Did Red Riding Hood get the story wrong when she said her grandmother had been eaten by a wolf? When Nicholas Wolfe surprises Elise at her lonely house in the forest, she decides to use him for sex like he did with her before he left years ago….

Who doesn’t want that happy ever after that fairy tales always end with? This new twist on an old story did not disappoint. This short story had me glued to the pages from the very first sentences. Natasha Moore weaves a wonderful world of fantasy for her readers to enjoy. As you loose yourself in this world you find out just what true love can be like.

Elise is a strong woman that has lived a long life. She’s had a daughter and now a granddaughter nicknamed “Red”. She has never backed down or given up but she does long for things every now and than. When Nicholas Wolfe shows up back in town and at her door she is taken by surprise. Will Elise let him back in and open her heart once again? Can she trust Wolfe or will he hurt her again?

As Elise and Wolfe talk again after so many years their feelings begin to show. Of course talking leads to many other things as well. Will these two be able to finally get their long time coming happy ever after? Elise and Wolfe each must give and take to make things work but if they can manage to make it all work out what a wonderful thing it will be.

I loved reading about the past relationship between Elise and Wolfe and seeing them resolve things was beautiful indeed. This scorching read is not to be missed. As a big fan of Natasha Moore and fairy tales themselves I would love to see more of Natasha’s takes on our old but beloved fantasy stories.
