Amy Russell has sworn off men, but then she runs into Tanner Lewis. His muscular chest, soft brown eyes and drop dead gorgeous, sexy dimpled smile make her rethink her decision. Can she learn to trust again, especially a cowboy, after her ex broke her heart? Will she let Tanner penetrate the shell around her heart?

Tanner’s been burned. Yeah, he was in love once, until he caught his fiancee in bed with his best friend. Now all he wants is to get his singing career on the right path. Just when he thinks things are going perfectly, he runs smack into Amy Russell, horse tamer extraordinaire and registered nurse. As he watches her take a difficult horse and turn it into a docile pussycat with nothing more than soft words and a kind touch, he’s fascinated, but Amy doesn’t want a relationship. Can he convince her there’s nothing better than a cowboy’s love?

To take a chance on love or not????

Away with a friend for the weekend, Amy looks forward to just relaxing and having a good time. After being in a number of relationships that went nowhere, including an abusive one, Amy certainly wasn’t on the lookout for a man or even a relationship. Normally, an cialis professional generic unica-web.com erection expands the elastic tissue of some part of the penis. But then isn’t that always the way – whatever you aren’t looking for comes up and hits you right in the face or in Amy’s case it fell in the dirt right in front of her!

Amy has a number of talents that are showcased as the story progresses and she does have a bit of a chip on her shoulder about some of them – being a girl she probably does have something to prove and she is sick and tired of it – team roping isn’t know as a female sport and she is good at what she does.

Tanner Lewis comes across as an all around good guy, but he did have some hard edges that came to the fore in certain situations and that showed he did have a lot of backbone and character and that despite everything he did love Amy. He loved her so much that he nearly drove her away to try and keep her safe.

Amy and Tanner fell into a relationship straight away despite Amy’s misgivings and it was in the development of this relationship that the characters and their flaws and strengths came to the fore. Amy was targeted by the abusive ex-boyfriend but Tanner was there to support her.

Tanner on the other hand was a real home town farm boy who loved to sing and when he finally made it – you knew it was going to happen, but it just seemed to take longer than I expected and then it came on the heels of Amy’s rather huge back story with the ex boyfriend.

Amy’s jealousy of Tanner’s groupies and other females in the story I found a bit hard to deal with and a little out of place because she seemed such an even keeled person – calm and down to earth, but when I thought about it, it was perhaps understandable, given her previous relationships and experience.

The inclusion of family members in this detailed story also helped to flesh out the characters – even the secondary characters and this leads to Amy’s friend Chris – I certainly hope there is a sequel there because I would love to see how things develop with Chris and the lawyer!

I liked the fact that Ms Sullivan drew the characters in such a way that they were multi dimensional and had numerous layers to them – it certainly helped make the story more interesting and the plot lines kept it interesting until the very end. There were a few things that I would have liked to see tied up or finalized in the story, which I won’t mention as it will spoil the story, but these were just minor things that really do not affect the central story of Amy and Tanner. The sex was hot, there was plenty of it and Tanner was definitely no slouch in the bedroom!

I read this book so quickly that it surprised me – I didn’t want to stop until I was able to find out how things ended and boy Ms Sullivan did keep it interesting right until the very end. A great read!

Three cowboys. Three relationships. Three ideas of what truly gets them off. Can each learn to give what his cowboy wants?

Sam “Sly” Yates left Sunset, Tennessee, three years ago running from things he wanted and looking for things he couldn’t find. When he turns around to find himself face-to-face with what he wanted most, he realizes he’s run full circle, right back to Trace Tanner’s arms.

When Sly walked away, Trace was certain he’d lost the only man he’d ever love. Then he met Cord DeMoss and learned a man can love twice, even while the heart still belongs to another. Now Sly is back, and to Trace’s surprise, Cord sends him straight to Sam’s arms.

Cord stopped gambling. But when he spots Sam at the bar and realizes he’s the man who holds the other half of Trace’s heart, he places one last bet. If he loses it could cost him his heart. But if he wins he will be able to give both his cowboys what they want.

Sam Yates (also known as Sly) comes back home to Tennessee for his sister’s wedding and runs into an old lover who he had never really forgotten. He had however left him behind while he ‘escaped’ to New York City. His years away hadn’t dimmed the feelings he had for Trace Neil Tanner – his own personal TNT. Sam had just up and left Trace. Trace had seemingly moved on into another relationship with Cord De Moss but something wasn’t quite right. It seemed that there was something missing in the relationship and Cord had hidden vital facts about a previous relationship from Trace.

When Trace sees Sam in the bar, Cord realizes that it is time for the old demons to be exorcised and does the magnanimous thing and pushes Trace back into the arms of Sam. If Cord is right then the reward for all of them will outweigh the risk he is taking. Trace still harbours feelings for Sam, but he also loves Cord and now he fears that everything he has will be blown up and that their pasts will destroy them all. The take-home message, both experts said, is that when a patient lands in the emergency department (ED) after a fall and your orthopedist assesses the patient with no injuries identified, there are numerous ICD-10 concepts generic sildenafil from india that a coder or provider needs to know to ensure the best possible results. Secrets kept are going to come out and either destroy all of them. Or would they be the glue that would bind them together and enable them to work past their previous difficulties and move on with each other?

Tonya Ramagos is a favorite author of mine. When I see her name on a book it is a must buy for me. I wasn’t disappointed with What His Cowboys Want, even though it was my first foray into M/M/M and Menage and I am really not into the slave and master language. Though the story was shorter than what I have come to expect from Ms. Ramagos, she did still manage to paint her characters in such a way that they felt real and fleshed out and there was a depth to them and the situation they found themselves in.

They were extremely hot, rugged, masculine and really good looking cowboys who also had their sensitive and loving sides and it was great to see them sacrifice things for their love for each other even knowing that the consequences could be disastrous.

I also felt the pain that each of the characters felt – Sam in having to leave Trace because of what he sees as his dark side – his need to be dominated and reluctance to force Trace to be something and someone he wasn’t. I did feel for Sam, but I also thought that he had really taken the easy way out and not dealt with the issues at hand and explained all of this to Trace and Ms Ramagos depicted his conflict with detail that added further depth to the story.

Cord was the one who had to deal with his own ghost of a former lover, who he still had feelings for, despite his love for Trace. Finally there was Trace, the one who had the most to lose if everything went pear-shaped. He would lose not one but two lovers and it was his torment that I most identified with as he tried to work out what his role was and how he fit in. Trace was neither dominant but also not really submissive and somewhere in between Cord and Sam.

I really felt connected to this story, and wanted everyone to find their happy endings. I definitely wasn’t disappointed with this offering by Ms.Ramagos. She’ll stay on my auto-buy list for a long time. If you like to read about gorgeous hunks and steamy sex, then this is the book for you.

Six months ago, Hurricane Emilio left a path of destruction through Silver Springs and Billings. Like many of the city residents, Rayne Jacobs’ sole focus has centered on rebuilding her life and helping those around her. How can a freelance photographer come to the rescue of the people in the city she loves? The question is heavy on her mind when she finds herself staring into an intoxicating pair of whisky brown eyes. The answer comes when she’s asked to take pictures for a Men of the Silver Springs Fire Department B shift charity calendar.

Detective Ford Harris has a sharp eye for detail and keenly developed senses. Right now his eye is on Rayne. When he discovers the deadly surprise caught on film, he fears he’ll need all his senses to bring the threat down before it gets to her.

It’s been years since a woman caught EMT Cory Nox’s heart, but Rayne Jacobs manages to do it on sight. The discovery that she’s also the woman his roommate has fallen for spells pleasure with a capital P. But will it be his EMT skills that are needed most when danger comes down on their heads?

When moving after a hurricane, the last thing Rayne Jacobs wanted or needed was a speeding ticket, but that was what she got and that was her first introduction to Detective Ford Harris. She was bowled over by the detective and he by her as well, while all the while remaining an utter professional; something I had to admire about him.

Rayne lost her house in Hurricane Emilio and after living with a friend for a while, decided to go and live with her brother Max who just happens to be a lieutenant in the Silver Springs fire department. Rayne is going to take photos of the SSFD B Shift for a calendar, the proceeds of which would go to help those in need. Rayne finds herself attracted to both Ford and Cory and at first is not sure how to go about having a relationship with either of them, but the fact that they are roommates quickly solves part of the problem for her and she thinks that by having a relationship with both of them, then she won’t fall hard for either of them.

How wrong she turns out to be! The relationship and the work on the calendar aren’t the only things going on in Silver Springs – there are other things that end up putting Rayne into danger like drug lords and insurance fraud but at least there are two guys who will save her if the need arises and it does!

I love the Heroes of Silver Springs. This book is part of a series, but it can be read as a stand-alone. Characters from the previous books do crop up, but you do not need to know their back stories to read and enjoy this book. Reading them really makes me wish there was a place like Silver Springs, or that whatever is in the water there could be found elsewhere. All of the male characters Ms. Ramagos writes about are definitely alpha males, but they also have their soft sides and their particular vulnerabilities, as both Cory and Ford did and this is what just makes them real and convincing.

One little irritant was the fact that whenever ménage a trois came up in the story it was misspelled as ménage a trios. Apart from this and a few other slight proofreading errors, Picture This was a great continuation of the Heroes of Silver Springs series and I for one can’t wait for the next installment! So, if you like alpha males with heart and gorgeous bodies to boot and a bit of action both in and out of bed thrown in, then this book – this series is the one for you!

Love and danger collide when the mysterious pirate Raven arrives in Martinique five years out of Blaze Montgomery’s past. It was the last thing she had expected, especially since the brutal murder of her first husband.

Haylie Monroe is a member of Hell’s Belles, a sisterhood of sassy Southern women who have a penchant for devilish men. Blake Sheridan is the hottest devil south of Birmingham. Haylie and Blake’s fiery past puts him at the top of her “not even if hell freezes over” list.

But Blake wants her, and what Blake wants, he gets.

Fighting off a devil’s advances would be enough to keep any girl on her toes, but Haylie has a bigger problem. Her father, recently released from prison, is now free to seek revenge on her for putting him behind bars.

Around every corner evil lurks, and it’s not Blake, with his irresistible hedonistic allure. The real danger is a man capable of murder…and worse.

Wow, this Devil can advocate for me any time!

Haylie Monroe and Blake Sheridan were engaged, though extremely briefly, in college. Haylie carries some completely understandable emotional baggage from growing up with her abusive father. Blake didn’t know anything about Haylie’s past and a joke—in poor taste—with his frat brother outraged and terrified Haylie. She walked out of Blake’s apartment and his life and never looked back.

Ten years later, Haylie – a tirelessly generous social worker who has started her own foundation to help kids no one else can or will help – runs into Blake, a successful defense lawyer. The sparks fly, but Haylie is not sure she can trust any man, well, except for the post-foster care teenager, Grady, who crashes at her place. And Blake is not the only man to re-enter her life. Haylie’s father is released from prison at around the same time, and he wants to make sure Haylie returns to the family fold. Ms. Darlin has written a completely engaging love story, with two very likeable main characters, while deftly tackling some of the toughest of societal woes and maintaining a heart-stopping sense of suspense. Haylie is incredibly strong. She has come through her terrifying past and channels her own pain into helping others survive and excel. She has started a foundation to help 18 to 21 year olds who have come out of the foster care system transition to school, work, housing and the like.

Blake is almost too-good-to be-true. He sticks with Haylie even when she repeatedly shuts him out and pushes him away, patiently trying to break through her highly-developed defenses. And when he gets her between the sheets, the steam fairly rises off the page! Blake is not only steadfast and loyal and patient, he is one hell of a lover!

In fact, my only real criticism of the book relates to the emphasis on Blake as a devil, including the cover, which suggested this was going to be a paranormal read. There are some minor pacing issues, and the editing is not as tight as it should have been, but none of this interfered with my sheer enjoyment of reading the book.

Haylie’s best friends, the other three Belles, are delightful secondary characters, and Ms. Darlin has plans to write their stories. I hope she writes them quickly because I can’t wait to read them. I highly recommend Devil’s Advocate, a suspense-filled tale full of passion. Well done Wendi Darlin!

Katherine Cross escaped a confining life and now lives as Captain Kit Savage. She embraces adventure on The Black Rose and her relationship with fellow pirate, James Kingsley. James has a lusty body and a bad temper, but Kit revels in the sexual pleasure he provides.

Quinn Blackwell has two solutions for a financial crisis: find his lost fiancée or find Silas Watkins’ plans for an amazing invention. Quinn finds both on The Black Rose, and his arrival creates a powder keg of sexual tension. As Kit, James, and Quinn vie for dominance in the captain’s quarters, the mystery of an elusive journal leads to an explosive showdown.

A pirate’s life for three isn’t easy, but there’s never a dull moment.

This is a story of a woman’s decision to escape a parent that is ambitious, callous and cold, and the new woman she became.

Sounds profound doesn’t it? Thing is, Katherine’s choices are not only a bit unorthodox but darned adventurous for the time period. She chooses the pirate life and what a life it is. Captain Kit does things that are the antithesis of her old life. As a queen of the sea, she makes her rules, choices and laws on her own ship. She chooses her companions, is ruthless and feared. She does however, remain a woman with breeding and intelligence, is compassionate and mischievous. I liked her. She even has odd taste in clothing for a pirate – a mixture of violence and lace. She also has a lusty appetite that no one man can appease. Good thing too.

James is brawny bull of a man with a reputation feared by all. All except Kit because she knows the secret to his weakness – he’s as sexual as she. And, wow, do readers get an eye full! Even though he melts in her arms, Mr. Kingsley is a force to be reckoned with. He never loses his arrogance, his command of respect, or his skill with weapons. Then I got to meet Quinn. He’s a man with a past – a survivor against odds that would have killed a lesser man. He once again faces destruction of a different sort and seeks to recoup whatever he can, whichever way he can. He’s another strong personality who’s very comfortable in his own skin. He, too, is intelligent, wily, and very knowledgeable about what pleases a woman to make her scream. He plots his course with one objective but once he meets Kit, everything changes. I enjoyed his honesty, his willingness to stand beside her and fight by her side. He’s a capable man who likes to be in control during sex and he wants to exercise those dominate techniques with one person. Shiver me timbers – that was hot.

Throw these three strong and opinionated people together with a huge itch to scratch and readers get a treat of volcanic and steamy proportions. Even though Kit is in charge, both men remain men I could respect because the author did not dumb them down to enhance Kit’s character. It was a clever balance and well done.

Add in the nefarious parent and the writing gets crisp, exciting and devious. The secondary characters of the crew really liven up the ship in a nice touch of world building. Each plays some role that is integral to a reader understanding the main character, their captain. Silas and Trueblood, Hal and Fowler, these guys help underscore why not only they love her as captain even though she is female, and why I, as a reader, liked her too, but why they follow her and trust her.

A Pirate’s Life for Three is a wonderful and exciting tale of unconventional life and love on the high seas and a woman who took charge of her own life. She made a difference to those around her. Her happily ever after is as unusual as it is exciting because James and Quinn are delicious and she knows it. By the time I finished reading this story, I knew it too and felt Kit Savage was one very lucky lady pirate.

Decimus buys beautiful, red-headed Corinna from Silvinus Cato, a nominal Christian and her cold Roman master. Corinna, also a Christian, is terrified to be sold to a hired killer but finds Decimus to be an honorable, caring man–and overwhelmingly sexy.

Their lovemaking introduces her to passion she has never known before, and love-spanking that she finds deeply erotic. Happy for the first time in her life, she is horrified when her former master, Silvinus Cato, comes to Decimus’ house with devastating information. Decimus, whom she is beginning to care for deeply, has killed Joseph, the holy man who converted her to Christianity. Silvinus Cato says she must be like Judith in the Bible and kill Decimus in his sleep. Corinna is appalled and suspicious. Why does Silvinus Cato want Decimus dead? And what should she do?

What happens when you’re ripped from the life you know and thrown into a world you don’t understand? And what if you fall for the one person you should fear? You’d better read Silk and Steel to find out more.

Ms. Townsend writes an interesting historical. Many try to write about Ancient Rome and end up with fantasy stories. This isn’t one of them. The attention to detail keeps the reader locked in the story from page one. In the US the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) heritageihc.com cialis generika police the industry although the very nature of the internet do not have to worry about spam. Decimus is a great hero. He’s a conquering gladiator. He kills for a living, but underneath his tough exterior lies the heart of a softie. Although he owns Corinna, he wants the best for her. His thoughts are for her, above his own—and it’s very sexy.

Corinna, though she’s been around the block and acts sheltered at the same time, is a unique heroine. She wants to please him, but she’s scared of him. I like that the trust is built through the story.

And sex scenes? This story is packed with them, but not just run-of-the-the mill scenes. These scenes scorch. I’m not much for spanking, but I felt her passion for him and his desire to please her.

My only issue? I want to see more! This has the potential to be a longer story and could be more powerful. It’s great as-is, but I want to know more.

If you want a steamy short story for a cool winter night, then you need to grab a copy of Silk and Steel. I give this novella 4 cherries.

Mackenzie’s ménage fantasy comes to life when she’s snowbound with Fantasy Lodge partners, Aaron and Trent. One golden, one surly, the alpha males vie for her attention.

For Mac, the strange sensations, the sexual need, and the awkwardness all make sense when she discovers she’s a shape-shifter. Aaron and Trent supported each other through their first metamorphosis, and agree to guide Mac safely through hers.

But when they turn, Were males don’t share. Mac must choose between them, or they’ll fight to the death. Accepting Mac is meant for both of them, they have one other option. Aaron can submit sexually to Trent, become his submissive. Mac can help them through the sexual boundaries, but what will it do to the men’s friendship? Or their ménage relationship?

Here’s a story about a family member’s matchmaking that not only works but steams up the pages beyond the heroine’s wildest fantasies. Add in a few paranormal twists, a couple of shocking secrets and you’ve got yourself an engrossing read.

Mac is the heroine. She has a new itch to scratch but doesn’t know quite how to appease it. She seems a feisty lady and is definitely not a shrinking violet. When she makes up her mind about something she goes for it. When she makes up her mind about a man, she goes for it with gusto – double the fun when it’s two sexy guys. Until she is faced with a dilemma of choices, strange yearnings and really bizarre dreams, she thinks herself a pretty grounded woman. I enjoy her easy acceptance of the attention of Aaron and Trent. No games. No silly posturing. Just genuine interest and dialogue and I like Mac. You will have to decide a viagra sans prescription chair depending on your needs. It is its high effectiveness that makes it massively demanded all over the globe. generic viagra order I also enjoy the unique paranormal slant to her character. It was unusual and very erotic.

The two guys are pretty competitive and I got hot flashes from their individual and combined pursuit of Mac. The descriptive visual of their physiques, senses of humor and intent were very sensual and made for some fast flipping of pages. I enjoyed the one-upmanship, got a kick out of the things they did behind each other’s backs and once they combined efforts, the heat just poured on and Mac didn’t stand a chance. They also have a sense of the romantic which made them better heroes, although plans don’t always go as they’d wished. That whole winter adventure scene was both funny and steamy and I think it’s one of my favorites in the story. But like all winter escapes, you have to be careful — Aaron and Trent end up with more than they bargained for in their pursuit of Mac.

The conflict is more personal and internal. There are questions of trust, challenges to friendship, loyalty and hope for a future unlike any they ever envisioned. Mac discovers her hidden talents and Aaron and Trent reveal more than that, they reveal something special about Mac’s family she never knew. This story has a lot of levels going. The sex is emotional and healing at times, and at other times is just plain fun. The story even has my favorite element, a passionate bite or two.

Ms. March has combined the fun of pursuit, the excitement of the paranormal and the thrill of a satisfying romance. The best part is the three of them realize they really can have their happily ever after. I recommend this story to all readers who like their heroines feisty, their men alpha with a bit of fur on the side.
