When a va-va-voom redhead walks into Luke Hurley’s bar, he vows to get to know her. But she escapes him every time, her family besieging her. Luke wants to save her. Hell, he wants to savor her if he can only figure out how to intrigue her…and nail her. Luke has his hands full of the classiest, funniest female he’s ever met for one naughty night. But will she love him tomorrow?

Weddings are traditionally happy times full of celebrations, hell yeah, especially when the bar tender is Luke Hurley!

Red head, dubbed Rita Hayworth, is attending her stepson’s wedding when Luke Hurley spots her propping up his bar. And what hot-blooded male wouldn’t notice her?  She’s pretty, funny, has curves in all the right places and her smile lights up the room. But families are complex creatures, none more so when there are a pile of ex’s hanging around, all of whom seem to want a piece of the pretty lady he wants to get alone. Eventually he does and boy do things get hot, hot enough to give them one hell of a good time. But can a one night stand lead to more? Do they have enough chemistry? And what about their age difference? Will it matter when they’re so compatible?

More Than You Know is written from Luke’s point of view and I liked Luke, a lot. He was a good guy, seemed to think like a guy (even though the book is written by a woman) and was after more than just a romp in the sack. A typical bartender he is not! He’s completely bewitched by the older woman who keeps turning his head. Everything about her is mesmerizing to him and the author really got this across nicely; her hair, the way she moved, the banter between them. It was nice because it didn’t seem like she was trying to snare him or that he was totally stalking her, it just happened and when it did – Boom!

Ms DeLand writes good erotic romance with three dimensional characters, steamy sex and well rounded plot lines. I’ve read and enjoyed her work before and this one is no exception. The wedding situation was fun and kept the story kicking along. I fell for Luke, ‘Rita Hayworth’ is one lucky lady, and their dilemma at the end was well-handled, not too prolonged but equally enough made of it. I enjoyed the fact that I could see them ‘riding off into the sunset together.’

If you enjoy immersing yourself in a one-night stand story that has potential for more, then More Than You Know might be just up your alley.
