Dana is sick of watching childhood friends Lee and Nicola pretend they don’t want each other. The self-proclaimed Queen of Casual Sex decides to do something about it, and along the way discovers that Lee has a dominant streak in the bedroom. That weekend, she and Lee tempt Nicola into a night of sexual submission to them both – but only until sunrise.

A completely different take on love triangles.

A short story about friends who have a thing for each other but don’t want to take that step toward each for fear of losing each other if their relationship doesn’t work. Lee and Nicola have been friends since college. When Dana met them she realized that these ‘best friends’ have a thing for each other. As they say, the rest is history.

Lee and Dana both tend to have a dominant side. They both want to top. They both want Nicola who is a sexy little bisexual sub. Lee and Nicola have a passion that was unavoidable and sizzling. But for me, what was surprising, was the chemistry that Dana and Lee had. Their personalities clash, yet, that is what makes their relationship work. They understand each other.

This isn’t a traditional love story but there is one. Though the ending was satisfying I felt the romance was kind of missing. I know this is an erotic short story but, it felt like the romance part of the story was incomplete or glossed over. Alternatively, the erotic points were spot on.

The plot is not overly complicated and exactly what I was looking for in a short story. It was the perfect quickie to unwind from a stressful day.

Is The Iron Eagle a psychotic serial killer?

Or a new breed of Justice?

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detective Jim O’Brian and FBI Profiler Special Agent Steve Hoffman are hunting for a brutal serial killer; however, this case defies the profiling rules both men have been trained to detect. “The Iron Eagle” appears to only hunt and capture serial killers. Time is of the essence as with each passing day “The Eagle” gets more brazen. The deeper O’Brian and Hoffman dig into profiling the killer, the more they realize that this is more than a race against time – it’s a race laden with the realization that the killer may be one of their own.

If a reader is looking for a book that requires reading with the lights on and who enjoys a story about a criminal mastermind, then pull up a chair and get comfortable because Rise of the Iron Eagle is a wild ride and is sure to leave a haunting legacy in your dreams.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I decided to read this novel. I wasn’t bored, I wasn’t left unaffected and I sure as heck am glad I’m reading about the stuff that went on instead of seeing it for real. I think Mr. Teel, Jr.’s writing about criminals is like what Stephen King does for horror – leaves a lasting impression and horrifies while weaving a tale that one can’t step away from.

I ended up classifying this book as an erotic based on the three way relationship between one of the characters and two women. Also, the fact that a few of the deviants in the story got off on voyeurism while they did what they did was another reason I labeled it thus. However, this is first and foremost a mystery, and a murder mystery at that. And, this is a novel about one man on a crusade against the vilest of the vile, the most heinous and inhumane of human beings, and reading about them kept me on the edge of my seat.

The one thing that the author wanted to make crystal clear, and was abundantly successful, is making a reader believe that the method of death meted out by the Iron Eagle was warranted. Sure, Steve, the FBI guy, wanted the investigations of the crimes done by the book but, there’s a gray area that he sort of teeters on. Then there’s Jim, who actually is more open about accepting that what the Iron Eagle is doing isn’t such a bad thing, even when he duplicates the horrors done to victims onto the perpetrators themselves. It was extremely difficult to read because the author was highly graphic in his details. There is rape and torture and other extremely violent behaviors but it’s recounted in a manner to get the reader on the Eagle’s side. And, for me, it worked. Yes, I cringed a lot, and took a lot of breaks, too because some descriptions were horrendous and uncomfortable to read but that’s the point. Those creeps were under the radar, killing with seeming impunity, and until the Iron Eagle put the clues together and acted, no one was going to stop them.

What I liked were the surprises. I thought that I was going to be left with the mystery of trying to figure out who the Iron Eagle was but that was actually shared with the reader part way through. And I asked myself, why? Turns out there’s a cold case that is the whole impetus for the book. That’s the real mystery and eventually, although I wasn’t too keen on the cold and precise manner in which retribution was delivered, I ended up being very sympathetic to the Iron Eagle. I didn’t expect that.

Dialogue was dark, dangerous, powerful, gritty and incredibly effective. The characterization of both Steven and Jim were not written as touchy feely, getting to know you and your emotions type of detail, but were written as hard bitten, professional and driven. They are men who are extremely fallible with vices, profanity laden speech and yet take pride in the jobs they do. They really are the good guys, with a dark edge. But no one is as dark as the Iron Eagle. I eventually find out why and it broke my heart.

The ending was profound. As much as the author went into great gory detail with the initial few serial killers, when the final moment of reckoning came it was just a tiny teensy bit more anti-climactic than I expected. And you want to know why? Because I wanted the bad guy to suffer more, to pay harder for what was done to all the victims, and in my estimation, he wasn’t. In that I guess even I have a little bit of vigilantism in me. Imagine that.

Rise of the Iron Eagle is dark, gritty, compelling and powerful. It’s not a comfortable read but it’s potent, gripping, exciting and any other word you can think of to describe a book that makes a person read through their fingers because they alternately want to hide but can’t help but continue to read all at the same time. Believe it or not, there might even be a romance relationship coming out of this horror. Talk about unconventional. It’s not the focus but it sure made me happy that even with all this death and atrocity, love could still be found. Yet, even as one case comes to a satisfying closure, the author dangled a surprising carrot. I might need to fortify myself with cotton candy and fluff, but I definitely would read the next book in the series. Mr. Teel, Jr. has a commanding story-telling voice and Rise of the Iron Eagle is proof. Check it out and see, if you dare.

The passion between Isaac and Suzy is undeniable from the start but with the addition of a couple more characters it becomes sizzling hot. I can’t say more about these other characters without revealing the story and plot since this is a very short story.

The plot is relatively small. There were some questions that arose and are still with me mostly because there is very little background information to help a reader out.

I would have loved to know about the paranormal aspect of the story since it would have given me an idea about some of the other characters.

I would recommend All Dressed Up to readers who like deep hardcore erotic stories and who don’t mind the absence of relative information because the reader is looking for a wild, wild ride. This story delivers.

“Enjoying pain with your pleasure is something you either get, or you don’t. If you get it, then you don’t really need it explained, because you know how good it feels, and if you don’t get it then no amount of talking is going to convince you it makes sense.”

But sometimes you have to explain the unexplainable, especially if the love of your life needs to understand, or she’ll leave you. Jason Schuyler is one of Anita Blake’s best friends and favorite werewolves, with benefits. J.J. is his lady love, an old flame from childhood who dances at one of the top ballet companies in New York. She’s accomplished, beautiful, and she’s crazy about him, too. J.J. is enthusiastically bisexual, with an emphasis on the female side of things. She plans to keep sleeping with women, because Jason can’t meet that need, just like she can’t meet Jason’s need for rough sex and bondage. J.J. doesn’t understand why Jason isn’t content to go elsewhere for a need she can’t fulfil, so Jason asks Anita to help him explain.

Anita is having her own relationship growing pains with her only female lover ever, Jade. Jason suggests that J.J. might be able to help Anita with her girl problem, while she helps him with his kinky explanations. With some encouragement from a few other lovers in Anita’s life she reluctantly agrees, and J. J. makes plans to fly into town for an experience that none of them will ever forget.

If a reader is looking for an erotic short story to singe their eyebrows off, cause hot flashes and a few blushes, then Jason should do the trick.

I’ve been following the Anita Blake series for quite a few years. Yes, I’ve heard that a lot of early readers are uncomfortable with the turns Anita’s life has been taking when it comes to her relationships. Some felt they have become less story and more sex. I have not felt that strongly against it, probably because I do enjoy reading mild erotic romances. However, I don’t think Jason is quite as mild as I expected. Some erotic romance readers might think this is tame but since I don’t read F/F as a rule, it was an eye-opening experience for me. I don’t like F/F romance but here’s the twist. This was Anita. This was Anita facing her problems with Jade. This was Anita learning the differences between herself, Jade and Jason’s girlfriend, J.J. I found myself fascinated. I care about Anita and as such, this book had a more powerful impact for me. I actually enjoyed it because for all the sexy talk, descriptions and hot scenes with Nathan, Jason and the rest of the small crew, there was still a purpose, a goal that had to be reached and sex was the vehicle for making it happen.

Since the Anita Blake series is ongoing, I hesitate to call this a standalone read. Yet, this is focused on figuring out if Jason and J.J. could realistically make a go of their relationship. It focuses on a short span of time with a tight group of characters. It possibly could be read as a standalone if a reader is looking for a book that explores some serious multi-partner action and doesn’t demand a traditional HEA. Nothing about this series is traditional and this book is no exception. As for the conclusion, it’s as close to a happy for now as it can get because Ms. Hamilton is the queen of hooks and dangling teases. She resolves the big stuff but always leaves a reader yearning for more, in a good way. I’d say Jason fits that formula.

For avid fans of the series, this is a must add to the collection. If only because we see Jason pursuing the most ‘normal’ of all the romantic entanglements I’ve seen in this series so far, and he’s a very likable and endearing character. I’m glad that it looks like he might have found someone who sees him for the man he is and not his were-animal. It was a fun novella and will probably appeal to fans more than new readers. Then again, on its own, this is a very hot read. In any event, it’s a decent story and I’m glad I read it.

Mr. Nostromo is quite skilled at creating a richly detailed setting within the span of a few sentences. His ability to whip up such immersive backgrounds made this short story feel like it was part of a much longer piece. All of the most important plot threads were tied up satisfactorily, but there is definitely room here for a sequel if the author is interested in writing one! I don’t know if he has any plans to do so, but I hope he will consider it.

The perspective of this short story alternates between Jane and Miranda’s point of view. In the beginning I had some trouble figuring out who was speaking each time the perspective shifted because their names were used much less frequently than terms like she or her. Until I adjusted to the rhythm of the plot I found it a little confusing.

The chemistry between Miranda and Jane was sizzling from their very first meeting. How and when that took place was a little surprising to this reader, but it made perfect sense given everything else that is going on in the plot. My favorite scenes in this tale involve how these characters speak to one another. They seem to be on the same wavelength before either one of them even knew the other one existed.

As Dreams Are Made On is a delicious romp that begs to be reread. It’s a good choice for anyone in the mood for something lighthearted and futuristic.

Highland warrior, Dylan Macgregor learns revenge and retribution will not give him the peace he seeks. Every day since, he battles the darkness. Three-hundred years after being turned on a battlefield by an ancient born vampire, Dylan meets his life-mate, FBI profiler Special Agent Caitlin Donovan. When he discovers she’s been targeted for death by a demon overlord, can he find the assassins before they find her? The last of his light is at risk if he kills again, and then what will become of their love?

It’s not too often I get a chance to read about a Highland vampire berserker with a honor streak a mile wide, but that sums up the adventure told about Dylan Macgregor. It’s a very interesting tale.

Medication is popular and effective solution for generic cialis male dysfunction problem.Kamagra has gained popularity worldwide for the treatment of the inability in both the sex. It is sad that how money has taken power over emotions and cialis sample other sensitive issues of life. order levitra without prescription More over generics are cheaper. Now there are many good Sex Treatment Centers In cialis sildenafil Florida, the Florida Dual Diagnosis Helpline can help. Although the blurb makes the story out to be one specifically about the romance between Dylan and FBI special agent Caitlin Donovan, it is really all about Dylan. I met him in Defeat the Darkness and he certainly piqued my interest then. What follows in this story, Conquer the Highland Beast is as thorough a picture as I could have wished of just who and what Dylan is. He’s complicated.

The novel starts off with a crime and it sets the stage for the two protagonists to realize that they are something ‘more’ when they are together. It was a good attention grab and I liked the way they interacted, enough to find enjoyment in the anticipation of watching their romance unfold in the middle of what surely would be a fascinating romantic suspense story. That’s not quite how it works.

The author takes a reader on an historical side trip to learn just how Dylan came to be the man the heroine eventually meets. It’s in the guise of getting Max, a secondary character, up to speed because his survival depends on it. Ms. March presents a very intense, well detailed backstory of Dylan’s being orphaned, of his first love and his eventual meeting the two people who would change his life. This sub-story took over the book.

In Dylan’s backstory, I learned how and when he met the villainess of the first book. I know that this is the second book in the series and should be read after the first book but honestly I don’t think it’s a requirement. There wasn’t enough woven in from the first book to make a new reader confused in this one, like they were missing a punchline or something. I believe this novel really could stand on its own. Another reason is this – someone who read Defeat the Darkness might actually become perplexed by the realization that the villainess from the first book isn’t so crazy, bloodthirsty and vicious not to mention mean as in the first installment of the series. Was it because of who she was with? Did he keep that part of her tamed? Perhaps the author has a secret agenda for the future and this is another puzzle piece but all I know is that I was confused. It wasn’t enough to detract from the enjoyment of the story but I have to note that it felt like an inconsistency. A new reader wouldn’t have this issue, which is why I suggest this story could be considered a standalone read.

The most sex occurs with the trio, Dylan, Amyra and her companion, as they obtain something from Dylan for some mysterious purpose. It’s quite busy and intense. When the book refocuses on the present, the sexiness is more fun because it’s Caitlin and Dylan teasing each other with mental pictures of what they’d each like to do to the other. The sensual buildup was enjoyable and I delighted in their interaction immensely. When they came together, I was greatly satisfied.

The action of closing a portal seemed to me anti-climactic. Yes, there were action scenes and they were well written and interesting but they didn’t seem fleshed out enough because the setup was rushed. I felt that so much attention was paid to Dylan’s back story that the conflict and plot that brought Caitlin and the hero together in the first place suffered. It was not explored to my satisfaction and I felt let down. The relationship building between the hero and heroine had tremendous potential. I LIKED them. There were so many things about their dialogue and interactions that pleased me, yet they weren’t the strong focus of the novel. True, there is an HEA ending and it was wonderful to see them finally get together and that made me happy, but it could have been more profound and had more impact of I’d have gotten to spend more time with the pair.

Conquer the Highland Beast has a good story to tell. If a reader read the first book and was curious about whom Dylan was, this book answers the question completely. A man is a sum of his history – it’s up to the reader to decide if Dylan is the amazing hero I think he is. He has depth and he has purpose and it was fascinating getting to know all about a vampire berserker and the woman who could make him smile. It’s worth checking out.

Carol gets along well with her boss, Thomas Barrett, and his boss’s wife, Lynn. Lynn and Carol unwind together over a drink one Friday afternoon. Carol thinks it will be just a simple, social chat and a quick drink while Carol waits for Thomas to be ready for dinner. Lynn raises the fact it’ll soon be Thomas’ fortieth birthday and she wants to give him a special treat for his present. A threesome. Clearly nervous, she asks Carol whether she’d be interested in joining them. Lynn explains Thomas (like a huge proportion of men) has the fantasy of watching two women together, and then joining in. She wants to bring that fantasy to life for him, possibly even build a relationship between the three of them. But is Carol willing to take the risk?

This is a refreshing and well written story, which I found to be quite realistic. There’s no dark BDSM nightclub or sly pick up lines. It’s actually set out in such a way I can perceive it happening to people in reality. I enjoyed how the author explained this also wasn’t some snap decision on Lynn’s part. Lynn had thought quite seriously about the entire situation before broaching the subject with Carol. When Lynn puts her request forward Carol’s reaction matched what a realistic one would be to my mind, too. Curious, but with reservations.

I found the sex to be explicit but very tastefully written. I’m usually not a fan of F/F, but the first scenes with Carol and Lynn were written quite lightly. I enjoyed how the author showed us the gradual progression from platonic friends into something deeper. The author eases the reader into the change in their relationship, and that made it easier for me to read. The glances, the dwelling on different body types, then the kissing, it made me feel not like I was reading a F/F but about two women who were friendly and blossoming into more. The threesome sex was smoking hot, but still written in a very loving manner. I didn’t find this to be kinky or over-the-top. Readers who enjoy or are curious about threesome books might find this a good place to start – as the sex is explicit, but a lot of the focus is on the relationship between Thomas, Carol and Lynn, and how they manage to make this work, not just about the sex and passion between them.

I also didn’t think the F/F aspect of the story was overpowering. Yes, there’s a lot of kissing and intimacy between Lynn and Carol, but I found it to be tastefully written, and more about exploration than them creating a relationship excluding Thomas. While there was definitely a “happy for now” ending and I felt strongly that the three of them were working towards making the relationship last longer term, where the author left off did feel a little rushed. Also, the last chapter or so was the only part of the story that didn’t feel completely realistic to me. While it was logical, it felt pat, or as if the author simply wanted everything tied up neatly. This didn’t detract from my overall enjoyment of the story though, and I’d certainly be interested in reading more about this threesome in another book or sequel.

Smoking hot threesome sex and plenty of relationship discussion, this was a realistic look on how a ménage relationship could work well in the real world.

The one thing that did stand out to me was in the middle of the swinger party when Brad is physically involved with Julia, he is looking at a hot blond and telling her how much he wants her to be the third in their swinging adventure. Julia isn’t sure about this and as the story develops you find out that the girl is a virgin and all of a sudden she wants her first sexual encounter to be with these two strangers she meets at a party. Now, I understand the swinger lifestyle, but that seemed a little much in the suspension of disbelief department.

As the book goes on, you understand that Brad has a lot in the way of family secrets. As Julia becomes more involved with Brad there are mafia entanglements and you have a murder mystery on your hands. There are sex scenes throughout with the edge of danger woven in between the sheets. The witty back and forth between Brad and Julia is spicy, but there are points in the dialog that don’t fit or sound wrong. There is also Julia’s tendency to get mad at Brad for the strangest of reasons. She flips out when he won’t stay at her place but is okay with him in sexual situations with strangers. Go figure. The mafia part also kind of came out of nowhere for me. The story was zinging along and here is a situation where Brad offers Julia marriage to protect her from his family? What? Whoa. Again with the suspension of disbelief. Sexy yes. Swinger…okay. Mafia? Oh no.

Overall, I liked the pace of the book. The repartee was sharp and I liked the idea of the swinger scene. The saving of the virgin from the evil near-rapist was good, but lost me when the grateful young virgin sacrifices her virtue on the altar of “thank you kind sir and madam let’s have sex”. You did get to see Brad deal with his commitment issues and watch as he has some pretty tough decisions to make in regards to his family and Julia. If you like steamy sex with an edge of danger with mafia flair then you will probably enjoy this one.

For sexy spice with a swinger edge, give this book a try.

One woman sets out to discover the truth about The Phantom, and maybe finally discover the true sexual pleasure that the hands of mere men have denied her.

There is a legend known only to women. The Phantom, a ghostly lover, could one night creep into her bedroom and give her the pleasure her body craves. Sasha has been obsessed with him ever since she first heard his story in college. Ten years later, she still dreams of him coming to satisfy her needs. But is he even real?

As a journalist at a women’s magazine, she manages to convince her boss to let her do an article about him. Despite a very unsupportive boyfriend and a disbelieving best friend, Sasha begins to interview women who have experienced The Phantom only to find more questions than answers.

Ginger: Ginger is also very much effective in getting rid of this problem naturally and securely. cheap sildenafil no prescription Keung has many foes but only one skill to fight them, which is viagra soft tabs martial art. In order to avoid any kind of reactions, it is important to follow the below trend: Educate about cialis levitra online the condition. Could he have actually been around for thousands of years? Will she ever be lucky enough to experience him for herself? The questions only drive her need to know more.

It’s hard to tell which urban legends are based on true stories and which ones are completely fictional. Luckily, Sasha isn’t about to let this stop her search for The Phantom.

The relationship between Sasha and her best friend, Beth, is the linchpin of this tale. Their conversations create some of the most memorable moments of this piece. They truly seem to know one another extremely well, and I learned quite a bit about both characters by observing how they behave when they’re together.

I had a hard time understanding why Sasha remains in a relationship with a man who has so many negative qualities. Geoff is immature, selfish, and lazy, and he is written in such a way that it’s difficult for me to think of anything positive to say about him. It would have been nice to see the side of him that initially attracted Sasha in order to understand why they’ve remained together for so many years.

The sex scenes are lighthearted and playful. The BDSM elements don’t show up in every encounter, and when they do appear they are fairly tame. I especially enjoyed Sasha’s dreams that occasionally appear in italics before new chapters. They appear just often enough to whet my appetite for what Sasha hopes she will find if her mission is successful.

During the first half of the book I kept wishing I knew more about The Phantom’s origins. What Sasha discovers propels the plot forward, and while I would have liked to learn more I understand why the author made certain decisions about what she did and did not include in this particular subplot. It would be really interesting to read a sequel to this story, though, and I hope Ms. Leveret considers writing it.

The Phantom is a good choice for anyone in the mood for a mixed genre story that is as erotic as it is entertaining.
