Isabella, the wife Sheikh Adan thought was dead, has just walked back into his life on the eve of his wedding to another woman.

Now Adan is to be crowned King, Isabella must be his Queen—sharing his desert throne and the royal bed. But gone is the dutiful, pure girl he once knew; in her place is a defiant, sultry woman who makes Adan’s blood run hot. A woman who has no memory of being his wife….

Isabella a.k.a. Bell Tyler learned to live with the hollow place in her heart and in her memory. She sings in a bar in Maui where the clientele love her. She’s a long way away from Jahfar and the desert; where she grew up in her father’s house.

When the arrogant, magnificent, “full-of-himself” King of Jahfar appears and declares she is his wife, Isabella is sucked into a vortex of confusion. Sadness, terror, anger, and a crushing desperation assail her. He has proof of their marriage and he also tells her she gave birth to a son, Rafig.

The reader gets to go with Isabella back to Jahfar to try to make sense of that forgotten part of her life and to assimilate it into who she is now.

How Isabella finds her way, the accepting nanny Kalila, the adorable Rafig who bounces and says “sing Bell”, Isabella’s father, and Adan’s good friend/fiancé Jasmine all come together to comprise a story that captivates and keeps one turning pages. The love scenes and mother/son scene are breathtaking.

She uses imagery and descriptions that entice all the senses, taking the reader into the heat of desert and into the heat of love that moves past old horrors and sparkles with humor, joy of life, and promise of a lasting happy-ever-after.

Roz could be the woman he’s searched for all his life, but he cannot lead her to that conclusion. Will Roz recognize him as they explore her dreams? Or is their soul-deep love all in his head?

Can a love exist through the ages?

Max Molinari has had recurring dreams since he was seven years old. Sometimes with different settings and time periods, but always with the same woman’s face haunting him. Now forty years old and still unmarried, Max has a practice where he specializes in past life regressions, half in the hope one day he will find the green-eyed woman of his dreams. One evening at an art gallery, Max finds some sketches that mirror his own dreams and he asks the gallery owner to contact the woman who drew them.

Rosalind Lennon appears at Dr. Molinari’s office clutching the card he gave the gallery owner. She, too, has been visited by recurring dreams and feels as though she has lived past lives. But Roz’ eyes are blue and she doesn’t recognize Max. In fact, there’s no recognition on either side. Still, Max begins several sessions with the young magazine executive and part-time artist who tells of Welsh castles, Civil War battles and other tales, all familiar to Max. He cannot insert himself into the equation: it would be unethical. Besides, Roz looks nothing like his dream woman. Finally, Max is determined to visit the site of one of her sketches he has purchased, a waterfall he learns is Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Maybe there, he’ll meet the dream woman.

I loved this story on many levels. It’s interesting, colorful and well written. I immediately empathized with Max and then Roz. Ms. Lucas does a wonderful job of feeding in plot points in a realistic manner and keeping the pacing active. The reader is rooting for the lovers to reunite and hoping that Roz is the lost love or can direct Max to the woman who is. An excellent story that deserves a best book award in this reviewer’s opinion.

When Professor Peter Shayne uncovers a driver’s license concealed in the trunk of the T-Bird he’s just purchased, he tracks down Nina for more information. As they follow clues together, Peter finds himself attracted to this woman, but what if they locate her husband? How can he declare his love for her if she’s still married?

Torn and confused by the unfolding secrets of the boy she loved and married, Nina doubts she can trust her growing feelings for Peter. She must discover her husband’s whereabouts, even if the truth hurts.

Living in limbo can sap a person’s courage and destroy dreams—a truth Nina Kirkland comes to realize more every day. Even with passions riding high, Reed knows an affair with Katrina can’t continue. She’d once lived the ranch life and long ago decided it wasn’t for her. Though every fiber of his being yearns for the country, can Reed risk losing the only woman who makes him crave something more?

Cowboy, millionaire with sex appeal to boot… where do I sign up?

Ms. Dunlop has written an intriguing romance with this book. The words flow on the pages and I had to know more. The story line comes across in a very matter of fact way. It’s like sitting in your kitchen with old friends and listening to them talk about their lives. I felt like I was right there with them, going through the story.

Reed and Katrina are quite the pair. Total opposites. They reminded me of the old Donny and Marie song, “A Little Bit Country.” She was very much a city girl. He personifies country manners. Now don’t let me get ahead of myself. Taking Kamagra levitra no prescription you could try this out Jelly is very easily compared to the placebo. While I liked the characters, there were things about them that had me scratching my head. Reed is almost too perfect. He knows what to do to make her happy, does it at just the right moment. It’s sexy because I could tell he cared and she was his whole world. At the same time he was almost too good to be true. But it wasn’t a deal breaker for the story. I still loved him. Katrina has her own ball of originality. There were more than a few times I wanted to bop her over the head. She comes across very snobby and needy at times. For a city girl, I thought she could’ve used a little more backbone.

Now don’t let those small factors be deterrents against this story. Far from it. There’s a definite chemistry between Katrina and Reed that jumped from the pages. I rooted for them to get together and stay together. Reading about them realizing what they knew all along was a great journey I’ll gladly take again and again.

If you want a book that’s a little quirky and packing heat as well as heart, then this is the book for you.

They say an eclipse yields a powerful force, an energy that can be harnessed by those with magic in their souls. On such a day when the sun disappears behind the shadow of the Earth, a mighty wizard evokes the elements of nature. Torin O’Faelain has spent the past two years enslaved by Vikings. A man of strong principles, Torin is committed to finding his way back to his native land and nothing will stand in his way, not even an angel from the future, but love and fate intervene.

One of the advantages of a time-shifting story is anything can happen. When the “future” in the story is the reader’s future, the possibilities are endless.

They’re a match made in the hallowed halls of Quantico. Until Death comes knocking…

Six years ago, Kara Bryant tapped into the mind of a serial killer—and nearly became his last victim. Her FBI colleague and lover, Davis Martin, put the murderer behind bars, then devastated her with his abrupt rejection. Worse, the vivid nightmares that followed her to her desert retreat have recently taken a fresh, frightening turn.

She should have foreseen that Davis would turn up. She’s just not sure her still-broken heart can take the strain.

Davis thought he’d made the right decision for everyone involved in a case that almost ended in disaster, thanks to his mistakes. But with a new string of killings that one by one is taking out the women of his past, suddenly he wonders if he let the real Death Angel get away. Kara is the only one who can help him nail the bastard for good this time—if she can forgive him.

He wasn’t expecting the woman he never stopped loving to love him back. Nor is he prepared to come face-to-face with Kara’s secret. One that raises the stakes impossibly high.

Some people think what Kara Bryant does is a gift. Kara thinks it’s a curse. Just when she thought she’d put the past behind her, things have an uncanny way of coming back to haunt this ex-FBI agent. Killer Moves features a couple that get a second chance, but only if they survive.

There’s a lot of angst in Kara, especially when the past comes knocking in the form of someone she once worked with. Then came startling news along with a man she prayed she’d never see again. Kara is weary and a little unsettled, and though I don’t agree with one of the decisions she’s made, she’s a likable and strong female lead. It can’t be easy for her to have a mind connection with a killer. The strength of cheap kamagra dose is categorized in three different doses viagra canada cheap of 50 mg, 100mg and 150mg. It could hardly have been easy to choose between the person he loved and the call of duty. Is it for protection or selfish reasons? Those are just a few things that the reader learns about Davis, and the past he shared with Kara, in Killer Moves.

The suspense is high, the pacing fast. There’s a new killer in town that has everyone on edge, fearing for their lives and their loved ones. Mary Eason skillfully crafts a tale that sends the characters on a wild goose chase to find a serial killer. Everyone’s a suspect. No one can really be trusted. This is the type of book you’ll want to read during the day, or you might jump at every little sound otherwise. Do I speak from experience? Yes! The story had a cute concept, and I really liked the inclusion of random frog appearances. It gave what could have ended up as a trite romance a little bit of whimsy. Frogs aside, there were absolutely no surprises in this book. Within the first two or three pages, one knows the outcome, and has a fairly good idea of how the author is going to get there.

Don’t mistake me, that does not mean it’s a bad book or that it is not worth reading. Quite the contrary! The author is talented and the story is a solid romance – and gives the romance reader exactly what they want: a “happily ever after” with some conflict thrown in to make the final scene sighworthy and satisfying. Believe me, that is exactly what this book delivers.

Having the best friend and the bodyguard “hooking up” was convenient, but a nice addition to the plot. By the finish, Robert’s bodyguard is very much a part of the story.

Michelle Sanderson may appear to be a strong, independent woman, but on the inside, she’s still the wounded girl who fled home years ago. A young army vet, Michelle returns to the quaint Blackberry Island Inn to claim her inheritance and recover from the perils of war. Instead, she finds the owner’s suite occupied by the last person she wants to see.
Carly Williams and Michelle were once inseparable, until a shocking betrayal destroyed their friendship. And now Carly is implicated in the financial disaster lurking behind the inn’s cheerful veneer.

Single mother Carly has weathered rumors, lies and secrets for a lifetime, and is finally starting to move forward with love and life. But if the Blackberry Island Inn goes under, Carly and her daughter will go with it.

To save their livelihoods, Carly and Michelle will undertake a turbulent truce. It’ll take more than a successful season to move beyond their devastating past, but with a little luck and a beautiful summer, they may just rediscover the friendship of a lifetime.

You just never know when it’s time to confront your past. Let go of the pain, make amends with those you once loved. In Barefoot Season, Ms. Mallery sets the stage for two women, once friends, until betrayal tore them apart.

Carly and Michelle were like sisters at one point. Who would have thought they envied each other, never once sharing those feelings with one another? Michelle, bitter and angry, has come back from serving in the military. Though she isn’t very likable at first, it’s understandable why she acts the way she does. As the story progresses, Michelle is redeemed into a character I cared about. I’d hoped things would work out for her in the beginning, despite her attitude. She’s got a lot to own up to, and people to deal with she’d left behind all those years ago. It’s never easy.

Then there’s Carly, the other heroine. She works hard to be the best mother she can be for her daughter. It looks almost as if history may repeat itself again when Carly shows feelings for Sam, and he takes a liking to Carly and her daughter. For Michelle, her love interest is less subtle, but it does show promise with Jared. Though Both Sam and Jared play a role in this book, their relationship with the woman doesn’t take a leading role in the story. I was particularly interested in how the story would play out with Sam, as he knows both Carly and Michelle. I would have loved to learn more about Jared, but his character wasn’t as up front and center as some of the others.

Ms. Mallery creates another delightful story with emotion and depth readers are bound to fall in love with. When picking up a book by this author, we know one thing- we’re in for a wonderful heartwarming ride. Barefoot Season is no different. The bonds of friendship and family are tested within the pages of this novel. Let’s not forget about falling in love. Both Michelle and Carly have a chance for happiness.

This book aims to please. It’s one that belongs on the keeper shelf, to be read over and over again. Michelle and Carly, plus all the other characters in this book found their way into my heart and mind, even when the book was finished. If you’re a fan of contemporary women’s fiction with strong romance elements, then I strongly suggest Barefoot Season.

From her seat in the twenty-second row, Anabel Bernier recognizes with a jolt the handsome star of the magic show. World War II and the passage of time did nothing to dim the burning memory of her moonlight encounter with the charming Stephen Elliott and his Mayan relic on the deck of the USS Hope. Finding him again twenty years later stirs up more questions than answers. Can she trust that he is telling the truth? Could the stone and moonlight have affected her too? Unexplained events, secrets, and powerful magic threaten their second chance at a future together. But how long would the future be? Minutes? Days? Years? Forever? Terrible choices could lead to unthinkable consequences for Stephen and Anabel. The mysterious Mayan relic holds the key.

Don’t take candy, or companion spirits, from strangers. Most kids have been given that advice about candy. Candy from strangers carries the possibility of danger. Companion spirits carry a bit more than the possibility. Illusionist magician Stephen Elliot could have benefited from that advice and its corollary. Precautions This medicine is only commenced for the ED sufferer purchase viagra online a woman, normal men or below 18 people should not try it. If you don’t, you’ll suffer the consequences.

Stephen didn’t mean to break the rules, but sometimes intent doesn’t matter. There are still consequences.

Moonlight and Illusions is a book that hums a familiar tune: love works in the strangest ways. Still, I would have liked to have seen the scenes and experienced the consequences paid by Stephen and his family following the Companion’s exposure to moonlight. There’s a lot of story that gets glossed over. It may be back story since the main plot involves his relationship with Anabel Bernier, but there are chapters of back story and a few of the missing scenes are referred to repeatedly. I’d have happily exchanged some of the present day “maybe I love him, maybe I don’t” scenes for the much more interesting experience of watching the consequences unfold and seeing the realization of those consequences dawn on Stephen and his family.

Ms. Wylie does a fabulous job with setting—Mexico, battle fields, hospital ships, Mayan ruins. She’s a master at incorporating the reader’s senses to transport them to each time and place. Moonlight and Illusions is a fun, captivating read, but it could have been truly amazing. I’ve read other books by Ms. Wylie and know she has the talent to pull it off. Delving a bit deeper into the curse/promise of the stone would have made this book sing instead of simply humming. Still, I recommend this book for what it is—a satisfying, descriptive romance with a paranormal twist.

This story was fast paced in the beginning and moved rather relaxed throughout however I did find there were times when it dragged. Nothing significant but the conflict was somewhat repetitive.
