Royce is a bit more intense than his brothers while Ian is tender and a bit insecure. He is very charming and adorable and quite possibly my favorite of the three. Each brother has his own qualities and differences, which is something Nyssa also notices and it affects how she approaches her individual relationship with each of them…relationships that move quite quickly as things heat up almost within minutes of her meeting the brothers.

In addition the relationships, there is a magical element to the story and the town of Applegate that I really enjoyed and found very unique. I can’t wait to see what happens next in the series. And although there were a few times where the language or story felt a bit too modern for its historical setting, which threw me off a bit, overall it was an interesting story with a fascinating premise.

Damon got his killer and that was that, although the descriptions of the meeting were, as expected, very detailed. This book was more about Enlora, Kai and Damon.

Syren Song is steeped in realistic dialogue, flowing descriptions and some of the most erotic sex you can read. So, if you enjoy the above mentioned, then I am sure that this book is just what you are looking for.

My biggest problem was picking who I liked more, Ransom or Troy. Troy Simon was the owner of Le Club d’Esclavage and I loved his long dark brown hair and very masterful way. Ransom Seager is also tall with honey blonde hair. Even though Ransom is Troy’s sub, he took charge of Megan at times. By the end of the story, I decided it was too difficult to choose just one.

I loved how the story worked through Megan’s issues with her father. The way that all her friends along with Troy and Ransom stood by her had me cheering for the poor little rich girl.

I thought that A Toy For Two was such a good story that I am going to read the first book in this series about Natalie, At The Dungeon Master’s Hand and look forward to the third book about Dani. Jennifer Cole is an author I’ve added to my auto-buy list.
