Darian Spenser was raised in a world of social correctness, manners and cotillions. Her mother’s plans certainly did not include Darian’s college sweetheart, Davis Chancellor. Yet it would be Davis who nurtures and releases Darian’s inner vixen. Darian learns there’s more to life than where to place and how to use the fish fork when Davis begins his Love Lessons.

What do you do when you have prudishness taught to you from the moment you’re born? You buck the system. But what if the system you are so doggedly trying to buck is the very backbone of who you are?

Then you need Love Lessons.

This is a short story, but it packs quite the punch. Ms. Gage grabs the reader early on and doesn’t let go until the very end. The characters, though a bit flawed, are like people I know — real. I felt like I’d had a chat with my friends when I read this story.

Darian wants nothing more than to be the opposite of her stuffy, cotillion-attending, filthy-rich mother. She doesn’t want to be a prude. cialis samples bought this A vitamin is a vitamin. It effectively maintains the blood flow in the penile region and helps a man to achieve and maintain a long lasting and harder erection. viagra without rx usually begins to work within an hour. I liked that about her because it showed Darian had a brain of her own. What I wasn’t so thrilled with was her preoccupation with thinking outside the lines and acting just as her mother expected. I wanted to see her have a bit more backbone earlier on.

But my favorite character was Davis. Yes, he’s a jock football quarterback, but he’s got his own little flaws — he’s shy and he’s devoted. Now the devotion isn’t a flaw, but rather an asset in the long run. Where Darian is stuck in her rut, he takes the opportunity to rock her world.

Though Darian’s reactions were a little immature, I loved seeing her grow as a character through their lovemaking. The sex really scorches. I felt the passion between Davis and Darian and hoped they’d find their version of happily ever after.

If you want a quick story that’s got lots of heat, then you need to read Love Lessons. I give it 3.5 cherries.
