How appropriately summery!
How very summery! I went to the beach for the first time this season the other week (technically I live in a seaside town but somehow the sea still feels very far away). Although my ‘beach’ experience is probably very different from something like Beach Read – we had a picnic sat on towels and surrounded by sea gulls and watched the sunset at 10pm!
Beach is the perfect word to choose for summer. I am in winter and haven’t been down there lately but not long and I will be there again.

On the Beach was really an impactful book for me. I’ve liked Nevil Shute’s books which I’ve read, though they are dated now.
