The black sheep of an aristocratic Creole family meets the Bar C’s princess.

Disgraced doctor Les Fourchet has come to the wide-open spaces of northwest Texas looking to stay away from the BDSM lifestyle that may have cost him his heritage. That idea goes out the window when he discovers kink club the Neon Lasso—and hot Texan Deidre Caden.

Deidre is the submissive of Les’ wildest fantasies. Their play at the club is scorching, but before he can offer her the life she deserves, Les must confess his humiliating past—and convince her powerful family of his worth.

When you hit rock bottom it can be hard to get back up again, but if you make the effort it’s more than worth it!

From the outside looking in Les has it all. He’s a doctor, great looking, he comes from a very wealthy family and is a genuinely nice guy to top it all off. But he has a troubled past, one that haunts the depths of his mind and although he thought one woman could make it right for him, it seems he picked the wrong person to heal him and instead she made it worse, much worse.

Deidre is the daughter of a Texan tycoon. She might be young and have over protective family but she knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to ask for it, as Les soon finds out!

Wild One is certainly a wild ride of a story. I took to the characters straight away, within a few pages secrets about Les’s past had me gasping and cringing for him. Deidre is my sort of girl, confident but not afraid to say when she’s unsure of something or that a kink she thought she would like actually isn’t for her at all.

The hero and heroine are a great match from the beginning and seeing them test each other out, try one another on was good fun. I liked being able to see what they were both thinking and that as the reader I knew it was all going to hit the spot as soon as they were honest about their needs. There were a few times I felt the author repeated information that had already been offered, but this didn’t detract from the story.

The sex was scorching, the medical play interesting, and I liked the fact that it was Les overcoming a difficult past with the help of Deidre.

Wild One is a solid addition to the Caden Kink series and fans of Ms Jacob’s won’t be disappointed.
