Edwina has to be the mouthiest heroine I’ve ever been introduced to. Ms. Clark certainly has presented readers with a challenging and acerbic character. She confounds, exasperates and intrigues the heroes. That means she’s perfect for the role as their love interest. Certainly a bland, insipid and weak female would not have worked but the author outdid herself with the creation of Edwina Callahan. The courtship of the heroine is like watching a porcupine mating – careful and potentially dangerous. And yes feelings get hurt. But half the fun is watching them get soothed, stroked and explored.

The seven scientists are more than what they seem. There’s a really good reason why they are so effective at their chosen profession and the author explored that just enough for the plot to work. A reader will meet Jake and Kieran first and they play a huge role in some of the heroine’s initial internal angst. As for the conflict, it ends up being nefarious and quite a nice touch. I liked how it was presented step by step as the brothers slowly put the pieces together. Even though I figured out how and the why before it was actually revealed, the dramatic confrontation was pure entertainment. I just sat back and enjoyed it.

The dialogue sounded natural and the pacing spot on for this length of work. My favorite aspect was I assumed that the two guys would compete physically and emotionally for Elyssa which the author portrayed at first. However, there was a wonderful twist in the tale which I won’t give away and spoil for you. These are likable characters and this was a story that I enjoyed reading to the last page.

If you’re looking for a sexy, short menage story with a satisfying ending then this might be an ideal read for you too.

I felt this long stretch of the three not being together and this being such a short story that it didn’t allow me to really connect with the characters like I’d hoped. I did like other aspects of this story however, like authentic dialogue, good pacing, and the description of the setting.

There’s also an added bonus to this story where the author reveals that Jimmy and Evan might get together too. I think this is a fun read if you’re looking for a different kind of ménage story.

Still hurting from a recent break up with a long-term boyfriend, Taylor has no intention of making it easy for the temptingly rich and very attractive oil barons. But what’s a girl to do? Just fantasize about the two gorgeous guys she works for? Or enjoy all they have to offer?

Jack McKenna has an air of confidence and self-assurance that was a potent aphrodisiac to Taylor, and had me stopping to fan my face a few times, too. Personally I would label that man “too hot to handle” in my little black book. Being a love ’em and leave ’em type of guy, it made me wonder if the storyline would have a fairy tale ending or whether it be one of those happy for now types.

Brody, Jack’s long time friend and partner, is the silent type and still morning the death of his wife. There are a few well-laid twists within the story and the road to Happy Ever After does not come easy.

This book will definitely set your computer on fire and leave you with some hot graphic details to fuel your dreams.

The story takes an unusual turn when, after she denies his claim that she is beautiful, Ty orders April to take her purchase, leave and not return until she has faith in her own beauty. But when she gets home, she can find no trace of the bustier or proof of the transaction. The twists and odd surprises in this story are fascinating and fun. I chuckled at the author’s wicked humor several times. The sizzling erotic scenes burn right off the pages and are a bit edgy, as well. Ms. Daniels took me on a fantasy journey that had several notable layers and was enjoyable from beginning to end. I loved the surprise ending with a hopeful slant. While I wouldn’t call this a romance exactly, I feel the story is worth the read for the message of self-love, healing and sexual emergence. My advice is this: do read Customer Service. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it, as did I.
