Jace Sterling works hard and plays harder, especially where it concerns the opposite sex. Women are his weakness, and he doesn’t try to express self-control when it comes to getting what he wants. But then he sees Lexi, a woman much younger than he is, and she has his full attention. He knows he just has to have her.

Lexi has wanted Jace since she was younger, but he’s over a decade older than she is and has never given her a second glance. When she returns to town after college and runs into the Sterling brother, the feelings she thought she’d buried come rushing back.

When a minor car accident puts Jace and Lexi back into each other’s lives, Jace knows he won’t walk away again, not when Lexi is the first woman to spark more than arousal in him. Everything he thought he knew about himself gets turned upside down where it concerns Lexi.

Can one young woman tame a notorious Sterling brother?

All Jace wanted to do was finish his day, head into town for some drinks and find a hot woman to spend the night with. His eldest brother might be settled down with a woman now, but that didn’t mean Jace intended to slow his partying ways down any. Then he met Lexie, and Jace finally realised what had been missing from his life.

I found this to be an interesting, rough-and-tumble style Cowboy story. I was a little surprised in the beginning just how cynical and rude Jace’s thoughts were. Wanting to head down to the local bar and only interested in “getting pussy” or how knew Lexie was braless by “the way her tits shook” when she moved. Sure, this is an erotic romance and I expect my sex to be graphic and steamy, but there’s certainly a line between keeping the bedroom door open, having plenty of dirty language/swearing in a story – and feeling as if the hero didn’t value or particularly respect women. I was nervous in those first few chapters that maybe I’d find Jace quite distasteful as a character. While Jace’s character (and manners) didn’t mellow much once he met up again with Lexie, his lust and attraction to her were strong enough that he was faithful in his trying to tie her down. And this made the rest of his actions somewhat easier for me to come to grips with.

Readers looking for any pretense of romance might be disappointed with this story. For almost the whole book Lexie fully expects to only have a few nights with Jace before he moves on – Lexie has no illusions about Jace’s history and sexual prowess. Similarly, while Jace seems more willing to accept Lexie was special and different to him, I found many of his actions and especially his constant heavy talk made it difficult to see him as romantic or regular hero-like in the usual sense.

On the other hand, readers just wanting a hot, hard, enthusiastic story about two consenting adults fucking hard and full of lust for each other should be pleased with getting exactly that. There’s no real plot to speak of – but in this shorter-length story the relationship between Jace and Lexie *is* the plot. Lexie absolutely owns her own sexuality – quite prepared to admit to herself she’d had a crush on Jace since she was twelve and seeing him as some sort of pinnacle of sexual prowess. I was really pleased when Lexie and Jace didn’t hook up immediately upon reconnecting – Lexie didn’t ditch the group of girlfriends she’d arrived at the bar with and that really impressed me. Girls who ditch their friends for a quick bit of sex are a pet peeve of mine. Waiting just that short length of time also helped build some of the sexual tension between Lexie and Jace – and made the chemistry between them even hotter to my mind.

The sex was deliciously hot and I really enjoyed it. There was plenty of dirty talk, though I didn’t think there was anything particularly kinky or outrageous about the sex itself. Both Jace and Lexie though had wonderfully dirty mouths and that helped put a bit of zing into the scene for me. A good, steamy sex scene which I found was an excellent culmination to Jace and Lexie slowly circling each other for much of the story. I have to admit I didn’t find the ending very realistic and this made me wince a little with how it felt a cliché. I felt it was extremely strange for both Lexie and Jace to have such a complete about-face right in the last few pages. Personally I would have been deeply satisfied with a Happy For Now style of ending – that would have suited the characters and where they’d come from far better to my mind – but the die-hard romantic in me just couldn’t argue with any Happy Ever After, no matter how unrealistic it might have felt.

I found this to be a good, quick read with some excellent sex and a different style of character. Not your average Cowboy romance but still a lot of fun.

Kurt Trench loves running a successful auto repair shop with his twin sister Lena. Lately loyal customer Shane Dolan has been coming around more often, and Kurt assumes it’s because of his sister. While Kurt wouldn’t dream of coming between them, he can’t help being drawn to Shane himself…. Or thinking about him in ways he definitely shouldn’t.

The propensity to keep away from sexual contact can frequently leave viagra in india online https://pdxcommercial.com/32-desired-addresses-portland-business/ the partner feeling reviled, unappealing and unwanted. When a man suffers from this cialis australia prices condition, he does not get erections for satisfactory enough for enjoyable act.
One night everything changes. Kurt doesn’t reciprocate Shane’s kiss—he’s got no intention of stealing his sister’s man—but when he tells Lena what happened, she can’t believe how thick her brother is. She’s not the reason Shane’s been coming around the garage, and Kurt and Shane have more in common than a love of classic muscle cars. Now it’s on Kurt to make the next move, assuming he hasn’t blown his chance for good.

Kurt loved owning his own garage, enjoying his work as a mechanic. Shane is a regular customer who gets along well with Kurt’s sister, Lena. Shane might make Kurt run hot, but he refuses to even consider stepping on what he believes is his sister’s turf. Shane, however has other ideas, and when Shane purchases a 1970 Barracuda and asks Kurt to help with the fixing-up, Kurt just can’t say no.

I found this to be a muscle-car-lovers dream of a story. Kurt, Lena and Shane all love speed, cars and a good engine along with getting their hands messy under the bonnet. I’d think that rev-heads should be in romance-heaven with the attention to detail the author gave this story, but I can assure non-car-aficionados (like myself!) that there’s nothing overly complex described, nor did I find the car-related details swamped the sexiness of the story itself.

I was a pretty disappointed with the misunderstanding in the plotline. While initially I found it an excellent conflict point, I couldn’t help but feel it dragged on far too long into the story itself. More than half the length of the book was tied up in it. The plot really shouldn’t – to my mind at least – have dragged on more than a chapter or two, certainly not as long as it did. By well over the middle of the book I felt like it had got to the point of being almost silly, and I was frustrated by how unintelligent it made Kurt appear. Not just because Kurt didn’t realize the truth sooner, but also for keeping his feelings secret from his sister. This lack of understanding and communication really pulled the story down for me and doused a lot of my enjoyment. I really feel this aspect of the plot should have cleared up much faster – and given us more of the book to enjoy Kurt and Shane’s relationship.

Having said that – once Kurt and Shane finally do get together, the sex is hot and fantastic. The two men had been friends for ages and they were perfectly suited. This extended far out of the garage and the joint love of hot, fast cars and moved perfectly into the bedroom. While I might have wished for far more of seeing the two men together – rather than just as friends – I can’t fault the action once it finally begins. I found the sex to be hot and intense, the chemistry sizzling. I thoroughly enjoyed the lovely, happy ending and found it a satisfying finish to the story.

This is a previously published work. It has been revised and edited for Evernight Publishing.

It’s Tommy’s birthday and he’s struggling to hide his jealousy over his best mate Marcus being blissfully in love with his new boyfriend. Tommy is happy for Marcus, really, but it’s difficult for him to be in the mood to celebrate. Until Ben comes along. Suddenly Tommy’s not upset about having to share Marcus – not when all Tommy’s attention is consumed by big, strong Ben.

I was a little surprised at first by the amount of friction between Tommy and Ben. I found Tommy to be quite a complicated character, one minute appearing petty and jealous, the next venerable and intelligent. Tommy is not some perfect, white knight hero who is up on a pedestal; he’s a real man with flaws and a temper. This more realistic characterization actually made me like Tommy a lot – even when I frowned at his antics or less likeable qualities. I also though Ben was exactly the sort of boyfriend a guy like Tommy needed:  strong and slightly older, confidant and sure of himself. It was a real pleasure to watch these two men come together. Even during the times they weren’t on the same page, the chemistry and attraction was clear to me really enjoyable.

There’s a bit of kink/BDSM play – spanking and a bit of Ben tying Tommy up – but nothing too envelope-pushing and I think most erotica readers should find there’s nothing very hard-core in Ben and Tommy’s light play. I found it interesting that despite Ben feeling his was a Dom, he clearly hadn’t had much experience acting on that side of his nature. I can’t recall reading a book before where it was the Dom (and not the sub) who had so little experience – so this was strange but also quite refreshing. I felt it tilted a bit of the power play between Tommy and Ben, as while Ben was dominant in bed, Ben’s lack of experience and uncertainty of just how to be dominant outside the bedroom let Tommy initially run rings around Ben. I found this aspect of the plot equal parts frustrating (wanting Ben to be as confidant and controlling as the Top in the relationship) and intriguing, as it’s not something I’ve come across before. Overall I’m glad this uncertainty didn’t last too long with Ben, and it truly was different and interesting, but I can understand this might not appeal to some readers as I felt it diminished some of that control and dominance Ben’s character really should have held.

I found this to be quite a fresh and very interesting read. I personally enjoyed it all the more for the complications and slightly different look upon a BDSM relationship. A good, sexy read that kept my interest and delivered on a hot M/M story with some light kink thrown in for good measure.

Yet, her four lunatic best friends disagree on that last one. The voices in her head disagree, too, and even her mother seems to think she’s crazy. And sexyass will not take a goddamn no for an answer. Now what exactly is a girl do against that?

This is an interesting and slightly different style of story. I adored the title – that was what originally drew me to this book as I’ve not read anything previously by this author. I was a little intrigued by the heroine’s self-described “five different Londons inside her head” thing – it seemed a bit like the movie Inside Out, only in written form. While I found this certainly highlighted the point of having different desires contradicting themselves as reactions to various things – like simultaneously wanting to whimper in a corner, beat your boss silly and cry like a madwoman – the writing-out of the actual inner monologues really did make London seem slightly odd. I could certainly see the appeal of this unique style of story-telling from London’s perspective, but I was a little disappointed to find that for me, personally, the inner-monologue-arguments actually slowed the pace of the story. I really wanted to enjoy it, a different and fresh perspective on how we sometimes struggle with conflicting desires, but for me – it just ended up feeling odd and jarring to the pace.

Aside from that, I found this to be a charming chick-lit style of book told in the first person. London finally reached the edge of her patience waiting for her co-worker to notice her and on her birthday got completely drunk and had a lovely one night stand. It wasn’t a surprise at all when the mystery one-night-stand man turned out to be London’s new contact for a work contract, Liam Harper. Naturally mayhem ensues after London realizes that she has to work – and closely for an important work contract – with Liam and that he refuses to be relegated as a work-only friend once they reconnect. I found the story generally to be light-hearted, fun and a happy story to read, even if at times I really did want to groan at London acting in very a clichéd manner. I find nowadays my tolerance of heroines who want to stick their head in the sand over their sexual escapades is pretty thin. I find it much sexier – and realistic – for women to own their sexuality. While any character being arrogant or cocky is still a turn off, being confidant and unashamed of one’s sexual desires is so much hotter to my mind than being embarrassed or trying to ignore it and hope it goes away.

London, from the start of the story, was always portrayed as a discerning, picky woman (more power to her!) but I didn’t really understand why she couldn’t embrace a small fling or a steamy affair with Liam. Why make him jump through hoops and put her own desires and pleasures on hold? It made me think less of her and just dragged the story to my mind. Much of that part of the story really felt clichéd and old-fashioned to me, which was a real shame as so much of the rest of the story and especially the other characters felt modern and far more progressive to me.

I found the sex to be fun, descriptive and steamy, but nothing too outrageous. I feel only readers who like their romance behind closed doors will find the details to be too much. I particularly liked London’s best friends: Olivia, Valery, Eden and Ronnie. The group of girls together seemed like an unstoppable force. While it’s clear the other ladies are going to have their own books, there weren’t too many dangling plot-lines which was lovely in a “first of a series” book. Usually the happy ending is cut short with a bunch of plot set-ups for the following books and I was delighted this wasn’t the case here – Liam and London really took centre stage for most of the story and that was just perfect.

Readers looking for a fun, lighthearted and witty read should definitely enjoy this book. Even with the niggles I really enjoyed it and plan to keep an eye out for the following books in the series.

Time Out – by Sean Michael
Val and Chaz had broken up and even after a few months Val still felt grumpy and sour. He was sick of himself and ready for a fresh start. Deciding time away would be best he agrees to his friends’ offer of some time in his vacation home. Only Val discovers Chaz is there. Can they try once more to make things work?

I really enjoyed this story and feel that Mr Michael did an amazing job balancing it out. Chaz and Val have broken up because they each felt betrayed by the other – for different reasons. While they’ve both tried to move on, they still love each other deeply and want to reconcile but aren’t exactly sure how to do it when their feelings of betrayal still linger. I loved just what an excellent balance there is to this story. The problems are genuine – not wishy-washy or silly plot devices merely to create tension – but they’re also not insurmountable. I didn’t feel like one party had to cave in to the other or make an about face just to get back together. They each had to work at rebuilding their relationship – there wasn’t some easy “magical” answer to them get back together either. I found it well paced and really well thought out.

This was some excellent, emotional and strong writing that I really admired. Add in very kinky, steamy hot sex and a happy ending and I know this is a short story I will be rereading over again.

Strict Consequences – by Morticia Knight
After a rotten day at work Garson needed the focus a hardcore session at Club Consequence usually gives him. About to leave when he finds there’s no rooms free, Garson falls into conversation with his favourite Dom, Jarvis. Jarvis has an alternative plan that threatens Garson’s careful routine. Is his desire deep enough to let go and trust the strict Dom?

This is a great story and I loved both Garson and Jarvis’ characters. Garson is a creature of routine – something I could empathise with. He’s taken great pains to structure his life exactly how he needs it, to protect his heart. Jarvis is clearly drawn to the sub and is determined to show Garson that rules were made to be broken. The chemistry between the two was smoldering and I loved the give and take between them. I loved how the author showed us step-by-step how Jarvis not only broke down each of Garson’s walls, but led him exactly where they both wanted and needed to be. It was a beautiful thing to read and I loved every moment of it. The happy ending was like the icing on the cake. Perfect.

Tagging Mackenzie – by L.M. Somerton
Kenzie is seriously in lust with Dom Steele Denton, but the strict Dom seems to have no interest in him at all. Deflated, Kenzie leaves the club unfulfilled and decides to indulge in his only other passion – tagging. Steele is determined to make Kenzie his, but has been holding back, unsure if the slender, tender man really has the backbone to fulfill Steele’s deep needs. When Steele catches the man tagging his business, Steele has the perfect opportunity to put them both to the test.

I found this to be a fun and lighthearted story. I loved Kenzie’s reckless tagger side – and could easily understand how the addiction to that thrill meshed with his addiction to submission. Steele was a strong Dom, and I thought the two men were very well suited. Steele was wickedly creative when it came to making do without a playroom – I doubt I’ll ever look at a mechanic’s garage in quite the same way again! I was only pulled away from enjoying the story a few times by small niggles that didn’t appear too realistic – how many men keep floggers or dildo-like devices in the drawers scattered around their workplace without being caught and teased mercilessly by their co-workers? – but overall they were small things when compared to the steamy, sexual chemistry burning off the pages.

A smoking hot, deliciously naughty read.

Bad Idea – by Lily Harlem
Heavy is the leader of a bikers group, Junk one of his riders. The two men might have to hide their attraction, their relationship, but that doesn’t mean they can’t indulge in their very kinky desires whenever possible.

This is a hard but hot and kinky short story. I really appreciated how the chapters switched from Heavy’s point of view to Junk’s – it allowed me to understand both men’s motivations clearly and follow the story seamlessly. It’s written in the first person, but blends so well I still enjoyed the flow and didn’t lose a step. There’s a Happy For Now ending, but I felt it was perfect and realistic with the characters and their situation. Steamy hot and deliciously kinky, this was a lovely read.

Safeword – by Samantha Cayto
Carter is in an abusive relationship, his Master loaning him out to help cement his business deals. While unwilling, Carter knows he can’t escape and has accepted this as the price of living life on his own terms, as a gay submissive man. Given over to Crow for two days, Carter is initially scared of the large, gravelly Dom. Can Crow gain Carter’s trust and show him what it really means to be a sub?

While unwilling with his Master passing him around, Carter does sortof choose to remain in the abusive situation he’s found himself in. I found this aspect at the start of the story a little murky. Carter doesn’t actively try to escape – but he does inform the reader that they’re on an isolated island, too far from the mainland to swim and he can’t drive a boat. While it’s clear Carter is resigned to his current lot in life, I feel this definitely fits many of the aspects of “Forced Seduction” or an unwillingness to the rules of their Master/slave relationship. This might be a trigger or no-go area for some readers. I found it pulled my heartstrings, but wasn’t so brutal or explicitly described that it turned me off, but at the same time it really pushed my boundaries and I can’t admit to liking that part of the storyline.

Having said that: the situation changes for the better fairly promptly. Crow isn’t what he seems, nor is the situation the two men have found themselves in. It’s difficult to explain further without spoilers, but suffice to say while the threats and abuse are real, so too is the care that grows between Crow and Carter. While I’d describe this as quite a dark story, there’s definitely hope and light. A hopeful ending rounded things out perfectly for me. This definitely won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but for readers who like a biting edge to their erotica this might be a delightful surprise.

Earning His Leathers – by S. Dora
Connor loves leather and is delighted to find a small leather shop on one of his walks. But Connor wants to earn his right to wear them, and when he’s directed by the store’s owner to a certain building, Connor can’t resist the temptation to really give it a try. What he finds with Stone Carver is so very much more than he ever could have expected.

I really enjoyed this story – it’s a very different look on the story of how a Master can come to be a Dom/Master. I was intrigued by Connor’s character from the start, and although his attitude to the BDSM lifestyle was a little different I found it really interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed following along as Connor and Stone trained together and found Connor’s mindset in particular interesting. I also liked the premise of the club and the manner in which it was set up and portrayed. While the ending felt rather rushed and a little unrealistic (I don’t believe anyone can learn everything in hardly a day…) I did enjoy the reflective, almost philosophical leaning to the plot and interactions and that made me not only think harder on BDSM as a whole – but also the subtleties and interactions between a Dom and his sub that have rarely crossed my mind.

This story made me really sit back and think, to analyse the relationships and turn things around in my head. I found it delightfully refreshing and novel. While there’s not as much sex (or explicit kink) as your average BDSM story there’s still plenty of action, but it’s the discussions, learning and thought processes that I found most riveting in this story. A great read and completely different from any other BDSM story that I’ve read before. Lovely.

Marty can’t catch a break. Unable to confess to his neighbor Kevin that it’s Kevin he’s interested in, he ends up using advice to make a move on Jason instead. He moves too slowly, though, and Kevin and Jason end up dating each other, leaving Marty out in the cold.

Everything changes the morning Jason wakes up to find Marty in bed with him and Kevin. Jason wonders whether he’s made a big mistake in committing to Kevin. Marty’s mortified—he’s wanted Jason from afar for ages, but never had the courage to act on it. And Kevin is plotting something naughty that will give all three men what they’ve wanted all along.

When Marty is dumped – again – by a fly-by-lover for being dull and clueless, he decides to really start thinking about his life. He’d never been good at making or keeping friends, and so Marty decides it’s high time he learned how to build proper, lasting relationships. Only problem is, Marty discovers that’s not something that can be learned from a book. So he decides to enlist the help of his neighbor, Kevin. Can they work something out between them?

I found this to be a really lighthearted, fun read that kept me giggling off and on throughout the story. I thought both Marty and Kevin were really sweet guys and watching them interact together – especially right at the start – was just glorious fun. There was an innocence to Marty that had me instantly liking him. While sexually and emotionally competent, Marty came across to me as not just super shy, but so unused to communicating and being more than superficially friendly that I found his attempts at being friends and connecting with Kevin really sweet and fun. And while I found Kevin far more socially adept, his eagerness and willingness to help and befriend Marty lent the story an overall positive vibe and left me thinking of the book as one of those “feel good”, pick-me-up types of reads.

Making this lovely, sweet romance even more fun – Kevin urges Marty to test out his new-found social skills on a guy he’s interested in. While Marty is interested in Kevin, he doesn’t want to lose this new, important friendship, so Marty also becomes friends with Jason. Then when Jason and Kevin meet and become friends, this starts to almost feel like some Shakespearian comedy to me. While the entire tone of the story is light, friendly and flirty, there is so much lust and attraction and friendly laughter floating around I had to chuckle with all the antics going on. I really enjoyed this – finding it almost a comedy of errors and just so much fun to read.

Readers looking for a fun, happy M/M/M Ménage story this is perfect. I loved it and have already started searching out other stories by the author. With some hot – but not too kinky – sex and plenty of parts that had me giggling madly, this is a lovely story that I will happily read again and again. Recommended.

Two girls, some fruit and an office perv—what could possibly go wrong?

When Mae finally confronts the office perv, Rory, by taking part in one of his suggestive pranks with a fig, she starts a journey that changes the way she thinks and feels about her current partner, Janey. Janey lost her sight just before they met and Mae realizes she has been keeping Janey like a prisoner in her own home—safe, protected and unseen. After the scene with Rory, Mae decides to take Janey out and show her off to the world—something she should have done a long time ago…

Erectile Dysfunction in males generic viagra uk could be an indication towards PCOS especially if it’s taking a lot of effort and therapy to reverse. Little does she know what a hellraiser her girlfriend can be.

Mae and Janey have been girlfriends a while and are very happy with their relationship. But when Mae takes on a dare from the office perv, Rory, she has no idea how his suggestion will change the status quo of their relationship.

I found this short story to be quite interesting and different. Rory isn’t really made out to be hero material at all. Described not only as the office perv, but as lecherous and almost stalker-ish, I have to be honest and admit his character didn’t initially make a very good first impression. I did, however, like how it was clear almost immediately that there was far more to Rory’s character as that first “perv” impression made out. Mae and Janey also have their faults, both are quite jealous – Mae of Janey’s past experience with other women and Janey of Mae’s current social life and freedom at work throughout the day. This made the interactions between the characters – to my mind at least – both realistic and a lot more interesting than would first appear on the surface. These faults and issues were written in such a manner that they actually compelled my interest in reading further and discover how the story would unfold.

One thing I particularly enjoyed though – and which should appeal to most romance readers – there was never a question to my mind on Mae and Janey’s love for each other. No matter what else was going on between them – with or without Rory – the two women really loved each other and had a solid core at the base of their relationship. This helped ease me over any of my small niggles and little worries. I found their love and devotion to each other was beautiful to read.

Readers should be aware that there’s a fair bit of food-play sexually speaking. While figs are the initial instigation, Mae and Janey don’t stop there with their experimentation. The F/F main relationship between them is what the majority of the story is based upon. While the addition of Rory is consensual and teased/hinted at between the two ladies to ramp up their own sexual arousal the addition of a third and man for the ménage is the culmination of those fantasies, not the basis of the story itself. Readers who aren’t interested in F/F storylines might want to consider this when thinking about this story.

There’s plenty of lush sex scenes that should satisfy any erotic reader. All except the final climax scene were F/F, though the long-awaited ménage really lived up to the foundation that was laid for it in my opinion. A great scene and it left me satisfied by the high note the characters felt.

A steamy, raunchy short story about two committed women exploring their fantasies and some deliciously naughty sexual food-play. Add in the office perv for one night of a decadent ménage and all three of them are about to have a night of the wickedest fantasies. A sensual, sexy story that I enjoyed and found refreshingly different to so many other ménage stories out there.

A naked man in a graveyard… Detectives Amos and Sarah Darcy have dealt with quite a few unusual mysteries, but who cut down the naked man in the graveyard with a broadsword at midnight? When Sheriff Sam Lindsey calls on them to help solve the murder, Sarah risks her life to go undercover into a world of spiritualism and crime to find the murderer and the motive.

Amos and Sarah Darcy are called in by the local sheriff to help investigate a very strange death. Who on earth would kill a man with a broadsword and leave the body in a graveyard?

This is a really interesting book that captured my attention in the first few pages and didn’t let go. I haven’t read anything previously by this author and that is certainly my loss. Despite some old-fashioned language (which was a delightful surprise and lent the book an air of authenticity seeing as the time period is the 1920s) I caught on to almost everything very quickly and soon found myself completely involved in the story and Amos and Sarah in particular. The author has clearly gone to a lot of work and effort to make the setting and backdrop of her world authentic – like comments on how their brand new Oldsmobile was Amos’ pride and joy and Sarah had only just been “allowed” to drive it alone recently, or how they called a tape measure a “tape rule”, small things like this which made me pause, but I could quickly and easily understand what it meant. This is one of those few times jarring me during reading is welcome – it reminded me this story was set in the past and really gave it an air of a old-style mystery and greatly enhanced my enjoyment of the story.

I believe that this is not the first book with Amos and Sarah Darcy in it. Their relationship is already solidly formed and they are married and share a child. It’s clear they’ve been doing their detective work for quite some time. Despite this I entered this book cold (having never read anything by this author or about these characters before) and at no stage did I feel like I was left behind or lacking in back story. I admit to being incredibly curious about Amos and Sarah – I’d love to read more work about them when they first met, or the start of their relationship – but this actually proves to me just how well the story is written. I’m curious, wanting to know more. I’m not feeling as if I’ve been dropped in the middle of a story and world I don’t comprehend, it’s not a lost feeling – just an excitement to find a new author’s voice and characters I really enjoy. And that was a great pleasure for me.

While the plot and mystery was interesting, it wasn’t overly complex. There was a small hint of the occult/paranormal in that the murder had a few ritualistic items surrounding it. I enjoyed the interactions between the characters and found myself picking up the clues as the plot progressed. Readers who like deeply complex, multi-layered plots might find this one a bit light, but I personally found it satisfying when coupled with the interesting characters, the older style of background (the older speech patterns, older investigative patterns etc) and found this short story quite engaging and satisfying. While the love and affection between Amos and Sarah is obvious, they’re a well-settled character and the time setting doesn’t lend itself to any outrageous, outward shows of that love and affection. I’d happily recommend this story to my friends and just as easily my mother or grandmother. It’s a timeless classic style of mystery and an author I certainly plan to keep an eye out for. Recommended.

However Hamish’s family may just stand in the way of their fun. Paul must be creative this time in order to fit the family dinner into his sexy plans. Finally, he comes up with a solution to be there at the dinner table carving up the roast for the family meal and satisfy his lover’s sex-craved dreams. Paul is stuck in Amsterdam on a business trip and is really missing his husband Hamish. Their Easter plans are going down the drain too, and Hamish’s family is serving up a nice side-platter of drama. Paul has some kinky ideas though of how they can rescue their Easter Holidays….

This is a deliciously fun, kinky story. While the story definitely revolves around Paul and Hamish and their relationship, a friendly ex of Paul’s, Ethan, helps create a specific fantasy for both Paul and Hamish. While not a traditional threesome – these are both “one time only” deals – all three men do sexually interact together in two luscious, seriously hot scenes. I also liked how Hamish and Ethan struck up a kind of friendship. Ethan might be Paul’s ex, but they’re friendly and still work together occasionally, so seeing Hamish be accepting of this and get to know Ethan a bit was something I really enjoyed reading. All too often the “jealous of the ex” thing tends to overshadow any chance of common ground or friendship and it was refreshing for me to see Hamish act like a secure, grown man. I also felt this might easily lead into a following story, perhaps revolving around Ethan and I’d really enjoy reading that. I was a little disappointed that the ending seemed sudden – while there wasn’t exactly a cliffhanger I feel fairly certain the story is far from over. Readers who like every loose end tied up might find that frustrating – but it’s an excellent way to ensure people continue to look for the next book!

I really liked how about half way through the story the perspective swapped from Paul to Hamish. This helped me get into both of the men’s heads better and I liked the feeling of understanding both men quite closely. Readers should be aware while written in a fun, light and slightly humorous manner there is a fair bit of kink to the sex between Paul, Hamish and Ethan. There is a fairly serious Puppy Play scene – which I personally found tastefully written and pretty darn hot to read – but might not be a kink all readers will enjoy indulging in. Personally I felt the sex was dealt with really well and readers who are curious about Puppy Play or just kink in general might want to give this short story a try just to see what it’s like.

A fun, sexy story that should had me reaching for a lovely cool drink. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for other kinky stories by these authors.

Bailey had survived her time in the Army, but the mental and emotional scars – as well as a few physical ones – remain with her. Working as a security officer Bailey knocks down Everett Parker on the red carpet when she sees someone about to harm him. Bowled over – literally and emotionally – Everett can’t forget her and is determined to make the feeling mutual. When Everett decides he needs Bailey to accompany him back to his hometown – pose as his girlfriend – things get complicated, and they’re only just beginning.

I found this to be a very sweetly written romance story. Despite Everett being a big-time movie star and Bailey being a decorated hero and bodyguard, I really enjoyed how most of the story revolved around Everett’s small hometown and his family. To me this lent the whole story an air of intimacy – of a small town story where everyone knew everyone, not the more modern, busy city life which needs action packing every moment. I really enjoyed seeing Everett in a quiet environment, it helped me see him just as a man and a character and gave me a good feel for who he really was away from all the glitz and glamour.

The plot was thick with a huge bunch of characters, Everett’s family and later also Bailey’s family. And there were plenty of shenanigans that I really enjoyed. I was pretty disappointed, though, at how Bailey constantly thought the worst of Everett. While initially it was completely understandable – he is a movie star and a stranger, so she only had tabloid fodder to make character judgments on him – later, after almost a week of being in close contact with him and sharing plenty of time in his company it was really frustrating. I got annoyed with her for continuously assuming the very worst of him and pushing him away past all reason and sense. That really lowered Bailey’s character to my eyes and I was frustrated and annoyed by it.

I have to admit though when they finally started to make it work nearer the end of the story it was a gorgeous thing to behold. While there was definitely a “Happy For Now” ending it’s clear there’s another book on the way – hopefully one where Everett and Bailey can spend a lot more time intimately together!

Overall I really enjoyed this book. I found it well paced and very well written with a whole slew of interesting characters and plenty of conflict and steamy kisses. A good, solid read.
