Being in the wrong place at the wrong time is not always a bad thing?

Noah Anderson is odd and he knows it. He has a strong obsessive compulsive disorder that keeps him organized but distances him from the world around him. He doesn’t have any friends, family, or even a lover. He’s never had a lover.

When he finds himself in the wrong place at the right time, Noah discovers that the dangers posed by having sex for the first time pale in comparison to having sex with the assassin that comes to kill him, even if it means his life.

Gage Tynan is a killer. It’s what he’s always been. And he excelled at his job until he jumped into the car of a passing motorist when his latest mission goes wrong. The man driving is so odd that Gage suspects he might have been sent to harm him. Gage has no idea that the little man that asks him to take his cat will change his life in ways he has no clue of.

Gage is dragged into a world of shifters and exiled kings, one where his strength will be called upon to keep Noah safe from the pride soldiers sent to keep him from taking the throne.

I’m not sure I’ve ever encountered a more unlikely couple than Gage and Noah in The Cat’s Meow. It came as a complete and welcome surprise to find myself so caught up with their courtship and romance. Ms. Glenn proves with this book that true love and adversity are often the very things needed to unleash the hidden potential in a person.

As is often the case, the story begins with an intense sexual attraction between the protagonists. It is only outside of the bed that Noah and Gage are at odds. Noah’s character was obsessive to the extreme, quiet and withdrawn…resigned. I remember thinking that this guy seemed almost like an alien who had read a how-to guide on being human. Fruity flavor, like strawberries or banana, is a good source online where you levitra soft get drugs for your disease. The sexual aroused ED patients get the results sooner than viagra online ordering the men taking Kamagra without stimulation. soft pill cialis There are a lot of reasons for Kamagra to be absolutely safe. Gage, the ultimate man’s man is seemingly heartless and jaded. While polar opposites, their growing love for each other makes them the perfect team.

Ms. Glenn has a way of changing the mood within just a couple of sentences. For instance, I was deeply touched by the tender words spoken at the beginning of a page, only to be caught completely off guard by a hysterical comment in the following paragraph. By the end of the same page a fan was needed due to the heat created by her descriptive wording.

It’s so much fun when a book takes tradition and turns it upside down. You’ll find that the expected climax is almost secondary to the real struggle in this tale. This concept is displayed in many of her books, where the solution to the real problem was there all the time, the characters just needed to grow as people before the answer became clear. Others surrounding the couple prove to Gage and Noah that they are not alone, and need to learn they can trust and rely on others.

This is one of my favorite books that Ms. Glenn has written. It’s really amazing how she creates totally new worlds with each of her series titles. I look forward to more books in this series. Many other fascinating characters are introduced which served only to whet my appetite for more. If you enjoy a fast paced, original romance, with witty banter and steamy love scenes, this is absolutely the book for you. I’ll end with my favorite quote from the book: “Whatever we have together, wherever we are, that will be our home.”

Watch Me by Elyzabeth M. VaLey

He watched her profile from a distance. She always came to the museum on Sundays and always stopped to stare at the same painting for at least 5 minutes. As always he saw her shudder and then take a deep breath. Usually, she’d move away to another painting, but this time she lingered. He wondered, not for the first time, what her thoughts were.

Lilly. He had met her by accident while in line to sign up for some extra courses at university. He had enlisted in this art course because she had. At the moment, he had had no idea who she was, but the prospect of seeing that pretty girl everyday was convincing enough. Besides, how hard could a course on art be? He raked a hand through his dark long hair. It was much harder than he had ever imagined. His eyes darted back to Lilly’s still figure. But, she had always been there ready to help him. While his crush on her grew, their interactions had never gotten much farther than studying together or a few class fieldtrips. The semester was almost over and who knew when he would see her again. It was now or never.

“Courage, man,” he whispered to himself as he approached her. “What do you see on that painting?”

Lilly turned to look at him, smiling.

“Don’t you see it?”

He looked at the painting. It was the painting of a woman sitting on a stool in front of a mirror. Her flimsy white gown fell off her shoulders revealing a glimpse of her breasts.

“Look at the detail, Jonathan,” Lilly prompted him.

He stared harder. A surprised gasp escaped his lips. The painting was old and had deteriorated through the ages, but he saw in the reflection of the mirror a doorway and, standing there, the figure of a man.

“There’s a man watching her,” he whispered in awe.

“Yes,” Lilly said next to him, while she wrapped her hand around his arm. “He is. Look closer, Jonathan. There is more to the painting.”

His heart beat erratically at Lilly’s touch but he tried to concentrate and looked at the painting again. Suddenly, the two figures transformed. It was no longer the anonymous man and woman. It was the painter and his lover. It was Lilly and himself.

Standing in the doorway, naked, he watched Lilly’s reflection in the mirror. Slowly she lowered the simple white gown. It slipped and his breath caught in his throat as he glimpsed the top of her creamy white breasts. She dipped it lower and her pink nipples came into view. He licked his lips. He wanted to lick, suck and pinch those taught peaks until they became hard as stones and she begged him to stop, but he had to wait.

As if she read his thoughts she weighed her breasts, squeezing them gently. He saw more than heard her gasp. Her lips formed an “O”, then her tongue darted out, wetting them and he envisioned her soft warm mouth around his cock. He groaned in despair. She looked up and their eyes met. She smiled but she did not give him permission to move.

She tugged at the gown and it finally slipped past her waist, over her hips and pooled around her feet. He swallowed hard as he took in her beauty. She was marvelously voluptuous. Her breasts were large and round, but not too big; they fitted perfectly in the palms of his hands. Her stomach was not flat, but had what he loved to call baby fat. Little rolls which he loved to pinch and tickle just to hear her giggle. Her legs were thick and well sculpted. Her ass was firm and large, perfect to be spanked. Oh and how he loved to trace her crack with his finger. She’d always shiver under his touch and he’d grin in appreciation. He closed his eyes in remembrance. His hard cock twitched at the memory.

He opened his eyes and saw her watching him, waiting. She raised an eyebrow and he nodded. She smirked in a mischievous way and he growled. How she loved these silly games when all he wanted was to pummel into her.

He struggled for breath as she lowered her hand and touched her vagina. Ah, ambrosia. No, these were no silly games. He loved watching her just as much as she loved showing off to him. The hair that protected her pussy was neatly trimmed. Her legs were still closed and he ached to see more. She sat down on the stool that was placed before the mirror and opened her legs wide. He almost came from the mere vision. He chanced a glance at his cock and saw precome glistening on its bulbous tip. Gods, she drove him wild. When would she allow him to get nearer? He could smell her from this distance, barely a few steps away from her. He could smell her arousal, and he could see it too. In the dim light he could see the hairs between her legs glistening with moisture, like flowers with morning dew.

Bracing himself to what she would do next he looked at her again. She had spread her pussy fold with her hands allowing him an even better vision. He balled his hands into fists and curled his toes. Until she said so he could not go to her and bury himself deep within her wet cunt.

He watched in fascination as she introduced a finger inside her moist entrance. He heard her sigh and saw her shoulders sag slightly as she relaxed. A low grunt escaped his lips. She did not look up at him. Concentrating on her task, she pushed another finger inside and then a third digit. In and out they moved. Her body shook and shuddered with her own ministrations. Her other hand flew to her clit and she began to rub it in slow circles. He growled as her head fell back and moans of delight escaped her.

“Jonathan.”

That was all he needed. It was barely an audible whisper; perhaps he had even imagined it. It didn’t matter; he couldn’t take this torture anymore. He was suddenly picking her up, and sitting himself on the stool. Grabbing her waist he roughly pulled her to him. Without further ado, she straddled him and impaled herself on his hard cock, her need as great as his. She cried out his name as her walls contracted around him and she orgasmed. With a groan he pushed into her twice before being unable to hold back anymore and finding his own release. He looked into her eyes and…

“Do you see it now?”

The fantasy dissolved and Jonathan shuddered and turned to look at the real Lilly. She stared up at him, her hand still resting on his arm, a blush on her cheeks and intensity in the depths of her brown eyes. He looked at the painting again and realization dawned on him. The glass covering the canvas reflected the gallery and the doorway from which he always watched Lilly.

Jonathan searched her face and grinned.

“You do see it now,” she stated, her blush creeping down her neck.

“Yeah, I see it,” Jonathan laughed. “And to think I thought I was the one watching you.”

Lilly giggled. “We honored the title of the piece.”

“What would that be?” Jonathan asked, as he snaked his hand around Lilly’s waist and pulled her closer.

“The Watcher.”

“Then let him keep on watching us, after all, -art must be an expression of love or it is nothing-,” he quoted right before bending his head and capturing the lips of the girl that made his heart understand the beauty of art.

A Pleasure Trip To Remember. . .

Shying away from commitment of any kind, Jenna Fallon’s rules in life are to have none. So when her car breaks down en route from California to Vancouver–and she’s forced to hitch a ride with a sexy stranger–she’s thrilled to discover they share the same no-holds-barred views. . .

As a globe-trotting marine biologist, Mark Chambers is used to changing locations–and women. Yet as he and Jenna make their way up the Pacific coast, camping, skinny dipping, and having scorching hot sex, Mark’s not so sure he wants to say goodbye. But is Jenna brave enough to meet the challenge of a man who may be perfect for her?

The most exciting aspect of being open minded with your choice of a new book is the rewards that come when you find that just about perfect book. That is what happened to me with this particular choice. I admit that I have never read a Susan Fox book nor have I ever heard of her, so going blindly into this story was about the best experience I have had in reading in a very long time.

Jenna Fallon is a free spirit…letting life take her wherever the universe feels she needs to go. But her life is changed because she opened her heart and gave her all to a man who took both and destroyed them. Circumstances arrive that put these two ends of the spectrum together for a long journey of discovery, not only of the landscape but of each other and but more importantly of themselves. Jenna needs a ride to Vancouver but car trouble puts her in a diner at the same time Dr. Mark Chambers is taking lunch break from his long distance ride from California to Vancouver. Jenna opens Mark’s eyes to all the amazingly small moments of life that he has not noticed and Mark brings to Jenna a realization that maybe her heart isn’t closed to love after all.

The entire story is that wonderful journey into the beginning of a new relationship, the excitement of those first hours together, the passion and uncertainty of that first kiss, the thoughts of the futures, the “am I good enough for this person” pressure but most importantly will they except me for what I am or do they want to change me?

The dialogue, the emotion, the passion and the heartache are all real. You feel everything they feel, you experience everything they do and you relate to all that is going on in their minds. By the end of the book, I was wishing there was another 100 pages so the story could go on and on. As I mentioned I had never read a Susan Fox book, and the since this is book 3 in her Wild Ride to Love series, I have since rectified that situation and I am now all caught up.

This is that passionate beginning of love to the happily ever after story that we all love to be a part of. Don’t miss it!

It doesn’t help that Ren is every bit as beguiled and perfectly willing for their business relationship to be much more. Will Karma be able to resist Slayer’s many charms? Though their kinds have been at war for years, and by all rights they should be tearing each other apart, they just can’t seem to keep their hands off each other.

Assassins in Lace: Impressions is a very quick and very graphic story. This tale isn’t for the modest or easily embarrassed. Out of thirty-seven pages, about twenty are filled with detailed sexual content. While I can’t find fault in the author’s writing, I would have liked to see a little more plot. Other than some basic information, I really didn’t get to know the characters very much, particularly Ren. I think some emotions were a little rushed, but in this short of a story, there isn’t a lot of time to delve into character and plot development. Overall, it was a fun read and definitely got my motor running.

For a fast, fun story with lots of hot sex, pick up a copy of Assassins in Lace: Impressions. I guarantee you’ll finish the book with a smile and have a sudden need to go find your main squeeze for a little fun of your own.

Into his life she came—wanting…willing…wanton.

It’s no ordinary morning when Toni arrives at Zach’s garage. Flat broke, with a past she won’t share, Toni is instantly taken by such a potently virile man. Direct and unashamed, she tells him she’s a motorcycle performance artist who needs work and knows motors.

Zach knows women, and Toni is unlike any he’s met. Lushly sensuous, exceedingly assured, she’d easily be his match in business and bed. A provocative challenge that stirs him as nothing has since losing his wife. A chance he’s reluctant to take. He offers no more than a month’s employment then she’ll have to be on her way.

The hours tick by. Each word and glance intensifies their escalating desire, forcing them to surrender to passion and Toni’s need for Zach’s dominance. Driven by carnal hunger, conquered by yearning, they face the unforeseen truth of Toni’s past and a future neither of them expected.

She came into his life on a gust of wind, full of vibrancy and a claim that she is a damn good mechanic. She ended up rocking his world and changing his life.

Toni lives in and for the moment. She’s a motorcycle performance artist traveling the circuit across the country. The lifestyle she’s become accustomed to isn’t exactly one she would have chosen, but she played the hand she was dealt. It can be sometimes an unforgiving, harsh life, but with the help of the couple she’s adopted as her family, she makes due and gives back more.

Zach has been living on the edge of loneliness now for the past two years. Since the passing of his late wife, he won’t admit to needing someone. He prefers to just go about his business with his garage and dealing with the physical pain he’s had to endure since the accident. Anything else is inconsequential and beyond his emotional capability… or so he thought. The habitual configuration of marriages produced thousands of years in China medication but has since been enhanced and enhanced. visit description on line levitra There is a small charge for attending most events though nothing that tadalafil cheap india will break the bank. A proposition is made and a deadline is set. The challenge is to just live for and enjoy the moment together, but they soon both realize it’s not enough. While Toni is able to discover the truth at the heart of Zach’s pain, Zach has to do a little more digging with some professional help. He can’t seem to stop the need to know more about her no matter how much he reprimanded himself earlier to be emotionally distant and just take what she was physically offering.

Behind Toni’s confident exterior is a woman who believes she doesn’t deserve some of the best things life has to offer simply because of how she’s lived her life thus far. She’s the complete opposite of what Zach’s used to, yet in many ways she’s exactly what Zach needs. Zach is much the same, thinking that there is no way a woman as wildly free as Toni would consider settling down with him. They become very observant of one another, gaining what little information they can because essentially they’re still strangers.

The emotional distance creates a roadblock in their intimacy. They’ve both been hurt before and have no desire to reopen some of those old wounds, yet the easy one-month job proposition and carefree sex doesn’t seem quite so easy or carefree anymore without the constant worry of what the foreseeable future might hold. They just continue to mask their feelings and move on, neither one gutsy enough to make the first bold move, yet they both fear losing the other.

Ms. Donahue has a beautiful way with words that allows readers to be taken on a journey and visualize everything as it is meant to be pictured. The detailing balance is captured perfectly without being unimportant or redundant. The reader will get a good feel for the quaint, charming town of Indulgence as well as the characters. Zach and Toni are frustrating and endearing characters at the same time. I was immediately able to liken some of their personality traits to my own making me feel connected and committed to the characters. The story flowed very nicely with lots of boiling tension all leading up to an emotionally explosive finale, just be aware to keep the tissues close while reading. The sex scenes are pleasurably creative and hot, hot, HOT! There were little problems here and there with the editing, but otherwise this story is incredible.

If you’re a stranger to the wonderful work of Ms. Donahue then make sure to check out Sensual Stranger and get yourself familiar with this amazing author!

Being that Lily is somewhat of a hometown celebrity, David spirits her off to his shack on the bayou. No really, it’s literally a shack.

While the characters were lively, believable and gorgeous, I found myself with more questions than answers as the plot continued on. The story was set in New Orleans and the backwoods of Louisiana but most of the scenery was too specific and focused on things like street names rather than descriptions. I feel someone who grew up in New Orleans would fall in love with story but it often left me confused and frustrated.

I certainly didn’t care anything about the scenery once the sex started. Scorching hot and frequent, Lily and David’s chemistry sparkled like fireworks as they explored every bit of each other’s bodies… and I mean everything. At the end, I found the book a bit quirky with a HFN that had our characters looking forward to their next adventures. It was enjoyable and left me with an urge to visit New Orleans again.

Ever since his longtime lover decided he’d seen the “heterosexual light,” Matt’s life has been in a nosedive. Six months of too many missed shifts at the hospital, too much booze, too many men. Matt knows he’s on the verge of losing everything, but he’s finding it hard to care.

Then Matt meets Aaron. He’s gorgeous, intelligent and apparently not interested in being picked up. Still, even after seeing Matt at his worst, he doesn’t turn away. Aaron’s kindness and respect have Matt almost believing he’s worth it—and that there could be life after Joe. But his newfound happiness is threatened when Matt begins to suspect Aaron is hiding something, or someone…

Harper Fox has constructed an intelligently written, thoughtful work with Life After Joe, one of internal drama and doubt.

Most breakups sting the soul a bit, but once in awhile the end of a relationship is so devastating, the jilted party feels as if the world has tilted and nothing can stop the slide into oblivion. This is where we find Matt in the opening scene, not only with his heart broken, but also with his sense of self-worth destroyed. Fast friends since childhood, Matt has never been without Joe, never truly dated, never had another partner, so when Joe announces he is leaving, Matt is devastated on multiple levels. This is not your average breakup; this is the complete destruction of the persona Matt has built for himself, one built around Joe.

The first person, single POV narrative allows the reader to join Matt in his self-destructive behavior. We get glimpses of the sensible young man still living behind Matt’s despair—he knows his drinking and sleeping around will eventually cost him his career, his home and his friends—but he’s having trouble caring. Some surveys have shown that at least one in buy viagra prescription five men across the world suffers from low sex drive can consume the following 5 food items that carry fats and oil in it. On the other hand, as there is no patent property act on that order cheap viagra , all the other company can produce it without any permission. It is an FDA approved medical formula that helps boosting the potency in men when they are cialis no rx suffering from erectile dysfunction. In this condition, a patient should immediately seek medical attention if he/she experiences any problem in intimate life. female viagra pill This vivid portrait of depression may be a bit difficult for some readers, but I found the gritty realism poignant and believable. The single person narrative is also a bit unusual for modern romance, but dramatically necessary for Aaron to keep his secrets until the end. Despite a bit of distance from Aaron, his character is still well drawn, painted by his actions rather than his thoughts as he treats Matt with almost heartbreaking kindness. He’s not perfect, though, which would have rendered him boring. Though it appears at first that his role is to rescue Matt, he is a wounded soul who needs some rescuing himself.

Much of the writing sounded to my reading ear more in the vein of literary fiction than romance, which I enjoyed thoroughly, but once again might not be for everyone. Well-crafted, beautifully phrased sentences with lovely metaphors pepper the work (I particularly loved one passage where the author compares time to a slide of honey.)

My only issue with this lovely work was in the ending, where the careful adherence to realism bent a bit and I had some difficulties with suspension of disbelief. It almost felt like a different story in the way we reach the resolution and reveal. That being said, the ending did not mar the rest of the story for me.

A well-executed story about two people finding their way back from the dark, Life After Joe is well worth the reader’s time. I devoured it in a single afternoon and sat staring at the screen, wishing there had been more.

Love never hits a wrong note.

Ever since Nate McKenzie hired on as a roadie, musician Adam James has lusted after him. So far Adam has kept his distance, knowing Nate is mourning his dead wife. But lately Adam has caught the man returning his stares. Maybe it’s time to test the waters.

Besides, there isn’t much chance Nate will find out that Adam was once his people’s Kokopelli. His powers were stripped from him, along with the magical tattoo on his chest, when his orientation was discovered.

Nate is going crazy with guilt. Before his wife’s death, he never looked at anyone else, woman or man. Now his dreams are filled with Adam. He tries to keep his mind on his job and off Adam’s sexy body, but in a moment of weakness they share a kiss that sends them both up in flames.

Their relationship risks both their hearts and Adam’s female fan base, but the attraction is too strong to ignore. Then someone takes a shot at Adam—and his tattoo begins to reappear, forcing him to come clean with his lover. And Nate to decide exactly where his future lies…before a killer steals it away from them.

True love knows no boundaries despite society’s penchant for labeling and pigeonholing. Legends and myths are not constrained by perception and their reality brings richness and rightness to a fledgling but beautiful romance.

This story is about the growth of love between two very different types of men. Adam comes from a family with traditions and expectations. He didn’t fit the status quo so he was shunned and tossed out. What I liked about Adam was his determination and zest for life. He is talented and is loyal to his friends. He respects them yet remains insecure in himself. However, he’s strong enough to not fall into a blubbering mass of self pity. He is a survivor and it shows. He never really shares his personal life with his friends in the band because he has convinced himself it doesn’t matter. It’s over. Thing is, he’s not reconciled with his past and it affects his new path in life. He’s sort of happy, but not completely. It takes courage to take that first step towards grabbing total happiness and he does.

Nate recently lost his wife; a woman he loved very much. If viagra cialis achat these parents could get along, it might have been the best of all possible worlds. purchase cheap cialis Having large meals will result in longer time to see the action of the medicine. Through numerous tests canadian viagra online proven an effective medicine to help men with erectile dysfunction without telling anyone. The therapist will simply have to implant thoughts and memories which the patient india generic viagra actually longs for. I found it fascinating that Nate is a man who’s more into the feeling of love than the definition of it. What I mean is he’s not averse to being in a relationship with a man instead of a woman. It’s the respect, profound feelings for that person and the emotional connection that holds more importance for him. I found it endearing that his internal struggle was more about being unfaithful to his wife’s memory than loving a man.

The legend of Kokopelli is more than a story, it’s Adam’s legacy. It was torn from him and yet he found a way to survive without it. The question is- how is he going to deal when Kokopelli is back in his life? That dilemma brings a whole host of problems and internal conflict that Adam has to contend with. Will Nate help him or leave him? It’s pretty much touch and go for awhile. To top it off, someone wants Kokopelli back and is willing to do anything to get it. Even though there is a villain, I can’t say I didn’t like him too. How can a bad guy be good? Ms. Munro explains it all. It’s odd for me to say that I had sympathy for the villain – it’s a rarity but no less true.

The only thing I wished the author had done was provide a bit more background on Nate. There is only one reference to his immediate family and only a passing wonder on how they might take the news that Nate is now with a guy. I guess the major conflict revolved around Adam and let’s face it, Kokopelli is pretty impressive as an issue. I still can’t help wishing though. On the other hand, Adam and the band is his world, so maybe it’s perfect as is.

Seeking Kokopelli is a romantic, heartfelt and emotional story about two men healing the pain from their pasts in order to embrace the promise of love in their futures. They are both strong and compliment each other’s personalities. It’s a wonderful book with believable dialogue and secondary characters that make the tale come alive. When Adam and Nate finally come together, the man love is sensual, satisfying and totally hot. It has meaning when they express their physical affections and that really does it for me. Ms. Munro consistently finds the perfect balance and gives readers a story they can connect with. If a reader is looking for quality content, and a satisfying happily ever after then I highly recommend this book.
