This book was a bit frustrating for me because the reader is made aware of what is going on while the characters in the story are still trying to piece together the puzzle. I felt it was overdone how the wolves in the house automatically jump to the conclusion that Murphy is crazy and, due to the lack of support from Ludo, Murphy starts to think he is in fact losing his mind. Things that happened to Murphy are questionable on how they did occur but Ludo’s lack of belief in the man he claims to love almost cost him everything.

Thankfully, Murphy has a champion in Oliver, another member of the pack. Oliver goes head to head against the alpha in support of his friend. He believes without question that Murphy isn’t lying and will do anything and everything to help out his friend.

Ms. Hagen has once again left me hanging on the edge of my seat wondering what will happen next. Murphy’s stalker has a back story and motives I can’t wait see come to light. Then there is little Melonee, and her being part fay has me wondering where that story line will lead. Ms. Hagen gives just enough to keep me chomping at the bit. It’s a pleasure to read the Brac series and I can’t wait to dive into the next installment.

They weren’t trying to hurt her, but they all, every single one of them, wanted the woman that they fell in love with back. If that took going to extremes, then they were determined to do what was necessary.

There were two secondary threads here-Bryce’s surgery to repair his injuries, and the rescue of the young girl, resulting in the exposure of the fanatical religious murders of the women on the desert planet. Both stories were part of the actions that ultimately brought Mikayla back to ‘fighting form’ and out of her shell for good. I enjoyed the way she was able to come up with the perfect protection for the vulnerable and innocent young woman, and the way she just kept expanding her family.

I am looking forward to the sixth, and final, episode of this serial, and the reaction to Mikayla’s amazing pronouncement at the end of this one. What was that, you ask? I guess you’ll need to read these books to find out. But beware, this series is highly addictive, and scorching hot.

Her Full Moon Cowboys is one heck of a fantasy. We’re thrown into the action without any lead-in, so the abrupt plunge into this wild, undefined world, while exciting, let my suspension of disbelief wobble. Ultimately, though, I was able to go with the flow. About a third of the way through the book, we’re given some adult conversation about the situation, clarifying things and making them believable. What I didn’t find believable was Lily stopping to admire the décor while she’s running for her life. That information was necessary, but its positioning pulled me out of the story.

Despite my complaints, I loved the flashes of Ms. Allister’s sense of humor. The shower scene is full-on hotness. I liked the way the two male heroes played off each other. They’re complete individuals on the page and, by the tone of their voices alone, I never had any difficulty distinguishing who was who. My favorite part of the book was the way the author subtly wove the theme “marry in haste; repent at leisure” throughout.

Her Full Moon Cowboys is a fast read and if you like humor, and hot, bad cowboys, you’ll enjoy this book.

The book was very enjoyable but I wished there were more back story on Montana. As stated in the blurb his friend was killed by a vampire but that is all that is mentioned in the actual book as well. As with all the Brac pack mates, Ms. Hagen writes these men in the most realistic way while still being a paranormal story. All these men are human beings with real life personal drama. Gabby is an overweight vampire with self-image issues. He also has a bad case of talking so fast he leaves everyone speechless with his ability to go without taking a breath.

Ms. Hagen is the queen of the cliff hanger, but I love it and it has me coming back every week. There are more introductions of other paranormal shifters and we finally get more back ground info on Melonee. This series just picks up more steam with each new installment. As for Montana and Gabby these characters will stay with me and keep me wondering what will happen next for this duo. Ms. Hagen is always great about giving updates about every member of this extended family and it helps keep these characters fresh in your mind.

Another good read I highly recommend.

There were a couple of surprises revealed to Jessie in this novella that brought a whole other dimension to her story. Very revealing!

If you enjoy a fun series with likeable characters and a plot that has you anxiously awaiting the next installment, the Wilde, Nevada books are not to be missed. These stories aren’t overly long so, it isn’t too late to start at the beginning. Austin’s story can’t get here quick enough for this reviewer. Ms. Dwyer does a superb job of building a solid plot, multi-facetted characters and emotionally charged romance between the men and their fated mate.

The Men of Five-0 series is part of Siren Publishing’s Love Xtreme line but is different from the other series in that each book is a stand- alone story. You’ll notice characters from the other books mentioned so it helps to have read the other books but not at all necessary. I think after you’ve read one in will be hard not to go back and read the others, though. Ms. Dwyer is a wonderful story teller and an automatic buy for this reviewer.

This is the third addition to the Blaecleah Brothers series and I have to say Ms. Glenn turned up the heat with this tale. All of the stories in this series have some sort of violence surrounding the main characters. I was hooked from page one. This is most definitely a roller coaster ride of emotions from beginning to end.

Matty McCallister has escaped the iron-fisted rule of his homophobic father. Being the gay son of the town’s well respected reverend is not acceptable. Quaid Blaecleah grew up within a loving family. He and his five brothers being gay was never an issue with their parents or the majority of the town’s people. With everything in life there’s always a calm before the storm and that is true within this story. Once everything seems to be falling into place for Matty his past comes back to haunt him in a big way.

There were several editing errors that were missed. A character was referred to by the wrong name close to the beginning of the story and caused me a little confusion at first. Then there were a lot of misused words or extra words added into sentences to the point that the sentence didn’t make since. All the errors did add up but didn’t detour me from enjoying the story.

The love story between Quaid and Matty happened so fast. I like how it was a whirlwind romance that started from the moment they met. Matty being a cautious man causes struggles between the pair but as a couple they work through it. There is some violence in this story but it’s not overly graphic. It helps tell the story of Matty and what he has gone through to where he ends up. There were some things that came to light involving other characters from the previous books that was very informative. I would recommend reading the first two stories in this series. For me, the title had a double meaning that lends a clue to the sexual kink that’s important to the underlying growth in Beck’s character as well as his budding relationship with Meg. Bound also describes how Meg is the glue that unites the twin’s souls and gives them incredible talents.

Ms. Oak throws in several secondary characters that add so much to this epic story. A cousin to the twins and a vampire, Dante, plays an intricate part of insuring that Meg has a chance to realize the love she has for Beck and Cian even as an evil hag tries to tear them apart. I can’t wait to read Dante’s story. Ms. Oak has already indicated that it’s in the works. The small sample of how she handles the vampire plane was but a teaser that has me impatiently waiting for the next installment.

Bound has all the best elements of an epic novel with a smoking hot love story. The characters have both strengths and weaknesses that make their fantastical story all the more believable. Pick up a copy of Bound today and for goodness sake NEVER ACCEPT A RIDE FROM A KELPIE!

This author paired together a man still trying to figure out who he is with a man experience in life and in sex, so it’s a given these two men will butt heads often. The attraction is evident from the first touch they share. This is a couple that will keep me wondering what adventures they will share next long after the story ended. Although the pacing of the story reads fast, the fluidity of the storyline felt lacking. The scene changes weren’t always detailed and smoothly transitioned. However, it’s still quite enjoyable with the character relationship development and the unfolding of a couple of underlying plotlines. It should also be noted how very attentive Jackson is as a lover and the erotic content is good quality. For readers who adore an erotic romance in a contemporary setting with a cowboy twist, I recommend reading this story.
