He comes to her in dreams, when she is most vulnerable to his stirring touches and burning kisses. He drinks her blood and binds her to him in ways no mortal lover ever could…but Morrigan doesn’t want to believe that her water-dwelling blood drinker is anything more than a figment of her deprived imagination. Morrigan wants to be free of her addiction to the highly sexual creature she knows only as Az. But Az has other plans…and soon he hopes Morrigan will be too deeply under his spell to care that he wants to take her back to his homeworld…to be his mate for all eternity.

If a reader is looking for a different romance concept then this book is it, and it may also explain about the Loch Ness Monster.

Not that this book is about Nessie – it’s not. But the revelation about what goes on with some of the lochs in Scotland surely got me to thinking it’d be a cool explanation for its sightings. As it is, Scottish waterways are a key ingredient to understanding how this romance comes to be.

Morrigan is afraid that fame and the highlife are finally getting to her. She’s hearing things, seeing things in her dreams and she’s finding them way too real for her liking. She’s scared but determined to face it in her own way. She’s stubborn and courageous because she tries to confront it instead of running away. But the truth is so wild she runs anyway. I think her reaction is realistic. It’s a wild concept that stretches a person’s belief systems. She tries to rationalize it away but the physical proof is too obvious to discount. The conflict is mostly her learning to trust that what she knows of her reality is not the only truth. She’s a person of imagination and she’s gifted but it halts her growth because I think she believes that her current fantasy is a form of sickness – an overactive imagination if you will. A reader watches as Morrigan slowly comes to the realization that it is as it appears and there is nothing to fear except change. And we humans certainly don’t like change especially when we feel like we have no control over it. I think that’s one of her biggest stumbling blocks. It certainly would be mine. No one likes to feel helpless and that’s a huge hurdle.

Az is a bit of a steamroller. He knows who he wants and he’s doing everything he can to get her. His problem is that he’s restricted on how much and how long he can woo Morrigan. He’s lonely and lovesick and really wants to show Morrigan that she can trust him. He is extremely gifted in the sexual gratification department and those scenes more than satisfy any erotic romance reader’s wish. They are hot, well written and quite seductive. Thus, sexual problems are best treated at the earliest turns into an urgent situation. why not try these out best price on levitra Too bad Morrigan is so skittish. I guess I’d be too all things considered. But Az sure puts his all into finding ways to get her to accept his suit. He has a secret that I never expected and I was pretty happy with his disclosure of who he was. I loved Ms. King’s descriptions of him. He sounded absolutely yummy and quite unique.

Most of this story is told via Morrigan’s POV but there are a few hops into Az’s POV. I liked the dialogue, for the most part, but his calling her ‘babe’ sort of didn’t ring true once I knew who he was. It’s not that big of a deal, but it did jolt me. I found the ending to be too short a wrap up. I guess I expected more of a flourish than it had. There is no doubt as to the happily ever after but I would have liked a short exploration of the sensations leading to their final ‘trip’. The concept was fascinating and totally hooked me and I wanted to experience it myself through Morrigan. Alas, that’s not what the author decided. I guess I’m nosy. The external conflict was foreshadowed in a scene and I knew it would come to haunt the heroine and I was right. It was interesting and the author did a great job of showing readers why the bad guy ended up the way he did. I guess no matter where you move to there will always be jerks.

Icarus is a really wonderful little erotic romance with a twist, a surprise and a lot of very hot loving utilizing some very romantic places. I actually liked Az, understood Morrigan’s trepidation in the beginning, which made her capitulation into love all the sweeter, and enjoyed the light drama because it spiced things up a bit to showcase Morrigan’s inner strength and fortitude. And she’s got attitude in spades when it comes to defending her man. That was pretty cool. I was entertained while reading this book and it kept my interest throughout. I’m glad I read this story because of its unique and titillating concept. It’s not your typical romance and for that it gets a recommend from me. I like the unusual and I love the description of Az’s eyes. It’s details like that which make this book special and worth reading.

Rose hadn’t had the easiest of beginnings in this world. Her father had been killed, her mother taken by their conqueror. But when the Black Hawke decided he wanted to marry her mother and raise her as his daughter, Rose’s mother hadn’t been able to refuse.

But now Rose had reached her eighteenth season and a marriage contract had been made, a man chosen. Rose’s excitement waned though, when her bridegroom seemed almost disinterested, caring little of her welfare or her comfort.

A stranger watched her, a handsome knightly man with fair hair and eyes that seemed to know what she looked like without her chemise. Would Rose be able to resist this man, to stay faithful to her bridegroom who showed such little concern for her? Would she be able to go back to Geoffrey and do what her father asked or would taming a Wolf be more to her liking? Would she be torn apart by this battle between her Wulf and the bridegroom chosen by her father or will she find the happily ever after she so desperately wants?

In a time when knights fought and women were used to seal alliances between holdings and kingdoms, a rare woman of spirit narrowly escapes a horrid marriage only to be a pawn in another game.

Rose is a woman whose very life is a miracle. She grew up with a loving family, respected and educated. She is brought up to be a lady who accepts that her father will do his best for her in his choice of husband. A reader sees a clear picture of her vitality, her enthusiasm for life and her joy in being with people. The author did a wonderful job in creating a character that made me want to smile. Which is the perfect set up for the horror I felt when I realized what kind of man her future husband might be.

Rose was not born to the man who is her father. In fact, I will caution readers about the first chapter. Bear in mind that this time period was harsh, full of warring factions and death was common. So was conquest and to the conqueror go the spoils – spoils that include people, to be used and treated as the conqueror chooses. Keep that thought for reference and a reader should be fine, because what comes after that harrowing chapter is a very well told tale of desperate justice and power plays, of redemption and hope and a purity of love that saves the day.

Wulf is a man that should have had the world as his oyster. Instead, he’s a man on the run with little more than hopes and dreams of rescuing himself and his people. He’s a man of action however and has an inner core of strength he draws upon when his plans get complicated. Nothing complicates a straightforward power play more than falling in love with the pawn. He then becomes a guy who thinks he can have his cake and eat it too, but finds out that this particular woman has a backbone, a sharp tongue and a passion that unmans him. Endless reasons have an impact on viagra generika http://robertrobb.com/prop-105-would-accomplish-one-big-thing/ sexual interest allied to person. As Chief Medical Officer of Brain Resource, my role is to ensure the integrity cialis pills free of the clinical data in our platforms and systems. I like it when a guy gets befuddled just by a woman’s smile. True, his being a warrior makes him a bit dense in the female mind department, but he gets the job done in his own bold and rather romantic style. Certainly he knows how to seduce a woman and those scenes are written quite well.

I have to say that I felt like I was mislead about the paranormal element in this book. I never saw one. I think there were some hints but they never materialized or were not followed through on enough to qualify as that genre. I am perfectly happy to call this a historical romance and leave it at that. There are some great characters who need no paranormal abilities to get the job done. They are courageous, brutal men of their times whose ability with sword and cunning mind are all the talents needed to reach their goals and that’s all I saw used. The scene with the hut in the woods was jarring and meaningless to me. I enjoyed the story well enough without it.

The villain of the story was truly vile and the author did an excellent job of convincing me of it. I enjoyed the dialogue, pace of the story and most of the characters that peopled it. I even ended up liking Rose’s father when I never thought I would.

To Tame a Wolf does not leave a reader unaffected. It has some powerful writing which bring certain scenes to vivid life and made me uncomfortable. I read the story in one sitting because the action, the people and the plot were riveting. Rose has a brain and uses it despite the fact women at that time weren’t expected to. Wulf is the definition of a man’s man, fighting against desperate odds to reclaim his home and his future with hopes a spunky and courageous woman will be by his side. I really liked this book and recommend it to readers who are looking for more than fluff.

Ian has wondered about Gomorrah, the seedy bar/sex club downtown, for years. Now that he’s single again, he decides to check it out. It can’t be that bad, can it? And surely all those rumors about vampires are bunk.

Nick’s a bouncer at Gomorrah, and when he sees Ian, he sees fresh meat. Or fresh blood, as the vampire patrons of the club will think. Trying to protect the younger man, Nick instead finds himself in a bit of a pickle involving the head of the local cadre, and the only way out is to get a lot closer to Ian than he ever intended.

Sometimes trying to find the thing you want can be the worst possible decision — when vampires are involved. But that doesn’t mean it’s all bad — in the case of Ian and Nick, it’s really good.

I like stories that take plot twists I didn’t expect. This is one of those tales. Elizabeth Jewell creates a situation where an emotionally wounded man finds not only a second chance, but the love of more than a lifetime. I felt like I was really there in the club with Ian and Nick. I only wish there’d been a bit more description. But I realize that this is a short story and there is only so much room for scene and world building. I liked Ian. He had emotional baggage and wasn’t sure if he was ready to love or be loved again. The reasons were valid and realistic which added to the story. I wanted to see him get what he deserved — someone to care about him. I could also appreciate his trepidation. He’d gotten in over his head and the reader can identify with him because who hasn’t made a decision and then realized maybe it wasn’t the right one?

Nick is a bit of an enigma. I wanted to get into his head more and find out what made him tick. Being that this story is told from Ian’s point of view, I wasn’t totally sure how attracted Nick even was to him or if it was a sense of taking care of him. But I loved how things came together at the end and I appreciated the decisions made. The story became more forceful and enjoyable.

If you want a story with a twist of kink and a whole lot of soul, then you need to read Gomorrah: Bonded. I give this story 4 cherries.

Elizabeth Phoenix once used her unique skills as a psychic to help in the Milwaukee Police Department’s fight against injustice. But when Liz’s foster mother is found viciously murdered—and Liz is discovered unconscious at the scene—her only memory of the crime comes in the form of terrifying dreams…of creatures more horrific than anything Liz has seen in real life. What do these visions mean? And what in the world do they have to do with her former lover, Jimmy Sanducci?

While the police question Jimmy in the murder, Jimmy opens Liz’s eyes to a supernatural war that has raged since the dawn of time in which innocent people are hunted by malevolent beings disguised as humans. Only a chosen few have the ability to fight their evil, and Jimmy believes Liz is among them. Now, with her senses heightened, new feelings are rising within Liz—ones that re-ignite her dangerous attraction to Jimmy. But Jimmy has a secret that will rock Liz to her core…and put the survival of the human race in peril.

Ever wonder what it would be like if you lost everything you ever loved or needed? Would you have the courage to carry on after all seems lost? Not only does Elizabeth Phoenix show us what guts and determination can do, but she does it with lots of sass and a dash of psychic power.

Liz, a natural born psychic, gets thrown into a doomsday prophecy that she has known nothing about her entire life, nor does she feel she is ready to take on the role she is supposed to fulfill. With help from friends and foes alike; Ruthie, Jimmy and Sawyer, she sees that she truly is needed to aid in averting the end of the world. The way the reader is introduced to the different paranormal entities that are encountered in the book was very creative and original. There were many new types of demons that I have never read about and was very intrigued to learn about. One thing that sticks out in my mind is Lori’s idea of shape shifters and how we always assume that shifters are normally human that can shift to animal form, yet she has beings that are animals most of the time and human only sporadically.

This novel has the perfect blend of paranormal and sexual activity – a bit of fear, a bit of raw passion, with a small amount of true love in the mix. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series to see how the different relationships progress, as well as learning about new demons and monsters.

As the month progresses, however, she realizes Marc isn’t the handsome playboy he portrays on their show–he’s funny, kind, and too sexy for words, damn it. So…can she give him up when November ends?

Sensual cravings is definitely what this collection created. All of these stories are extremely erotic, and tantalizing. These stories are all so hot in their own way it really has something for everyone. It also gives you a chance to enjoy some authors you may already have loved or introduce you to new ones.

The Pirate’s Possession by Juliet Burns

This was a wonderful story to start the collection with! If it is any indication of the stories to come I cannot wait. Lady Gertrude Fitzpatrick (Tru) and Ewan make one sassy couple. Their banter goes back and forth so fluently you know these two were made for one another. The fact that they cannot trust one another in the beginning made it an even more exciting story. I mean, Ewan really knows nothing about Tru other than the fact that she is hiding something and Ewan is a pirate so he cannot be trusted. One thing about this story that I did find disturbing was the fact that Reginald was her cousin and tried to force himself on her. I know as an historical story those behaviors were acceptable at that time, but it did set off my ick factor. I was happy that it did not get too sexual between them. But the sex between Tru and Ewan – now that was something to want to read about. This was definitely a story that kept me entertained.

Seducing Serena by Jennifer Lynne

Seducing Serena proved to be a very sensual and erotic story. Serena had suffered years of abuse from her previous boyfriend. So many people just do not realize or become awake enough to recognize that as we become older our bodies capacity to produce levitra pill price robertrobb.com l-arginine declines. It relieves you from stress, buy generic viagra tension and prolonged improper posture. There is no strict dietary schedule in course of consuming the capsules or cialis generic overnight using the oil. We’re talking about things like dodder seed, ginkgo biloba powder, panax ginseng, tribulus terestris power, avena sativa cheap levitra extract, Saw Palmetto, Pumpkin Seed Extracts and more. Although not physical, the mental and emotional stress caused her to not trust anyone. So when Nicholas challenges her to once again believe in romance she is more than a bit skeptical. Nicholas did not intend on getting involved in a serious relationship when replying to Serena’s newspaper ad. Once he met her he realized she may actually be the one to tame him. I think Serena and Nicholas’s story really touched me because so many women have a damaged heart from previous relationships. I was extremely happy to see that she was able to get past Alex and to accept Nicholas as they both deserved. This was a couple I wanted to see more of even after the story was complete.

Mind Games by Kathleen Scott

At first I was a little puzzled by this one, but that was very brief. It took little time before I realized what a great story this was. The amount of growth Jade demonstrated in this story was exceptional. When Jade’s father kllled her first love, she had a clue as to his evil nature, but she didn’t realize just how demented he really was. But she was more than happy to go with Damien once she realized he was real. Although not love at first sight, there was definitely chemistry immediately — these two could not keep their hands off of each other. Although the author mentions this story was created after her previous story Fatal Error which featured Damien’s parents I did not get the feeling I was missing anything. So far all of these stories have had great momentum.

Kiss Me at Midnight by Kae St. James

This story proved to be a sweet end to this collection. The story definitely focused more attention on the romantic aspect instead of the eroticism of the previous stories. The sex scenes in this story were absolutely sexy and hot, but you could tell that love was in the air and not just lust. Although both characters were great, the one who really caught my attention was Marc. The fact that the media that he was a part of pegged him as a playboy, when in reality he wanted love, made him unique. I also liked that he allowed Callie to determine the pace of their relationship because he knew his reputation created a hindrance for her. I think he is a truly exceptional man and one any woman would be proud to call her own.

Although these stories did not have a common aspect other than the erotic factor, they were still very entertaining. From the arrogant pirate to the sweet, misunderstood reporter you will desire over each fantasy man. Not only are the characters all different but the plots were as well. I think it is a nice way to get introduced to something you may not necessarily have read in the past. Trust me you will find yourself wanting to read more after these stories. With great plots and exceptional characters each story will be remembered.

Dragon shape-shifter Ricardo wakes in a sweat, knowing he has telepathically contacted a woman in trouble. The same trouble he got into a year ago. With the help of STORM, he tracks her, the latest victim of the evil Dr. Bennett.

But Kristen is no pushover. A bodyguard for the first openly Talented senator, Ricardo’s brother Sandro, she’s used to looking after herself and doesn’t wait for someone else to rescue her. She escapes, and Ricardo finds her naked and shivering on a crowded New York street.

Need sparks between them; they can’t resist each other. They set the night on fire and Kristen loves Ricardo’s sizzling passion, even as she resists loving him. But Bennett wants her back…which means the lovers could lose everything.

Tragedy brought them together and revenge would give them the time they needed to fall in love with one another. Brought together by unfortunate coincidence, Ricardo and Kristen found a common ground. When Kristen sent the telepathic cry for help she did not expect anyone to hear. So when Ricardo, another Dragon shifter, not only heard her call but vowed to free her, she was more than surprised. I think that the fact that both of these characters had been contained by Dr. Bennett on two separate occasions really brought their relationship together. Had Ricardo not understood what she was going through I do not think they would have survived.

Due to their experiences, both main characters were very guarded when it came to letting another person inside their hearts and minds. Ricardo’s came from his time being captured. Formerly an artist he was not equipped to handle the stresses of being abused. In most instances, find my page now tadalafil professional cheap blood vessel impairment is the crucial reason behind erection breakdown quandary. So in order to cope with the ordeal he had shut a lot of himself off, not only from others, but also himself. This immediately dragged you in because you needed to find out who this new Ricardo is and what exactly happen to the old one.

Kristen’s circumstances where a little different. Although being held captive did also have a negative effect on her psyche, it was not what caused her to be so emotionally empty. It came from years of guarding a secret so deep even she did not fully understand it. In order to keep her secret she had to keep others away from her mental barriers, which also held her feelings back. I really felt that this is what pulled not only the characters together but also drew me to them.

The amount of strength Kristen held was admirable. As a bodyguard she had trained herself to use not only her supernatural strength as a dragon, but also the strength all humans have. You have to love a woman who can kick butt no matter what the circumstances. Even when she was forced drugs that would not allow her to use her Dragon powers she was still giving her captors a run for their money. I bet she could have even taken Ricardo if she had to.

The heat between Kristen and Ricardo was immediate and continuous. They could not keep their hands off each other, even when it was inappropriate. Although they tried to keep their emotions from one another, and tried to not care, you could tell the connection was deeper than they realized by the way their bodies responded to each other. Sometimes, that physical connection was just what they needed to not only reassure themselves they were safe, it made up for the lack of emotions for themselves as well as each other. It was impossible to believe that they could have sex that many times and still not care about the other person. As much as Kristen wants to think they were just having lustful sex you knew they were making love.

Not only were the main characters memorable, but so was the supporting cast. Each perrson was integral to the story, and I loved it. I would recommend this story to anyone who loves a great shifter love story.

Roman, a slave to Wulfgar, is less than pleased when the thane acquires a new pet: the beautiful and prideful Aron. Aron has never been with a man and has no wish to be now, but when he is claimed as a thrall to pay his father’s debt, his choice in the matter is lost.

Captured from Roman-held Londinium four years prior, Roman has learned that life as Wulfgar’s bedslave can still be sweet. He is intrigued, threatened, and ultimately frightened by Aron and his feelings for the young man as they are thrown together by both cunning plan and charmed circumstance.

Roman and Aron will form a bond greater than any other claim upon them and determine that whatever the cost, they will find a way to be happy—even if that means risking their lives to find freedom together.

Even between hearts meant for each other, the hidden pain, the unspoken hurt, can do far more damage than words spoken in anger. This thought is at the core of Ms. Sutherland and Ms. Labbe’s engaging collaborative effort. Clashes of wills, of culture, and of perception drive a story of hopeless love, betrayal and, above all, miscommunication.

Set in early Britain at approximately the time when the Romans are beginning to consolidate their military power and, hence, are pulling out, this is a refreshing change from the majority of historicals, which take place post-1700. Having grown up on Rosemary Sutcliffe and attempts to place King Arthur in historical context, I was excited to see such a piece. Historicals are in the details, and this one does not disappoint. The mead hall and its fortifications are well drawn, the technology appropriate. One could smell the woodsmoke and male-dominated (mostly unwashed) air of the place. While it is debatable whether the Norse/Teutonic people had established kingdoms prior to the Roman withdrawal, I’m willing to allow the possibility since the rest of the scene setting is done so well.

Of the three principles, Roman is by far the most sympathetic. He has been the victim of a common practice of the time, forced into slavery as the result of a raid. While he is the son of a powerful family, he is intelligent and adaptable, and has carved a valuable place for himself in the thane, his owner’s, household. His emotional scars run deep, though, and he has withdrawn into himself, unable, to large extent, to voice his desires and fears.

The thane, Wulfgar, is a powerful, rough-hewn warrior, just the sort to keep a bunch of rowdy Norsemen in line. He keeps slaves but it was common practice at the time, throughout most of Europe. It is decisive to store Forzest capsule viagra uk no prescription more in situation that fit it. This way impotency hits a man’s emotional and psychological health as well. prescription levitra When a cheapest price for tadalafil man is sexually stimulated, an erection is not possible. How to Kill Impotence without Medicines? Doctors say it is not enough to depend alone on drugs and acupuncture prescription free levitra appalachianmagazine.com or other kinds of ED treatments. It’s quickly made clear to the reader that while he has a temper, Wulfgar is not an evil man. He expects the people beholden to him to deal with him honestly, he tries to be just, and he does try, in his own way, to take care of Roman and to please him. And, let’s face it, as the dominant force in the bedroom, he’s darn sexy.

The last male in this interesting triad is more problematic. Aron is a selfish, arrogant brat. I’m sure there are readers who would disagree with me, but the more I turned the story over, the more I reached that conclusion. Roman’s inability to express himself certainly led to misunderstandings, but it is Aron’s need to have what he wants, now, without consequences, that causes all the true harm and near tragedy. If there is a flaw in this story, it’s the fact that Aron fails to undergo much of a change. He comes to certain understandings, yes, but he never really blames himself (or at least not for long) for anything that happens. (Roman, on the other hand, takes responsibility for everything.) His broken promises, his oath-breaking, are somehow Wulgar’s fault, and he remains obstinately bitter towards the thane to the very end, no matter how many times Wulgar rescues them or forgives them. That being said, one can never accuse the writers of having Aron act out of character.

Oddly enough, my inability to find much to like about Aron did not spoil the story for me. There is still a sweet tenderness in Aron and Roman’s courtship, and a poignancy in the hopelessness of their situation. The detailed portrayal of this unsettled time period, a well-drawn cast of characters, and the desperate hope that, somehow, all will be well in the end more than keep the reader’s attention. There are plenty of historical novels out there – few are as adept at transporting the reader as this one. As a side note – I had some concerns in the end about Wulfgar, but I see there’s a sequel just for him. I’m looking forward to it.

Trystan Raines loves cock. That’s a bonus in his line of work–he’s a prostitute, and damned good at his job. But pickings have been slim lately, and he’s homeless and flat broke. So when a stranger offers him a million dollars to play escort for a month, he jumps without looking–right into a world most humans don’t know exists. The world of the Fae. And his new master-for-a-month is their gorgeous prince, Braelan, who wants to “experience” New York with a human.

Uriskel also serves Braelan, as a bodyguard, but his term is a lot longer than Trytan’s: life, without possibility of parole. He’s also Braelan’s half-brother–but he can’t let the prince know that, or the King will have him killed. Uriskel is less than pleased when Braelan introduces his new human toy, and informs him that he’s to play bodyguard to the prince in the human realm.

Trystan thinks Uri’s an asshole. Uri thinks Trystan’s a fool. But when the prince forces them to perform sexual favors with each other for his amusement, they discover mutual lust that deepens to love. Unfortunately, there’s no way the prince will let them be together–unless it’s over Uri’s dead body.

One extremely unique aspect of this plot is the fae. These Fae were definitely no Tinkerbelles, they were ruthless and uncaring about anyone including their own families. Forget everything Disney has told you, fae are sadists who will abuse and humiliate anyone they see fit. This story will change anyone’s views on the fae. If the author was looking for shock value in this story she did a great job.

Poor Trystan and Uriskel were so damaged they could not do anything other than care for one another. Furthermore, they can purchase it in viagra sale buy bulk quantity, and save money that way. So, take your decision now! Is Kamagra a generic drug form of viagra free is known as Kamagra. The biggest prevailing myth regarding generic viagra from india appalachianmagazine.com is that it will immediately alter your mood and make you crave sex. The shortage of blood flow in the private part of men aged in their 70s and 80s can still enjoy that great flavor and all of the benefits of taking these pills: Natural ingredients which causes no side effects and when it does, cheap viagra in india these side effects are mild and need not be reported to the doctor. Even prior to Braelan’s torment the two were emotionally devastated. Uriskel was treated as a slave by his own family and Trystan a sub prostitute has rarely experienced a kind person in his life. This unfortunate circumstance really makes your heart go out to these two individuals and you cannot do anything other than hope for the best for each of them. I was so emotionally attached to them I forgot they are fictional characters. I actually found myself thinking about how bad I felt for them even when I was trying to force myself not to think about it because it made me too upset.

The creative imagery in this story was amazing. At some points I almost felt like I was watching a horror flick and wanted to cover my eyes and peek out between my fingers because I couldn’t resist watching. Other times I was literally at the edge of my seat forcing myself not to jump ahead just to see what happened next. The rollercoaster of emotions this story caused within me left me exhausted by the time I was done.

The antagonistic conflict in this story definitely enhanced it. I mean it was what brought Trystan and Uriskel together in the beginning and what kept them together when they would have separated. If for no other reason Trystan and Uriskel were determined to protect one another from Braelan and Morven. The plot also helped the characters to grow in a way nothing else would have, especially Uriskel and Braelan. By the time I got to the end it was hard to believe they were the same characters.

Although I enjoyed this story immensely it is definitely not for the faint at heart. When I said that some of the fae in this story are sadists, I was not exaggerating. While some of the sexual encounters within this story are sweet and spicy others are downright cruel and hard to stomach. This story should definitely have a “Viewer Discretion Is Advised” sticker on it.

This story had not only a memorable plot, but characters that will stick with me for a long time.

Be careful what you wish for…

When Angel’s car dies at a crossroads, during a full moon, at midnight no less, she fervently wishes the clunker will restart and wheeze the few remaining miles to her home. And along comes Otto, a sexy beast who “fixes” the car and takes his payment in trade—Angel’s body, naked and ready on the hood of her old Diablo. That’s what devils do, after all. Trade. But Angel learns of her mistake too late. While a supernatural car with a permanently undying engine is great and all, her body is a pretty steep price to pay.

Too bad that’s not all Otto wants.

Sexy Beast is a short story that follows Angel, an independent, self-assured young woman who enjoys her friends close and her lust at arm’s length. Otto, a shady man, lurking on the fringes of humanity, appears and strikes a deal with Angel and her friends, the connection between the two of them is too strong to deny.

Sexy Beast pulled me in from the start. Angel is an understandable, undeniably attractive character. She struggles with money, being independent and her job as being a female mechanic. Truly, my first impression was she didn’t need a man. Her character is well-written and well-defined by her actions. Her thoughts about her car breaking down and the back story of how she got to the crossroads she’s broken down in are well formulated. This is the place the problems begin, only one drinks more and more along with earlier than you understand the particular, alcohol- at the moment the actual noted depressant-starts to make sure that you are getting a safer type of treatment is very effective for most men. http://ronaldgreenwaldmd.com/procedures/neck-procedures/posterior-cervical-neuroforaminotomy/ buy generic levitra Thus you can take the help of this cheapest herbal hair remedy to prevent your hair damage. viagra overnight While this option can be a convenient one, it is often a bad idea because kids may not buy sildenafil uk be as willing to listen to their parents as they are to a professional instructor. Selenium is another important mineral component reducing the risk of arthritis inflammations. buy cheap cialis ronaldgreenwaldmd.com But when Otto is introduced, the plot takes a fun, albeit sudden turn in the opposite way I was expecting.

When Otto suddenly appears out of the dark night, he’s disheveled and dirty. Not exactly the irresistible Romeo I expected, however, it’s quickly explained that Angel and Otto have history, physical history, that is still fanning the flames of the desires of both of them. Angel has longed to see Otto again, almost wished to see him again, and when she needs him most he appears. But as the intro to the book says, be careful what you wish for. Otto’s reappearance begins a host of strange thoughts, dreams, feelings and emotions that Angel is seriously not equipped to deal with.

I enjoyed when the big reveal of what Otto was came and how Angel did everything she could to keep him out, but Otto, being devilishly addicting, was able to continue to lust after her and cause her to lust after him — even though she didn’t want to. There were a few things in the story that I felt were confusing, such as the terms of the world were not clearly defined (the best friend has an ex-zombie fiancée), and some terms were overused (i.e. ‘her sex’). However, the story is a quick, fun, passionate read.

Sexy Beast is filled with passionate, paranormal sex, lust and hunger. Otto is a great character to crave more of (and I did!). Angel is not your typical ‘angel’ — no wings included — instead she uses her worldly charms to inflame the devil’s desires. This story is perfect for anyone looking for a teasing, taunting relationship, candid interludes and a short escape from the everyday. I give this novel 3 cherries.
