Though Nissa is the primary character in the story, I fell in love with Hex and Aleron. Their relationship is based off of mutual adoration and respect, but due to a twist revealed about half-way in, you’ll discover it’s doomed to be bittersweet. I also enjoyed the interaction between Hex and Nissa, who are destined for one another. The chemistry between all three is intense, and the sex is so hot you’ll melt in your seat and steam like a sauna. The only thing I wished for was a bit more back history with Aleron and the tragedy that has stained his life. As there are two future installments, I imagine that the reveal will come in the future.
