Ms. Dwyer’s stories are multilayered but the multiple plots all work towards an exciting and well developed arc in the book. The characters draw you into the story and keep you reading. The heroes are Alpha to max but still flawed so the reader comfortably connects with their individual personalities and is able to cheer them on as they set out to win their mate. Speaking of the mates, these women quite honestly NEED the stability of the pack as much as they NEED the unique men that make up their mates. Like Lexi, Antoinette’s past is not quite what she believed it to be and as the truth comes out so does the emotional rollercoaster. She wants them, she craves them but they scare the daylights out of her, that’s putting it mildly in particular for Antoinette. Patience is not the strong suit of these Alpha males but for the love of their mate they will learn!

Do you love a story that is just a little gritty, a whole lot of action, boat loads of testosterone and some seriously hot sheet action? I know I do and Were Love Found Her has all that and more. While there were a few editing goofs with mixing up the hero’s names (easy to do when there are four to contend with) I was able to mentally correct the mistakes and move on to enjoy the book. This novel reads fine as a stand alone but it will make more sense if you’ve read Were She Belongs. Pick up your copy ASAP, I think you’ll find it well worth the read!

Loving Two Vampires is a pretty quick read that kept me engaged all the way through. The story is well developed and the characters have lovely chemistry. If you like a little darkness and angst with your vampire story, you should consider picking up a copy of Loving Two Vampires. You won’t be disappointed.

While more complex than it’s predecessors, Pretty Baby is truly the perfect culmination of all the Wolf Creek books. I highly recommend reading Full Moon Mating (Joe and Nathan’s story) before delving into this tale. This is the longest of the Wolf Creek collection at 199 pages, but its story line wrap-up was spot on.

I am giving this book five cherries because it is not only the best in the series, but also is what I consider to be one of Ms. Glenn’s personal best. The characterization is consistent, the plot is filled with unexpected twists and turns, and the love between these men is truly palpable. If you’re looking for some serious chemistry between two extremely sensual, strong, and loving men…look no further. I’ll end with my favorite quote from Pretty Baby: “…and I’m not about to do anything that puts your life in jeopardy. You mean too much to me.”

So, will Nick and Steve be able to convince Julianna that the three of them together make the perfect family? Will the evil that is hunting Steve destroy their chance for happiness? Okay, so you can probably guess the answers but believe me when I say you want to read this book. Leah Brooke is one of my favorite story tellers and with good reason. Her stories never fail to entertain and keep me waiting anxiously for her next book. Pick up a copy of Crescendo and be prepared for some serious heat, heart stopping adventure and breathtaking romance.

Austin is portrayed as the loner who plans to get out of Wilde at the first opportunity. Also, he’s into the BDSM lifestyle so that should prove interesting.

There’s just nothing quite as sexy to me as a hot vampire with an accent. I was completely charmed by the Irish twins introduced in A Dillon Sandwich. While this is the first in The O’Hagan Way series, it is an extension of the beloved Marius Brothers books. If you’ve not had the occasion to check these books out, you really have missed out on a fantastic series and will want to rectify that as soon as you can.

The beginning demonstrates in a humorous way that Dillon Dragos is completely out of his element in Ireland as the big, bad, American warrior receives the equivalent of a clown car at the airport’s car rental stand. This scene was written so well that I could actually picture the expression on Dillon’s face when he first sees the vehicle.

The Marius and O’Hagan families are so different, but share the same loyalty and devotion. I enjoyed meeting the Irish counterparts to the loving Marius bunch. The dialogue between members of the family is real and relaxed. They deal with common familial issues such as sibling rivalry, being busted by the folks for swearing, laughing, crying, celebrating and mourning with each other as a unit. As this is a new branch of an ongoing series, Joyee Flynn ensures it can be read by itself by giving a recap of events and roles established in previous books.

A Dillon Sandwich is about so much more than the special bond shared between Dillon and his mates. I adored this tale about family, true family, and the lengths these people will go to in order to preserve the values they hold dear. A healing love through demonstration is illustrated with real emotion and attention to detail. I have recommended this book to others, and have re-read it several times. I’m confident you’ll be eager to read the next book in this series, as you come to care for the family as much as I do. Congratulations to Ms. Glenn for this wonderful additon to the Katzman series. If you have been waiting for Bogden and Anjali’s story, you’re in for a pleasant surprise. When I read the previous book, Dream Mate, I thought it could not get any better. Pride Mate has got everything I admired in the first two and more…in spades.

One of my favorite things about this series is that the mating bond is a sacred thing to the Katzman race. I love how each couple, once accepting that fate has brought them the perfect match for their soul, has become such a rock solid team. Commander Chellak Rai and Demyan’s happily ever after is continued from the first book in the series, affirming that their love is forever. This lasting bond makes the love scenes even more intense as their connection is strengthened. Like any other planet, there are so many different types of environments and cultures. In Pride Mate Ms. Glenn explores the desert, its people, and customs. I was extremely impressed by the obvious research that went into creating a believable and captivating story. She even went so far as to create a new language for this particular tribe of Katzman.

There are violent elements in this tale which are to be expected as it is about a warrior and his mate. This series also deals with issues that cannot possibly be approached outside of the fantasy realm, but will make you wish it could happen all the more. While this book can be read by itself, the experience would be more complete if the previous books were read first.

I have enjoyed reading this book many times and have eagerly recommended it to my friends. Bogden and Anjali have become one of my favorite m/m couples and I look forward to hearing more about them in the author’s next book. My favorite quote from this book is not in English, which testifies to Ms. Glenn’s versatility in writing: “Entya haby, entya hyety, entya a’lhabby…you are my love, you are my life, you are my heart.”

Rescuing Cecil from his abusive boyfriend to finding out who in his pack is trying to take Cecil’s life, Maverick has his work cut out for him, but the largest challenge is getting Cecil to come out of his shell and be the man he once was.

In this story we meet Maverick Brac, an alpha werewolf who, due to his sexual orientation has had to leave his home and start his own pack. I felt sad for Maverick, he’s a strong capable man, but he’s extremely lonely. When he discovers his mate, I couldn’t have been more excited to see where the story would lead.

For the past two years, Cecil Walker has lived his life in constant fear of his ex-boyfriend. So when he finds out he is the mate to a very large alpha werewolf, to say he’s shocked is an understatement. Cecil is a good person with a big, caring heart and it’s in his nature to give Maverick a chance.

The pull of attraction between these two men is undeniable. However, I did found it depressing that Cecil couldn’t catch a break, a lot of bad things happened to this young man throughout the story; it would have broken a lesser person. Even with their age difference and completely different backgrounds, these two men love and respect each other and you can see how much they need one another.

What I didn’t like was all the character hopping going on. It was as if the author wanted to lay the background for future stories in this series. It didn’t deter me reading or liking the story, it just seemed to defer attention from the main characters this particular story was about.

Overall I really enjoyed “Maverick’s Mate”. Lynn Hagen created her version of a werewolf world and it was definitely creative. I like how, from the start ,you are made aware that this pack of werewolves are all gay. For me it lets me know there will be future stories related to the Brac Pack and I can’t wait to read them.
