Samantha Dobson is thirty two and heading towards ‘the shelf.’ Life seems to be passing her by. Her friends Christmas party gives her a second chance at the man she once gave away.

Is she brave enough to grab what is being offered?

As the title suggests, this story is about second chances. The dialogue was good and pacing very fast but it’s a very short read and doesn’t give you an opportunity to get to know the characters in any depth before you’re reading the last word.

I liked the beginning of the story where the heroine thinks she’s being set up on yet another blind date and in walks someone she once let go. However, after that it seemed rushed and I was waiting for more conflict to set the stage for what was to come, but it never materialized.

If you’re in the mood for a quick, romantic snack this might be one for you.
