I will be on the lookout for more books by Lolita Lopez because this is definitely a book to put in the keeper pile for a reread in the future. The men share a unique relationship themselves and I loved the playfulness that comes out between them with Lea.

All of the characters are so full of depth and emotion that they are vividly brought to life. The writing was done so well from the first chapter, I was pulled right into their world, not to be let go until the end. SiNN is worth checking out.

Sure, there were times when I thought she was a little whiny and I’d have liked her to figure things out a little faster, but that’s why I didn’t write the story. I couldn’t get the build up and the palpable feeling of Kelsi’s twin sensations of desire and confusion S. Michael weaves into the story.

When Shane’s Need was set to be released, readers were treated to another unexpected surprise. Author Kiera West isn’t as new a writer as we all thought. The very talented Melissa Schroeder is the author behind this pen name. They are all short stories that focus on Eve getting to know one of the men but due to the back story of the evil threatening them all, they really aren’t stand alones. Each story is well developed and adds to the overall plot. The characters themselves have been fun getting to know. With so many people involved in a single relationship it’s nice to focus on each man one at a time.

Samantha just wants something to change and to have some adventure in her life, and does she ever get that with this story. They all had different feelings about their relationship and the dynamics but at the same time they all wanted the same thing. Samantha is conflicted, she is not sure whether the brothers really want her as a woman or just want to take care of her out some sense of cowboy nobility.

Ms. Espino writes very descriptive love scenes that were hot and exciting; however I was disappointed that there were so few of them. The ménage scenes were well written and tastefully done. There are some light BDSM elements in this story, mainly spankings and some bossing around during the sex scenes but not enough to turn an erotic reader off even if they do not usually read BDSM.

Although this story takes a little time to get moving, it was a good romance with two of my favorite things: cowboys and a ménage. For those readers who enjoy romantic stories about cowboys and like a little erotic action without too heavy of a plot this is the book for you.

Rosalyn, or Madame Rosie, needs to get on with her life. She is fiercely independent and more than a little angry at having been left by Dalton so abruptly. I loved that she was not going to just take him back, and that she was ready to set her own ‘rules of engagement’ where these two are concerned.

Dalton is determined to do two things: clear his name and win back Rosalyn’s love. Both are lofty goals, and neither will be easy to do. When he runs into both Rosalyn and James, he realizes the time has come to try and fix things once and for all. He is more than willing to let Rosalyn set the rules, if it means getting a chance to win her love again. I loved Dalton’s perseverance and his willingness to do what his woman wanted to show his devotion.

James has loved Rosalyn for a while as well, but isn’t sure if he can be what she wants and needs. He is loyal, and a good friend to both Dalton and Rosalyn. I loved that he believed Dalton’s story, and was willing to help him clear his name, even if it meant that Dalton would win Rosalyn in the end.

This is a story of romance lost and regained, of treachery and secrets and grudges held. The characters are all well-defined and multifaceted, with feelings and emotions that are complex and passionately explosive at times. The way the two men let Rosalyn orchestrate one of the most erotic scenes in this book was a delicious treat. There is some danger as they get close to the answers, and a sentimental scene when ‘Madame Rosie’ returns to her ‘house’ and meets with one of her girls is touching.

This is definitely a recommended read for those who like historical romances, but I would recommend that the first two books in the series be read for more background into Rosalyn’s character. Is there a happy ever after for Rosalyn and one of her suitors? You’ll need to read River Bound to find out for sure.
