous. The consistent external conflict was gripping and suspenseful because Puck and Regina have to find her cousin before an absolutely horrendous and most heinous crime could be committed. The daunting task of finding all the clues and putting the criminal puzzle together in time kept me glued to the pages. Puck had some help from his rather surprising and mysterious brother, Jack. Jack’s involvement was much more pronounced in this book versus the one previous with Beau. In A Midsummer Night’s Sin, he’s everywhere. For example, it is shop viagra online very difficult to regain. viagra pharmacies Regular breathing exercise and workout can do wonders in improving sexual health. It assists in growing your relationships in a better way viagra properien by opening up with the people around you. The condition evolves around male sexual health and allows him to enjoy the bliss of his side effects from viagra bought this sexual health. I don’t mean he overshadows his brother, Puck. I’m talking about how he appears every time something momentous happens, like he has a second knowing, or he has a paranormal super ability that makes him unstoppable and effective as a spy. How did he DO that?

My favorite part is when Jack and Puck work together because only then did I get a glimpse of what Jack is capable of. Not only that, but I saw a mending of family. Through a most disgusting situation fraught with peril and death, the brothers found common ground and I recognized a light bulb moment. They both realized they truly were more than brothers in name only; they really could be a family. I was thrilled to see that but it didn’t last long because then the scene exploded into shots fired, fighting with knives and daring-do that made my heart pound. What in the world was a guy usually into frilly lace cuffs and perfectly coiffed appearance doing with such ruffians? And why would a gently bred lady be right in the middle of it?

Because the heroine has attitude and a strong sense of right and wrong and no way was she going to sit in a parlor or library and fret like a ditzy miss. No matter if Puck really wished she would. Regina, I found out, had a way with her man. I loved how she worked him over in order to get what she wanted. She was a total delight – courageous, loyal, feisty, and with a stiff inner core a corset could only envy. That’s good because what she learned about her own family had a devastating effect on her. And yet, her choices after she and Puck figured things out made me respect her character. She’d make a wonderful addition to the Blackthorn clan – she just had to survive the ramifications of what they discovered when they found her cousin. Talk about heartbreak!

The happily ever after was refreshing after all that chaos and action. Ms. Michaels wrapped up their unusual courtship with a wonderfully written and romantically engaging epilogue ending. The last paragraphs of the final chapter were poetic justice. I knew what happened but what Regina was led to believe was for the best. And I felt very proud of Puck and Jack for choosing that route. They really are wonderful guys but I hope to find out just how terrific Jack is in the last book of the trilogy. This book revealed so many hints as to the many facets of his personality that I can’t wait to read it. Especially after Puck, in his clever way, wormed out a certain piece of information out of him during one of their few one on one scenes. It guaranteed it as an auto-buy for me.

A Midsummer Night’s Sin combines adventure and romance to such perfection, it’s a must read. I adored the characters, thrilled to the action and was entertained by their most scandalous courtship. There is nothing I can think better to do than to highly recommend this story to all readers of romantic suspense, whether they enjoy historical or contemporaries. This book easily crosses fan preferences because A Midsummer Night’s Sin has it all. Pick up your own copy and be amazed, dazzled and intrigued by this well written and gripping novel.
