When I read the blurb for this story, I knew I had to read it. Parallel universes? Two hot husbands who both want you and love you and need you? What’s a girl to do?

Lila was outside her house one afternoon, washing her car during an average day when she heard a car coming up the road. She assumes it’s her husband of seven years, the husband she loves madly, but it’s not. It’s her boss and good friend, Jack, who walks over to her and pulls her into a passionate embrace, then announces that it’s good to see his wife.

Wife?

More than a little confused, and a bit uneasy, she and Jack go into the house and wait for Ryan to show up. Here’s where things get a little crazy … but in a fun way. Ryan actually seems pretty accepting of the whole thing. And Jack? Well he’s massively attracted to Lila, not to mention madly in love. And as they start discussing things, it appears that Jack remembers things differently, and that other small things are slightly different in the world he remembers as well.

What on earth is going on?

Kathleen Dienne has done a wonderful job making the idea of parallel universes believable, as well as causing her characters to act in a way that absolutely makes sense. This story built upon a great idea, had a strong plot and some really hot sex with plenty of variety (even a voyeuristic scene that was as hot as I’ve ever read and even just thinking back on it makes me want to fan myself). I wanted to truly love it, but it was too short and I just didn’t get a chance to connect fully with the characters. This story hurried through something that could have been so much more.

That’s not to say that I didn’t like it… I did! Lila’s predicament really tugged at my heart. She’s desperately in love with Ryan (and he with her) so truly struggles with her desire for this new Jack. The way this difficulty is dealt with was truly clever and the author came up with a unique twist that I found intriguing, unusual and a bit mind boggling. I don’t think I’ve read a solution to spice up a monogamous relationship quite like this.

Her Heart’s Divide is a steamy, clever story with a loving couple and a very happy ever after (and a twist at the end that made me chuckle). If you’re a ménage fan and like your characters to really, deeply love each other, this might be the perfect book to add to your shelf.

For such a short story, Healing Seduction packed quite a of wallop. Granted, I’ve come to expect nothing less from Jory Strong, and this story was no different. I loved getting a chance to visit her Crime Tells universe once again.

Kiera has been healing after the devastating loss of her husband. She knows that she has to let him go and move on, and she knows just the men to move on with her into the future. But they’re clinging to a sense of duty to her dead husband, and she’s not about to let that ruin her happy ever after. What’s a girl to do when she knows the men she wants want her just as badly? Why, push them a bit into a healing seduction.

I really liked Kiera as a heroine. She was much stronger than one would expect, and I had to respect that. Knowing such heart-wrenching loss has made her realize that one must grab onto happiness with both hands before it’s gone, and to never let go, and never look back. I loved how she was so determined to get what she wanted, and the way she forced the issue made me smile. Especially her men’s reactions to it. She’s definitely someone I would love to have as a friend, if only to live vicariously through her.

Lucca and Quade were both interesting Alpha males, even if they did need a swift kick in the rear that Kiera was more than happy to provide. Lucca was really quite admirable, if a bit forceful. Luckily, Quade balanced out the force quite nicely. I did have a small issue with this story. Quade seemed just the tiniest bit wishy washy to me. Regardless of how much I liked him, and knowing that he was dealing with his own guilt in how Kiera’s husband died, there were a few times I wanted to smack him upside his head. I kind of felt that his change of heart was too quick considering just how conflicted he was about where this relationship had led them. Since he had good reason to be conflicted, I would have liked to have seen a bit more development of that internal conflict. But, keeping in mind that this is a short story and more had to be packed into this small amount of pages, I won’t mark the rating down too much simply because there truly was plenty of emotion right alongside the heat I have come to expect from Jory Strong. It just would have been nice to get a bit more time to see Quade’s realizations of what his ambivalence could be doing to Kiera and their relationship. Since it all worked out in the end, I’m not really complaining about how they got to that happy ending.

In true Jory Strong fashion there were funny and fun, if not downright fascinating secondary characters that I would love to see more of (ahem… Jake and Tyce anyone?). I truly got a kick out of their behavior and had to fan myself just in the short amount of time they were introduced. Alongside new characters, there were visits from old friends from the Crime Tells world, and it was a joy to see how they were doing in their own happy ever afters. Add in a truly explosive love scene between Lucca, Kiera and Quade and I was one happy reader. That first love scene between the three of them was intense, hot and incredibly passionate while somehow managing to be tender and even a little sweet at the same time.

While I wish that this story had been longer simply because I didn’t want to see it end, I honestly couldn’t put the book down and finished it both times I read it in one sitting each. For fans of Jory Strong and the Crime Tells world she has created, this is a must have for your keeper shelf. This fan was thoroughly entertained and can’t wait to see what else Ms. Strong has up her sleeve. This was definitely a well-written ménage that left me with a smile on my face.

It’s not difficult for Harper to pick up on Jonas’s animosity, which creates even more confusion and doubt. While she is attracted to both of the sexy men, she refuses to be anything less than an equal partner, and recognizes that with Jonas that may never be possible.

Elements of danger exist, but for the most part Twice Shy is a novella that centers on the three people, their conflicts, and the resolution that brings them together. The work itself is well written and fast paced, and the sex scenes sizzle. Aside from a few instances in which I was confused on who was doing what, I was able to enjoy the book from start to finish without ever putting it down. I should also mention that while it’s not necessary to read the first novella, Once Bitten, to follow along with Twice Shy, I’d recommend doing so if you’d like to have a full understanding of the key secondary characters and back story.

Ambar is a woman who is finally free of the constraints of her very strict upbringing. Now she has the chance to explore and do the things she wants. Everything is going her way and she couldn’t be happier. Or so she thinks. Just like a good James Bond martini, she gets shaken. But Ambar most certainly gets stirred as well and everything explodes.

What I enjoyed the most about Ambar’s reaction is her very believable emotions of jealousy, insecurity and fear. This is the first book to actually touch base on what the dynamics are like when a relationship changes and there are more than the usual two players. Ms. Munro totally captured the essence of her characters and ran with it. I felt the perspective to be refreshing and honest. I really could empathize with Ambar’s feelings of betrayal and her fear of being left out. In fact it was awesome how the author got me to feel that too. Everyone knows that feeling at one time or another in their lives of being on the outside looking in and it’s a physical pain. The yearning for something they’ve lost and fear they’ll never have again. And the anger at the person they think has what they had. Those intense emotions are all there in this story and it made quite an impact on me. Did I think Ambar’s reaction went on too long? No, not at all. When I think back on the story, there is so much going on and she naturally takes awhile to learn to trust and share her confidences with them. No one jumps right into a new fragile relationship and bares all. So yes, it’s realistic, touching and it drew me in one hundred percent.

The conflict is all character driven in this book. There are no creepy persons or villains. The story is all about falling in love in spite of their differences. Of coming to trust each other and figuring out what they want out of life and what they mean to each other. I read this book in one sitting because I simply had to find out what it was going to take for each one of them to admit they needed each other to be happy. The secondary characters helped and contributed a sense of a caring community. There is some great detail in this tale and I enjoyed the dialogue, the descriptions and the interactions between all the persons involved.

Tiger by the Tail is another winner for Ms. Munro and my high praise of this book is well earned. Every love scene mattered and with each one a reader can feel the heat building and the love growing. Each encounter had meaning and provided growth in one form or another. It being a paranormal romance, it delivered my personal favorite activity, biting. I love a good kitty bite and this book delivers that too. I enthusiastically recommend this book to any paranormal erotic romance reader who looks for quality writing and a happily ever after that satisfies.

That part of the story seemed to happen fast—almost too fast—but it wasn’t enough to pull me out of the story.

The antagonist, Thanos’ brother is totally evil and a nice spicy addition. I wanted to know what happened to him after the story ended.

If you want a story that’s filled with heat, heart, and a plot that’s fresh, then you need to read Divine Redemption. I give this story 4 cherries.

I love a book with a sassy, saucy heroine. Texas Tangle delivers the goods. Leah Braemel’s storytelling drew me in from page one and kept me riveted in my seat until the last word. I felt like I was right there with Brett, Dillon, and Nikki. It was like I was reading about my dear friends and going through the struggles with them.

Nikki is a great heroine. She’s been through hell, but she manages to come out on the other side with grace and pluck. Braden takes his role as protector of the pod very seriously, and I love that dedication to community and family that he has. It doesn’t hurt at all that he is tall and studly along with it.

The third piece of this triangle is Chelsea. She has loved Braden for as long as she can remember, but refuses to deny the attraction she has for Jamie as well. Chelsea is a young woman, with a strong sense of family loyalty. She sacrifices her chance at college when her father is injured, helping out with paying for her sister to finish school first. Smart as a whip, I love the way Chelsea is able to be both sexy and innocent at the same time. When the three finally get together, the action gets hot and the sex goes volcanic.
