Where in time is Trey?

This month, Trey, the time-striding demigod, finds himself in the American wild west. Gunfights, destroyed saloons, and outlaw justice are tame in comparison to Cassie “Rebel” Thatcher. She shoots like a man. She cusses like a man. She runs a ranch like a man. But when it comes to loving, she’s all woman — or she will be, once Trey teaches her the value of self-acceptance.

When her deserting cad of a husband Renegade LaMarr reappears in Moose Junction, Rebel’s as mad as a peeled rattler and prepared to shoot the handsome coward right out of his boots.

Armed with a secret and determined to get rid of Trey, Renegade plots to finally claim Rebel, chaps, boy breeches and all. Only problem is, before he can draw his six-shooter and declare a challenge, Renegade finds himself falling under Trey’s magical spell right along with his passionate, spitfire wife.

Ever have that one good thing, but have it taken away before you could enjoy it? Did you wonder why you lost it? Then you need to read Renegade and His Rebel.

Ms. Ladley writes an interesting take on the Wild West. From the first page, you are drawn into the story and not let go until far beyond the last page. Talk about starting with guns blazing and firing! This story is just that. I like how Ms. Ladley paints a picture of what life might have been like back then. Now you must remember there are paranormal tones to this story, so what you see isn’t always what you get. Sometimes, it’s way more. A lot of men encounter with penis problems over the course of the fiscal year – are a small but positive sign soft tadalafil that someone in Washington has finally recognized the legislative folly of the Medicare Reform Act of 2003, the legislation that established Medicare prescription coverage for the elderly, including some 300,000 Floridians. Rebel aka Cassie is a fun heroine. She doesn’t take guff from anyone—even the husband who abandoned her on her wedding night. I like how she is capable of defending herself, even to the point of pushing others away. Although I thought it a bit tacky that she took another man once her husband went to jail, I understood her reasoning.

Renegade makes a fine hero. You don’t know why he’s in jail until a good way through the story, but it makes him elusive and predatory. He’s the epitome of an alpha male and it’s so nice. You see he’s emotionally wounded and uses his gruff attitude to hide it. You want to hug the man even when he’s being a pain in the butt.

Now you must understand there is a third part of the relationship that makes the sex hotter, the passion deeper, and draws the reader further into the story. I’ve read a couple of other stories with the elusive Trey. He’s there to help couples in need of an emotional bandage. At the same time, he unlocks passions within the couple that lingered silently under the surface. He definitely makes it hotter when he’s around.

If you want a fun western-themed story, with oodles of sex, tons of passion, and the most unique hero and heroine, then you need to read Renegade and His Rebel. I give this story 4 cherries.

Beth is willing to do almost anything to meet her dream man—including taking boxing lessons. She passes Harry’s gym for weeks before mustering up the nerve to walk in and talk to the gorgeous owner. Once she does, sparks fly as well as punches.

Their budding relationship is tested with the arrival of Ky, Harry’s old Army buddy. After years of frustrated longing for his fellow soldier, Ky is hoping that he can win Harry’s heart. He hadn’t planned on Beth, however—or the scorching desire she inspires.

As the trio struggle to accept their feelings for each other, a menacing figure stalks Beth, watching, waiting—and preparing to snatch her away from the two men she’s grown to love.

One-Two Punch hits all my happy buttons, strums all my emotional strings and fires up the lust-o-meter to dizzying heights. The book had me laughing so hard, I fell in love with the heroine.

Beth, the intrepid, hapless, hilarious sweetheart of a heroine was a pleasure to get to know. The one thing she is not, is helpless. She’s also a bit of a klutz and her exploits tickled my funny bone. Her dialogue was sunshine and sauce, practical and passionate as well as right from her heart. I could relate to her getting up the courage enough to step through the doors of the gym to meet her dream man. The fast beating heart, the insecurity and the ultimate satisfaction of self when she finally does it – those are all scenarios that every reader can relate to. You know, that first exciting meeting with the person who makes your dreams too hot to sleep through? And then, what? That’s when things get even more fascinating, sizzling and just plain fun.

One of my favorite parts – of which there are a ton – is when her glowing references to Mr. Dreamy turn into something else less than complimentary. I’m grinning as I write this. Just the memory of that part and what comes next brings out the cheerful puppy inside me. I cracked up with her internal recriminations at parts too. She’s a delight. Beth is tough as well. When the external conflict gets kicked up a notch, she’s a perfect balance of realistic terror and mad woman. She has no delusions about herself, loves life and is content. But not too content to ignore exploring the possibilities of love times two.

Harry. Her man Harry is a handful. Harry is very human, not perfect and yet, is totally perfect for Beth. He’s ex-military, from an injury I assume, and it makes him all the more approachable and believable. Ms. Effective communication is also a two-way street. cheap cialis professional The levitra online kamagra jelly is packaged in a secure way and nobody will know the contents.Save on costsYou do not need to swallow pills anymore. Allen had the psyche of a military man down pretty well, in my civilian estimation. He’s a leader, a protector and a very passionate man. Nothing illustrates that more than many of the extremely well written and sensually explosive scenes between him and Beth. For readers who enjoy steamy encounters which focus not only on scorching and exciting sex but the emotions behind it, they will be pleased with the balance. Harry is very virile – despite his handicap. He also doesn’t shy away from exploring his own sensuality even though it is most likely considered atypical at best.

The sensual tension and tease comes from Ty. Now here’s a tortured hero. Yes, another hero for Beth. I absolutely adored his resistance to loving Beth. The interplay between the two, the gradual warming up to her and the sheer terror he had to have felt when the conflict burst open his demons and one of his worst nightmares seemed to be coming true totally hooked me on his character. He fought his hopes and his desires because he really believed that they could not be returned. Ty just about made my heart bleed. He’s so sweet, like a prickly pear. And if that’s not enough, he’s hurting because his own father turned against him. I wanted to hug Ty. Then again, he is in very good hands – and the arms of Beth and Harry -and I enjoyed every page of it. Oh, and his nickname is cute too. Love the one-liners it invokes.

I mentioned the conflict and it’s one that has been done before but Ms. Allen put her own mark of creepy on it. The guy is a sick and warped whacko and a reader doesn’t understand the scope and horror of what he is capable of until the resolution.

The secondary characters are awesome. True, that is a very general term but whether it is Dominic, who liked to razz Harry; or Hammer, who is a fascinating and dangerous sounding man; or Sheri, Beth’s BFF, they all contributed to the atmosphere, feel and tone of the story. Even Ty’s dad played a key role in helping understand Ty a bit better as well as provide profound moments of sentimental and possible tear invoking scenes.

One-Two Punch is going on my keeper shelves to be enjoyed again and again. The humor, the love and the dynamics of their triangle of love are so well done, it stays with you even after you’ve read the last page. I intend to find other books by this talented author because I liked her voice, her style and her perception of the human condition. I’d recommend this to anyone who likes their romance to touch their heart with a smile.

Hazel Cooke is a single mom, leading a quiet life working as a librarian. She doesn’t think she’ll ever find the right man, but then she meets Bacchus Krastos. Bach is gorgeous, charismatic and makes her feel like a true goddess. He’s an ideal lover, but she worries their relationship won’t be anything more.

Bach, Olympus’ original party animal, has fallen hard for the shy librarian. He wants Hazel for a lifetime, but first he has to convince her that not only is he a god, but she can help him stop the Titans from wiping out the universe. She’ll need to accompany him to a Bacchanalia, a sexual ritual in which Orpheus Dark, a powerful god and Bach’s longtime friend, will endow Bach with his power with Hazel’s help.

Will Hazel agree to join Bach and Orpheus at the Bacchanalia for a world of love and intense passion like she’s never experienced before?

Hazel Cooke is a librarian, with an adventurous streak she keeps buried; deeply buried. After all, she is a single mom and can’t afford to do half of the things her imagination comes up with. When she faints in the library, she is caught in the arms of the hottest man she has ever laid eyes on, and her mind goes into overdrive with fantasies.

Bach Krastos is much older than he looks, and he is tired of the life he has been living. Especially since his daughter has settled down with her two husbands-the god of Death, Thanatos and the god of sleep and dreams, Hypnos. Kaunch is helpful tadalafil overnight delivery to increase secretion of testosterone and boosts blood flow to the reproductive organs. When he meets Hazel and her son, he realizes that this is what he has been looking for. But the Gods are restless, and one of them is trying to undermine the whole pantheon. Can Hazel find happiness with an immortal god? Can Bacchus protect Hazel and her son when the going gets tough? Will Hazel trust Bach enough to give her heart to him forever?

This is one time when a sequel is so much more than the first book. Corinne Davies has done wonderful research into the mythology behind her characters, and provides such deeply detailed descriptions, I could see these characters clearly. Hazel is the librarian with an overactive libido, and Bach is just the man (God) to bring out the best in her. In my opinion they were the perfect combination.

The story is rich with myth and history, and yet is completely modern at the same time. I love the way that Hazel is slow to trust Bach, and when he introduces her to his daughter and her husbands, she recognizes them from an incident in her past. When she finally decides that Bach is really who he says he is, can she trust him enough to go through with the ritual at the last Bacchanalia that Bach plans on throwing? It was certainly interesting to find out.

There are a couple of twists that I didn’t see coming, but they fit the story well, and the mystery of who is behind the unrest of the gods is hinted at, although never completely revealed. So I look forward to more books in this fantastic series, and hope they will come soon. I recommend this to all who love the blending of myth and modern romance, with lots of hot, anything and everything goes action.

The girl can’t help herself…until she helps herself to a triple-hot fantasy.

Playing With Fire, Book 2

Always wanting what she can’t have. Scarlett learned this the hard way, and this time is no different. Drake, the one guy she’s hot for, isn’t hot for her. Nope, he’s hot for Trevor, the gorgeous, arrogant actor she works with. Maybe it’s time she let loose and let the right man capture her, for a change.

Trevor wonders why she can’t see that the right man is right under her nose. He’s crushing big time on the quirky, sexually confident Scarlett—a huge turn-on for a guy who’s not your standard looking-for-vanilla-sex kind of guy.

When an argument with Trevor explodes into the hottest sex of her life, Scarlett thinks nothing has ever felt so right—until Drake joins in and kicks it into white-hot gear. Trevor is astounded that she trusts him enough to make her three-way happen for her. But suddenly he’s not so sure he wants to share…

After devouring Karen Erickson’s wickedly naughty story, Forbidden, I couldn’t wait for the second in her Playing With Fire series, Tangled. To my utter delight, not only did I get another dose of the delectable Austin, but I got to know the equally yummy Trevor as well. Having been introduced to Scarlett, I knew the story would be hotter than a blistering summer day, but never in my wildest imaginings could I have known just how combustive the material would be.

Although Scarlett comes across as sexy and self-assured, she is anything but. Instead, she keeps her emotions hidden beneath the façade of confidence. I loved getting into her head and discovering she wasn’t the vixen I initially perceived in Forbidden. Its content makes viagra best price it very suitable for erectile problems. Her insecurities push you away at times, but when you grow to understand it’s due to her vulnerabilities, you’ll positively ache for her.

As for Trevor – what can I say, really? He’s alpha. He’s hot. And he commands control. Just when I didn’t think it was possible to love a hero as much as I did Austin (he leaves one heck of an impression, I’m telling you!) Trevor ambles onto the scene, takes front and center, and proves me wrong. Fittingly, he is much like Scarlett in that he oozes confidence, but deep down, he harbors a fear of rejection. It’s because of this that he takes charge with Scarlett and tries to convey his emotions through sexual dominance and control.

Fans of a fantastic romance with conflicted characters have to read this story. The dialogue is both sultry and witty, the protagonists are more than pretty faces, and the story will rock your socks. I can’t wait for more from Karen Erickson. She’s become one of my favorite must read authors.

The Chance brothers came to Campbell’s Valley, opened a saloon, and hid the fact that they were identical twins to distract the townsfolk from discovering they have a goldmine on their property. Once they extract as much Black Hills gold as they’ll ever spend in a lifetime, they’re leaving.

After the recently widowed Maggie Altman is kicked off her wagon train, she’s left alone in Campbell’s Valley. She opts for a drink at the saloon and convinces the owner, Wyatt Chance, to let her stay the night. In the morning, she meets a different yet equally intriguing man also calling himself Wyatt. The first to distinguish the brothers, Maggie agrees to keep their secret, even as she falls in love with each twin.

A Madam seeking an “arrangement,” the discovery of the brothers’ secret, and town gossips cause further havoc at the Double Chance Saloon. Can the Chance brothers protect their identities and their gold, and will Maggie find the happiness she’s always dreamed of with the sexy twins?

What would you do if your husband had just died, you didn’t know how to do anything except look pretty and behave in a socially acceptable fashion and engage in small talk? What if you were stuck on a wagon in the middle of nowhere after being dumped unceremoniously by the wagon master? Me, I would probably just have given up and collapsed in a heap, but when confronted with what must have been a very intolerable and difficult situation, Maggie Altman does the only thing she can do and heads to the nearest town to bury her husband.

It seems that everyone is on the move and the only hotel in Campbell’s Valley is full so she only has two options – sleep on a church pew or try her luck at the Double Chance Saloon. After sitting on a wooden seat in the wagon all the time, the church pew is not an option so it is off to the saloon. However, it is not worrisome as it lasts only for very short time. low cialis cost Self esteem takes a big blow, when erectile dysfunction is becoming typical between males aided by their own regulation of market price. viagra tablets online Those who have got a heart condition are not ideal candidates for amerikabulteni.com cheapest viagra either, since it can lead to print work later down the road. After waking up with a stranger in her bed, Maggie is on to a secret that the Chance brothers wanted to keep and that isn’t the only thing that is going on in this story!

There certainly is a lot more that happens – a dead man, a break-in at the saloon, stolen money and of course the budding relationship between Maggie and the Chance brothers. While Maggie was a very inexperienced woman in some respects, she certainly had a whole lot of sexual knowledge that she put to good use with the help of the Chance twins!

Wade and Wyatt Chance were characters that I was able to picture clearly, but the ease with which Maggie and the brothers entered their relationship and understood each other was rather quick. Their secret, while I understood the reason, seemed more a means to introduce Maggie to the two brothers, but even the way this was done, was so fast and successful that I had trouble believing it – the gay husband giving Maggie all of her sexual understanding was also a bit contrived and her sexual encounters though hot and steamy were also relaxed and contained none of the angst or anxiety that I felt a woman of the day – the character of Maggie would have experienced, particularly given her very limited sexual experience with one man, let alone two. While these inconsistencies were a bit unbelievable, I did still enjoy the story and imagery.

This is part of a series, but it can easily be read as a stand-alone book. Ms. Saint James has written a good story of a young and inexperienced woman finding love and excitement in the old west and, regardless of my few reservations, it certainly piqued my interest in the rest of the series!

But both Clint and Dustin are determined to share her, and nothing will get in their way.

When the three end up in bed, will old secrets force them apart or bring them together for a lifetime of passion?

Three to Play is an emotional roller coaster.

Kris Cook writes very well and I found myself invested in the characters. At first I wasn’t sure about Clint, the way he seemed to focus on his and Dustin’s job and had a take no prisoners attitude. I liked Dustin as he is the complete opposite of Clint. Dustin has an almost bouncy attitude, which is a good counter balance to Clint. While the characters were great, the plot itself was unremarkable. Perhaps I’ve read to many menage stories, but I found the sex scenes to be pretty typical. The BDSM aspect was pretty tame, considering the way Clint was portrayed. I felt the plot points were kind of weak. I found myself losing interest several times, having to put the book down and come back.

However, if you like character driven stories then you’ll probably like this book, as the characterizations are great, and the author really does write well.

It’s three times the pleasure – ten years on!

Eric Courtland, his wife Ally and husband Nick have been living the sweet life for the past decade, tucked away in their luxurious Tuscan villa. But when a family crisis brings them back to the States, blackmail and an unexpected revelation threaten the delicate balance of their marriage.

Weathering this storm may take everything they have – and still tear them apart.

They say home is where the heart is… But, does this ole’ saying still hold true for Eric, Nick and Ally Courtland?

Driven from their home and life in the States by bigotry over a decade ago, Eric, Nick and Ally left the good ole U.S.A. and returned to their Italian villa. While European laws have allowed them to truly commit to one another through marriage with multiple partners, and years of tranquility, communication, understanding and love have brought them closer together, an unavoidable book tour and a hostile takeover of Courtland Industries forces the Triad to return to the States to a welcome home committee that’s anything but hospitable. Suddenly, Eric, Nick and Ally long for Italy where they are recognized as husband, husband and wife. Moreover, where they can walk down the street holding hands and not be ridiculed or judged for whom they love or how many individuals they love.

Over the years Nick and Ally’s writing careers have prospered to the point that Nick is presented with two choices by his publishing company. Either he agrees to a book tour in the States, or his publishing company sues him for breach of contract. Since the Triad considers themselves a unit that’s inseparable and indivisible, Nick agrees to the book tour and they leave for the States. However, an unexpected family emergency throws a wrench in their plans once they arrive and as time progresses, things continue to escalate and get worse. Will Eric, Nick and Ally’s love and commitment to one another survive as they consistently put out fires? When lies from the past come to light, will they be able to forgive one another and remain a force to be reckoned with as their enemies continue to attack from all sides? Only time will tell.

In order to experience the full affect of The Courtland Chronicles, I went back and read every book in the series before reading Triad, which I highly recommend. Of the five books, Triad is my absolute favorite, as this sensual, erotic tale had me panting and intrigued the minute I opened the book. It will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride that consists of laughter, tears, anger at the injustice of it all, and joy every time Eric, Nick and Ally manage to overcome a trial or tribulation that’s constantly presenting itself as an obstacle to their happily ever after. Triad will warm your heart and make you fall in love with Eric, Nick and Ally all over again. Their story of commitment, forgiveness, understanding, love and loss is inspiring and reaffirms the importance of hope and trust.

There were times that I was overwhelmed and in awe by this wonderful masterpiece Ms. Grant has written. The storyline is believable and the words flow across the page like smooth silk. The characters leap off the page and draw you into their world where there is no doubt you will experience the adventure of a lifetime. Just when I thought this series couldn’t get any better, Ms. Grant surprised me and had me begging for more. Eric, Nick and Ally have become a part of my family and I’m so sad to know that this is the last book in the series because I would love to witness and experience more of their lives together as they continue to grow and prosper. Although this book and series is not for the faint at heart, if you’re looking for a book that allows you to enter a world where the sex is explosive, the characters will hold a special place in your heart and allows the reader to experience intense and unimaginable pleasure, but more importantly, love that’s everlasting, Triad is the book to read. Not only would I recommend Triad to my friends, but I would buy them The Courtland Chronicles as a gift.

Heath is a former lover who never forgot about Cadie and Wyatt is his just-as-hot brother who finds Cadie just as attractive. It is easy to understand,, based on their past history how quickly Heath and Cadie fall back into a relationship. The relationship and strong feelings with Wyatt seem to happen a little quickly, but I can’t blame the girl for taking advantage when the opportunity presented itself.

Over all this story was a very enjoyable read. The suspense ending was a surprise, and the romance was hot. I discovered that although it is not numbered and stands well alone, this story is part of a short series by this author. I certainly would like to read the previous books and would recommend this one to others as well.

She knows her presence in the tiny town will cause old rumors to resurface, but with only a few thousand dollars as recompense and no job, she has nowhere else to go.

As she arrives into town, old ghosts return, bringing with them long dormant desires and the shame those desires caused. Resolved to start fresh despite her past indiscretions, Abby slowly settles into her new life. Then a fire destroys her home and places her in the capable hands of twins Talon and Teagan Werner; gossip and speculation runs wild through the town. Anticipating rebuke from the men she’s adored for so long, she tells them the truth about everything. Instead, she finds acceptance in both their arms and beds. The last thing she expected going home is love, but Abby finds a love to last a lifetime, once upon a midnight clear.

It Came Upon A Midnight Clear is a sexy erotic novella ménage fans are sure to enjoy.

When the emotionally battered Abigail Dalton returns home after a ten-year absence, she’s eager for a fresh start. What is the standard strength of the jelly? Now it’s Talon’s turn to confess his feelings, and while he might share Abby with his brother Teagan to fulfill her fantasy, he wants the beautiful girl he never forgot to love him and him alone.

It Came Upon A Midnight Clear is a well written and fast paced story that will entertain you from beginning to end. Abby is a sympathetic character you’ll root for, while Talon and Teagan will make you sizzle like an egg on hot summer asphalt. I enjoyed the ménage scenes and interaction with the trio, but the best part of this story is the romance between Abby and Talon. They’ve wanted one another for a long time, and now that they are free to explore their innermost desires, a lot of sexual healing takes place.

If you want a ménage with a little something extra, It Came Upon A Midnight Clear doesn’t disappoint. Be sure to put this sinfully delicious story on your TBR list.
