Corinne Davies has done wonderful research into the mythology behind her characters, and provides such deeply detailed descriptions, I could see these characters clearly. Hazel is the librarian with an overactive libido, and Bach is just the man (God) to bring out the best in her. In my opinion they were the perfect combination.

The story is rich with myth and history, and yet is completely modern at the same time. I love the way that Hazel is slow to trust Bach, and when he introduces her to his daughter and her husbands, she recognizes them from an incident in her past. When she finally decides that Bach is really who he says he is, can she trust him enough to go through with the ritual at the last Bacchanalia that Bach plans on throwing? It was certainly interesting to find out.

There are a couple of twists that I didn’t see coming, but they fit the story well, and the mystery of who is behind the unrest of the gods is hinted at, although never completely revealed. So I look forward to more books in this fantastic series, and hope they will come soon. I recommend this to all who love the blending of myth and modern romance, with lots of hot, anything and everything goes action.

Wade and Wyatt Chance were characters that I was able to picture clearly, but the ease with which Maggie and the brothers entered their relationship and understood each other was rather quick. Their secret, while I understood the reason, seemed more a means to introduce Maggie to the two brothers, but even the way this was done, was so fast and successful that I had trouble believing it – the gay husband giving Maggie all of her sexual understanding was also a bit contrived and her sexual encounters though hot and steamy were also relaxed and contained none of the angst or anxiety that I felt a woman of the day – the character of Maggie would have experienced, particularly given her very limited sexual experience with one man, let alone two. While these inconsistencies were a bit unbelievable, I did still enjoy the story and imagery.

This is part of a series, but it can easily be read as a stand-alone book. Ms. Saint James has written a good story of a young and inexperienced woman finding love and excitement in the old west and, regardless of my few reservations, it certainly piqued my interest in the rest of the series!

Two thumbs up to Ms. Carter for providing us with a book that’s sexy, humorous, full of hot scorching sex, and literally brings joy to your heart as Penny struggles to find her Happily Ever After with the Boss. Some of the BDSM aspects and the Master and Slave relationships of this book may offend some readers. I for one found the trust and love between Sully and Mac very profound. Not everyone can find a love like theirs and when the element of Clarisse is added to their relationship it is all that more powerful. With the help of the two men it was nice to see Clarisse grow into a strong woman in her own right, especially after the abuse she endured from Bryan. The bond that forms between the three of them is a complex and marvelous thing. Add in a kleptomaniac dog who claims his own butt plug and you have a winner.

With aspects of love, action and humor thrown in, this story is a must read. I know I will be looking for more from Tymber Dalton in the future as well as other stories that I may have missed.

The attitude he gave concerning his sister’s plight left me feeling a little angry.

The plot was direct and had all the right concepts to keep it moving and you reading. The added bonus near the end made my day. This story has an open ending leaving room for a sequel, which I’d like to see. Aside from the above mentioned issues, this was an interesting story that kept my interest until the last page.

This is the second book in Ms Ramagos’ series Sunset Cowboys. Though part of a series, this book can be read as a stand-alone book. I liked the story of Jaelynn and Logan – it was a cute twist to have the female being the one roaming the country in the rodeo and the guy on the family farm, but at only 80 pages it left me wanting a whole lot more.

The characters jumped straight into a relationship, which is fine, but from then on, it all went too quickly and too well for them. The only bit of angst came at the end of the story and then that was so quickly resolved that the whole thing felt a little bit too pat for my taste!

It was a sound story but as I said I wanted a whole lot more in the way of story development and also character development – there were so many aspects of the characters and their lives that should have been explored that weren’t, that would have added that extra, needed depth to the story.

Despite this, Ms. Ramagos is a favourite author of mine and anything with her name on it is a must read for me. If you are looking for a short but spicy tale of a cowboy romance, then this one is for you.

I enjoyed the growth of Maddie from a scared and timid girl into being on the way to a woman who will be able to hold her own out in the world. Remus is a great Alpha male, strong enough to understand when he is wrong and man enough to say so. The love that develops between these two is a wonderful read. Who could not fall for Remus or his brothers? The protection they offer Maddie is from the heart, whether it be from a jealous woman or the evil doctor and Maddie’s own brother who has fallen prey to the doctor’s lies.

Once again Missy Martine does not disappoint, bringing the reader into a world full of magic and love with many characters you learn to love and hate. I certainly enjoyed reading this story and am eagerly waiting for more stories about the Wind River pack. I would love to see Latan and Ethan find their mates as well as seeing Michael hopefully change for the best. This book is not to be missed and I highly recommend it.

Vassili is the main character who has to deal with a less than ideal home life after his perfect and loving one falls apart. He has a secret that is his salvation and must guard it against all odds. His character is quite innocent and trusting for the most part, almost to the point of being naïve. However, that seemingly weak persona for a guy is actually his strength.

This story fleshes out the secondary characters only to the point of illustrating a point or element about Vassili. On the other hand, this is a sensual fantasy fairy tale where magical and unusual happenings are to be expected. And, the man action is incredibly well written, so much so that it had me fanning myself from the heat of it.

The Three Horsemen of the Black Forest is sure to appeal to those readers who enjoy unique twists on well known fairy tales flavored with a bit of sauce, spice and hunky male loving. And for those who always felt that Cinderella’s step-siblings should have been made to toe the line at some point, readers will be in for a treat in this book. It’s pretty cool.

If you’re looking for a book that is full of drama that will make you laugh and cry, uninhibited, hot scorching sex, intense passion between the two main characters, and a good cowboy brawl, then Cowboys Don’t Dance is the perfect read for you. However, be forewarned, this book is not for the faint of heart. The sex scenes are hot enough to set your e-reader on fire and contain some sexual play with toys, a stripper pole, and a romp in the hay. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends.
