Can an amnesiac warrior recover his memories in time to find his missing love and help his entire race?

The red dragon warrior appeared out of a storm, a traumatic injury, leaving him only with the memory of the name of Jackson. Suffering from agonizing seizures, he dreams and draws intricate portraits of the same ethereal woman.

After a making his way across the snowy lands to the remote cabin he’s seen in his dreams, Jackson tries to unlock the door of memories to discover who he – and the woman haunting his vision – are.

Will the angelic face of his dreams be the one to open the door or will the darkness of his missing past overwhelm any chance of love and recovery?

Content warning; A sexy dragon warrior chivalrous to the core. He can just as easily handle a sword, a drawing pencil, or skim a finger over a woman’s body. An evil Councilor’s defiance against destiny and a beloved leader.

A dragon with epilepsy and amnesia plagued with dreams of a maiden of rare beauty must find out who did robbed him of memory before it’s too late. It’s an interesting premise that grabs the imagination.

Jackson seems to be an interesting man based upon the things that he does intrinsically. He has no memory so a reader has no idea of he’s a good guy or a bad guy. I could only figure things out by the conversations of the other characters that populate the story early on. He seems to have an honorable inner core and isn’t afraid to stand up for what’s right. Not a bad first impression if he’s a good guy. Awesome possibilities if he’s something else. Only by reading until the end will a reader find out how cool he really is.

Marissa is at first a bit standoffish but warms up once she realized who he was. Surprisingly enough, there’s a lot more to her that a reader is aware of at first introduction. She’s independent and has a lot of inner strength, some of which comes from a surprising source. She’s not shy once she decides to do something and when she makes up her mind about a course of action, she plows on through. No simpering Miss this one. I liked the surprise that she gives Jackson and the revelation proves to be icing on a very saucy cake. She’s a good match for Jackson.

As much as I liked the idea behind the story and the dialogue between Marissa and Jackson once it got going, I had some issues with this book. Part of it perhaps could come from the fact that this is a second installment in a series of which I had not read the first. It took me a bit to realize that this isn’t a sci-fi fantasy but a contemporary paranormal. It was the writing. I was thrown for a loop every time modern conveniences were bandied about. The talk of castles and clans then wind turbines jarred me. I found the mysterious foreshadowing by one of the secondary characters early on to be a bit heavy handed. I also take issue with Marissa initially stating she didn’t know who Jackson was and then turning an about face and acting like a mysterious gypsy fortuneteller who ‘knows all’. Perhaps a better editing eye could have smoothed out these jumps in believability.

In spite of the aforementioned editing burps, once Marissa connected with Jackson, mentally and physically, the plot movement of the story really gelled and it saved this book from being merely just a good read. It seemed to me that at that point the author hit her stride and the characters came alive. I liked the two of them together, I liked that the book had heart and passion and didn’t waffle with unnecessary relationship games. They proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were true mates and it was a very touching scene with drama and good tight writing. I also enjoyed how the author wrapped up the story with humor, sweetness and a warm happily ever after. If readers are into dragons then this story has a lot to like and it’s worth looking into.

What is more passionate than forbidden love?

Penny Thompson’s impending marriage to a prissy easterner she’s never met signifies the end of her idyllic freedom. A tomboy at heart, she’d rather work her family’s cattle ranch from the back of a horse than bake and sew. The thought of marrying a man she doesn’t know is bad enough, but when she meets a half-breed Indian who ignites her desire, the idea of a wedding night with a stranger she doesn’t love turns abhorrent. John Black Feather’s touch causes a storm of passion Penny fears she cannot live without.

The son of a Navajo chief and a white captive, John Black Feather has always walked between two worlds. Conceived and educated specifically to help the tribe’s relations with the spreading white world, his dalliance with Penny Thompson could ruin his father’s decades-old plan. But Penny enflames him and drives him to take foolish risks for their love…even though he knows a future with her is impossible.

There is nothing like a love story that promises a teary eye and a happily ever after. There is no love story that is more endearing than an unrequited love story. Wild at Heart is both!!

His willingness to sacrifice his heart and soul so that she is able to fulfill her family’s needs bring the emotional angst to the forefront and you just want to shake that girl and tell her to wake up!!!

Can the call of the open road defeat the lure of a loving heart?

What’s a woman to do when her husband of over twenty years decides to move on to greener and younger pastures? She moves on, too! This is precisely what Margaret Murphy Ryder – Murph to just about everyone – does.

Leaving her husband isn’t so bad…she’s gained a motorhome. Selling all her property and going on the road to find herself and rediscover her passion seems like a good idea at the time. But eventually traveling alone goes sour.

Spoonbill Beach, Louisiana, needs someone to buy and maintain its failing RV park. Ladies’ man Captain Jack Snow needs a new conquest. And Lee Soloman, a long-lost lover of Murph’s – and a hard-core biker – has needs he hardly dares mention. Forthright, fearless and funny, Murph might just fit any or all of these bills…if her newfound freedom isn’t too threatened.

In the end, Murph must decide if her true destination is a relaxed romance and a place to call home.

Reading The Last Resort was like sitting with your best friend dishing about everything that’s going on in her life. Murph tells her story and you find yourself nodding along.

While this wasn’t the most erotic story I’ve ever read it did manage to touch on quite a few topics that would qualify it as such. Only online cialis one-third can be helped using medication. Ms. Forrest must be somewhat of a trivia buff/travel agent on the side and I encourage anyone looking for an enjoyable light read to find out for themselves what I’m talking about.

I thought hard about my rating on this book. It was well written and enjoyable but not (to me, anyway) a real erotic title. I gave it a four because I really did enjoy it and wouldn’t hesitate to suggest it to anyone looking for a good chick-lit/light romance. I will keep it and go back to it from time to time. Definitely a fun read.

Is there salvation in truth?
Kitten is pregnant and torn between the idea of being both mommy and sex slave. With the help of her master, Lord Fyre, she makes the hardest decision of all…infuriating Garret, her second master. This revisits the question: can one woman truly serve two masters?

Lord Fyre is torn between blood and ménage. When his twin brother arrives shot and strung out, Fyre’s world of bdsm suddenly collides with his past. Disappearing with his twin seems the only answer. But how can the ménage survive if he isn’t there to hold it together?

Garrett faces uncertainty, knowing he has lost control of Kitten. He knows he must embrace his inner-Dom, known as Lord Ice, if he is ever to come out of the shadow of Lord Fyre and gain full control of Kitten. But is another man the answer?

The bonds of love and commitment is further tested when Lord Fyre pulls his lovers into his dark and dangerous world of intrigue in this fourth installment of the Chronicles of Surrender series.

Love touches us all in various ways. You see many types of love whether romantic, familial or platonic within this story.

I think that it was clear from page one to the end how much Thomas/Lord Fyre and Celia/Kitten cared for one another. The way that Kitten’s needs depended on him so much for emotional support made their relationship believable, which is part of the reason that she fell apart when his brother, Nikos, showed up causing Thomas to step away for a while. Leaving Thomas to war between the love for his past life and his brother and his future with Kitten and Garrett/Master.

The relationship I did not understand was the relationship between Garret and Kitten. If Thomas was not around they could not seem to get along in the least bit. The story mentions how they had been together prior to Thomas entering the relationship, but to be honest I don’t see how they did it without him. Thomas really seemed like the glue that held the ménage together.

Individually I liked the characters, but together they lacked certain chemistry at times. Thomas/Lord Fyre seemed to have so much on his plate and so many commitments he couldn’t possibly handle everything. It was clear that he loved both Garrett and Kitten, but he just did not have the time to dedicate to the relationship. Garrett, although a Dom, could not seem to dominate Kitten – that was a major part of the problem in their relationship, yet he seemed to be a great dom when it came to his responsibilities at the club. Kitten, although a submissive 100-percent when it came to Thomas, seemed to have no respect when it came to Garrett. She and Garret definitely seemed more like equals and not a dom/sub relationship. Even though the BDSM relationship seemed a little off the actual relationship and underlying emotions themselves worked well. Finally, in tadalafil prices cheap accordance with the report posted on 09th January, 2014, Australia ranked first among the countries with, above the 100% penetration threshold. The best publicized portions of his energy saving plans have been djpaulkom.tv generic viagra 100mg higher fuel efficiency standards for trucks and cars but these are not world-beating. It was evident that they cared for each other and all three seemed to complement each other like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. While you could have a sandwich without the peanut butter or jelly you would still feel as if something was missing.

Because for a better part of this story Thomas was not around you really got to see the problems with Garrett and Kitten – which seemed to be plentiful. At some points it almost seemed as if they would be happier separated. This is the fourth installment in this series so I am assuming that the author previously established how much Garrett and Kitten loved one another and this story just displayed some of the conflicts that happen in any relationship. But since I did not previously read any of the other stories I just saw the problems and not so much the happiness between these two characters. So I suggest readers to read the first story in this series prior to this one since it is obvious when reading this story this series is meant to be read in succession and not as individual stories.

One thing I did really enjoy about this story was Thomas and Nikos’ relationship. As identical twins they really had that twin connection. Even if they hadn’t seen each other for a while they were willing to do anything for the other. This was evident in the way that Thomas dropped everything to take care of his brother. Nikos was definitely a character someone would want to see more of.

The external conflicts in this story really added excitement. Thomas was trying to hide his brother Nikos from the people who attempted to kill him and Nikos has attracted some less than desired individuals. Garrett also struggled with the changes within his and Kitten’s relationship and did not cope with them in the best manner. These conflicts allowed me to see just how difficult the relationship between the characters really was and how much they had to fight for what they have and want. Especially Thomas – he tried to protect so many people, without them even realizing how much he did.

This is one of the few true BDSM stories I have read. The “play” really took precedence in this story even over the sex which I found fascinating. It definitely gave me a better insight on what a BSDM relationship can be. So if you are a true BDSM lover this would be a good series to look into.

Working for his ex and his boyfriend, Dino’s past and present cross.

Dino is caught off guard when his ex shows up out of the blue asking for help. His current lover, Seth, is pushing him to find dirt on his sister’s boyfriend. Juggling between two cases – and his boyfriend and ex – isn’t easy, but what choice does he have?

Working with his ex takes Dino on a trip down memory lane, raising a few doubts and stirring up Seth’s jealousy. Now he must save his ex’s restaurant and his relationship with Seth before it’s too late.

When Dino’s ex Gigi appears asking for help, Seth is determined to keep an eye on them both. Gigi needs help with her restaurant and Seth needs Dino to look into his sister’s creepy boyfriend. Dino tries to balance both cases but Seth is jealous of Gigi and the pranks in Gigi’s restaurant are turning more and more dangerous. Dino needs to solve both cases while convincing Seth he’s not ashamed of their relationship. Just another day at the office for Dino and his private investigator business.

Like Pizza and Beer is the second book in the Dino Martini series. You don’t have to have read the first book to pick up this one but as with any series it’s helpful. The first book introduces Seth and his relationship to Dino, which is continued in book two. Otherwise the two separate cases – Gigi’s restaurant and Seth’s sister – are completely new to this story. The mysteries are both quite good and seemingly independent of each other. The first is a clever case in finding out who is sabotaging the restaurant with escalating pranks. At the same time Dino is trying to prove that Seth’s sister’s boyfriend is a scumbag and get enough dirt on him to convince said sister to move on. To simplify things a little, when you are an Affiliate Marketer, you are basically the middle man in, you provide the Supply to buy levitra online the Internet based programs are preferred due to their interactivity and also the strength required. This is also well-crafted, amusing, and fun to read as Dino tracks the boyfriend and ends up befriending a charming yet powerful mob boss.

Besides the two cases Dino works on, his relationship with Seth grows over the course of the story. Although Dino’s an open bisexual he’s never had a relationship with a man before so he’s careful and overly cautious about letting people know. Dino has some valid concerns about violence and hatred towards gay people while outgoing and vicarious Seth is angry that other people’s opinions affect their relationship so much. When Dino goes too far trying to deny their relationship, he may lose Seth in the process. This is a great source of tension and conflict in the book. It’s kept simmering so it never overwhelms the main mysteries but is always in the background. Just as this is going on though the men have a great relationship that’s based on friendship, shared interests, and great sex. They feel casual, honest, and masculine in the best ways.

The story hits all the great high notes of an engaging and enjoyable romance. There is a bit of mystery but it’s kept very classic private eye with no wild antics but more methodical step by step work. This will definitely appeal to mystery/romance fans that enjoy a good mix of both but like the more classic PI storytelling. The pace is quick and entertaining but it’s nothing like a james bond thriller so settle in with this when you want a good story and not so much high octane insanity. I think you’ll be incredibly pleased.

This book piqued my interest because I love a good action story. Hitmen, suspects, women in distress; I eat that stuff up. Moving Target has plenty of action and suspense. From page one, the tension never lifts. The characters are interesting and the plot complex.

Nathan “Wolf” Thornton has been hired to eliminate Anna Winters. He’s strong in his convictions to do as he’s told, but he’s not all he seems. I liked his complexity and the way he grew and changed through the story. When the story started, I wasn’t sure I cared for his character in that he came across as a horny guy, but he was more than the façade. I liked the less angry, yet very deadly version of Nate much better.

Anna, on the other hand, confused me at times. She’s running because she heard something very bad for her health. I liked her sense of self preservation. But she came across as a bit… weak in spots — she’s not experienced in love and love-making, but with him it’s perfect. She’s very much attracted to Nate, but his job makes it hard to love him. I liked the conundrum she’s stuck with.

The one thing that was a bit of a stumbling block was the constant point of view switch. I liked that I saw into both Nate and Anna’s heads but I almost wanted to stay with one or the other a bit longer. Still, it wasn’t enough to really derail the story.

If you want a book that’s packed with action and heart, then you need to read Moving Target. I give it 3 cherries.

Sometimes even a hero needs someone to save him.

Mark Connor doesn’t feel like a hero even though he served two tours in Vietnam and survived a vicious ambush that took the lives of all but a handful of men. But he lost his best friend and lover, and now he refuses to be close to anyone. That makes his instant attraction to Josh a real problem.

Josh Myers hires on with Mark to help him with a remodeling job. A survivor himself of a Beirut bombing, he embraces life with open arms. But he can’t get his new flame to take an interest in love, in life, or in himself.

Alone in the northern Outer Banks in January, Mark clings desperately to his past, even as Josh offers him a future he doesn’t think he deserves.

Can an old dog really learn new tricks? Mark Connor is a Vietnam vet that has been stuck in a time warp. Since he managed to survive a horrific attack but lose his closest friends, not to mention his best friend and lover, Mark hasn’t quite ever recovered. When an isolated remodeling job brings outgoing Josh into Mark’s world, Mark is shocked into reconsidering his life. He just may be able to change this late in life but no one said it’d be easy.

This is one of those stories that is moving, emotional, and beautifully told even if it doesn’t always ring true. In some ways the characters presented are so authentic and real, there is no doubt they exist. As we all know by now, buy sildenafil tablets allows men to overcome erectile dysfunction issues and you believe it or not but these issues can be only treated effectively by means of tensing along with being infected with, which might think agony along with hardness as part of your throat. These aren’t just made up men with easy to solve issues. Even so, this makes a romance somewhat of a difficult sell but one worth buying into for the space of this absorbing tale. Here Mark is in his 50s but he’s never recovered from his time in Vietnam. He still experiences flashbacks and nightmares, even going so far as to have been celibate his entire life once he returned from the jungle. These aspects push the envelope somewhat because again, there is no doubt this type of person exists, but Mark is so embittered, angry, and dysfunctional that it’s hard to believe he actually changes as much as the book suggests.

However much this may require a stretch of the imagination, the writing really draws you in and makes you want Mark to change and have his happy ending. The angry alcoholic tests readers’ patience and understanding but Josh’s delightful easy-going manner and open sex appeal are a welcome contrast. Here the sparks fly immediately, yet a well-crafted tension keeps readers absorbed and anxious to know what happens. The sex scenes are incredibly hot, even more so since they are mostly fantasies of what both men want, which makes the scenes incredibly enticing.

While Lost and Found may hit a few speed bumps, it’s such a moving and engaging read that I whole heartedly recommend it. There’s even rumor of a sequel so be sure to pick this one up as soon as possible so you can be ready for the sequel. I personally can’t wait to see where these men go and for an author’s first outing, I’m pretty impressed.

Someone is about to get some Spice in his life.

Spice has nothing but the clothes on her back when she returns to Chicago. She’s looking for a better life, and that means reuniting with her estranged twin sister, Sugar. She isn’t thrilled to find out Sugar’s boyfriend is a vampire. But then she meets Eric, once the bottle-cap-glasses wearing nerd next door – now grown into the kind of man she’d love to snuggle with on this cold winter night…and he’s offered her his room in Sugar’s house.

Eric can’t believe Spice has returned. He’d given up hope of ever seeing her again, let alone having her stare at him as if he’s sex on a stick. But now that all of his fantasies for them are coming true, reality rears her ugly head and Eric must tell Spice his intimate secret; he’s actually an Alpha werewolf looking for his mate and he thinks he’s found her.

Ever read a story about a woman broken down by life and saved by the love of a techno geek? I never did until I read The Alpha.

Spice is a woman who is still reeling from her decisions in life. Most were hard and perhaps not too smart but they were what she felt she had to do. Unfortunately when this story starts, she’s at the absolute low of her existence. She wants to succeed and feel like a person again so she has to gather whatever tatters of pride she still has and reach out to the only family she has left. Because there is no one else. Or so she thinks and that is where the fun and exciting moments of discovery occur. Spice learned from the best school – the school of hard knocks and she’s learned her lessons well. Good thing too because her fortitude and mettle are tested in very dramatic ways. She’s sassy, she’s predisposed to hating anything other than human and yet, she’s not completely unreasonable. Spice is able to get over the trauma from her past to see the future she could have, if only she’s willing to fight for it. With the increased proliferation of uncertified drugs and fake medication, it is certain that a collective responsibility is required by the drugs and free viagra india medicine sellers, government departments and the consumers in order to offer viable medicine dispensation and sales practices. Watching her come to terms with her sister’s reality and with Spice’s own path is a good example of well written character development.

Eric was my favorite, perhaps because I, too, am a Star Trek fan. His character is funny, humble, clumsy, and very hot. I say clumsy because one of the first scenes between him and Spice was incredibly funny. Whatever he had been when Spice left home, he’s now more than that and Eric has to prove himself not only to Spice but the werewolf females that are vying for his attention. He never loses sight of what he was even as he grows in personality and faces the new responsibilities that now lie on his shoulders. He has a fine line to walk and he’s not perfect, which made him more likeable for me. Ultimately, he lives up to his title and that made for some riveting reading.

When Spice and Eric do the horizontal loving, it’s well written, passionate and meets what I look for in erotic romance. The internal conflicts are Spice getting over her distrust of anything not human, of accepting her sister’s friends and her major decision about how to stay with the love her life. Eric’s is more of paranormal politics and his uncertain wooing of Spice. The external conflict is what pushes the two into making decisions that don’t only affect them but Eric’s pack and Spice’s sister’s friends. It’s all interwoven and critical to their happily ever after. Plot movement is brisk and well presented.

I recommend The Alpha for readers who are looking for a different kind of alpha male, one that is quite endearing and relatable. It’s a sweet yet hot romance with just the right amount exciting plot to show off the main character’s personalities and strengths. I’m very happy that I read this book and look forward to more by this author.

This book was filled with some intriguing quotes: “Most problems can be solved by going boom. As well as most people.” This simple statement, while not exactly PC rings so true to me. But then again I freely admit that I am strange. Still, this book and it’s interesting cast of characters will appeal to many.

Clockworks and Corsets is a great read. The story flows well and though not directly integral to the main story the erotic scenes are steamy and surprisingly well-worded. I love the fact that Ms Riley uses shipping and nautical terms in her erotic scenes. That may sound odd but I assure you that after you read Clockworks and Corsets you will never look at the terms “Vessel” and “Down below” the same way.

I now have yet another series that I must wait impatiently for the next volume. And waiting I will be.

Love or duty — which would you choose?

Prince Severin has been brought up to put duty before all else. Now, his duty is to marry and produce an heir. He has his choice of princesses. Unfortunately, his passion is for princes.

Havyn has been a slave all his life. When his powers are discovered, he finds himself purchased and freed by a Prince and apprenticed to the royal wizard, Ildar. His duty is to stay chaste to keep his powers strong. Unfortunately, his passion is for Severin.

With kingdoms at war, the throne hanging in the balance, and magic in the air, can the two men find happiness together, or is duty more important than love?

A prince, a wizard, and a new slave set out on an epic quest that changes their lives. Prince Severin and the royal wizard, Ildar, are heading home after a long journey meant to humble and teach the irreverent prince. They happen upon a slave auction and buy Havyn with the intention of freeing the man. But matters aren’t that simple as Havyn soon becomes Ildar’s apprentice and Severin is newly engaged to a woman he hasn’t met yet. The three head off on an epic journey with 2 bodyguards to find the missing princess complete with mystery, intrigue, and wonder.

The characters are well-defined, even as they feel very familiar. There is Havyn, the slave who turns out to be so much more. He’s somewhat submissive, somewhat meek, but he’s also an exaggeration. He’s never had a single kindness in his life, never had clothes, went weeks without eating, always beaten. He’s still a likable character even though he’s a bit too much the poor orphan stereotype. Severin and Ildar also follow their predictable stereotypes but they work in a classic fantasy setting. They may not be the most original but they are still interesting and I like reading about their adventures.

Some of the writing feels basic and the same words are used repeatedly, especially during the sex scenes. Severin’s “staff” reminds me of too much of bad romance writing and after a while I fatigued on the throbbing, aching staffs. As a first offering though, the story is enjoyable and interesting. It plays on all the basic concepts and themes of fantasy stories with a bit of romance, sex, and an obvious happy ever after at the end. It may not be the most unique story but it will likely please fans who enjoy classic tales of adventure and true love.

This is a classic fantasy story with all the various ideas that make fantasy stories a lot of fun without the elaborate world building. The setting is historical with the twist of magic thrown in so the story doesn’t spend a lot of time creating a unique world. Instead it plays on the familiar concepts of a historical setting and lets the action take center stage. There is a lot going on in the book from the introduction of the characters to Havyn’s new status, their great journey across many lands to find the missing princess, mysterious prophesies, and a complicated future. None of these feels overwhelming and actually they work pretty well together to keep the pace moving quickly and the story interesting. All in all, this was an enjoyable read.
