Lina’s finally getting the hang of being mated to twin Elemental dragon shifters, but the Goddess gig still has her stumped. She wouldn’t trade being mated to Jan and Rick Alexandr, even though she might end up accidentally blowing them up for getting on her nerves.

When Lina, her Watcher, and their dragon mates are summoned to Yellowstone National Park for a shifter Gathering, Lina never anticipates she’d soon become fast friends with Brodey Lyall, a wolf shifter. She senses Brodey’s deep grief over a recent loss, but that’s the least of their problems.

An ancient foe with an old grudge threatens to destroy everything Lina holds dear. Now it’s up to Brodey to outsmart a homicidal, psychopathic chicken bent on revenge. Can Brodey safely reunite Lina with her men, or will a forest fire and Yellowstone’s harsh elements prove too much for even the wily wolf shifter to overcome?

“Goddess, huh? Special powers and your own parking space come with that gig?”

One day you are happily planning to marry your possibly gay best friend, when you both turn 35, and the next you are mated to twin Dragon shifters and coming into some seriously crazy powers. If that’s not enough excitement for you, throw in a kidnapping, prophesies and a wildfire at the family reunion in Yellowstone Park. I’m out of breath just remembering all of the action in this fun and sizzling sequel to Ms. Dalton’s Boiling Point.

Lina is mated to Jan and Rick, elemental twin dragons, because it’s their destiny but she has an incredibly complicated and heart-wrenching past with Zack, her Watcher, that spans several life times. I caught myself trying to reason out a way for them to be together in this life as well. I was therefore pleasantly surprised with the HEA Ms. These devices are installed at the air viagra on line cheap inlet hose as the air circulation affects the performance of the engine and also improves blood circulation. The search engine spiders will crawl on viagra online buy http://pharma-bi.com/2009/02/another-work-weekend/ maximum pages each day if your online shop loads quickly. Dalton created for all parties involved.

Tymber Dalton also introduces some additional shifter characters in Steam in the form of Triplet Alpha wolves Ain, Brodey and Cail Lyall. Brodey’s personal struggle of having to give up a woman he loves because she isn’t “the One” for he and his brothers is pivotal to the connection and friendship he and Lina form.

Lina is a strong woman and at times overpowers her dragon mates’ characters. At one point I even imagined them looking like reprimanded children, relegated to the third row of seats while she and Zack were sitting in the front, rather than Fire and Ice breathing Alpha shifters. I found myself wanting them to be more assertive when dealing with Lina’s mood swings and outbursts rather than deferring to Zack as her “Princess Prozac”. At the same time her history with Zack does lend itself to giving him insight into dealing with Lina.

Ms. Dalton states at the front of the book that Steam is a stand alone story, and she’s correct, but you get a better understanding of the main characters if you start with Boiling Point (available in the Tasty Treats Vol. 3 Anthology). As a single story I would give Steam 3 Cherries.
