In the fourth installment of this fabulous series, readers are treated to getting better acquainted with older brother and BDSM Master Denver Wilde. I knew when I read the excerpt and realized that Jessie thought of him in terms “Sir” that this was going to be a terrifically intense story. I was not disappointed!!
These are not stand alone stories even though each story focuses on Jessie’s relationship with a different brother. I noticed by book three that Jessie was heading further and deeper into the BDSM lifestyle and it was leading up to the ultimate challenge that will come in book five: Making a connection with oldest brother Austin.
If you’ve been following the series you know that there is an underlying evil that has been sabotaging the mine. Ms. Lang has a wonderfully engaging writing style that will have the reader vested in the story from page one. The dialogue flows easily and the plot is well defined. I like how Ms. Lang has defined each brother as unique and necessary to the story.
Jessie has been a favorite heroine from the beginning because of her great personality and ability to separate her desire for the men from her need to complete the mission. There were a couple of surprises revealed to Jessie in this novella that brought a whole other dimension to her story. Very revealing!
If you enjoy a fun series with likeable characters and a plot that has you anxiously awaiting the next installment, the Wilde, Nevada books are not to be missed. These stories aren’t overly long so, it isn’t too late to start at the beginning. Austin’s story can’t get here quick enough for this reviewer. I hope you join me in Nevada…where the men are Wilde and the women like it that way!
