In Some Like It Rough, the title story, Kate Pearce spins a tale of three lovers who knew they wanted each other but not the depths that they needed each other. I love the sensuality in this story. You feel like you are a part of the threesome. Although there are a few un-answered questions, this story is filled with characters that will stay with you long after the last page.
In Private Eyes, by Susan Lyons, we meet Hayley and Ry. They both work for the investigative firm, Private Eyes and are in the midst of catching a suspected cheat. I like how she comes into her own while taking on the case, but Ry’s interest seems a bit quick. I also like that Dante, though he’s got a few rough edges, is just the man she needs. They worked together well in and out of bed.
