There was only one other POV shift and that was from Diamond’s perspective. It was short but oh, so powerful. It was well placed and had me sighing at the romantic implications.

Diamond Wolf is a beautiful love story filled with emotional highs and lows that will not leave a reader untouched.

One thing I didn’t like was the fact that the story ends with a “To Be Continued” providing the reader with no closure and leaving me very disappointed. But even though I didn’t care for the “To Be Continued,” I am eager to find out what happens next. There were also a few secondary characters that intrigued me and I would love to know more about perhaps in future books.

In addition to the romance, there is an interesting twist involving Jana’s bosses at the resort and some illicit activities and I loved how the trio handled this.

My only complaint is that I would have loved to have known more about Tristan and Travis’s world. Despite this, Passions is a great read that I would recommend to those looking for something a bit different, but keep those fans handy because you’ll need them with this hot read.

I enjoyed the characters of Noreen and Gunnar. I thought that Gunnar was very patient to wait ten years for his bride to come to him. I loved his idea of being pure for his Profetia. I smiled as he tried to explain it to Noreen.

The use of Odin and Thor and other Norse gods throughout the story was also very cleaver. It was cute how the Clash of Thor’s hammer sounded when the Profetia and Chosen One find each other and when they conceive. I laughed when the crew called to make sure everything was fine in the transport as they heard the clash and saw the transport rocking.

There are a lot of very good minor characters all of whom are fleshed out and play important parts in the story. I loved Noreen’s twin sister Coreen, they always talk to each other in their minds. Then there was Hollis, Noreen’s ex-beau. It was funny that he claims to be married to Noreen through some weird ritual on the day before she left him. When he followed her to Nordia, I felt that there was something more to him than meets the eye.

Lest I forget, there is the small matter of a comet coming at the planet Nordia. I thought the way they figured out how to save the planet was ingenious. Even Doctor Zarkov could not come up with a better plan.

The love between Noreen and Gunnar was very touching. He had been planning with her father for ten years and been supplied with books on how to tame Nory. Some of Gunnar’s methods had me wishing I was Nory. I melted when he stepped on the broken glass from the shower door to carry Noreen to safety. And the lovemaking in the Arbor and resort. Wow.

For a story that takes place on an icy planet, there was a lot of heat. I highly enjoyed the hot story of Frozen.
