The third in a paranormal romance series packed with danger, sensuality and clever twists features Nigel Aquarian, a warrior with an artistic bent, and Natalie Fleming, a chocolatier who has a new lease on life. But her freedom comes with a dangerous gift she doesn’t want.

Nigel and his fellow warriors have only just escaped imprisonment when an even worse threat emerges. Natalie is the only woman who can help Nigel–but she’s also the one most likely to bring him down.

If a reader is looking for a book that teeters on the edge of a cliff, keeping them off balance with suspense and daring do, then this story will be worth checking out.

First, this is a part of a series but a new reader will have no problems with feeling connected to the storyline or characters. They are going to be consumed with Nigel and Natalie because the author focused solely on them. There are references to the previous book but in a natural way during conversations between characters so everything flows and is connected as it should.

For readers of the series, this book isn’t as funny but the tortured heroes are just as tortured and aggressive about escaping Mari’s influence in the Den as they ever were. Mari is a leftover villain who thinks she’s not evil or twisted or mean. I’ll let readers judge for themselves what role she truly plays once they’ve read this story. The author had my feelings for Mari’s character bouncing back and forth like a tennis match. I’m still not sure which side of the net I’ve landed on.

For Natalie and Nigel my sentiments aren’t as ambiguous. I liked Nigel. I’m warm to Natalie. I found Ella to be intriguing, and Christian is a man who needs saving. Pascal and Blaine haven’t been twisted in emotional pain enough to get their own story…yet. I’m betting that Christian is next. And I really want to know who he’s going to end up with because this book introduced some incredible options that beg to be explored. I’m already hooked for the next installment.

The author’s creation and use of smut, deedubs and dream genies continues to be ingenious and unique. The idea of men being part metal and having the ability to do amazing things with their bodies still entertains and fascinates. It is available in different dosage buy generic tadalafil tablets prices by making usage of an online pharmacy store holding all the medicine sanctioned by USFDA, offering in most reasonable price as compared with others. It includes sildenafil 10mg interactive videos, online books, presentations and any other sort that is educating interestingly. The reason why men like the jelly form is said to be more effective than the pills cheap tadalafil or powder. For performing the conception process, acupuncture can be the main course of treatment. cialis tadalafil 5mg I never know what the author will come up with next. I can’t even guess. Ms. Rowe has an exceptional imagination.

Even with all the praise, Hold Me If You Can is a rollercoaster. After awhile, I got tired of the few steps forward and many steps back that Nigel and Natalie take on their journey to their happy ever after. Granted, it was suspenseful and many times dramatic; most certainly it’s well written. But, eventually I got inured to all the self flagellation and lack of confidence they both had in themselves. It slowed the story down and lasted too long. The ending didn’t seem like it had enough time to feel complete, to be enjoyed. The protagonists went through so much emotional and physical hardships, I had hoped for a more emotionally satisfying ending. I didn’t get it. Yes, they finally realized they loved each other and the final chapter had some cuteness to it, even a bit of humor. But there wasn’t enough of what I needed to keep the happy glow alive longer than it took to close the book.

Hold Me If You Can is a page turner. It has thrills and chills and quite a few fun parts to keep a reader entertained and interested. Natalie and Nigel are a vibrant couple with some quirks that make having a happily ever after a challenge to achieve. It’s how they eventually accomplish it that will amaze readers and keep them on the edge of their seats. It’s a book worth reading.

ABDUCTION

Never had Elspeth Stewart imagined her wedding would be interrupted by a dark-haired stranger charging in on a black stallion, scooping her into his arms, and carrying her off across the wild Scottish highlands. Pressed against his hard chest and nestled between his strong thighs, she ought to have feared for her life. But her captor silenced all protests with a soul-searing kiss, giving Elspeth a glimpse of the pain behind his passion—a pain only she could ease.

OBSESSION

“Mad Rob” MacLaren thought stealing his rival’s bride-to-be was the perfect revenge. But Rob never reckoned that this beautiful, innocent lass would awaken the part of him he thought dead and buried with his wife. Against all reason, he longed to introduce the luscious Elspeth to the pleasures of the flesh, to make her his, and only his, forever.

With two clans against them burning for battle, they must find a way to join together—body, breath, and soul. Or both will be made to pay for the…
SINS OF THE HIGHLANDER

A familiar plot with breath-holding twists and turns sets Lady Elspeth Stewart and Laird “Mad Rob” MacLaren on a path of danger in the harsh Scottish terrain with pursuers hot on their heels. Hidden caves, hungry wolves, tricky waterways, and jealousy in Dark Castle along with superstitions heighten the likelihood of death as the story unfolds.

It’s quite an adventure for Elspeth who had resigned herself to be wedded to and bedded by a man she meet for the first time at the altar of the church where the priest is to perform the ceremony. She becomes an innocent pawn in a revenge plan when “Mad Rob” on an ill-tempered black stallion rides into the church and snatches her away before vows are finished.

The blatant taking of Laird Lachlan Drummond’s bride is meant to be an insult for all to see. Rob MacLaren is a man on a mission. Drummond had stolen Rob’s wife of two weeks and she died at the Drummond castle. Rob doesn’t even know where his beloved Fiona is buried. Although Rob is laird of the impregnable Caisteal Dubh (Dark Castle), his life is empty and his grief does not abate. He wants revenge. He considers “an eye for an eye”, but cannot bring himself to harm an innocent. He has no idea what a wreck the innocent Elspeth will make of his plan and how near they will come to death before their adventure ends.

Elspeth’s loyalty and sense of duty to her family cause her to mark the trail Rob takes her on. Kamagra oral levitra properien try description jelly is a reclassified ED treatment. She feels she has a duty to him if not to the man to whom she was to be wed. However, Rob’s gentle, exquisitely tender touch stirs to life a new feeling that makes Elspeth know, he values her just for herself not for material gain. She begins to reevaluate her priorities.

The secondary characters play significant roles in pivotal happenings as the hero and heroine journey through a maze of dangers, growing pains, and, at times, seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Mrs. Beaton, Rob’s housekeeper, is a mighty force that is malicious, while Normina, a lowly servant in the Drummond castle, knows much and says little, but she is not to be discounted. Many others captivate and make the story exciting to read as they aid or impede the hero and heroine along the way.

SINS OF THE HIGHLANDER is fast-paced and full of strong emotions. Connie Mason and Mia Marlowe weave in snippets about Elspeth’s gift of “Sight”, the superstitions about witches, the control fathers and husbands have over females, along with the culture and “pecking order” in a Scottish castle. These create an undercurrent of impending peril and a sense of urgency that keeps one turning pages.

Their graphic descriptions make the story throb with life. An example is the crossbow wound that Elspeth gets as she tries to protect Fingal, the deer hound, from her fiancé and the subsequent efforts made to save her. The wolves’ attack and so many more terrifying happenings keep the pulse pounding. More especially, the love scenes are spine tingling as Elspeth is awakened to what true love is and Rob finds that his heart did not die when Fiona did.

SINS OF THE HIGHLANDER is a vicarious experience that sizzles and pulses with life — completely enthralling.

Lovely witch Lili Carter takes a job at a paranormal hospital where patients have been disappearing. There she encounters Jared, a dangerously sexy demon on a mission that gets Lili into a world of trouble. Lili can’t avoid Jared for long and soon they find themselves creating a whole new kind of magick…

Lili is searching for a witch friend that just “disappeared” from the hospital she was working at, but what she finds is a demon in the dungeon below…

Ms. Wisdom makes her heroine a witch who heals and nurtures her friendships. Lili is kind, will defend her patients and friends to the death, and hasn’t had a love for a long time. The author really caught my attention with her demented demon. He’s a hunk that went a bit crazy from being bit by a vampire and the doctor running the hospital is using him for his own ugly purposes. He’s being tortured, they’ve blocked his mind from certain memories, and the ogre custodians love to beat on him. I could feel my hackles rise when I started reading about him. The author does a good job of making you care by sharing her characters’ emotions with you.

They always know more than you want them to, and they’ll pester you to get the truth. Ms. Wisdom must have a few of those in her life also because she writes so accurately about them.

The author uses historical references to enhance her depiction of the dungeon under the hospital and to indicate how aged the witches and demons of the story are. That’s a very nice touch. The story works and has enough detail to it to make it seem authentic, even if it’s a world we don’t live in.

I enjoyed this read and think you will, too, if you like fantasy. It has good action, you care about the characters and it’s the classic fight between good and evil. Where can you go wrong?

A lost child herself, Syrene cares about the missing boy even though Dylan’s personality is nothing short of rude. But Syrene refuses to unleash her dangerous siren’s voice, even for a man who is impossible to deny…

This story really took me out of my element and made me experience things I have never encountered before as a reader. I say this because I usually read erotic romance and the slow, smooth burning love you in this sensual love story was new territory. I never knew how enjoyable reading a true romance novel could be until now.

Oz does not have anything in particular that normally would attract me to a hero (I’m a big fan of super alpha men), yet I still found myself mesmerized by his character. I am not sure if it is his refusal to take no for an answer or that he is a devoted father willing to do whatever it takes to get his son back, but Oz wormed his way into my heart. Most of us have known at least one person whom we did not find attractive at first but the more you learn about them to more attractive they seem, until eventually, you just cannot help but want them and that is exactly what Oz did to Syrene and me.

This need for privacy is further exacerbated when Oz shows up and destroys the little bit of a normal life she has created for herself. As an introvert, myself I can completely understand why Syrene would want to have her privacy honored and not be in the spotlight. I do not envy her situation one bit, but I knew she would do what was best for everyone even if it meant having to feel uncomfortable for a while.

The relationship between Oz and Syrene is a slow burn, which made it that much more infectious and enchanting. If nothing else keeps the pages turning the love / hate relationship of these characters will. Despite their appearance of being complete oppposites, the was an attraction between them that ensured a happy ever after, especially with the support of the other characters. The secondary characters add excitement and mystery to the plot, and a couple of them put Lana and Drew in a dangerous situation that could end everything.

HE’LL TAKE ANY MISSION, THE RISKIER THE BETTER…

The haunted eyes of pararescueman Hugh Franco should have been her first clue that deep pain roiled beneath the surface. But if Amelia couldn’t see the damage, how could she be expected to know he’d break her heart?

SHE’LL PROVE TO BE HIS BIGGEST RISK YET…

Amelia Bailey’s not the kind of girl who usually needs rescuing…but there are anything but usual circumstances.

Strong characters that never falter in their determination to serve “that others may live” make Hot Zone an adrenaline-pumping journey through hellish experiences and emotional upheavals.

Amelia Bailey, a tough, no-holds-barred county prosecutor, entombed under a collapsed hotel, tamps down hysteria and claustrophobia. By wiggling her arm through a small hole, she can touch thirteen-month-old Joshua, her adopted nephew whom she had told her brother and sister-in-law she would take care of. She vows to do whatever it takes to keep him alive until help arrives. The ensuing dangers that Amelia meets and overcomes are hair-raising, yet read as if they are late-breaking news.

Master Sergeant Hugh Franco, a pararescueman, truly does serve “that others may live”. He has found no other reason to live since the death of his wife and daughter. He seems to work at the most dangerous assigns as if they are getting him one day closer to joining them.

When his involvement with Amelia and Joshua doesn’t end when he rescues them from the rubble, Hugh has a personal battle to fight. He balks again and again at the long-dormant emotions coming alive and making him vulnerable, making him care, maybe even love. He is somewhat of a Superman at rescues, but afraid of caring emotions.

The earthquake demolished city, the looting and crimes, the human trafficking, the jungle dangers, and human depravity keep the reader in a breath-holding mode much of the time. Amelia, so out of her depth and dependent on Hugh, creates an anxiety that keeps the reader turning pages to see how in the world they escape the many perils.

The secondary characters like three-time divorced Major Liam McCabe and the rescue dog handler Rachel Flores should have a book all their own. As the gelatin capsules which encapsulates the active components gets dissolve, Sildenafil the chief component enters the body and starts canadian pharmacy for viagra working. They are a unique couple that deals with the horrors of their jobs in ways that give the reader insight into two complex personalities that have a special connection.

Other characters that struggle with personal problems are Amelia’s brother Dr. Aiden Bailey and his nurse wife Lizabeth. They help save as many as they can in the make-shift hospital, as they look for and inquire about Amelia and Joshua in their down time from doing surgeries. But the family issue they much come to terms with threatens to derail their marriage.

Of course, the antagonists, especially the Guardian and crew are a despicable lot that ramps up the action to the max. How their twisted minds justify human trafficking is abhorrent.

The sex scenes to “decompress” and the sex scenes with love create a wrinkle in time. They help block out the horrors and terrors of that has happened. These scenes also enhance connections that help get the characters on the road back to normalcy and to a life with hope for happy-ever-afters.

Catherine Mann’s powerful writing style sweeps the reader into pulse-pounding dangers, gripping suspense, and spine-tingling passion. Moreover, she creates super heroes that send the heart racing. The women she creates have their share of flaws but are strong, intelligent, passionate and worthy of love. Hot Zone assails the senses, offers up an-off-beat sort of humor, and stirs emotions from the very depths of one’s being—a transporting read.

HE’S EXACTLY WHAT SHE’S ALWAYS WANTED, AND SHE UNLEASHES HIM LIKE A FORCE OF NATURE…

Lucy was once the beloved Goddess of the Moon, and she could have any man she wanted. But these days, the goddesses of the Etruscan pantheon are all but forgotten. The only rituals she enjoys now are the local hockey games, where one ferociously handsome player still inflames her divine blood…

Brandon Stevenson is one hundred percent focused on the game, until he looks up and sees a celestial beauty sitting in the third row. A man could surely fall hard for a distraction like that…

If a reader is looking for a book that will grab them from the first chapter then How to Worship a Goddess will do the trick. Ms. Julian sets the seduction up with teases about who and what Lucy is and how she’s yearned for the sexy and scarred hockey player. He turns up at her bar and the heat just sizzles between them. At first it’s a slow burn but the reader gets drawn in because of the eager anticipation thrumming through the scenes. It doesn’t take long for the pages to ignite and a reader is in for an eye-popping start to their relationship. I expect some readers will feel flushed because the descriptions are intense and I felt the emotions all the way to my toes. From that moment on, I simply could not put this book down. That same first chapter ends with a twist. What I found incredible was that it was only the beginning of the amazing and entertaining journey that Lucy and Brand embark upon. Where could the author go from there?

Internal and external conflicts – that’s where. Ms. Julian imbued her characters with a boatload of problems to overcome. Trust issues, life changes, nefarious manipulations, overprotective offspring, and the truth about Lucy. How’s a guy, used to playing the rough and tumble game of hockey, ever going to believe in what Lucy is? What will he do to keep her? And will the heroine get out of her own way so she could accept the happiness that’s just a touch of skin away? I had a great time watching how the author made the hero and heroine dance around all those dilemmas while falling in love the whole time.

Another great thing about this story is that it made me laugh. The out loud wanting-to-stifle-the-giggles-lest-people-thought-I-was-nuts laugh. I loved it when Ty showed Brand what he could do. The hero’s reaction was priceless and I could imagine what that must have looked like –making me giggle all the harder. That’s just one great example of the author’s sense of fun. Then Caeles showed up and that exchange between Dogbreath and the “intelligent son” had me in stitches again. I completely enjoyed the banter and camaraderie that jumped off the pages between the main protagonists and the secondary characters. In fact, there were other secondary characters that played key roles in moving the plot along or gave me greater insight as to what makes both Lucy and Brand tick. Great writing all around.

Just when I thought all the cards had been played, Ms. Julia threw down a winning hand with a secret about Brand. It was awesome! It was exciting! And I thought I’d been gripped and engrossed before? Half way through the book and it was like I was recharged — I could not stop reading. I never saw that revelation coming and it knocked my socks off. Again, the drama, the writing and descriptions brought it all to vivid life for me. I love surprises and every one of them is delightful in this tale.

The scene where Brandon gave into his passion despite his fighting not to do so – that whole encounter was combustible, totally screaming hot and made for a sexually intense and satisfying relationship scene that wowed me. If erotic romance readers like what I like, then they’re in for a treat. They’ll thrill to his mastery and loss of control. The author wrote it to perfection.

Just to be clear, the story isn’t all internal angst and sex. There’s this really scary demon thing that hurts someone Lucy loves and they all have to band together and outwit the thing. It was dramatic, heart thumping and emotional. More kudos for that well written action.

The happily ever after is everything that I could wish for and I was very satisfied and content with the romantic declaration towards the end.

Romance that makes you smile, cheer and swoon doesn’t get any better than How to Worship a Goddess. It’s a wild and amusing tale with great emotion, intense dramatic flair topped off with sizzling sexual chemistry between the main characters. Ms. Julian has given a marvelous gift to readers in writing her Forgotten Goddesses series and I can’t wait to read the next adventure. It’s truly worth waiting for.
