I love a good vampire story. Add the element of man/man love and I’m hooked. Eternity is a good mix of both. Ms. Loren drew me into the story quickly. I wanted to know more about Damien and why he met up with Jason what seemed like a seedy environment. I felt their desires, needs, and deepest emotions as if they were my own. And the out come—that was something I didn’t see coming and loved.

If anything, I wanted to see more in this story. I wanted to know more about Jason—why was he there? What was his story? And Damien. Now, I realize this is a short story and there is only so much room to work with—but I think this is a positive for this story. If Ms. Loren writes the continuation (and I hope she does), then there is plenty of room for growth and development of the characters. What wasn’t touched on in this story can be wrought in the next one.

If you want a story with a hint of bdsm, lots of man on man action, and an ending to satisfy, then you need to read Eternity. I give this story 3.5 cherries.
