Sasha is a vibrant young woman, serious about her job and happy being single. Her life is straight-laced, until she meets Sam, who convinces her to jump headfirst into a fantasy, where the outcome can only lead to one thing. Her ‘sick day’ is about to become far more than what she ever thought it could be.

Who hasn’t had a Monday where they wanted nothing more than to call in sick and just stay home? Sasha never has. On one particular stress filled Monday morning, a chance encounter with a sexy stranger in the local coffee shop turns into a fun filled day of playing hookey…..among other things.

One of the things about this story I liked so much was the characters. I know, I know, roll your eyes and think the same thing I just did…..What do you think a story is? It is characters! DUH! BUT when you have a story that has characters that from the very beginning seem to pull at you, feel so real, have such real characteristics that you feel like you know them and are not just reading about them, well that is a great story!

Both the hero and heroine in this tale are characters that a reader can relate to. The story line is solid and not hard to be pulled in by. I have to say it is a story I would love to hear more about. I would like to see how the lives of these two characters complement each other in the future. Ms McNicol, I am blown away by your story. Thank you for letting the rest of us have the opportunity to be enriched by its presence among us.
