When I read the blurb for this story, I was intrigued. I like the MM genre, but wanted to see what Ms. Sheridan would do with the age gap between the characters. I needn’t have worried. Honestly, outside of Tetsuji mentioning it, I just about forgot it. The writing is smooth and I flew through the story in no time. Heck, I read it again and again, just because I couldn’t get enough.

I liked Tetsuji. He’s driven, he’s competent, and he knows exactly who he wants. I was pulled into this story right from the start. Nika is a strong and feisty woman who can and will stand on her own two feet. In under a year she has relocated, bought and opened a pub and lost a boyfriend yet she is still standing tall. Garrick is a great guy who finds love and is willing to fight for it. The two make a wonderful couple. The love that the two share shines throughout the story. I really enjoyed the way that Nika deals with everything that happens to her, making her my favorite heroine so far from this series. Watching her fight for not only her life but Garrick’s as well was a great read. It was nice to see her realize the love she has for Garrick and deal with all that life has thrown at her.

Once again Marisa Chenery weaves a wonderful tale full of love and magic that keeps you glued to the pages. This author has quickly become an automatic buy for me and I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

Chase was going to one crazy coming out party. He planned going to a Samhain meeting that would allow him to fully embrace who he was for the first time. Instead he found himself sucked into a world full of mythical creatures demanding his submission in every way.

One thing I did not truly understand was the relationship between some of the supporting characters. I felt a bit disconnected from them, particularly Si and Hakon at the end of this story.

I did enjoy seeing the relationship development between the main characters Chase and Dracu, though I would have like to have seen Dracu show up a little sooner in the story. This story did however has an unusual and interesting plot that really keep the pages turning.

This is one of the best firefighter stories I’ve ever read. Ms. Moore gives us a real feel for the camaraderie that is between the men in the firehouse. You can feel the sense of respect and family, and when tragedy strikes, you see them all come together in support of their own. There were two big surprises in this one, and both contribute to the very touching and wonderful, and extremely hot, happy ever after. I recommend this to all of you who love their romance on the edge, but be sure to bring the tissues, as this one can really bring on the tears, too.

This plot focused more around Nash’s mending heart and whether there was room in it for Paul. Luckily for Nash Paul came equipped with a first aid kit to help with any wound, even the emotional ones.

The only weakness that I found in this anthology was a few typos. For instance in Hot Dom, Cold Sub the blurb refers to the sub as Danny, but in the story his name is Denny. Also a few words were misspelled within the stories. These small weaknesses were not enough to disrupt the story, but did need to be mentioned.

The way these two stories were tied together is great. These authors clearly unified to create one two amazing stories. It is something that I have never seen before between two authors in an anthology and it is definitely a rare jewel. Both stories could have stood on their own but to read them back-to-back in this manner made them that much sweeter. Anyone with an appreciation for BDSM stories will cherish Flogger’s Holiday Sale.

It’s hot, sexy and won’t take you more than 15 minutes to read and perfect to squeeze in during the upcoming hectic holiday season.

This is a short, fun read. I always enjoy stories where past loves are revisited and hopefully rekindled and this one took me by surprise. I thought I knew what was going to happen and it didn’t which was very refreshing. The actual scene between Denise and Jerrod made me laugh and had me wondering if the heroine would be heading home all by herself.

I liked Denise. She came across as fun and had a spunky, make the most of a bad situation type attitude despite what had happened to her before the story starts. The dialogue is realistic sounding and moves at a fast pace. I won’t give away what happens to Denise but let’s just say, I was happy for her.

If you’re looking for a fun quick read while waiting to pick the kids up from school or music lessons, even waiting in the doctor’s office, this is the ideal way to pass the time.

She’s an independent woman and has everything she needs. You can understand her point of view but the hero is portrayed as such a sweet guy, you start rooting for him. The author does a great job making us think they’ve broken up for good and that there’s no way these two can meet middle ground.

The dialogue is snappy and sounds real. It’s not easy writing a solid story in just 18 pages but Halligan handled it well. The sex scenes are very hot and I really liked the ending.
