The beginning of the book was a bit different but made sense. It started with the past when Ridley was a child, then skipping a couple of years to her present. She has been visiting her dad and the club since she was a child. The present shows us that she is no longer a child but a full-fledged strong woman not willing to back down. She’ll get what she wants no matter what. I loved her humor and her pluck.

Venom and Ridley had known each other as long as she has been coming to the club to meet her dad. I loved seeing their relationship evolve from getting attracted to each other and trying to be a better person for each other because of love.

This was a short and action-packed romance with bits of torture scenes that might be a little too much for some readers. Overall this book satisfied my urge to read a romance and action story with humor scattered around.

The thing I disliked was that it took a lot longer than I thought to get through the first half of the book as it dragged a bit. That being said the ending was well worth the time it took.

This is a part of a series which could be read as a stand-alone. I recommend this to any reader who wants a bit of the erotic but does not want it to overpower the story.

The plot was about an enemy kidnapping the couple. They do escape and that’s what gave me insight as to how they would act or be with each other outside of captivity. It was a party. Fun and really hot! Marisol has a mind of her own when it comes to some things. She is independent but attracted to Thor like a moth to a flame.

When they get home and the story heads for the climax, I expected a lot of things. But, it took a 180 degree turn and went from a simple romance to shifters and magic. The author did a great job with introducing these new elements to the already packed novel.

Her Viking Dom is perfect for readers who love their romance with a bit of something else added in.

It is the third book in a series and could be read as a stand-alone as well as a series since each couple has their own story. A word to the wise for some readers, it has scenes of torture and humiliation that may not be to their liking.

This is a great love at first sight short story for reading under the stars.

This is a part of a series and it can definitely be read as a stand-alone. There were a lot of different species and a couple pieces of information that took me so long to understand, it became disconcerting.

Abaddon Rising is set in a futuristic world that ensnared me until the end.

Got to tell you, I am going to have a book hangover over this one.

Gabe has a history with Lissa’s father and mother and that has been incorporated into the story really well. Gabe is ruthless but kind and protective to the people who work for him; and those people mean a lot to him.

Lissa is an artist who had a good childhood until her mother died. When her father sells her, she is forced to come face to face with the worst side of humanity.

I do have to mention that the book has some scenes of violence and torture; after all Gabe is not an angel. However, with Gabe by her side, it proves to be an enjoyable read. Their passion and chemistry is off the charts.

It is the second book in the series which I did not know until I completely finished the book. That means it can be read as a stand-alone. The story is well developed and it was difficult and almost impossible to stop reading until I was completely done. It’s a recommended read.
