Tas Rivers is working undercover as a canine cop to capture the culprits killing rare, endangered white wolves. Tas can handle the job, but living with her sexy human partner is getting to be more than she can endure.

Alone for holiday, with only his partner for company, Ranger Cooper Holt makes a Christmas wish, one Santa is unlikely to deliver.

Sometimes you get what you wish for.

In this quick and fun read, working with a canine partner to find poachers who are killing endangered wolves, Ranger Cooper Holt doesn’t realize that there is more to his partner than meets the eye. So needless to say he is a bit surprised to wake up to find that she is actually a shapeshifter working undercover. Even in her animal-form, Tas Rivers found her partner attractive, an attraction that was growing more difficult for her. Having no choice but to reveal her true form after her partner suffers an accident, she only hopes that Cooper doesn’t hate her for her deception.

This was a great read laced with humor and a nice romance between a man and man’s best friend. I really enjoyed the chemistry and relationship that Cooper and Tas share. They bonded when she was an animal so while learning the truth is a lot for him to adjust to, they already share a relationship which could serve as the foundation for something more. There were several moments throughout the story where I found myself smiling as Cooper realizes just how much this lovely woman knows about him as he didn’t hide much from what he thought was a dog.

If you are a fan of fun romances and you are looking for a quick and enjoyable read, I’d recommend this one!
