Opposites attract, especially when there’s a ride involved!

Carolyn Brown’s books never cease to entertain me. I know I’ll get a great read that flows and draws me in from page one. Cowboy Seeks Bride is no different. Once I started this book, I had to find out what happened next.

Opposites are said to attract and in this book that’s very true. But even the most opposite people have common ground. Neither Dewar or Haley are about to back down. Both are headstrong. But he’s a whole lot country and she’s very much a city girl. Ms Brown writes these characters so well, I felt like I was right there with them on the reenactment ride. I felt the dust, the heat of the sun and the sounds of the wilderness. Pretty cool.

Haley isn’t really country girl. She’s there because she’s getting out of her comfort zone. I rooted for her to find her HEA because well, if she could handle the ride, then she deserved the prize. I liked that she wasn’t perfect. She’s got her issues and was feisty, which made me want to see her succeed.

Dewar is a great kind of sexy. He’s strong, determined and has her best interests at heart, even when she drives him berserk. A great hero.

If you’re looking for a book that’s filled with moxie and has a hero who is drool-worthy, then you need to read Cowboy Seeks Bride.
