Ms. Pierce keeps you on tenterhooks until the very last moment. The romance between Damon and Julie, while fast moving, rings true. I love Damon’s statement, ““I’ll admit the wanton sex goddess cavorting on the dance floor definitely got my attention. But it was the compassionate woman worried over a friend that cinched it.” It made me fall in love with him a little myself.
I’m glad to see Ms. Pierce has the other two books in this trilogy already out. I’m anxious to read more about the Tilling sisters.
