Kali, warrior queen of Zudris, had her heart broken five years before when Gar, the warrior she had chosen for her mate, walked away. Now he has returned bringing two priests of the Order of The Chosen One. The Order has singled her out to do their test because of her Pantherinae blood that has marked her with eyes of a cat.

Walking away from Kali had been the hardest thing Gar had ever done. But if he hadn’t, she would have depended on him and wouldn’t have grown into the strong queen she was.

Doing the test awakens something inside Kali. In her dreams, she meets an ancient Pantherinae shaman who can shape shift into a black panther, one who wants to claim her as his mate.

Kari, queen of the Zudris, is not pleased when she sees Gar standing at the back of the throne room. Not pleased that the man who deserted her on the eve of her greatest battle five years ago is back. Not pleased that he had brought two priests of the Order with him. And most of all, she is not pleased that her body screams out for him the moment their eyes meet.

Gar is determined to regain Kari’s trust. He brought the priests to challenge Kari to take the test, believing she is The One. Kari is not at all sure. If Gar’s belief in her is misplaced, the test will kill her. And if she passes, will she be able to deal with the new dark presence her awakened destiny brings into her life?

The Chosen One is an interesting story with original ideas and steamy sex scenes. The characters are strong and believable, and the plot has enough twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. I would have loved to see more detail in the world building, and language purists might take issue with some mistakes in the use of words, such as naval instead of navel. However, turning off your inner editor is certainly worth it. A good read I would recommend to any lover of fantasy romance.

All Blyth wants is a nice relaxing getaway from her wreck of a life and ass of an ex, Johnny. What she gets is a double booked condo with the playboy from Hell. First she walks in on him in the middle of very loud sex. Then she gets caught looking. And God help her, she’s turned on. Unfortunately, he’s on to her and he calls her on it. Anthony is rude, infuriating and definitely a player. Blyth knows she’s in for an anything but relaxing vacation if she’s going to have to share quarters with the likes of him. What Blyth isn’t counting on is being sucked into his vortex of sex or the fact that he seems to be able to push her past boundaries she didn’t even know she had. Somewhere in the midst of his parade of girls and huge ego is a real man. Who has real hurt. And the real part of him is calling to her. First with temptation, then with sex and then something more. She’s just not sure if she’s strong enough to answer.

I found Double Booked to be a very good story about two wounded people who are brought together by a mutual friend to hopefully heal each other.

Blyth Monroe is a twenty nine year old woman who’s boyfriend of five years cheats on her. Oh course Blyth leaves him, but she is difficult to be with. After two months, her friend Craig forces her to take a vacation at his beach house. I felt that Blyth needed to get away and enjoy herself. Unfortunately, she walks into the same situation that occurred with her ex. Blyth is turned on by her roommate and would like to get together with him for a little R & R. I could understand her frustration when she is practicality throwing herself at him and he keeps saying not now.

Anthony Street is enough to make any woman weak in the knees. Woman keep throwing themselves at him and he takes them up on it. Everyone except Blyth, that is. He knows all about her situation and I get the feeling that he is trying to help her in his own way. I think he really starts to care for her and that frightens him and makes him want to not have intimate relations with Blyth.

The conversations and fights that Anthony and Blyth have regarding the opposite sex and themselves were great. I felt that I was in the room with them as they fought. Things really came to a boil when Johnny shows up at the beach house. And can I talk about boiling. The sexual scenes were very explicit and had me feeling each caress and warming with every spank.

My only beef was with the editing of the book itself. There were the standard errors of homonyms i.e. bear used instead of bare and the incomplete spelling i.e. the instead of them. The one blatant error was when Johnny showed up at the beach house and Blyth referred to him as Anthony. Mind you, Anthony was not even in that whole scene. If not for these editing errors, I would have enjoyed Double Booked much more than I did as these errors throw stumbling blocks in a good read. If you can overlook these errors, Double Booked is a good story that is worth reading.

In a landslide election, engineered by political mover and shaker Catriona Molyneux, Serena Plim becomes Australia’s first female Prime Minister. Of course, the electorate doesn’t know she’s a werewolf.

The rise to power has not been without cost and Serena has sacrificed much. Her glorious ménage with Jack Wolfe and Kelvin Waters is broken.

Apart from keeping a thriving democracy going and battling global warming, she has to contend with the Wolfen Council, whose agenda is far more dangerous than rising sea levels and a climate gone mad.

The nefarious Wolfen Council doesn’t appreciate her disruption of their plan to subjugate humanity, and they mean business, deadly business. Events are boiling over, and in a bold political move with the fate of humanity at stake, Kelvin Waters acts as an envoy and approaches the archenemy of the wolfen, the vampires.

Will the vampires help Serena in her war with the Wolfen Council? Will the sultry Catriona Molyneux finally ensnare Kelvin’s affections or will he fall for the vampire seductress Commander Ling?

Although certainly hot, this story’s plot was occasionally difficult to follow. There were so many twists and turns that it was hard to keep up. As Australia’s first female prime minister, Serena spends a lot of her time, even while engaged in smoking sex with her husband Jack Wolfe, missing the inclusion of their former ménage partner, Kelvin Waters. Kelvin is attempting to stop a coup by the Wolven counsel, by engaging the vampires to help the new government.

If you’re more able than I to keep up the the complicated, thriller side of this story, Political Expediency is a wonderfully erotic tale and the sex burns up the pages.

Idealist Joshua Hunt has been sent on a hopeless mission. He must convince the mysterious Professor A. Voss to cease her dangerous experiments which threaten the wolfen with extinction, or she will be assassinated.

To warn her, he travels to Titan, one of the inhospitable moons of Saturn. Expecting the studious “old maid” stereotype of a female scientist, he finds instead a coven of voluptuous vampires all named Voss, living in a sumptuous pleasure dome and one, a red-headed beauty, steals his heart at first sight.

Anna Voss is on the brink of a momentous discovery and will let nothing stop her, not even this gorgeous hunk of werewolf. Desire for the romantic Joshua, however, forces her to break down the barriers of prejudice which have kept vampire and wolfen apart for centuries.

Not only has a wolfen death squad followed Joshua to Titan, but he also runs smack into the evil Lord Draco and his equally malevolent consort, Mi-Kun. Evil plots and counterplots writhe beneath Titan’s roiling methane clouds as Joshua and Anna risk everything to save each other’s lives.

Werewolf Joshua Hunt travels to Titan, one of Saturn’s moons, to what he thinks is a small research facility with a boring professor and a few other staff. He has to stop Prof. A. The dome is more than a boring research facility, it’s also a nest of vampires indulging in their every sexual fantasy with willing human slaves. Except for Anna Voss. Unlike her sisters, Angelica and Anthea, she is interested in no more than her work, and hasn’t had sex since before she was turned. But when Joshua crosses her path, his werewolf senses driven mad with the intoxicating erotic chemicals suffusing the air in the dome, her mind most emphatically turns from work to something else altogether. The sex is scorching, but is it enough to convince Anna to overcome the ages-old animosity between vampires and werewolves? Can they unravel the complicated web of plots around them? Which A. Voss’ research is it that needs to be stopped, anyway, and why?

So often erotica suffers from woefully inadequate plot and character development in favor of hot sex. What a pleasure to find a tale that sizzles, but at least has a solid plot and believable characters visible through the steam. The writing is more than adequate, and where it falters the story is strong enough to carry the reader through the missteps. I thoroughly enjoyed the clever twists and turns in the story. Worth the download price.

Adrian Scott doesn’t expect to fall in love with his employer after spending one night with him. Graham Elliott is handsome and exciting, a very wealthy man, not in Adrian ‘s league. But their night together was intoxicating, and Adrian can’t shake the thought of making a life with this older man. As per their arrangement, they have twomore nights together. Will that be enough time to convince his boss they belong together, or will the deal prove to be nothing but trouble?

Nothing But Trouble reminded me a bit of the British Mills and Boons books I used to read as a teenager. I loved those chaste doctor/nurse or boss/secretary storylines where the heroine was always out of the league of her beloved, and only dared to dream that she would ever end up with him.

Like those early heroines, Adrian Scott is young (24 years old) and pretty much alone in the world: his father is dead, he takes care of mother while doing the survival job of waiter/bartender. The cash for junk cars in Edmonton depends on the age & the past medical record of the person. tadalafil online mastercard A quality penis pump will cost you over $350 to the cialis lowest price least. When his closeted boss, Graham Elliot proposes a paid liaison between the two of them, Adrian agrees. Adrian had always been attracted to the sophisticated and wealthy older man, but never imagined that he would be so lucky as to actually become intimate with him.

Unlike those early innocent heroines, Adrian and his boss have grunting, hot, man on man sex that is described in full detail. The explicit dialogue and sexual activity shouldn’t really blend with the traditional nature of the storyline, but somehow, author Jamie Hill manages to weave together the opposing elements quite successfully.

As Adrian’s lust for Graham turns into love, I couldn’t help but connect with his feelings of vulnerability, and the pain he experiences knowing that he is in love with a man who is adamant about maintaining his façade as a powerful and straight casino owner. On the other hand, I also understood that, as an older man with a public image, it is not as easy for Graham to be “out” as it is for the younger Adrian. It is also not easy for Graham to admit that someone as young as Adrian could love him for more than his money.

For me, Nothing But Trouble was a quick, enjoyable quick read, that made me want to grab a fan one moment and reflect the next moment about those romances of the past.

Review by Buttercup

For 250 years, the Arcée brothers have been in conflict. The vendetta between these two powerful vampires has shown no signs of resolve or waning. The concession made between the two is that the location of their ongoing war is moved every five decades to help prevent hapless mortals from discovering them. It was determined that the new locations would be chosen by a delegated Keeper, symbolized by a custom-made tarot card. Where the card goes, so do the Houses and also the war.

When the card changes hands, each house sends out Seekers, specially trained vampires who race against each other to be the first to discover the card’s new location. The first one to find the card and take control of the new keeper has the upper hand in the battle for that duration as they gain first foothold in the new city.

This year is a turning year. Julio Mendoza receives the card in the mail, unaware of its meaning. When he learns of the history of the card, he realizes he has been thrust in to a war that holds nothing for him, yet he cannot escape his fate. Still he will not accept his role meekly.

Michelle Bryson is a Seeker for the House of François Arcée. She is pitted against a ruthless rival from the House of Pierre Arcée to get to Julio first. Michelle is a young Seeker and if she fails to capture the Keeper, her life may be forfeited. What Michelle did not plan on was to find the Keeper to be a sexy, rebellious man who has a spirit in him unlike any Keeper she has seen in the past.

Julio knows the vampires are coming for him. He knows that he cannot hide forever. When the Seekers find him though, he cannot deny his attraction toward Michelle – an attraction that they will both pay dearly for if the Seeker from the House of Pierre Arcée has anything to do about it.

Unsuspecting Julio Mendoza receives a ‘Chariot’ Tarot card in the mail and wonders what it could mean and why someone from California would send it to him. He is familiar with Tarot because his mother makes her living at reading and is quite proficient at the art. After mulling over it for a while, he decides to take the card to his mother for her thoughts on the matter. Meanwhile, new ”Seeker” Michelle Bryson from the vampire house of Francois Arcée is hot on the trail of the card. She must find the “Keeper” before Francois’ twin brother Pierre’s seeker finds him. Pierre and Francois have been feuding for over 250 years. She is in for a few surprises herself after she does find the card and the “Keeper” first.

This story grabs you immediately and moves quickly along building to a nice crescendo. Ms. Lee has woven a wonderfully unique story with likeable characters. The only pitfall I found was the weak editing. This author tells a fabulously imaginative and unique story but it lacks an element of imagery and a system of beats to place the reader within the scenes. The dialogue is true and realistic though it seems to ramble without little side actions and beats to keep the reader ‘seeing’ and ‘feeling’ the scene. Other obvious edit issues pop out throughout.

Even with the above-mentioned issues, which brought the overall rating down, this book is definitely worth the read. When Seeker, Michelle, and Keeper, Julio, get together under one roof, things explode. Between the warring brothers, the past romance issues and the attraction these two discover for one another there is never a dull moment. Will Julio still the dueling brothers from senseless killing amongst the two houses and will Michelle deal with the lost of her first love turned traitor? The only way to find out is pick this one up and give it a hearty read.

Kudos to Desiree Lee for a unique and enthralling tale. I’d definitely read more from this author.

Traci Morgan thinks her marriage is over. Her husband, Rick, is determined to prove her wrong. What he’ll need is a blindfold, a few silk scarves, and a whole lot of trust from Traci to put things right between them.

In “A matter of trust” reality is present in every way, from the relationship issues than any couple can suffer, to the bed scenes, to the characters.

Particularly, I loved her characters. Ms. Wynn is able to portray a real woman, one which with I could easily identify myself with. Her main character, Traci is a woman with curves (not the usual perfect model look-a-like). She is a woman that feels embarrassed by her looks, that is worried about her appearance. Throughout the story we see Traci as her husband sees her, and it is described and explained in such a wonderful way that I was able to place myself in Traci’s position, and be seen as any woman should: beautiful.

The sexual scenes are described quite well, inciting I would think, any woman to try out those moves with her man (I for sure I’m going to give some a try). Besides, the dominant roles that are played by both Traci and her husband, Rick, make it all more exciting.

They say trust is one of the pillars to a relationship, and across this story Ms. Wynn convinces me that this is so. No man can please a woman or vice versa if there isn’t complete trust; lack of trust leads to misunderstandings and unhappiness.

Everything in this story is reachable, available for anyone to have experienced or experience.

When PFC Superstar Corby Teller meets Cassie, he knows she’s something special. He plans to spend his life making her the happiest woman alive. And she could be. That is, if Steve would stay out of her bed.

As I read this book I was reminded of the TV show Desperate Housewives. Everything happens so fast and is a little unbelievable at first but once you get into the book, you just go with the very fluid storyline.

Cassie struck me as the type of girl I don’t mind hating. She’s one of the boys. Knows about sports, the history and how to play them and loves football. She has her best friend, first lover and bed buddy no matter when or where in Steve. I believe that Steve liked having his cake and eating it too. He knew he would always have Cassie available for him all the time even if he was with another girl. It seemed as though they both looked out for only themselves and did not want anything to go anyway except their way.

Corby was a sweetheart. He fell in love at first sight with Cassie. I fell in love with him as the story went on. I felt his emotions as he cried, loved. laughed and was in pain . I kept rooting for Corby and wanted things to work out for him. Yes, I know he can have a temper and be a little demanding but he just seemed to be a big lovable teddy bear that I wanted for my very own.

I can see how this could happen in real life sports. What happens to the ex-wives? I learned a little in this story. Did I like the main characters as people? Not especially but they played the roles they were written extremely well. I loved the secondary characters. With them I got the charisma, charm and smiles I wanted.

Even if you’re not a sports nut, this is a hot read that I would recommend instead of forcing yourself to sit through that game on television.

As she turns to leave, she’s accosted by a man she’s already turned down that night and as she struggles to free herself she’s rescued by the kind of dom she dreamed of, Luc Campbell. After turning her on more with a look, a touch and a kiss than she’s ever been turned on before, she chickens out and runs.

But Luc isn’t letting her go that easily.

He tracks her down and offers her a deal she can’t refuse: one month as a submissive under his tutelage.

This is a fun, well-written story about a sexy man who enjoys playing at dominance, but doesn’t live and breath the lifestyle; and a submissive who just can’t quite give up control. I had so much fun watching the tug-o-war between the two of them as they learned to trust, to learn about each other, to make mutual sacrifices and, ultimately, to fall in love.

My only real complaint were the editing errors that littered the manuscript. To many folks, they may not have been as evident, but especially word misuse, (“…wet your appetite…” instead of “…whet your appetite…”, for instance, or using the word “till” instead of ” ’til ” to mean “until”) really threw me from the story. A personal pet peeve, perhaps, but they are errors that should have been noticed by someone as the story progressed through the editing process.

Editing errors aside, however, this author has a great voice, and penned a sexy and funny foray into the life of one woman as she experiments with a bit of bondage and some really amazing sex.

He needs to keep his hands off her. But with her scent teasing his senses, Decks isn’t sure he’ll be able to resist.

This short but tumultuous story takes the reader to a futuristic space society, where Roen and Kam have a sizzling one-night stand before they realize they’re actually on opposite sides of the asteroid mining business. While both try to resist each other’s sexual pull, it’s all in vain. The sex in this story is hot and well-written, and I especially liked the concept that Kam possesses the “Kouri” scent of her grandmother, which allows her to drive men mad simply by nearing them. Both characters are equally strong in this story, and so they’re well-matched as enemies but also as lovers.

I wasn’t crazy about the gratuitous use of profanity in this story, to be honest. I have no problem if it contributes to character development or is necessary for the plot, but neither really seemed to be the case here. I also felt that the climax of the story, which pits Roen against his TRUE enemy and threatens both characters’ lives, was somewhat underdeveloped and resolved too quickly.

However, I did like the happy ending that finds Roen and Kam. It looks as though these two space dwellers will have nothing but hot sex to enjoy together on Adana!
